This might just be the worst White Spot we dined in. Came in for lunch on a not so busy weekday. Waited half an hour to be seated while there were plenty of tables available. What's even worse was that the hostess seated someone just walked in (also a table for 2) before us. Made the complain, didn't actual receive an apology other than "oh~ I messed up". Waited for another 10mins or so to be seated. Finally ordered, got a dish of fettuccine swimming in soup (not sauce) and sad tasteless kid's burger. Only positive comment would be for our server. He was super friendly.

I’m not from Vancouver and I’m such a fan of this chain. It has the best options and a lot of good ones but not an overwhelming amount. We had a large group and they did a great job accommodating that. The food was 10/10. Service 9/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Speed 10/10. Had a great experience here. Side note: the Spiked Chocolate Espresso Shake drink is amazing, it gives you alcohol, caffeine and it’s cold. It has it all😍

I had a great and friendly server here on New year's Eve. She was very welcoming and had a lot of experience serving. It's refreshing to see when you don't come across good service as much these days. I wish I could remember the servers na. She haf brown pony tail and was really bubbly. If you're looking for good service good food, this place is your spot

This restuarant is different from other dim sum places, the servers go around with carts loaded with dim sum or freshly cooked dishes- but be careful. Usually they will tell you if it is fresh from the wok/steamer, otherwise ask them because i've seen two carts sit there for a straight hour from when I sat down till I left. Be sure to get the items on their special menu, Monday-Friday 10am-2pm. Those items have great value.

This place is the best and Virginia and staff make it even better. If you like crab and you like beans, this is the place to go. Then you afterward you sing karaoke while drinking way to much wine. You will like this place even more.

First time to try Yan's Garden. Heard about it from some people that the owner was the famous chef back in the day who had a cooking show Wok with Yan. Not sure if it's true as I didn't see anything on their website. Nonetheless, we went and tried their dimsum. Food was good and the service was fast.

It has a fun old vibe like dimsum restaurants in Chinatown in Asia back in 1990s, where staff push dim sum carts around and you can pick any plate you want. Their deep fried taro cakes were beautiful and yummy. We enjoyed the Chinese donut and Chinese donut rice rolls. Congee, tofu pudding, shrimp tempura are okayish, not too bad but not good either. While the BBQ pork rice roll was a bit disappointing compared to other rice rolls I've had in Richmond and East Vancouver. I like the staff. Will be back to try dinner, the menu looks attractive.

Good selection of dimsum items. I came alone for a quick lunch in between meetings on a workday. No lines, plenty of parking spots in the plaza parking lot. Service was prompt and efficient. I ordered the shrimp dumplings which were great. I also had the chasiu pastry. These were absolutely delicious. However I made the mistake of ordering clay pot rice. It’s not so good. I couldn’t finish it. So be aware if you want to try this. The toppings aren’t tasty, the rice under cooked! Oh, the Jasmin tea was good. I’ll come back when I’m in the area still. But I’ll stick to dim sums. :D Updated on Jan 16, 2025: the Jasmine tea is as good as I remembered. The dim sums were really good. The service though… it’s a new low. The woman server made me feel i have done something horrible to her. She looked so miserable. However she’s happily chatting away with someone she recognized. To enjoy the food here you really have to put up with the shitty service…. The ladies pushing the food trolleys around were super nice and friendly though. So maybe you need some luck who your server is. :D

I went here on my birthday and was provided a free $14 dollar credit for my grand slam breaky. It was an easy drive and parking lot easily entered off of Austin ave. I really like the atmosphere here and will be back again. There’s an electronic menu at every table that also serves as a wireless charging point for your phone! My server was Rick and he was awesome .

It was very busy. I think it was because IHOP at the mall was closed due to water issues. The staff did their best and we got a table relatively quickly. The server. Rick was very efficient and patient. Overall it was a great experience

I went on a breakfast date with my mom and we both ordered french toast slams. We got the original and berry filled ones with the side of hashbrows and mozzarella sticks. Everything was SPOT ON. Denny’s is our favourite place for breakfast dates and they never disappoint. Our server Eddy was very kind and service was very fast. We would definitely recommend Denny’s!

Showed up at 11:15 PM, place was absolutely bustling! Laughed with the host as we were walked towards a booth in the back listening to stories of Denny’s at 3 AM. Then we were greeted by our server, Hans(?), who was such an awesome dude and made great conversation. I really can’t say much beyond the fact that the vibes were immaculate, service was extremely friendly, and as someone who hasn’t been to Denny’s in over a decade, the food was exactly what we were hoping for at 11:30 PM on a Saturday.

After not visiting Denny’s for over a year, we were happy to find that they still offer a free birthday treat. So, we headed there on a Saturday morning. Judging by the packed parking lot, it’s clear Denny’s remains a popular spot, bustling with customers all enjoying their meals. Our server was lovely and attentive, adding to the warm atmosphere. Although there was a bit of confusion when we arrived, with some customers who arrived after us being seated first, it didn’t affect our mood. According to the official website, the birthday treat includes a Build Your Own Grand Slam, but we overheard from the next table that Denny’s will deduct the equivalent cost if you choose something else from the menu. That’s a thoughtful way to offer flexibility for customers with dietary needs. Our breakfast arrived hot and well-presented, and the buttermilk pancakes were soft and buttery—just the thing to kick off a great birthday morning!

Update :. Thanks to Julia and the owner....wow. Words can't express how I felt so blessed by this location. They really go above and beyond to ensure top notch quality and service!!! The only issue I have is I live kind of far away. I wish I lived closer lol. Sushi California takeout and as always..very good and consistent w all their locations. One of my favourite is the Korean chirasi don...definitely give it a try especially if like bimbimbop.

Pretty decent, I come here often. Easy spot for fresh sushi in my neighborhood. I also really like their selection of veggies they use for tempura, like broccoli and asparagus which aren't usually common. Sashimi pieces are a bit larger than other places.

Food was very good, big pieces of sashimi compared to other places. When I asked for extra ginger they brought a big plate for me. (It did seem like the soy sauce was watered down which seems odd) I would go back for sure though. Lots of different rolls I would like to try. Parking was a bit crazy, small lot not a lot of spaces for all the businesses there so I parked up the street at the 4 hour in front of Vancity. Service was good with kind attentive staff.

Once again, visiting this place has been a pleasure among all others especially in a food court. Though there was a wait to get the coffee since it was getting freshly brewed (which I know from the last couple of years they do fresh brewing all the times)..the gesture and the warm hospitality by the girl at the front named Kanwalpreet is commendable and I can see a sweet smile on her face with each customer she faces. Kudos to her and everyone who work here, staff here is the best. Keep up doing the good work...!

I recently visited an A&W store, and I was really impressed with both the food quality and the customer service. The burger was fresh and packed with flavour, and the fries were perfectly crispy. The staff was friendly and made sure my order was prepared quickly and accurately.

We went last Saturday as part of dine out Vancouver and we were party of seven . Atmosphere was great , seating, life entertainment and friendly staff. We dance a lot on the stage on front of the band and we enjoyed comfortable times. The three course meals options were great, but orders were a little late , may be related to staffing but it was okay. Food itself was great. We enjoyed band and dancing but the sound was a little loud . We like the place and sure we will be back.

Mixed feelings on this one. We went during happy hour for a friend's birthday as a table of four. Even at the peak during our visit, the restaurant was at max, half full, but they did have a large reservation table of about twenty. The food was good, but the service was SLOW. They were clearly short-staffed, as the manager was working behind the bar while we were there, but we had to ask other servers to find our waitress twice and went up to the bar once to order our drinks because we had been waiting for so long. That being said, they apologized profusely and comped us free desserts and did explain that they were short staffed. However, if you're offering a happy hour with one dollar oysters in a nice, reputable restaurant, then you should be prepared. We ordered both off the happy hour menu and the regular menu and there was small tweaks. We would have made to each dish, but overall, a pretty satisfying meal. We will give them another shot to see if the slow service was a one off. If you park in the underground and register you license plate at the hotel desk, parking is free.

I love The WildFig Restaurant. The food are very delish in a reasonable price. The atmosphere is chic and the staff are really friendly especially Gaga. We dined in at the last day of DineOut Vancouver and the food is so worth it. The appetizers are yummy and looks healthy. The main entree is a medium rare striploin which is really good and the desserts are not so sweet which is perfect 👌 Overall, the dining experience is great.

This is our second time visiting Wild Fig and it never changed! Still as good as before. We came back for the $1 oysters during happy hours 4-6pm. Still our favorite. The server, Gaga, was very accommodating and fun. 5 stars for her excellent service! We will definitely be back with our family.

We love the pizza. My kid like to pick his own toppings. Great pizza at a good price, with a wide variety of toppings made from fresh ingredients. Vegan cheese and gluten-free options are available. The staff and service are excellent.

I usually visit the new west locations. For whatever reason Uber eats autoselected this location. I don't much like crust and specifically request for toppings to go to the edge of the dough. New west location had no issue with this instruction. On my receipt delivered with my order I can see printed out my request, yet an inch and a half of crust.... Will make sure we do not order from this location again.

The interior is very nice and there is a lot of table space. I think the unique layout and style of restaurant can confuse people who are used to it but the staff are nice. I was there at a busy time so I had to wait 10 minutes before someone took my order. The menu drinks are cute and the presentation of the meals are very nice. The price is up there so expect to spend when you’re here but the overall atmosphere is nice. It almost feels like a cafe restaurant hybrid. If you’re looking for a different kind of eating experience, this is the place to go.

We visited Egg Bomb on a Tuesday morning and were seated right away, which was a great start to our experience. For drinks, we ordered the pistachio latte and banana cappuccino—both were absolutely delicious. For food, we tried the Fried Chicken Benny and Fighter French Toast, and everything was outstanding. The service was impeccable, with the staff offering excellent recommendations to help navigate their extensive menu. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Korean managed restaurant newly opened. First time i went was a weekday morning. Experience was the best as the young male server recommended drink and food. He came to check out how’s things at right time and i guess not as busy. The next visit was a weekend and i made the right choice to make reservation as there are many people. Restaurants were full of girls servers but they don’t seem very experienced. They forgot to bring me extra sugar that i asked and ask us to get the bill before we were still eating. The price and environment doesn’t seem to be a fast food restaurant so i didn’t expect to rush customers to pay. Went third time Friday noon and servers seem very absent minded 😅 asked for an extra share plate twice when i noticed she simply forgot. That is more management problem as well because the manager asked to do something when the servers were trying to help customers ending up two people doing the same tasks when no one taking care of customers. Tried pistachio latte - a bit pricey with the size of the drink and very sweet Egg sandwich- bread is toast well with soft inside. So as the egg is cooked very well. Just not enough flavour Benny is good and chicken is tendered. I have no complaint with the croffles and price is fair.

First time trying this place. Sounds like it is newly opened. I didn’t have a lot of expectation coming here being my visit was more so out of convenience Quality - the food quality was okay, but not worth the price. Much of my dishes didn’t have much flavour and at that price you just expect a bit more. I would like to come back for brunch as it seems that’s what they are known for more? Service - the staff although was friendly when they did interact with us, I felt that they weren’t as attentive. Especially since it wasn’t that busy during our visit (dinner) The restaurant ambiance was quite nice. Very spacious and futuristic in design

We love to come here to eat since they opened! The food quality has always been excellent! The steak and beef are always very tender. The lamb shank is so juicy and tender, just falls off from the bone. They also give big portions. My kid is very picky with her food but she loves their meat skewers! Highly recommended to everyone! It's the only place where they treat you professionally and very well and respectfully and kindly in a way that you don't feel like you are there just for eating.the prices are always reasonable and clean service as usual. And it's very tasty and they treat everyone wonderful. I've been in different branches of Cazba , but this Cazba Persian grill at Lougheed mall is amazing ,they are really the best and they look after customers very well because they are professional and they know how to do their job they welcome you with kindly and respectfully and treat you with the high quality food . If you go there for eating then you will know how they are friendly to make you a wonderful time.

Super welcoming people! Love the quality of the food! We always go to Lougheed mall to get delicious Persian Food from Cazba! This location specifically serves with high quality! Kabab is really good and the stews are even more delicious and fresh! And the lady at the cashier is so sweetheart! 😍😍
