We ordered Catch burgers with fries & were happy to find another dog friendly nice restaurant with tasty burgers.
The staff were so kind & friendly & asked if our dog needed a water bowl under the sun... Of course, I recommend this place... !👌

First time trying this place out. They had a mix of korean fusion brunch. We went with a total of 4 girls each ordered a different drink to try. Most of the lattes were made very well not overly sweet. Service seemed understaffed. The waitress tried to memorize our order . I did remind her maybe to jot it down because we had a lot of different things. Some things were missed or wrong but they did give us a free dessert as an apology, which was nice. Overall the steak bulgogi was really well cooked and I would order it again. The yuzu cronut which was free wasn't worth it, texture was overly hard and didn't have much of a yuzu flavor. Forgot to add a must order is the churros. Soft and warm with a dipping caramel.

Recommend you stop in for a bite here while you explore everything that North Vancouver has to offer. Love the atmosphere and vibe of this cute little corner restaurant. Food was delicious, had the Belt and my friend had the Salmon bagel, service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be coming back to try their Happy Hour specials as I was tempted by their selection of mimosas and margaritas.

Came here for brunch on a weekday and it was very easy to make a reservation online. The interior is so chic and clean. Service was great and staff were friendly. They answered our questions on the menu clearly. We got the
-ICED HOJICHA PASSION LATTE
-BLACK SESAME LATTE
-KFC DUTCH BABY BAKED PANCAKE
-SALMON GRAVLAX BAGEL
-CAULIFLOWER BENNY
-PULLED BBQ PORK SHOULDER BENNY
Definitely try to KFC Dutch baby baked pancake, it's unique and taste good. Although the bagel only comes in half, but they were very generous with the smoked salmon so I was pretty full.
Cauliflower benny was very delicious as well. We also ordered their croissants. The hazelnut one was so good! I wish we bought more to take home. We spent more than an hour there and the vibe was just so relaxing. I will definitely come back!

We weren't big fan of Catch 122 when it was still in Gastown, but the quality and service has been really good ever since they moved to North Vancouver. The space is brighter and the food is always on point as well. Definitely one of our favourite brunch spots in the city now!!

Best restaurant of our entire trip through Canada and Alaska. Stopped here with the family for dinner and had the best oysters we’ve ever tasted. Each dish was delicious and was beyond expectation. Menu was diverse and unique as well as fairly priced. In addition to amazing food, we had some of the best service (especially at the bar with Tom) we ever experienced in a restaurant. We left super satisfied and happy. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience that we all won’t forget. We will be visiting again when we stop in Vancouver.

The quality of the food and seafood here is amazing but the portions are very small especially for the price. I would avoid the appetizers due to the small portions as it was tough to share them… the main dishes were great. Staff were friendly but stressed out and was on the slow side for service. I’m not sure if I would return or not.

Wow, had a really great meal at Fishworks during happy hour. This was my first time at the restaurant and we got there right at 4pm without a reservation. Seated promptly and ordered a few dishes to share.
1) Complimentary bread and hummus dip - bread was warm and the hummus was tasty. Had a good acidity without being too overpowering.
2) $1.75 happy hour oysters - fresh and creamy tasting. Excellent with a bit of mignonette and hot sauce.
3) Salmon tartare ($15) - SO good. So refreshing, bright - great flavors and texture. Highly recommend, I can eat a whole plate to myself.
4) Grilled marinated octopus ($16) - pleasantly surprised by this dish. Octopus wasn’t too tough and tasted great with the chimichurri. Squash purée was a nice texture addition and a little sweet.
5) Caesar ($7) - pretty sure my server forgot my order since it came after the food. Drink itself was good with a kick.
Appreciated the delicious chocolates at the end of the meal. Will definitely come back!

Delicious seafood and great atmosphere for date nights. My husband and I stayed in North Vancouver for vacation. We came here for dinner based on our host's recommendation and it did NOT disappoint, so we dined here twice before flying back to the U.S.! Our servers were polite. We loved the lingcod and paella dishes - full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The oysters were also tasty. We'd happily return in the future!

Fishworks never lets us down! Another stellar dinner with mouthwatering dishes, all topped off with Chloe's impeccable service. The value is exceptional—you definitely get your money's worth and then some. I asked for Bouillabaisse, even though it wasn’t on the menu, and Chloe assured me they’d happily whip it up. The octopus, fish and chips, lobster pasta, Bouillabaisse, and drinks were all top-notch. Fishworks is a must-visit in Vancouver!

This was my wife and I first time there. We did have a reservation sometime ago but had to cancel.
The service was good and the food was great. They sat us by a window to see the amazing view. We had the Fried Cod and Chips and an order of prawns. The prawns were delicious and the cod and fries were cooked well. All and all the atmosphere is a lil quiet needs some music 🎶 but otherwise very nice place to eat and enjoy a beautiful view.

What a great meal with the ocean right by your side. The service from the servers was amazing, attentive, friendly and very professionals from start to finish!
A very relaxed dinner focused on seafood, and a great conversation, two ingredients for a great time. And the pier area was just a very good surprise, lots of fun and movement!
Strongly recommend for you to give it a try :)

This is an updated review.
The first couple of experiences I had with Pier 7 wasn’t really great to the point where I never considered coming back. However, after the last time I went here the manager reached out to me and asked about what happened. Keon, the manager. professionally handled the complaint and went above and beyond to fix multiple issues I had regarding the service.
Invited me back and saved a table for me on a busy weekend with a really great view. We’ve ordered the chicken spaghettini, steak frites, prawn cocktail and the pier 7 oyster trio. I didn’t really raise my hopes up, but this time it was a really great experience. The checkbacks were consistent, food was great (steak frites could’ve been more softer). The dessert was also pretty good. As a restaurant manager myself, this service recovery’s pretty good and again, Keon did a very great job.
I’m just hoping that for my next visit, the service won’t change and be able to keep it consistent.
Thank you Pier 7. See you every weekends!

I had a table beside the window on the ground floor. Although it's only a partial harbor view, it's still enjoyable on a sunny day. The food was good, and some dishes came with a lot of potatoes. The waiters seemed very busy, and it took time to flag down our server.

The oysters tasted fresh and the beef was cooked well. The sablefish was good too, but nothing special as I have had better and the dish felt very unbalanced. They had this fillet underneath the fish that was simply weird and tasted pretty terrible, I am still unsure of what food that was but it soaked up all the sauce and fell apart into this soggy dough, my fish ended up a tad bland because of that. I usually only judge a restaurant for their food because I don’t think judging by service is very fair. However, this instance was unacceptable. The table next to us received their food before we did after the waitress brought their food to our table thinking it was our food and then we proceeded to wait another 45mins after that before our food actually arrived when the restaurant was not packed and it did not seem very busy. Their fries are probably one of the worst fries that I have ever had, it is super thick and doughy, I was eating the outside because that is the only crispy edible part. We sat outside on the patio and that is fantastic, it’s a very nice view and we saw a seal. Too bad I was so irked by being hangry at that point that I couldn’t be awed by the cute seal.

I recently visited Boston Pizza with a large group, and we had the pleasure of being served by Serenity. She was absolutely fantastic! Her kindness and attentiveness made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Despite our big table, she ensured that everyone's needs were met and that we all felt taken care of.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and the portions were generous.
Overall, If you're looking for a great spot to dine with a large group I recommend this location.

Just a nicer fast food chain to me. But for what the price they are asking for, the food plus the place is a fair deal. But the drinks and their beer selections REALLY need some work.
This location particularly has a nice patio with a good view, and a relaxing atmosphere when it’s not busy.
On Tuesday, the pasta is 15.99! It’s a decent deal with a decent size.

I don’t know how I feel about some of the drinks, they are definitely different but absolutely worth a try! Food wasn’t the best but it was such a fun place to hang out and have cocktails. I’m a little bit upset because on the menu beans and rice costed $4 but my receipt showed $5 so I asked our server and she just said “yeah it’s extra so that’s the price”. I didn’t want to argue with her so I just paid but I was expecting more customer service. Yeah it’s only a buck but it’s kinda false advertising and if I was drunk I wouldn’t have noticed I was mid-charged.

At was our first time at Raglan’s Bistro & their colourful patio & sign 🪧 caught our eye. We were so happy that their patio was open & they turned on the heater for us & our pup. I ordered the piña colada 🍍 🥥 🍹 & huevos rancheros with a side of summer sausage. While my husband ordered a burger & she staff accommodated his request to make the order vegan. The food came out quickly & was HOT. 🍽️ the summer sausage caught my eye as soon as the staff brought it out: it was colourful & looked juicy. And after taking a bite: I knew it wasn’t just store-bought/ a ready to cook sausage. It juicy & burst with flavour with each bite, & was so good that I had to ask if it was house-made or a specialty order. One of the staff said it was indeed house-made & took lots of recipe-tweaking. My cocktail was refreshing after finishing up a walk around Mahon Park & felt like I was in a tropical country. 🌴 And my cast iron plate of huevos rancheros was filling, scrumptious & definitely made our stroll worth it. My husband was happy with a full belly with his burger. 🍔
Highly recommend Raglan’s for their friendly staff, colourful & heated patio, & yummy food. 💯

Very cool place in the north van. It's small but good food and atmosphere. The drinks are top-notch. Loved the blue Hawaiian. The burger is amazing. It's loaded and very tasty. Substituting fries with salad is a little expensive and would've been nice to be mentioned beforehand. It's still very tasty salad. Will definitely go back.

The food tasted good but not how described. I ordered jerk chicken wings and I was genuinely wondering if they used the wrong sauce because they tasted nothing like jerk, just herb and garlic. The cocktails were a little underwhelming and also not quite as described. For example the drink I ordered sounded quite sweet on the menu, but tasted very sour and limey when I got it- no lime was mentioned in the item description. My friend's salad was delicious though and accurate to the menu description.
The atmosphere was fun and the service was good. I think the menu is a little overpriced for what you get though, considering the inaccuracies.

My friend and I ordered the same chicken ancho burrito, but hers fell apart half way through. The burrito was a little too salty as well, but other than that, the experience was great. The beans and chicken in the burrito were super soft, and the size was plenty filling.

We had yet another wonderful meal and experience at The Jägerhof last night. We have been many times over the years, as usual, we were warmly greeted and had exceptional service throughout the evening. We chose the Alpine Charcuterie plate and a special feature onion tartlet as appetizers, the Expo Schnitzel and Rouladen for main courses and treated ourselves to dessert of Vienna Apfelstreudel and Crème Brûlée, all were beautifully presented and so delicious. The restaurant was full and very fun! The owners Christopher and Kassandra have done a great job running a unique, family owned restaurant that offers quality food with a charming atmosphere.

Went on a Saturday night for the live music. The piano player was excellent and really adds to a surreal experience. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand, the place was packed! It's busy and chaotic, but that somehow adds to the experience.

When we walked past the restaurant, the outside decor was amazing. Old school Bavarian style. There was also live performances inside that attracted our attention.
Stepping inside of the restaurant, the servers welcomed us very warmly. We went without a reservation at 5:00pm and at that time you didn’t need a reservation but you typically would on a Friday night so remember to book one.
Now, onto the food. The food was amazing. We ordered a beer (Czech Dark Beer) and it went really well with the meats. We were sharing so we wanted to order a bit of everything. Out of the sausage platter, the venison sausage is a must-try. The Bratwurst also tastes very authentic and went very well with the beer. The Schnitzel was alright, but the mushroom sauce elevated it to a 10/10 immediately- the sauce is a must try. The Ham was a bit salty but paired well with the Sauerkraut and the beer. The third dish was the Schweinshaxe, but it kind of disappointed . The portion is of average/smaller size, and skin was not as crispy as we’d like it to be. However, the meat was very juicy and paired amazingly well with the sauce and Sauerkraut. Perhaps it was because we were in a rush and we kind of rushed the kitchen (the Schweinshaxe would usually take 20 minutes. Ours was in 15 ish). It still tasted great nevertheless.
If you come here next time, definitely try the mushroom sauce (Jager?) and the schnitzel. Also get the dark beer with the meat (per server recommendation) and the venison sausage. If you have enough time , try the Schweinshaxe.

The food was astonishing, the service top notch and the atmosphere fun. The piano player was fun and the beer was tall and cold. This was our first visit and we will be back.

Great place for food and beverages at The Wallace Shipyards! It was a beautiful day, we were able to sit outside for an evening dinner and drinks! 🌇
Pizza was delicious and the chicken sandwich was huge! Squid (calamari) starter was super tasty! 😋
Coconut margarita and Spicy pomegranate margarita were yummy! The standard beer flight provides an opportunity to taste the full gamut from Cider to Dark!
Wonderful service and we’d return to try more of their deliciousness!

Had such an amazing time during the happy hour thanks to the incredible Carlan! Both of my parents are out of town visiting and we came in an awkward timing, but she made sure we were always catered to and happy, with great remarks about the food and drinks menu.
It was such an awesome summer day and we stayed for longer than we anticipated, as the atmosphere was so so good! When times like these happen we are truly appreciative, as it leaves a great feeling of joy that we carried out of the restaurant after -sadly- leaving.

The service and atmosphere was fine, but the food was terribly inconsistent. The truffle waffle fries were quite bland, while the "crispy" Humboldt squid was extremely salty! Also, I don't think I'll ever make the mistake of paying $18.90 for half a portion of squid and half a portion of fried banana peppers. Phillips "For peach sake" Ale was really good though!
Consider Tap & Barrel Bridges. Better view, better food!

The service was incredible (Sam) with well dressed and mannered staff, prompt service and tasty drinks. The food was perfectly prepared, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. We were not expecting this level of professionalism but were certainly pleasantly surprised. Anytime we're back in North Van we'll be sure to make a visit back at Anatoli.

**Update: Rating Changed from 2 to 5 stars**
After leaving a negative review (bottom) due to a bad dining experience, Anatoli's manager (Georgia) immediately reached out. She gave me a call, listened to my experience, relayed what she had learned after speaking to staff, apologized sincerely for our experience, and invited my friends and I back for a chance to make things right.
We returned to Anatoli's last night and everything was 10/10. The service was outstanding the food was wonderful—a complete 180 from our previous dining experience. Our server Tim was very attentive, friendly, and ensured we all had a good time.
We tried multiple dishes with everything tasting superb! (I wish we had taken more photos but we started eating as soon as the food arrived!) Our highlights were definitely the watermelon salad and the grilled humboldt squid.
I understand mistakes can happen at restaurants and I believe a big indicator on a business' professionalism is how they try to make things right with the customer.
Georgia and her team went above and beyond to give us a true taste of what dinner at Anatoli's is like.
We will definitely be coming back!

After reading so many positive reviews and having this restaurant strongly recommended by close friends, I was so surprised to have experienced such awful service. Off the top, I want to say our issue was not with our server (who was great!) but with the kitchen. Our group of five waited 45 minutes for our mains (no appetizers were ordered) and one of our guests received her meal 10 minutes after everyone else's. The big issue though was that all of our food (rice, meat, and potatoes) were cold. When I brought this to the server's attention, she apologized, spoke to the kitchen and then shockingly returned to tell me that "they don't believe me." She said the kitchen staff had said plates can get cold while people wait to eat, so the plate was probably cold but not the food. I was stunned at this response as I wasn't trying to send my food back, just have it warmed up. I had tasted everything on my plate before speaking to the waitress and even asked guests at our table to confirm it was cold. The server was noticeably embarrassed and offered to take my plate back to be warmed up. After about five minutes the plate returned and the meat and rice were the exact same cold temperature and the potatoes had, at best, increased from cold to mildly warm. At this point, we were well over an hour into our dinner, my friends had been eating for 15 minutes, so I told the server the food was still cold but that I didn't want to wait any longer. She apologized profusely, said she would speak to the manager and when she returned she said they had offered to give us each a dessert. I felt it would have been more professional if the manager had come over to speak to our table personally but I appreciated the gesture. And it was not just our table experiencing issues with the kitchen. A table of eight directly beside us made multiple complaints about how long their food was taking and then had their mains arrive 10-15 minutes apart. The restaurant is gorgeous and our server was very professional but when you're charging $30 for a main, making guests wait 45 minutes, serving cold food, and then having your chefs openly dispute your claim that the food is cold and argue with their own staff, it leaves customers with a tremendously negative experience.

Fantastic service! Fantastic food!
My fiancé and I don't get a chance to go on dates very often, so when we do, it's nice when it feels special. We had the restaurant to ourselves when we first arrived for happy hour on a Monday afternoon, but it filled up with customers by the time we were done. The food was delicious and flavourful. We love Greek food and this really was extra yum! The calamari was perfectly crispy and fresh. The lamb kabab was killer, so much flavour. And can't beat that saganaki. Spiery is an amazing server. Nice guy, very attentive and funny. Made our date very memorable! We will be back for sure. :-)

Decent food terrible service! We waited for about a solid 20 minutes before the waitress came for our order. The restaurant was pretty much empty. There were some take out orders but nothing that seems to justify such a long wait. When the food finally started to arrive we had to ask for plates. She just dropped the plates on the corner of the table. No soya sauce plates. I’m used to get my tea cup filled constantly in Japanese restaurant. There we had to ask for it, our cups were cold that’s how long we had to wait. Perhaps the best option is to do take out for this place but there are lots of very good Japanese places in North Van. I don’t see myself going back.

Super delicious!!! I was googling for a nearby Japanese restaurant and luckily to find this. Price is reasonable. We had the Yohachi bento box, sushi and sashimi is fresh, volcano roll is super delicious, I love their spicy sauce!! - highly recommended. Will definitely come back!

Definitely NOT authentic Japanese food. Filled with sticky sugary sauces which cover up bland dishes. Good service and nice atmosphere. So if you don’t care about the food quality maybe you can just enjoy the vibe.

Absolutely delicious, my family has eaten at a lot of different sushi stores all across Vancouver but this is still the best one. The food here is phenomenal, so much so that leaving a review was an afterthought, we already hoovered everything down by the time I thought to leave one.
