4 Star Rating We had dinner on New Year's Eve here.the restaurant was extremely busy. While the food and service were decent, they didn’t quite meet the expectations set by the reviews I had read beforehand. The semolina flatbread starter was too salty for my taste, though the steak was enjoyable. My husband felt that while the individual components of his main dish were good, they didn’t come together as a cohesive dish. Given how busy it was, the servers didn’t check on our table as frequently, which may have been understandable under the circumstances. Overall, for a New Year's Eve reservation, we were hoping for something a bit more special. We also chose not to order any dessert.

5 Star Rating This has been a staple in Vancouver and a solid dining spot for years. I came here recently to try their set menu that was around in the summer and it did not disappoint. For the price point you get quite a lot of food and a great dining experience. They deliver on the food, it’s properly cooked and flavoured, the service is top notch, and their cocktails are delicious. Will definitely look forward to another visit in the future.

5 Star Rating Recently enjoyed the Sunday brunch with a few friends. The DIY mimosas were a big hit; the orange juice was super fresh and delicious. Mussels are definitely one of their best dishes. I had a dairy free fricassée and it was absolutely top notch. No bad dishes on the menu, and they have among the best wine menus in the city. Special occasion, or just a quick light meal. You can’t go wrong here.

4 Star Rating Came for the summer series three course tasting menu and between three of us we sampled all six of the options. To start the confit albacore tuna with peach salad was artfully presented but nothing special taste-wise. If I had paid $27 for this dish off the regular menu I would have been disappointed. The grilled radicchio and fennel salad on the other hand was quite impactful and fully enjoyed. The pan seared Arctic Char with salt cod brandade main course was excellent and the highlight of the meal. Presentation was picture perfect and the good sized portion of fish was perfectly cooked. The brandade was delicious and something I had never tasted before. My son had the game hen three ways and wasn't impressed, finding the portion to be too small and the hen to be on the dry side. The chocolate burnt basque cheesecake and BC berry pavlova for dessert were both very good and again very nicely presented. Overall the dinner was very good and very good value for the $49 price.

5 Star Rating It's my first time at any Moxies . First impressions are great. Clean nice setup. Customer service was excellent both times. Food proportion is worth the price. The flavors all blend perfectly. Well done to the chef's. Great tasting coffee. I loved the little creamer they give you with your coffee. Loved the setup.

5 Star Rating This was our first visit to Vancouver! Before we arrived I made a reservation at Moxies for lunch. Little did I know the absolute pleasantries to follow! Our servers name was Dawson and he was a spectacular delight! While the food here was amazing, the true star of this establishment is Dawson. Knowledgeable, helpful, kind and SO fun! Come for the drinks, stay for Dawson! ♥️

Nice atmosphere and window views, wonderful service from Kurtis, menu has a great selection of food, the burgers are really good, as well as the prawn laksa curry and chipotle mango chicken, some nice gluten free options! I hope one day they can have a gluten conscious option for the Chicken Madeira Rigatoni because it’s the best pasta of all time. They also have happy hour on a Friday night! Can’t wait to come back!

5 Star Rating A casual Italian restaurant - great for groups and a cosy dinner. We came for a birthday party, and we were pleasantly surprised by the food and experience. Everything was decent - well portioned and reasonably priced, especially for downtown. We'd all come back. Great for large groups and nice family dinners for all ages.

4 Star Rating Overall a really great experience. The food was a bit pricy for the quantity. And the quantity also seemed a bit less. Although the size the dishes were very filling. The service was amazing 👏 and our server was so kind. The ambience was pretty nice as the restaurant itself is part of a 5 star hotel but it was a tiny bit too dim. Would definitely recommend as an Italian restaurant with family. 👍

5 Star Rating Love Frankie’s!!! We desperately needed an escape from the USA for a minute and when we called to make reservations and made jokes about *gestures broadly* they not only laughed commiseratively with us, they made us feel extra welcomed and comfortable when we arrived. They saved a cozy booth table for my BF and I, checked often, and AND, have vegan options! We had the vegan spaghetti bolognese and it was incredible. My BF finished his before I got through a third of mine! Strongly recommend this Frankie’s for their class, kindness, delicious food, and elegant warming atmosphere. 5 Star Rating Looks like a hidden gem close to the train station Stadium-Chinatown! We saw the line up close by for the other restaurant for brunch and decided to skip it. The Dirty Apron was quiet, no cooking class going on, but the café side had a few customers. We ordered the BLT and the breakfast sandwich with smoked salmon, both were fantastic! Balanced, simple but freshly made with quality ingredients. I loved the little touch of lemon zest on the cheese cream, pairs perfectly with the smoked salmon, crunchy red onion, runny egg and creamy avocado. Prices are fair for the sandwiches. Grocery and frozen items seem to be fancy, on the more expensive side. I wish for a combo or bigger meal. We saw they have a delicatessen at the airport!

5 Star Rating Probably the most tasty and hence one of the best food we had in our entire 4 weeks in Canada! We had the Ancho Chili Roast Beef vegetarian (you have to try this!), the grilled Hummus & Avocado Sandwich, the Japanese Potato Salad (day offer. great taste!), a smoothie, cappuccino, tea and coffee. The service and staff was so nice and were looking greatly after us. This place has a cooking class too next door and also it offers self-made food (in the fridge) and some other food items you can purchase. Prices were very fair and we will definitely recommend anyone coming to Vancouver to eat here and enjoy!

5 Star Rating It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it for a special occasion. The experience is both educational and delicious. I preferred it when it was more intimate during COVID, but the long table setup works well too. I've enjoyed most of the fish classes, as our family follows a pescatarian diet. I wish there were more classes focusing exclusively on fish, but I hope they add more in the future. Overall, it's a great experience, and I'm looking forward to more classes.

5 Star Rating Some of the best sushi available at a great price point. They have really good specials for dine-in and also 10% off for take out and online orders. I have dined in and ordered out, and received the same quality each time. The rice is flavoured well, the spicy sushi options have amazing flavour and sauces combind with the fish, and the special rolls are delicious as well. The salmon sushi is sockeye, so don't expect anything too fatty!

I love their spider roll. big size of soft shell crab. food taste is very tasty, Once again, I think this is one of the best sushi places in Vancouver, very highly recommended. 4 Star Rating We were in the area before a concert at Roger's arena and hesitated to go in because, from the outside, it didn't look very promising. We had read the good reviews and went in anyway. The place is small but the atmosphere inside is cozy. We ordered a few different rolls, which were all nicely presented and fresh. 5 Star Rating I’ve been eating pretty regularly at this location for a while now. The pizzas great and everyone is always super friendly. The other day however, a worker I recognized named Shub took my order and when I asked for sauce he asked my name. Without me asking or anything, he writes my name on the pizza in sauce, and even put a little crown. I tried to tip him $5, but he took it out of the tip jar and told me that my business was enough. So excellent service, excellent food, you can definitely expect me to be coming back a lot. Thank you Shub!

5 Star Rating The first time I stopped by this location after work, it was just because I was super hungry for a slice- and now, I stop by every single time specifically because it’s such an absolute pleasure!🫶🏼 I finish work at odd hours in hospitality, and no matter the hour- the pizza is hot and fresh. The SERVICE is unparalleled, every staff member has always been nothing short of exceptional- so friendly, so helpful, and (clearly) going the extra mile, even just for a slice❤️ normally I’d take a slice away to eat- but this is the only place I actually enjoy taking a load off and sitting down for a while. The atmosphere is great, awesome music, great staff, super clean and pleasant. I highly recommend anyone in the area to make this location your go-to for pizza! 🍕 🙏🏼🙌🏼

It wasn't busy upon arrival, but quickly filled up, so I do recommend reservations. Atmosphere was both cozy and intimate. Service was extremely friendly. They took the time to explain the menu and make some recommendations on the portion sizes. Dishes are meant to be shared, so it's best to order several dishes. Food and flavors were amazing. 5 Star Rating Cozy dim atmosphere. We sat in the “lounge” section and it was a comfy spot. We were three people and we ordered just enough to fill our tummies. Labneh & Honey Man’oushe was delicious and easy to eat. Sort of like a pizza. Like all the things we tasted tonight: tasty. Chicken Shish Tawook was good but not as yummy as the Lamb Kafta. We all agreed the lamb was superb. Najib’s Special was done very nicely. We didn’t all agree and one of us didn’t think it was that special. The Feast of Dips was amazing. Each dip had its own flavour and was so interesting. I kept going around the circle of dips and being excited to return! My favourite was the Mama Dallou’ah. Excellent food. Cozy surroundings. 5 Star Rating I had such a wonderful experience here! The Bun was delightful, soft and freshly baked, topped with just the right touch of Nutella, and paired with fresh banana slices. The coffee was rich and aromatic, a perfect match for the dessert. The cozy atmosphere and friendly staff made my visit even more enjoyable. Can’t wait to come back and try more from their menu!

4 Star Rating If you’re looking for a healthy and light breakfast or brunch but don’t feel like cooking, this is a great spot to consider. The food is pre-made, which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars — I prefer meals prepared fresh upon ordering. However, it’s still a solid option in the area, and I might return for another quick meal solution.

5 Star Rating recently visited there, and I was absolutely blown away! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The coffee is top-notch – rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. I also had the chicken pesto, which was delicious and perfectly crafted. The staff is friendly and attentive, always going the extra mile to make you feel at home. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great coffee, amazing food, and a warm vibe. Will definitely be back soon!
