5 Star Rating Recommend you stop in for a bite here while you explore everything that North Vancouver has to offer. Love the atmosphere and vibe of this cute little corner restaurant. Food was delicious, had the Belt and my friend had the Salmon bagel, service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try their Happy Hour specials as I was tempted by their selection of mimosas and margaritas.

4 Star Rating First time trying this place out. They had a mix of korean fusion brunch. We went with a total of 4 girls each ordered a different drink to try. Most of the lattes were made very well not overly sweet. Service seemed understaffed. The waitress tried to memorize our order . I did remind her maybe to jot it down because we had a lot of different things. Some things were missed or wrong but they did give us a free dessert as an apology, which was nice. Overall the steak bulgogi was really well cooked and I would order it again. The yuzu cronut which was free wasn't worth it, texture was overly hard and didn't have much of a yuzu flavor. Forgot to add a must order is the churros. Soft and warm with a dipping caramel.

5 Star Rating It has been a long time since I have involuntarily said “mmm” while eating a meal…the pulled pork benny may have caused that ;) It was so delicious that I refused to share with my husband. Matcha latte and peppermint mocha were also outstanding. Highly recommend this cute little cafe. Definitely made my day.

5 Star Rating Fishworks is a seafood lover’s paradise! Their Caesar is hands down the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced and absolutely refreshing. The oysters? Unbelievably fresh—delivered to the restaurant while we were eating! You can’t get fresher than that. We ordered the seafood tower, and WOW—it was massive, beautifully presented, and every bite was delicious. From the lobster to the prawns to the crab legs, everything was perfectly prepared. To top it all off, the prices were surprisingly affordable for such top-quality seafood. Strongly, strongly recommended for anyone craving amazing seafood. I’ll be coming back as often as I can! Many, many well-deserved 5 stars! 🌟

5 Star Rating Best restaurant of our entire trip through Canada and Alaska. Stopped here with the family for dinner and had the best oysters we’ve ever tasted. Each dish was delicious and was beyond expectation. Menu was diverse and unique as well as fairly priced. In addition to amazing food, we had some of the best service (especially at the bar with Tom) we ever experienced in a restaurant. We left super satisfied and happy. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience that we all won’t forget. We will be visiting again when we stop in Vancouver.

2 Star Rating Cozy and gentle atmosphere. I really liked the compliment from the restaurant in the form of warm bread and something similar to hummus for it. I recommend the incredibly delicious fried octopus and the sea tower. But the whole impression was spoiled by the unpolite service. When I came at 5 pm I did not have a table reserved, but we were offered to sit for half an hour. After 40 minutes the girl said that the reservation was cancelled and you can be there for an unlimited time - we were delighted. Around 6:10 pm our waiter comes and warns that we must vacate the table at 6:40 pm, but they will save a place at the bar for us. As a result, we were brazenly kicked out around 7:20-7:30 pm and there were no more places at the bar.

5 Star Rating Phenomenal food and service. My husband and I went today for happy hour/dinner and I would go back a million times. From the moment we walked in until we left it was great. Everything I tried was amazing( espresso martini, scallops, grilled octopus, halibut dinner and even the brownie for dessert). My husband had oysters, and a seafood tower. I will be coming back!

4 Star Rating Second time here. Views are amazing here. Get seated “outside” right by the water. We (party of four) got there at around 4:30pm without a reservation. We were seated quickly. Service was excellent for us. Server was very attentive and friendly! To our surprise, there was a HH menu! Food came out very quickly, and that was great, because we were all starving. Only complaint was that the wings were a bit on the dry side for me. Enjoyed our meal while enjoying the sunset! It was a perfect day for us. Can’t wait to go back again!

5 Star Rating This was my wife and I first time there. We did have a reservation sometime ago but had to cancel. The service was good and the food was great. They sat us by a window to see the amazing view. We had the Fried Cod and Chips and an order of prawns. The prawns were delicious and the cod and fries were cooked well. All and all the atmosphere is a lil quiet needs some music 🎶 but otherwise very nice place to eat and enjoy a beautiful view.

5 Star Rating My husband and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at Pier 7 on November 10. We couldn’t have been happier with the restaurant - the view was amazing, the food was spectacular, and most of all the service was just top notch - shout out to the manager, Eddie, and the two lovely servers who took care of us on our special day, Nina and Erica( I could be wrong with the second name, I’m sorry for that. you both were so lovely) The communication with Eddie was just amazing, he was very helpful throughout the week leading up to our wedding. On the day itself he was there making sure we are looked after. The food - my guests were very very happy and full after the wedding. We couldn’t be more happier and words cannot express how grateful we are for the team (and not to forget to mention the amazing kitchen/BOH) for giving us such a wonderful memory to look back at to. I wish we had photos of the food to add to the review. But we were so busy with our guests.

4 Star Rating I don’t know how I feel about some of the drinks, they are definitely different but absolutely worth a try! Food wasn’t the best but it was such a fun place to hang out and have cocktails. I’m a little bit upset because on the menu beans and rice costed $4 but my receipt showed $5 so I asked our server and she just said “yeah it’s extra so that’s the price”. I didn’t want to argue with her so I just paid but I was expecting more customer service. Yeah it’s only a buck but it’s kinda false advertising and if I was drunk I wouldn’t have noticed I was mid-charged.

5 Star Rating At was our first time at Raglan’s Bistro & their colourful patio & sign 🪧 caught our eye. We were so happy that their patio was open & they turned on the heater for us & our pup. I ordered the piña colada 🍍 🥥 🍹 & huevos rancheros with a side of summer sausage. While my husband ordered a burger & she staff accommodated his request to make the order vegan. The food came out quickly & was HOT. 🍽️ the summer sausage caught my eye as soon as the staff brought it out: it was colourful & looked juicy. And after taking a bite: I knew it wasn’t just store-bought/ a ready to cook sausage. It juicy & burst with flavour with each bite, & was so good that I had to ask if it was house-made or a specialty order. One of the staff said it was indeed house-made & took lots of recipe-tweaking. My cocktail was refreshing after finishing up a walk around Mahon Park & felt like I was in a tropical country. 🌴 And my cast iron plate of huevos rancheros was filling, scrumptious & definitely made our stroll worth it. My husband was happy with a full belly with his burger. 🍔 Highly recommend Raglan’s for their friendly staff, colourful & heated patio, & yummy food. 💯

3 Star Rating We were excited to come dine here. Having grown up with German food on a weekly basis and a friend from Germany we booked a reservation. The four of us were excited knowing we had a time limit so we thought they'd be expeditious with good service. The Gentleman at the front greeting those with reservations warmly and informing those without would have to come back around 8 / 8:30. As an analyst I picked up on the mildly passive aggressive tonality of his voice. Politely but loudly letting an elderly Asian female customer know that Face masks are not needed at this establishment and having to repeat it thrice before the lady realized she shouldn't wear her face mask. She looked confused and a bit hurt by his sharp words that were delivered in a loud smile.... that exchange did leave me a wee bit on edge. I began to wonder what was next. Besides, we were already seated and had begun ordering. Very much happy with our table service while I was listening to the gentleman at the front guiding people in. The regulars were greeted with friendly banter of familiarity. All of whom were older. A senior like me but different. Yes they were regulars. For which I had thought to myself. I really want to come back for more. Our group chatted about the food and happily ate our meals while discussing things about life in Munich and family overseas etc. Chatting about our memories of weekly Schnitzel nights at home with cabbage and sausages and when we were good kids we'd get to have strudel. Night of making spaetzle over a pot of boiling water and cooked on the pan with gobs of cheese. So the dishes brought back fond memories for all of us. Even my partner who is Japanese. It reminded her of the days her mother and uncle would reminisce of their days in Germany back in the sixties. So she was excited to be able to dine here as much as the rest of us. We did notice that we were waiting for quite some time after we finished our meal for the desert menu which came when they reminded us our time limit was about up and that the next reservation would be coming soon but may be a bit late. So we had time to order desert. Once we got our final part of the meal. That said Gentleman at the front happily greeted the next reservation who very loudly, almost mockingly that they have arrived and we were to vacate our table asap. We were all shocked and rather embarrassed. It was as if he picked us out from the crowd because of our skin colour. Was this the case? I certainly hope not. Suddenly I didn't feel welcome at all and frankly was quite off put by his abrupt behaviour. Sure their place is busy and yes most clientele are older and. But I felt something that I hadn't felt in a long time. Not since the sixties and seventies. I did let the server know of this and she said she has heard this before. Maybe he's just a character like the Soup N from Seinfeld or the Angry Waiter from Int. Chinatown. But this was different. Or maybe he just has a lot of stress. I'll leave it at that. But I won't be coming back despite how good we thought it was to come here. It was disappointing that we may have been profiled after my observations of said Gentleman in his dealings with certain customers. So it pains me to write something that started so promising, short of feeling sick after our dining experience and needing a much deserved walk for recovery. So 3 stars comes with a generous heart after much deserved contemplation.

5 Star Rating The best german food in the Pacific Northwest is in North Vancouver, Canada! Very generous serving sizes, great food and service, and in-house music on weekends! Make sure to call in advance to book a table. They have limited hours and there is always a lineup. I am nitpicking, but I hope they improve their website and add online reservations. Even if I have to pay a deposit to book online, I would do it! And if you need someone to make the online booking system or website, let me know and I’ll do it in exchange for food!

5 Star Rating Jägerhof Restaurant is a fantastic German spot that I highly recommend. The menu stays true to its roots, with classic offerings like schnitzel and spätzle, both of which were very good. The ambiance is amazing, especially for Canada, where good European restaurants are rare. The live classical music adds a wonderful touch, creating an authentic and charming atmosphere. The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the owner is very gentle and approachable, making the experience even more special. I also loved the selection of German beers, especially the Erdinger wheat beer, it was exceptional and paired perfectly with the meal. As someone obsessed with desserts, the crème brûlée was the highlight for me. It was truly out of this world and the best I’ve ever had. This place is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic German cuisine and a warm, inviting dining experience!

5 Star Rating When we walked past the restaurant, the outside decor was amazing. Old school Bavarian style. There was also live performances inside that attracted our attention. Stepping inside of the restaurant, the servers welcomed us very warmly. We went without a reservation at 5:00pm and at that time you didn’t need a reservation but you typically would on a Friday night so remember to book one. Now, onto the food. The food was amazing. We ordered a beer (Czech Dark Beer) and it went really well with the meats. We were sharing so we wanted to order a bit of everything. Out of the sausage platter, the venison sausage is a must-try. The Bratwurst also tastes very authentic and went very well with the beer. The Schnitzel was alright, but the mushroom sauce elevated it to a 10/10 immediately- the sauce is a must try. The Ham was a bit salty but paired well with the Sauerkraut and the beer. The third dish was the Schweinshaxe, but it kind of disappointed . The portion is of average/smaller size, and skin was not as crispy as we’d like it to be. However, the meat was very juicy and paired amazingly well with the sauce and Sauerkraut. Perhaps it was because we were in a rush and we kind of rushed the kitchen (the Schweinshaxe would usually take 20 minutes. Ours was in 15 ish). It still tasted great nevertheless. If you come here next time, definitely try the mushroom sauce (Jager?) and the schnitzel. Also get the dark beer with the meat (per server recommendation) and the venison sausage. If you have enough time , try the Schweinshaxe.

4 Star Rating i was so excited to come here and try their signature lamb dishes, because it just looked so tender. they were super flavourful, juicy, and soft, but i can’t really explain why i wasn’t blown away?? maybe i didn’t love how the meat paired with the rice and lemon potatoes (kinda wish they gave a bit more for the price we paid for the dish)… HOWEVER, i was surprised by how much i LOVEDDDDD the dessert. we got the ekmek and the baklava, and both were super delicious. a little bit sweet (especially the baklava), but i was obsessed with it. i can’t choose between which one was better, but both were so good so i recommend just getting both ! also, if it’s your first time, i would totally get the dip taster because it’s definitely worth it and it was fun to try all of them and mix & match the different dips!

5 Star Rating Cozy laid back environment for an amazing meal. We sat near the fireplace and had the Perogies; Bistro salad; French onion soup and their special, Hungarian Goulash. For dessert we shared the banana bread chocolate pudding served warm with ice cream. Everything was absolutely on point!

3 Star Rating Decent food terrible service! We waited for about a solid 20 minutes before the waitress came for our order. The restaurant was pretty much empty. There were some take out orders but nothing that seems to justify such a long wait. When the food finally started to arrive we had to ask for plates. She just dropped the plates on the corner of the table. No soya sauce plates. I’m used to get my tea cup filled constantly in Japanese restaurant. There we had to ask for it, our cups were cold that’s how long we had to wait. Perhaps the best option is to do take out for this place but there are lots of very good Japanese places in North Van. I don’t see myself going back.

3 Star Rating Definitely NOT authentic Japanese food. Filled with sticky sugary sauces which cover up bland dishes. Good service and nice atmosphere. So if you don’t care about the food quality maybe you can just enjoy the vibe.

4 Star Rating We've been on the north shore for a long time and never had checked this place out. We decided to go for dinner. It was good food and nice service. I was expecting a bit more wow as it was highly recommended but I would just say it's good sushi and I would go back
