I’m kinda disappointed that I didn’t come here to celebrate my birthday earlier. The services and the vibes are amazing!!! The servers are welcoming and friendly. I was given free cakes for my birthday as well. However, I still paid them based on the price of the cakes. There is a happy hour after 9pm. The price is reasonable considering the enchanting romantic atmosphere. The light of the candles provided a beauty effect on my face when taking photos. You definitely wouldn’t mind tipping a little bit more. I will come back here very soon!!!

We went here for my family member’s birthday celebration. The food, service, atmosphere and ambience were 10/10. Everyone was so helpful, friendly and genuine and we really enjoyed our meals. It made the occasion so much better. We are so grateful we chose this location. We look forward to returning soon. Great vegan options also. High recommended!

Visited this location for the first time a couple of weeks ago for drinks and some appetizers. Our server, Rosie (if I recall her name correctly), was incredible, extremely friendly and attentive. The service was outstanding, and the food and drinks were very good as well!

We went celebrating family member birthday. Food was great with excellent taste. We ordered a desert and a candle with it to celebrate the birthday and at the plate , it was written happy birthday. That’s it. But in other restaurants, they show more involvement in birthday celebration in different way but not here even that it wasn’t crowded at all. I like their food a lot but these small things makes a difference.

This is my favorite Cactus Club Cafe location of all. I managed to book a nice table on the patio for my friend’s birthday. Despite the restaurant being nearly full, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious. We spent a wonderful three hours there and will definitely be back again, as always.

Came here for Pirate Pak Day, which is probably peak busy day for White Spot. Had about a half hour wait before we were seated, but good thing is they have a large free parking lot. Service was a bit slower, which is expected given how busy the place was. Good location for family dining and usually has seating available. Definitely gets busier as more people live in the Brentwood area.

We have been dining here for many years. Busy location however it doesn't take long to get seated. Food is good however more veggie options would be appreciated. Most dishes have meat! Our Server was top notch ( I will find out her name next time and will update and I expect WS to give her some recognition). our meals were great and dare I say it...that it hit the spot....the white spot lol.

Today Oct 25th 2024 we visited again White Spot Gilmore , and as usually delicious culinary and excellent service offered by lovely Kaith , who has excellent customer service skills and very professional. As we said before we do have to go back many times again!!!’ Once again a great happy hour afternoon at White Spot. As usually Collen offered a remarkable service with professionalism . The beer and appetizers are always the best.... we had 5 of them for a party of two. We will go back again and again. Please see the pictures and answer yourself . Love it !!!

I just ordered my 2 pc of haddock and chips from the Gilmore Whitespot location. Got home within 5 mins to discover 2 cartons with soggy overcooked fries and 2 scrawny soggy pieces of fish. Below is the picture I took of my very poor take home order. I have had this order before when I eat in, but this is NOT certainly the quality and/or quantity to justify the $24.50 charge. This is NOT a one off with this location. Whitespot is not cheap anymore I made me regret even considering ever patronizing them. Disgusting experience...yet again!

Had a wonderful time, we were so excited to see that the building was exactly the same as when we came as children 😀, we were checking out the area we grew up in and the White Spot was one of the highlights. Couldn't believe that they still have car hop service. Made for a wonderful place to enjoy lunch. And to top it off, our server figured out that she too went to the same high school.

Great spot for lunch in Burnaby, super delicious every time. Vegetables taste fresh and the rice is cooked to perfection. I recommend sizing up every time, it's worth it. The tofu rice bowl with avocado is a great option for vegans, just ask for spicy sauce instead of the regular creamy sauce. Really affordable and great value. I've only done take out here, so I can't speak to the atmosphere, but when we ordered for a large group they were really accommodating with all requests. I would caution sometimes their hours are irregular and they cancel online orders last minute.

Grabbed some takeout from Mama’s Rice Bowl yesterday and was disappointed. After all the positive reviews I was expecting it to be delicious,but it was just decent. A lot of rice, so it was filling, but not sure I would order again.

Delicious rice bowls indeed! Also happy to support a friendly family-owned business like this. They are the epitome of a hole-in-the-wall, but it doesn't matter as they have excellent food and service. I ordered the Bibimbap (Beef), Bulgogi Beef, and Cali Bowl. All were tasty and i would re-order. I enjoyed the Cali Bowl personally (just usually love the ingredients of a cali-roll plus seaweed salad, but theres an argument for each. Will return again and try more bowls!

After running an errand in Burnaby and after reading the great reviews, we decided to give Mama's Rice Bowl a try. This place is, quite literally, a hidden gem and it more than lived up to expectations. Three of us had the KBS bowl, beef bibimbap bowl and butter chicken bowl. Seating is very limited so we took our lunch home. Portion sizes were very good, ingredients fresh and the spice level was good for my taste. No need for me to order the spicy version. Service was lightning quick. Kind of minimalist ambience, but no problem with that considering the food and value for dollar.

❤️‍🔥🤤 Oh my… goodness!!! This place is a hidden gem in the area. Their portions for the price is honestly a steal! Quality and flavour of the food here is great as well. My coworkers and I discovered this place as our office moved in the area and discovering Mama’s Rice Bowl has blessed our lunchtime 😂 The only downside is that they close a tad bit earlier than I’d prefer but, it leaves room for us to desire their food all-the-more. Definitely going to add more details when I order from here again! *** Update: Went in person for pickup and the employees are very kind :) They’re located on the inside of their building and there’s no signage on the front of the building that they’re in. The area when you enter and are ordering is quite small but, they do have tables where you can eat your food and “dine in”. I took a picture of my food after one bite because… I couldn’t wait to eat it, sorry it’s not as aesthetic 🥺

I have been here few times and it’s an absolutely amazing poke place. I always build my bowl and get all the toppings I need and it never disappoints. Really good food for a good price. I tried their chicken, salmon sockeye and shrimp and it’s just amazing. A must try place for poke bowl lovers. Check out if you’re in the area.

Mahalo iā 'oe !! A flawlessly delicious experience as always at my favorite one-stop Poké shop in Van! Iwill never, ever get sick of chowing down on that super yummy spicy Wakame from pokerrito, my favorite and a game changer for sure! I went for my standard BYOB Tofu Poké Bowl with all the veggie toppings. That thing was super tasty, awesome mix of flavors with wholesome ingredients and a very plentiful generous portion at a very reasonable price. Even via UberEats, the portion and flavor is exactly on point with what I have had when visiting in branch. The taste and grade of the poke scoops was incredible, fresh and vibrant, I cannot describe how yummy this was. I also especially S/O digged their Wasabi Basil dressing, never seen it before and a must have topping for the perfect Poke. The staff are super talented at making delicious grub and also super nice people. Remember your Pokkerito rewards so get saving for those scoops ya'll! Support BC businesses!

I’ve always wanted to try pokeritto and I’m lucky enough to have this one within walking distance of where I work. I did a ‘build your own’ regular sized bowl. I absolutely love it. The food is very delicious and the staff were amazing at the restaurant too.

This has become my new favorite pizza place. The dough was fluffy on the inside, and crunchy on the outside. The sauce actually tasted delightful, unlike the ketchup they spread on pizzas at Pizza Pizza. The ingredients were bursting with flavor. Everything screamed quality. Free pepperoncini and garlic butter on the side. Loved it. The staff were really nice at this location.
