My top sushi place ever, all my friends and family loves it as well. The prices have risen over the years , but the quality is still very good. The sizes of the sushi and fish is super generous. I also order takeout and it’s cash only. My go to rolls are: salmon roll, spicy salmon roll, chopped scallop roll (spicy option as well), unagi roll and the BEST thing on the menu is the SPICY SALMON SASHIMI!!!

This said to be the sister sushi place in Fraser road, so we came and found out that it had similar setup as a take-out kitchen .
No hot tea for dine in , we sat on high bench table and no air conditioning too. The tuna don was only served on plastic bowl and the sushi rice was not hot enough.
The deluxe sushi combo with tamago was good though, the rolls were average and not described giant enough.

Came to this place by chance. It's a small restaurant tucked away in a small commercial building surrounded by a lot of constructions.
The food was good and it's definitely worth every penny. The portions were big, something I did not expected.
Service was good, there are a few sitting spots so it's better to order for pickup.
Atmosphere is nothing to be amazed by. Just a small dinner with good food.
Recommended for a quick visit to pickup and eat elsewhere.

Came here to order at dinner time without calling in. Need to wait 5-10mins because many people came at the same time, and they got busy. You can order by phone in advance and pick up with discount. Great sushi rolls, and fresh sashimi with big portion.

After years of coming here when we're in town, we were disappointed with the smaller portions and the addition of what appears to be mayo in the otherwise vegan vegetable roll. The fish isn't as fresh and flavorful as I recall either. We might come back again someday, but it's definitely no longer towards the top of our list for takeout. They only take cash!

I recently enjoyed a meal at Freshslice Pizza in Vancouver and was thoroughly impressed. The pizza had a perfect balance of crispy yet chewy crust and flavorful toppings. The veg and meat pizza was particularly delicious. The staff was welcoming and friendly, enhancing the dining experience. With excellent deals and consistent quality, Freshslice offers great value for money. It's a perfect spot for a quick bite or a late-night snack. Highly recommended!

Just ordered 4 pizzas on uber eats, I made a mistake asking for Alfredo sauce on my cheese pizza and within 2 minutes got a call back from the store telling me that there is no Alfredo sauce, but had an different white sauce and corrected me which I really liked and would recommend getting for anyone who doesn’t like normal pizza sauce. Pizzas arrived hot and fresh loaded with toppings, it was very tasty and satisfied our cravings. Would definitely go back again.

I recently visited Ash Street Bistro, located within the senior living community, and had a wonderful experience. The bistro offers a relaxing and calming environment, perfect for enjoying a quiet meal. I ordered a breakfast plate consisting of sausages, scrambled eggs, hash browns, and toast. The meal was well-prepared and satisfying, with everything cooked to perfection. The sausages were flavorful, the eggs fluffy, and the hash browns crispy. The toast added a nice touch to the meal.
What stood out the most was the peaceful ambiance of the bistro, which made for a pleasant and refreshing dining experience. The staff was attentive and welcoming, adding to the positive atmosphere. I would recommend Ash Street Bistro to anyone looking for a good meal in a tranquil setting.
Feel free to adjust based on your experience!

The food was a little disappointing in that my Reuben was really salty. However, this was served so hot that I burned the roof of my mouth when biting into it. A concern I’ve got here is that this is located with a senior residence area - this is a hazard to be served at this temperature for them let alone me. 😐 Yikes!
My salad was pretty good and had a nice selection of strawberries and veggies on it. The dressing was a little too much but left the excess in the plate.
Service was mixed. I clearly didn’t fit their “standard” customer so was largely left to my own devices. For my bill I had to get up and ask for it because while I kept getting eye contact and nods when I raised my hand for assistance, no one came - that was strange and awkward. 😬
Not a place I’d come back to personally. The food wasn’t anything to write home about and the service mixed. Atmosphere was also not my usual but it also seemed this place doesn’t get a lot of clients that aren’t part of the senior home or visitors to folks living here.

I haven't been here in a while, but the food and service are still excellent. I especially love the new menu, and the Scallop broth is perfect for a rainy day.

The food at the Ash Street Bistro is amazing! We were looking for a restaurant close to where. We were glad we found this spot as the food was spectacular. We will definitely go out of our way to get back the next time when we are in Vancouver. The staff went out of their way to prepare a safe, beautiful, delicious GF meal for the Celiac among us. That was extra special given that they did not have advanced warning! I would give an extra 5 stars for that alone.

The absolute Best Banh Mi… at Bonjour Banh Mi!
From just the right crunch, to how soft the bun is after the initial crunch, to how fresh the veggies are to how flavourful the pate is - what do they use to formulate this almost magical sauce??!!
To top it all off, all their staff are courteous, friendly and quick!!
This is a bit of a hidden gem as their shop is set back a bit from Cambie but y’all not gonna regret patronizing this cute and clean li’l shop. My favourite is their #2 grilled pork, but if I’m really hungry, I’d also add one of their light, refreshing salad rolls! YUMS!!

The banh mi sandwiches here are so close to the ones I had in Ho Chi Minh City. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a try today and I was not disappointed!
The grilled pork banh mi was delicious and had a good amount of pate and meat. It was spicy and had a great taste!
I also ordered the daily soup, it was with vegetables and beef and the meat was very tender.
Definitely one of the top places in Vancouver for good tasting Vietnamese Banh Mi. Will come back again.

Their salad rolls are fresh and delicious, definitely some of the best I’ve had. At $7.50 for two rolls, it’s a great price for the quality. The soup is also very comforting, perfect for a cozy meal. It’s a lovely spot for tasty, authentic Vietnamese food. Highly recommend.

Meatball banh mi was excellent! Very juicy and flavorful and filled with ingredients. Bun was toasted but not overly hard (aka won’t hurt the roof of your mouth). They did forget my note about no cilantro but oh well.
Lemon grass chicken was underwhelming with not a lot of chicken or rice. Definitely did not worth $16 (ordered on door dash)
