We went there based on Google reviews and didn’t make a reservation, so we ended up waiting for about half an hour.
The food was quite good, but the dessert was the real surprise! We originally wanted to order the mushroom-shaped cake, but it was sold out by the time we got to dessert. Instead, we tried the pistachio and passion fruit cakes.
The pistachio cake was delicious—not too sweet, with a rich but balanced flavor. You could easily finish the whole cake without feeling too heavy. The passion fruit cake was interesting; it had a unique texture with small bits in each bite. The flavor was a mix of sweet and sour, but distinctly separated rather than blended. I enjoyed tasting it, but eating the whole cake might have been a bit much.
The service was quite good, though it was a bit noisy since the restaurant was full.

I shamelessly sampled a bit from everyone’s plate, purely for the sake of culinary exploration, of course, and found every dish, along with the coffee, to be thoroughly delightful.
The service is also positively first-rate, with just the right touch of polished discretion, wisely turning a blind eye to my rather audacious taste-testing.
It is highly recommended.

Had a great breakfast at Catch 122. I ordered the Pork Benny and my wife had the chicken and waffles. Both dishes were well prepared. Great flavour. Service was good too.

It was my first time visiting , but I was looking forward to it because the reviews were good. Pre-dinner bread was served warmly, Oysters were fresh and the food was all excellent. The waitress was calm and kind and gave us chocolate for free. It was a happy hour on weekdays, so I could eat in a quiet and comfortable atmosphere. We will surely come back.

Fishworks is a seafood lover’s paradise! Their Caesar is hands down the best I’ve ever had, perfectly balanced and absolutely refreshing. The oysters? Unbelievably fresh—delivered to the restaurant while we were eating! You can’t get fresher than that.
We ordered the seafood tower, and WOW—it was massive, beautifully presented, and every bite was delicious. From the lobster to the prawns to the crab legs, everything was perfectly prepared. To top it all off, the prices were surprisingly affordable for such top-quality seafood.
Strongly, strongly recommended for anyone craving amazing seafood. I’ll be coming back as often as I can! Many, many well-deserved 5 stars! 🌟

Restaurant is quite nice, I really enjoyed the cooked fish. The paella was interesting, not what I am used to as the ones that I’ve had in Spain was a lot more watery, but I am not an expert in Spanish cuisine. There was a bit of a weird aftertaste that I did not enjoy, but that might’ve been a specific herb rather than quality of the ingredients, I will give benefit of the doubt here as I quite enjoyed everything other than that small fact. Service was good and atmosphere was nice, would recommend.

Fishworks has been a go to for consistently delicious food on any given night. Ingredients and presentation coming from the kitchen are top drawer. Make sure you ask about the “Soup of the Day”; you might be pleasantly surprised.
Now what takes Fishworks above so many of the North Shore restaurants is the outstanding front of the house staff. The staff are attentive to your needs and routinely provide high quality service. One of the clear leaders of serving group is Tom; you find him mostly behind the bar. From a warm hello when you first enter to ensuring your first cocktail is expertly crafted. Clearly Tom has extensive knowledge/experience in how he conducts himself in such a professional manner and yet he finds time in the busy atmosphere to mentor younger staff when required. Having watched this on multiple occasions, it is plain to see that Tom not only cares about the visitors experience but goes out of his way to ensure the success of Fishworks. It’s a pleasure to watch Tom and the team work seamlessly to make the visit so enjoyable.

Pier 7 in North Vancouver is an absolute gem! The view is stunning, as you’re sitting right above the water, offering a perfect backdrop for a relaxed, scenic dining experience. The drinks were amazing — each one packed with flavor and just the right amount of kick to give you a nice buzz.
The atmosphere was great for a leisurely meal, and the area around the restaurant is perfect for a walk before or after eating. As for the food, it was exceptional — absolutely delicious, with every dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors. Everything we had was top-notch, and the quality really stood out.
This place has everything: great views, a fun vibe, and some of the best food in the area. Definitely a must-visit spot in North Vancouver!

Great location in the Shipyard District, wonderful view with excellent food. We opted to go with the dine out menu. The tuna tartare was delicious and shrimp cocktails were great. Chicken with Truffle butter was really flavourful, especially if you like truffle and the chicken was slightly crispy. The Pork belly with Scallops was good, though a bit sweet and fatty, the plating was beautiful. And to top it off with a smooth New York Cheescake. Definitely recommend you to try if you are in the area! 😁

Second time here. Views are amazing here. Get seated “outside” right by the water. We (party of four) got there at around 4:30pm without a reservation. We were seated quickly. Service was excellent for us. Server was very attentive and friendly! To our surprise, there was a HH menu! Food came out very quickly, and that was great, because we were all starving. Only complaint was that the wings were a bit on the dry side for me. Enjoyed our meal while enjoying the sunset! It was a perfect day for us. Can’t wait to go back again!

Finally we found Pier7. We chose outside patio ( heater) nice view but too hot after 10 min..
Our sever was friendly and nice, restaurant is clean.
Well, clam chowder has not so much clam.
Fish and chips were good size for 3-4.

Walked in with a big group, no reservation, and Khem still accommodated us! Our server was super polite and helpful. Food arrived on time, impressive!
Unfortunately, my pasta was overcooked, but that's the only hiccup. The ambiance is lovely, and the staff friendly.
Will definitely give it another try. Thanks, Khem, for the great service

I recently visited Boston Pizza with a large group, and we had the pleasure of being served by Serenity. She was absolutely fantastic! Her kindness and attentiveness made our dining experience truly enjoyable. Despite our big table, she ensured that everyone's needs were met and that we all felt taken care of.
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, and the portions were generous.
Overall, If you're looking for a great spot to dine with a large group I recommend this location.

I had a fantastic experience at Boston Pizza when I visited late at night around 11 PM on March 3rd. Despite the late hour, the service was exceptionally welcoming and attentive. A special shoutout to Khem, who went above and beyond to create a warm and positive atmosphere. As always, the food was great, but the outstanding hospitality made the experience even better. I left feeling really satisfied and appreciated.

I don’t know how I feel about some of the drinks, they are definitely different but absolutely worth a try! Food wasn’t the best but it was such a fun place to hang out and have cocktails. I’m a little bit upset because on the menu beans and rice costed $4 but my receipt showed $5 so I asked our server and she just said “yeah it’s extra so that’s the price”. I didn’t want to argue with her so I just paid but I was expecting more customer service. Yeah it’s only a buck but it’s kinda false advertising and if I was drunk I wouldn’t have noticed I was mid-charged.

At was our first time at Raglan’s Bistro & their colourful patio & sign 🪧 caught our eye. We were so happy that their patio was open & they turned on the heater for us & our pup. I ordered the piña colada 🍍 🥥 🍹 & huevos rancheros with a side of summer sausage. While my husband ordered a burger & she staff accommodated his request to make the order vegan. The food came out quickly & was HOT. 🍽️ the summer sausage caught my eye as soon as the staff brought it out: it was colourful & looked juicy. And after taking a bite: I knew it wasn’t just store-bought/ a ready to cook sausage. It juicy & burst with flavour with each bite, & was so good that I had to ask if it was house-made or a specialty order. One of the staff said it was indeed house-made & took lots of recipe-tweaking. My cocktail was refreshing after finishing up a walk around Mahon Park & felt like I was in a tropical country. 🌴 And my cast iron plate of huevos rancheros was filling, scrumptious & definitely made our stroll worth it. My husband was happy with a full belly with his burger. 🍔
Highly recommend Raglan’s for their friendly staff, colourful & heated patio, & yummy food. 💯

Cute spot with friendly service and good food. They also have outside seating for puppies! It felt like a beach spot...except it was raining. The patio is covered with heaters.
I had the chicken sandwich with home fries for brunch with a surf and turf Caesar.
All were tasty!! Caesar was spicy and delicious. Good olives and pickles beans.

Very cool place in the north van. It's small but good food and atmosphere. The drinks are top-notch. Loved the blue Hawaiian. The burger is amazing. It's loaded and very tasty. Substituting fries with salad is a little expensive and would've been nice to be mentioned beforehand. It's still very tasty salad. Will definitely go back.

This restaurant evokes the charm of a European dining experience. The ambiance truly transports you to another continent. The menu offers a delightful selection of dishes. Live music added a wonderful ambiance to the Friday night outing. It is the perfect combination for a special evening. Creating such positive memories is always a joy. We had a wonderful night. Pork chop, in particular, is a culinary masterpiece. Every bite is a burst of flavor.

Jägerhof Restaurant is a fantastic German spot that I highly recommend. The menu stays true to its roots, with classic offerings like schnitzel and spätzle, both of which were very good. The ambiance is amazing, especially for Canada, where good European restaurants are rare. The live classical music adds a wonderful touch, creating an authentic and charming atmosphere.
The staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly, and the owner is very gentle and approachable, making the experience even more special. I also loved the selection of German beers, especially the Erdinger wheat beer, it was exceptional and paired perfectly with the meal.
As someone obsessed with desserts, the crème brûlée was the highlight for me. It was truly out of this world and the best I’ve ever had.
This place is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic German cuisine and a warm, inviting dining experience!

We were excited to come dine here. Having grown up with German food on a weekly basis and a friend from Germany we booked a reservation. The four of us were excited knowing we had a time limit so we thought they'd be expeditious with good service. The Gentleman at the front greeting those with reservations warmly and informing those without would have to come back around 8 / 8:30. As an analyst I picked up on the mildly passive aggressive tonality of his voice. Politely but loudly letting an elderly Asian female customer know that Face masks are not needed at this establishment and having to repeat it thrice before the lady realized she shouldn't wear her face mask. She looked confused and a bit hurt by his sharp words that were delivered in a loud smile.... that exchange did leave me a wee bit on edge. I began to wonder what was next. Besides, we were already seated and had begun ordering. Very much happy with our table service while I was listening to the gentleman at the front guiding people in. The regulars were greeted with friendly banter of familiarity. All of whom were older. A senior like me but different. Yes they were regulars. For which I had thought to myself. I really want to come back for more. Our group chatted about the food and happily ate our meals while discussing things about life in Munich and family overseas etc. Chatting about our memories of weekly Schnitzel nights at home with cabbage and sausages and when we were good kids we'd get to have strudel. Night of making spaetzle over a pot of boiling water and cooked on the pan with gobs of cheese. So the dishes brought back fond memories for all of us. Even my partner who is Japanese. It reminded her of the days her mother and uncle would reminisce of their days in Germany back in the sixties. So she was excited to be able to dine here as much as the rest of us.
We did notice that we were waiting for quite some time after we finished our meal for the desert menu which came when they reminded us our time limit was about up and that the next reservation would be coming soon but may be a bit late. So we had time to order desert. Once we got our final part of the meal. That said Gentleman at the front happily greeted the next reservation who very loudly, almost mockingly that they have arrived and we were to vacate our table asap. We were all shocked and rather embarrassed. It was as if he picked us out from the crowd because of our skin colour. Was this the case? I certainly hope not. Suddenly I didn't feel welcome at all and frankly was quite off put by his abrupt behaviour. Sure their place is busy and yes most clientele are older and.
But I felt something that I hadn't felt in a long time. Not since the sixties and seventies. I did let the server know of this and she said she has heard this before. Maybe he's just a character like the Soup N from Seinfeld or the Angry Waiter from Int. Chinatown. But this was different. Or maybe he just has a lot of stress. I'll leave it at that. But I won't be coming back despite how good we thought it was to come here. It was disappointing that we may have been profiled after my observations of said Gentleman in his dealings with certain customers. So it pains me to write something that started so promising, short of feeling sick after our dining experience and needing a much deserved walk for recovery. So 3 stars comes with a generous heart after much deserved contemplation.

Jägerhof is the absolute best restaurant you could ever experience. Everyone is so warm and welcoming. The server gave amazing tips on what I should try. The Austrian Beer I got recommended was amazing! I also got recommended the Daily special, and oh boy... it DID NOT disappoint... I ate my meal before I could even finish my beer. It was that good. I will be going at least once a month

A Perfect Brunch Spot for a Special Celebration.
Today we celebrated my mother-in-law’s 75th birthday at the Tap & Barrel, and it was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we walked in, we felt warmly welcomed and well taken care of. The atmosphere was inviting, and the service was exceptional
- attentive without being intrusive.
The food was outstanding, with all sorts of eggs cooked to absolute perfection. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. The free refill coffee was a great touch (though we wished the same applied to tea refills).
The setting itself added to the experience. The restaurant was spotless, bright, and delightful, with large windows that let the sunshine stream in, creating a warm and vibrant ambiance. The view was spectacular, making our brunch feel even more special.
Overall, it was the perfect place to celebrate such a milestone. A lovely touch though would have been a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl - like many local places offer.

We visited Tap & Barrel - Shipyard for Valentine’s Day dinner, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Thanks to our reservation, we were seated immediately with no wait time. The service was quick, and everything we ordered arrived exactly as requested.
For our meal, we ordered Pesto Chicken Linguine, Truffle Potato, Lettuce Chicken Wrap, and their famous Fat Tug IPA. Each dish was beautifully presented and tasted great, but the highlight was definitely the Fat Tug IPA—its citrusy, aromatic taste is truly top-notch.
The restaurant itself is one of Vancouver’s most unique dining spots. Located on the waterfront in an old shipyard, it offers a stunning atmosphere, cozy ambiance, and breathtaking views. It’s the perfect place for a special occasion or a casual lunch or dinner. There is a paid parking lot just a few minutes away, which adds to the convenience.
I highly recommend Tap & Barrel - Shipyard for anyone looking for great food, craft beer, and an unforgettable dining experience with a view!

Great place for food and beverages at The Wallace Shipyards! It was a beautiful day, we were able to sit outside for an evening dinner and drinks! 🌇
Pizza was delicious and the chicken sandwich was huge! Squid (calamari) starter was super tasty! 😋
Coconut margarita and Spicy pomegranate margarita were yummy! The standard beer flight provides an opportunity to taste the full gamut from Cider to Dark!
Wonderful service and we’d return to try more of their deliciousness!

i was so excited to come here and try their signature lamb dishes, because it just looked so tender. they were super flavourful, juicy, and soft, but i can’t really explain why i wasn’t blown away?? maybe i didn’t love how the meat paired with the rice and lemon potatoes (kinda wish they gave a bit more for the price we paid for the dish)… HOWEVER, i was surprised by how much i LOVEDDDDD the dessert. we got the ekmek and the baklava, and both were super delicious. a little bit sweet (especially the baklava), but i was obsessed with it. i can’t choose between which one was better, but both were so good so i recommend just getting both ! also, if it’s your first time, i would totally get the dip taster because it’s definitely worth it and it was fun to try all of them and mix & match the different dips!

Cozy laid back environment for an amazing meal. We sat near the fireplace and had the Perogies; Bistro salad; French onion soup and their special, Hungarian Goulash. For dessert we shared the banana bread chocolate pudding served warm with ice cream. Everything was absolutely on point!

Little Tokyo Sushi in North Vancouver is a hidden gem that offers a delightful fastfood experience. The restaurant has a small, cozy space that feels welcoming and unpretentious. While it may not be the fanciest place in town, what Little Tokyo Sushi lacks in decor, it more than makes up for with its delicious rolls.
The sushi rolls are fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, making each bite a satisfying experience. The menu offers a good variety of options, catering to both traditional sushi lovers and those looking for something a bit more creative. The friendly and attentive staff add to the pleasant atmosphere, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Overall, if you're looking for great sushi in a relaxed setting, Little Tokyo Sushi is definitely worth a visit. It's a perfect spot for a casual meal with friends or a quick bite of some truly delicious rolls before taking the sea bus.

This is a nice little spot for sushi. It’s probably best for take out but they do have a few tables. The staff are really nice. The food is tasty and priced fair. It’s a busy shop so the sushi tastes very fresh. I gave it five stars because it is exactly what it should be and they are doing a good job at it!
