FlyOver
FlyOver (Formerly FlyOver Canada) is an exiting Vancouver attraction that offers a breathtakingly realistic flight experience

Have you ever dreamed of soaring like a bird over some of the most spectacular scenery on earth? FlyOver, conveniently located at the Cruise Ship Terminal, offers an experience so real that it will almost leave you breathless!
Opening on June 29th, 2013 this exciting attraction, which took years to create, has become one of the top experiences in the city. If you have ever experienced the extremely popular Soaring Over California attraction at Disneyland or Walt Disney World, you will have had a taste of what this attraction will be like.
Strapped into your seat in front of a 20 metre domed screen, you will enjoy a virtual flying experience that explores incredible scenery from Canada and/or from other spectacular destinations around the world. All of your senses will be stimulated with the amazing 4D effects which include motion, surround sound, wind, mist and even scents that will have you totally mesmerized for the duration of the ride. The sense of actually being there is incredible and it really does feel like you are flying.
There are two experiences to choose from at any given time and new experiences are being developed. On your next visit you may be able to enjoy an entirely new show.
You can save money by pre-booking your ticket(s) online, even on the day of your visit. You can save even more per show by booking a double feature ticket for both of the shows that are currently playing.
When you consider the cost of a quick sightseeing flight over a small area in an actual aircraft, this experience is truly a bargain. On top of that, no sightseeing flight can offer you some of the experiences that are provided during this ride as special permits for low flight had to be obtained in order to film many of the scenes.
With its convenient location inside Canada Place, right next to Waterfront Station on Vancouver's spectacular harbourfront, it will be easy to fit this great attraction into your travel plans; even during a short stay in the city.
Other things you should know:
A discount is available if you prepurchase your ticket online. Fasttrack tickets are also available for a small premium.
There is a height restriction for this attraction. Riders must be a minimum of 40 inches | 102 cm tall. Children 12 and under must be accommpanied by and adult. There is an elevator for wheelchair accessibility.
The entire experience is about 25 minutes in length. The queue is outside, so be dressed for the weather of the day.

Expensive but really cool. We did Hawaii this time and it was beautiful! Not long enough but ah well. Gift shop was actually pretty nice and has decent pricing. Cafe is a great value as well! Staff was nice. 😊

What an incredible fun experience, easy to find, paid parking at Canada Pan Pacific , get there 15min early, wheelchair accessible, unfortunately there are 2 set of stairs and there is an elevator so you can get to the show.
26min ride, unbelievable performance what an experience, if you are a BC resident and proof of ID you can see FlyOver Soar with Santa for only $29 instead of $49.
I also paid for the digital photo. When you are e you will be given an actual ticket, then up another flight of stairs and the representative will take your ticket as well as scan your digital ticket for the photo right then and there is a green screen. Then you wait in line for 5 min and then you go into a fun Christmas theme room and listen to the Elves present there instructions and there are plenty of opportunities to take pictures . Then you wait 10min and then off you go to the seat pick the middle , there are 2 levels depending on your group size.
Listen to the instructions and place all loose items under your seat . Buckle up and enjoy the phenomenal experience , you will see our lovely provinces of Canada.
Lookout for those pesky Elves, then you are in for such a surprise. Keep your hands and feet in your own space and enjoy the 15 min show!!
Worth every penny so glad I got to play tourist in my own backyard .

Amazing Experience at FlyOver Canada!
We visited FlyOver Canada yesterday, and it was absolutely breathtaking. The kids loved it, and mom was scared 😋.
The experience is incredibly immersive, making you feel like you're soaring over some of the most stunning landscapes in Canada. The visuals are stunning, and the effects—like wind, water spray, and scents—add to the realism.
The staff was friendly and professional, and the facility was clean and well-organized. The pre-show (10 minutes) was informative and set the mood perfectly for the main event. However, for first-timers, the pre-show might be a bit confusing since you expect a 4D show, but it’s in a room with limited seating and wall projections 😅. The main show itself lasts about 10 minutes, following a safety briefing and seating.
It’s a bit on the pricey side, but well worth it for the unique experience. There are two shows to choose from: Canada and Hawaii. Ticket pricing varies, with a special rate for local residents (ID required) and a separate rate for visitors. You can save 30% if you purchase tickets for both shows.
A must-visit if you're in Vancouver!

If you would like to have a better view, request the lower part of the seating and if possible the middle area. I have tried both and the upper seating you can see the black ceiling but all in all it was great!
Staff were friendly and the place is clean
I love the line up waiting area heated and has bench on the side where you can sit.
I bought the tickets at the kiosk the cashier was helpful and I ask if there is a on going deals and he explained it to me with good details.
I would bring a family member or a friend who are visiting canada.
