I tried the Tora Latte at Trees Coffee for the first time, and it was fantastic! The flavor was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced—definitely a unique twist on the traditional latte. The coffee shop itself has a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I’ll definitely be coming back to enjoy this drink again!

Visiting Canada from England. My husband and I had an amazing time at Al Porto with amazing food. Wait staff were really attentive and friendly. The restaurant is located down a little road in central Vancouver. Have been to Italy several times and the pasta here is like something you would get anywhere in Italy. Would highly recommend and would definitely return.

Loved 2/3 things we ordered and I’m an incredibly picky eater. The salad and chicken were incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had. Pizza was just ok (in my opinion, I think my friend enjoyed it more), the staff (especially our waiter, Silva/Sixto) were friendly, and kind, making sure each part of the meal felt like a full fine dining experience. I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the Gastown area.

We visited with a party of seven, including two kids, and made a reservation for weekday lunch. The restaurant efficiently seated us upon arrival, and the server/waitress was exceptionally kind. Opting for the lunch special, we were delighted with the fantastic offering that included a Caesar salad and soup and a choice of pasta/risotto or pizza. Every dish tasted amazing, and the entire family wanted to visit again. Worth the experience.

Really wasn’t impressed by this place, where we were declined the entry during an other of our work trip in Vancouver.
This time they did let us in, it was around 16h-17h, so the place was empty, we were the only client and let me tell you this place was dirty. The top of each window was full of thick dust. They placed us all the way in the back of the restaurant next to a window in a room, it was freezing so they had that little heater that wasn’t working next to our table. The place was dusty in general, too bad because the place is really cute, also wasn’t impress at all by the food, I don’t know if it’s because my family is Italian and I get to eat good authentic Italian food at home that I am more picky but it was nothing special.

Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant: A Must-Visit Destination!
Skip the $20 Observatory Deck fee by dining at this spectacular rotating restaurant instead – the elevator ride is complimentary with your meal. While the 40-story glass elevator ascent was a bit nerve-wracking, the panoramic views at the top made it worthwhile. We timed our visit during Happy Hour, making the experience more budget-friendly. For two people, our total bill came to $100.
The views are absolutely breathtaking! Our server Luke provided exceptional service, and the food was outstanding. The restaurant thoughtfully acknowledged our anniversary with a complimentary card and dessert. The atmosphere is wonderfully relaxing, and the restaurant's gentle rotation offers stunning views of the entire city.
Highly recommend this Vancouver dining experience!

We went for the New Years Eve dinner with a special fixed menu. The 360 view was fantastic, the food was good, the staff was very friendly and attentive. The hired DJ which musical couvert fee we had to pay in advance, was playing too loud music and we could not even talk well at our table. The building parking was closed due to construction, and we had to park at an open parking lot on Water Street. We were lucky that it was not raining! The restaurant interior was well maintained and great Christmas decoration!

Skip the tickets of Vancouver Lookout by visiting this Top Of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant during Happy Hour in Winter. The discounted dining Mon-Sun 3pm-5pm is the perfect match when the sunset is around 4:30pm so both day & night view can be seen together.
Here is definitely the highest rotating restaurant in Vancouver, with nothing compatible & the scenery is of course breathtaking.
Number 1 tourist attraction in CBD.
CAD12 for the lobster soup was actually inexpensive because a calm chowder soup at Granville Island had a similar price tag.
Tips are not compulsory for small groups so the price on the menu can be final, without mandatory surcharges, different from USA.

Got surprised and was taken to this restaurant as a congratulations on my new job and got wined and dinned. The food was so good I almost licked my plate when I finished it. The service was fast and super friendly. Water glasses were always filled. The dessert was super delicious, we had the lava cake and creme brûlée. I was shocked by the breath taking view of the city and couldn’t stop smiling the entire time I was there.

Dining at the Top of Vancouver Revolving Restaurant is truly a one-of-a-kind experience. The breathtaking 360-degree views of Vancouver at night are absolutely worth the visit. Watching the city lights twinkle below as the restaurant slowly revolves is magical and makes for a memorable evening.
As for the food, I’d say it’s good but slightly overpriced for what you get. That said, some dishes do stand out— I had the duck, and it was excellent, cooked perfectly with great flavor. The beef carpaccio, on the other hand, was just okay and didn’t quite match the level of the duck.
While the food may not blow you away, the atmosphere and views more than make up for it. I’d recommend this spot for special occasions or anyone looking to enjoy Vancouver’s beauty from above. Just be prepared to pay a bit of a premium for the overall experience!

Cozy little place. Food was amazing! 😍 We had tacos pastor and carnitas. Both were incredible. We nodded while eating the first taco, a sign of food that completely hits the spot. Had the jalapeno marg (okay, two) -- so good. Wish I lived here so I could visit all the time. Thanks for the great tacos and drinks!

I came back to La Taqueria on Hastings and tried the Carne Asada Chicken Bowl, and it did not disappoint! It’s a delicious, great-value dish with a perfect combination of rice, beans, avocado, AAA beef, pico de gallo, and crema. Every bite was packed with flavor, and adding a touch of hot sauce gave it a great kick. This is gonna be one of my go-to bowls with my Mexican food craving.
I also had the Shrimp Taco, which was fantastic. The soft shell taco wrap was a winner which has the corn flavour, and the sauce on the marinated fried shrimp had a smoky, barbecue-like taste that complemented beautifully. The cheddar cheese was a bit salty for my taste, and I think Monterey Jack might make it even better, but overall, it was still a delicious taco and having the same cheese is not gonna bother me at all. Closed the appetite with an order of churros which was crispy and soft in the inside with a custard sauce on the side. I left happy from this place. Service was great. I’ll definitely keep coming back!

Every time I visit La Taqueria Pinche on Hastings, I can't help but feel so satisfied—there's just something about their tacos that hits the spot. The flavours, the texture of the shell, and the spicy sauce too…. I've been here many times and always go for the same 3-taco combo. My favorites? The chicken, shrimp, beef, and fish tacos—each one is packed with flavor. I usually pair them with a lager or a margarita, and it’s always the perfect match.
They offer a great deal at $15.99 for 3 tacos during weekday lunch, and their happy hour from 2-5* makes it tempting to stop by. The vibe is bar hip and urban, which adds to the overall experience.
I’ll definitely keep coming back whenever I'm craving tacos—it’s easily one of my top picks for the best tacos in Vancouver.

A small but mighty taco restaurant that focuses on quality food and service rather than vibes. The price was fair for the food, and the server was friendly enough. We got the tortilla soup, the 3 taco combos consisting of Baja, Carnitas, and Asada, and the chilaquiles. They were all fantastic and would recommend without hesitation.
We finished off the meal with the churros which were hot and fresh out of the fryer. My only comment is that there isn't enough churros but that's probably a good thing for my health.
Overall, if you're walking along Hastings, this is a place you have to check out!

While in vancouver for a concert, we decided to arrive early and find some dinner near the venue. We wandered and found this little place! We were hesitant at first but SO glad we stopped to eat. We got nachos, and tacos- The Pastor and Asada. Amazing! Everything tasted great, service was fast and everyone was so friendly!

I was just walking downtown on my way to a museum when I stumbled across a sign saying Birria Ramen so I had to try it out. I got the birria ramen which was quite good and the churros were great too.
Small restaurant, a little crammed.

Went here for their Versailles themed high tea. I find most high teas to be lacking in value for price but Five Sails truly impressed me.
We sat along the giant window overlooking coal harbour and the sea plane area. Even without a window seat though, it is easy to see the view.
The service was excellent and thoughtful. There were even waiters dressed up in the Rococo fashions true to style of the Louis XIV court.
The food was delightful and satisfying. I especially enjoyed all their savory items.
We were out to celebrate my birthday, and to my surprise they brought out a couple little birthday treats: a whimsical cotton candy that resembled the hair-do of Marie Antoinette and another dessert, which made the occasion extra special.
I look forward to returning for dinner or another special menu.

This is one of the best high tea experiences we’ve ever had. It feels on par with the Empress high tea. While the Empress offers a more traditional approach, this one stands out with its modern twist. I love how they keep it seasonal. The Fall-themed high tea we had today was delightful. The service was excellent, polite, attentive, and thoughtful. And the view? Absolutely unbeatable. It wasn’t very busy during Sunday lunchtime, but I highly recommend making a reservation to snag a table with a view. A truly memorable experience!

We visited Five Sails to celebrate my husband's birthday with his parents. The restaurant offers an elegant atmosphere that feels like an escape from the ordinary. The sophisticated interior design and the stunning view of the North Shore's sea and mountains from our seats added to the extraordinary experience.
The staff provided courteous and professional service, answering all our questions about drinks and dishes with expertise and sharing knowledge that enhanced our dining experience. We were able to order with the perfect balance and portion sizes. The sommelier's recommended wine pairings were impeccable, complementing the dishes wonderfully. My husband and father-in-law especially enjoyed the wines and even ordered additional bottles, thoroughly satisfied. The attentive service felt akin to a luxury hotel stay, yet each staff member was warm and friendly.
I always order my favorite dessert, the apple-shaped treat. The presentation is beautiful, and the balance of sweet and tart flavors is unique, making it delightful even when I'm already full.
The prices are certainly on the higher side, but given the quality, they feel fully justified. Five Sails is a place that makes special occasions even more memorable. Every visit is a truly enjoyable experience, thanks to the perfect combination of atmosphere, service, and cuisine. I highly recommend it to friends and family visiting Vancouver, and I look forward to our next visit for another wonderful experience.

I have never heard of Five Sails Restaurant before. This place was recommended by a friend. We went for high tea here. I normally try to avoid high tea as I don't find the food very exciting. HOWEVER! This was a very memorable experience from the time I got seated to the very end. Jesse, attended our table. He provided excellent, excellent, service. He was so attentive and detailed throughout our time there. Even though we went for high tea, he gave us fine dining treatment! For example, when we stepped away from our seat, he re-folded our table napkins neatly. For me, these things catches my attention. He was friendly, funny, yet professional. Ask to be in his section! Jason, the GM, came over to greet our table as well. He was dressed in a themed attire for the high tea. We were also greeted by Alex, the culinary chef. He won gold in a culinary competition, and I am not surprised after tasting the high tea menu.
This month's high tea theme is Versailles. From the menu, center piece, gold flaked pillars, and having the GM in the attire of that time was so fitting for the theme. The food! So detailed and pretty! I really didn't want to eat certain things!
I do recommend to try the high tea here.
After this experience, I will go back and try their dinner menu.

Do you like meat? This place does! The food menu isn’t huge but everything on it is tempting. The drinks menu however is extensive, living up to their name. The scotch egg and the tots are both musts—so delicious, and where else can you get a perfect scotch egg? I thoroughly enjoyed the freshness and lightness of the crispy portobello burger, which was not too spicy. The others in my group had burgers, and they are thick and juicy! The Pourhouse burger is celebrated in reviews, and by our waitress; we found the first half is amazing but by the second half it’s bringing on the meat-sweats. You also shouldn’t pass up the crispy chicken starter/snack. The fries are really good, but honestly, swap them out for the salads—they were exceptional! The atmosphere is chill and very Vancouver, and we loved watching the kitchen from where we were seated. Our server Maddy was amazing—helpful, attentive, funny, and down to earth and enjoyed our banter. I would totally recommend.

Pretty nice vibes here albeit a bit expensive. Hence why I’d suggest happy hour. It’s a decent deal and there’s some items you can’t really get at other places like a scotch egg. Was my first time trying one and I loved it. The tots were super yummy too. Service was great so I can’t complain but I definitely could if I didn’t go at happy hour. Prices seemed a bit steep for what you get.

Solid, well made food. Highly recommend their perfectly cooked scotch egg which was seasoned just right and the egg yolk was nice and runny. The Pourhouse burger was juicy and delicious as well, we liked how the center was just mildly medium rare which made the burger juicier. The beef tartare tasted fresh and the black garlic Caesar salad has great flavour. The fries tasted like Wendy’s fries but could have been crisper. A great meal.
Munchica - 5 months ago
The waitress took into account my wife's allergies, and they were very careful with that. The food was delicious, we ordered the steak with fries, the salad and the truffle tots. It is a great and cozy place to enjoy a wine or a beer. The only thing that could be improved is the fries. For everything else, a 10.

If you're a hot chocolate lover, do not waste a minute after you read this review. Grab their DRINKING CHOCOLATE. It is out of the world. We were in Vancouver for a week and we visited this cafe 5 times. It was so rich and good. I also tried their almond croissant, it was soft and fresh, and a little too sweet. Their service is incredible too, and they're open from 7.30am, and have free Wi-Fi. So you can also choose to work from there. It's an amazing, cute cafe! DO NOT MISS THE drinking chocolate. Yummm!

Staff is great and so was my mocha! I hope they add a lot more vegan options because right now it’s just one. The chocolate quality was superb though. If you have no restrictions, you’ll enjoy the chocolate choices.

I was here yesterday and tried a milk chocolate mocha. Well, it’s the next day and I’m back as this is the smoothest and best tasting mocha I have ever had. I let the barista know and she said it’s because they use a chocolate ganache and it’s made fresh each day. My simple last words are that this mocha and cafe are now on my permanent downtown Vancouver radar. (Also awesome location with a beautiful courtyard patio public space right out front)

Mink Chocolates Cafe is located in a great location right near the waterfront. They serve a variety of chocolate beverages as well as they have chocolates for purchase. It took a while for me to order my drink because the ladies in front of me were picking eating chocolates and there was only one man working behind the counter. I ordered the iced chocolate and sat outside to drink it. The iced chocolate was very average, more milk than chocolate. It was more of a milk shake than an iced chocolate and it was quite disappointing. There are seatings both within and outside of the cafe.

A wonderful dinner here last night. Hubby and I shared a pitcher of Grand Margaritas and they are delicious. The pitcher gives two people roughly two drinks each. I had the Korean Chicken tacos which were delicious and very filling. The fries it came with were really nice, the gravy was also delicious. Hubby had the jambalaya and it was full of flavour and very filling. The service was friendly and very efficient. Would definitely recommend.

I love this restaurant 😍 it's in this beautiful historic waterfront building .... the atmosphere here pops just by being in this historic building and layout its elegant/ historic/ trendy /comfortable .....they got a upstairs area that can be reserved for a big gatherings event types etc ..... lots of seating areas with comfortable booths....outside seating .....bar with tvs ......the food quality/verity is amazing .....the food portions are small to medium ish was hoping for bigger portions like Boston pizza type but overall I enjoy it here ...I would come back here ....my favorite so far is sweet chili cauliflower it's sooooo goooood ......thier is pay parking next to it and public transportation here at waterfront station ....its very popular here its got more of a trendy boogie adult vibe here .....I wish the sweet chili cauliflower was a dinner meal size then just a appetizer size lol it's that good .....staff are good service here....I added menu Pictures in post

Went around lunch time, busy but seated quickly. Cool atmosphere and vibe. Servers very friendly. Seems like a popular place for take out and very visible at a touristy corner. Had the yummy yummy roll and it was definitely yummy along with the adegashi tofu which were large pieces and tasty. Sauce on it though was a bit gelatinous other than that worth the trip!

I’m reviewing this restaurant as a sushi novest. That being said, I felt super satisfied with the food, portions, and service! The waiter was super nice and gave us recommendations. Paying for food that you’re left satisfied with is such a great feeling :). Definitely worth the try if you’re in gastown area.

Let's get one thing straight: Momo Sushi isn't just a restaurant; it's a pilgrimage site for sushi connoisseurs. The moment you step through the door, you're transported to a serene oasis of soy sauce and wasabi.
Our gracious host, Sunny, welcomed us with a smile that could melt even the coldest heart of a sushi hater (if such a creature exists). She guided us to a cozy corner, perfect for indulging in our impending seafood feast.
The miso soup was a warm hug on a cold day, and the salad was a crisp, refreshing prelude to the main event. But let's talk about the star of the show: the Box D. Packed with succulent beef and other delectable delights, it was a symphony of flavors in every bite. The nigiri and sashimi were so fresh, they seemed to be waving hello from the ocean.
In conclusion, Momo Sushi is not just a restaurant; it's an experience. It's a place where you can savor every bite, knowing that you're indulging in culinary perfection. And if you're lucky, you might even get a high-five from the sushi chef.
So, what are you waiting for? Get your chopsticks ready and prepare to have your taste buds tantalized.

What a good value for good food! Highly recommend!! The sashimi was fresh and very thick slices. 6 people devoured 2 orders of the deluxe Sashimi plate and 1 spider roll and 1 gangster roll.
The store is on a slope so you travel down stairs inside the store. It’s pretty unique and well decorated.
Right next to Gastown. I didn’t see parking since we walked here

Can’t fault this place! Food is great and very reasonably priced with generous portions. Service was good as well. It is located in Gastown and unfortunately if you’re walking around here you will encounter many homeless and see some interesting sights. Not the best place for a family but if you’re from Vancouver, this is nothing new for you. Come and try this restaurant for yourself :)
