FlyOver
FlyOver (Formerly FlyOver Canada) is an exiting Vancouver attraction that offers a breathtakingly realistic flight experience
Have you ever dreamed of soaring like a bird over some of the most spectacular scenery on earth? FlyOver, conveniently located at the Cruise Ship Terminal, offers an experience so real that it will almost leave you breathless!
Opening on June 29th, 2013 this exciting attraction, which took years to create, has become one of the top experiences in the city. If you have ever experienced the extremely popular Soaring Over California attraction at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you will have had a taste of what this attraction will be like.
Strapped into your seat in front of a 20 metre domed screen, you will enjoy a virtual flying experience that explores incredible scenery from Canada and/or from other spectacular destinations around the world. All of your senses will be stimulated with the amazing 4D effects which include motion, surround sound, wind, mist and even scents that will have you totally mesmerized for the duration of the ride. The sense of actually being there is incredible and it really does feel like you are flying.
There are two experiences to choose from at any given time and new experiences are being developed. On your next visit you may be able to enjoy an entirely new show.
You can save money by pre-booking your ticket(s) online, even on the day of your visit. You can save even more per show by booking a double feature ticket for both of the shows that are currently playing.
When you consider the cost of a quick sightseeing flight over a small area in an actual aircraft, this experience is truly a bargain. On top of that, no sightseeing flight can offer you some of the experiences that are provided during this ride as special permits for low flight had to be obtained in order to film many of the scenes.
With its convenient location inside Canada Place, right next to Waterfront Station on Vancouver's spectacular harbourfront, it will be easy to fit this great attraction into your travel plans; even during a short stay in the city.
Other things you should know:
A discount is available if you prepurchase your ticket online. Fasttrack tickets are also available for a small premium.
There is a height restriction for this attraction. Riders must be a minimum of 40 inches | 102 cm tall. Children 12 and under must be accommpanied by and adult. There is an elevator for wheelchair accessibility.
The entire experience is about 25 minutes in length. The queue is outside, so be dressed for the weather of the day.

out of 5 If you would like to have a better view, request the lower part of the seating and if possible the middle area. I have tried both and the upper seating you can see the black ceiling but all in all it was great!
Staff were friendly and the place is clean
I love the line up waiting area heated and has bench on the side where you can sit.
I bought the tickets at the kiosk the cashier was helpful and I ask if there is a on going deals and he explained it to me with good details.
I would bring a family member or a friend who are visiting canada.

Went there for the Halloween one. I think it is their time for upgrade. The resolution of the screen is too low and blurry so that it is not very realisitic anymore but kids were enjoying.
Halloween one is little more extra at the end of the video and witch is just flying during the video so not very special neither. 🥺

Was overall fun but feeling like a critic due to the crazy price. Video quality looked like 720p at best, when you tilt up, the roof above the seats doesn't extent far wnough and you can see where the screen ends at the ceiling and a large black void. You can see every rectangle that makes up the screen making it look blocky.
The staff were all really good, facility was clean but I feel the show quality needs a major overhaul in order to charge the crazy prices they charge. (Local BC resident pricing for 1 adult and 2 children was nearly $100).

Good family activity . The shows are nice and they have a nice selection of souvenirs in the gift shop and a cafe which serves coffee , drinks and snacks . Family friendly and accessible

A week before our trip, we made a list of things to do in Vancouver, BC. Fly Over Canada was at the top of our list, and so we ordered tickets online. A week later, on the way up to the Fly Over Interactive virtual ride, we entered the Port of Vancouver Discovery Centre... Canada's largest and busiest port, located at 100 The Pointe, 999 Canada Place, on the waterfront. Cameras 🤳 📸 are not allowed here, so check YouTube... that's how we found this ride. And yes, be prepared... it's a ride so it does move!
