Brentwood Mall: A Transformative Shopping Experience in Burnaby
Brentwood Mall, once a medium-sized shopping center, is undergoing a significant transformation, poised to become a vibrant urban hub. As Burnaby's 3rd largest mall, it currently offers approximately 100 shops, services and dining options including the renovated food court overlooking the Millennium SkyTrain Line.
Redevelopment Plans
The mall and its surrounding area are undergoing a major redevelopment initiative. This includes the construction of three residential skyscrapers, featuring a large common outdoor plaza and pedestrian boulevards adorned with boutique shops and cafés. The redevelopment aims to introduce a plethora of new stores, fine dining establishments, cinemas, and other amenities. The planned outdoor plaza and park area will serve as a social gathering space, hosting frequent festivals and entertainment events.
Convenient Access by Transit
Access to Brentwood Mall via public transit is convenient, with a covered walkway connecting to Brentwood SkyTrain Station on the Millennium Line, enhancing connectivity for shoppers and visitors.
Anchor Stores and New Additions
While undergoing redevelopment, Brentwood Mall continues to offer anchor stores such as London Drugs, H&M, L.L.Bean and Urban Outfitters. New anchor stores and retailers are expected to join the mall as the redevelopment and transformation continues, enriching the shopping experience for visitors.

If you never been to this new mall, you should visit there.
The buildings and the high rises around the mall look entire different than before.
The food court is nice with good seating environment. The food court has many different choices for all.
The plaza outside the mall is a really nice spot especially in summer. They offered free concerts last year.
Many restaurants are in the plaza. The younger people like it for sure. Check it out in warm days.
The live music concerts are back on July 6, 2024. It will not last for long. Please check their website.

Wow, it looks like something from Singapore or some other amazing city. Truly a spectacle. Nothing of the old Brentwood Town Hall from the south is recognizable. You just see amazing...... They even have a elevated Ecar dealership. The food court is spectacular, very modern and sleek. Upscale dining choices and comfortable seating. Everyone will be impressed. As you walk through to the old original section it was nice that they keep the old roofing as it is like the sails at Canada Place and the cast iron supports are timeless. However all the shops look 60's very tired and sad. There are in a neighbourhood of 50% vacant spaces right now. It'll be interesting to see how they modernize it.

Went there for lunch. First time there since they renovated the mall years ago. The newer part of the mall looks great but the older area needs more stores. 5 stars for the food court.

"Brentwood is a relatively new shopping center, with most stores still empty. It's not great for shopping, but it's good for dining, outdoor activities, and visiting cafes. It’s conveniently located next to a SkyTrain station for easy access."

I love Brentwood Plaza so much! It has everything you need—VIP movies, entertainment, excellent restaurants, and great coffee shops, all in a modern and vibrant atmosphere. It’s the best area I’ve ever lived in!
