This place was a quick find near my work, and turns out they’re great for the price you pay! great portions and great authentic taste and very quick service (I went there for my lunch break and did not have much time to waste, not only was I done with food and payment - I also had some extra time until my break ended!) I did not have cash so the lady upfront let me me with interac etransfer! would definitely recommend!

The restaurant definitely feels like a blast from the past, it kinda smells like commercial so cigarettes and weed which is not my favourite and it's kinda drafty but it adds to the experience and me and my friends are kinda crazy so 5 stars. The food is also decent, they have a big variety and it's pretty good. Overall I think it's a fun experience to come with friends.
I really like their deep fried prawns. And I want to try their brunch here too.
The photos are from 2 separate times we went.

Frank and I went to Trout Lake Beach for seeing Maple trees over there and we decided to having lunch in Kyle's Cafe.
We had fried rice, seafood noodle soup and deep fried Wanton, and we ate them all. The service was good and the price was fair, too.

Great old school food and great cooks and friendly staff cash only but definitely great and recommended

Came to this cafe while waiting for my motorcycle tires to be installed at Modern.
Ordered the bacon tomato benny and it was pretty good. I asked for water and the cup it came in had some weird dirty thing inside the cup so I had to exchange for another one. That was a bit off putting considering the water came before the meal.
Everything in the store was quite outdated. Chairs were ripped with holes. You can't expect too much.
Overall, the food was decent and if there's nothing open at 9:30am, I may come back.

Really yummy pizza for super affordable price. I love how cozy (but very small) the space was to eat. Napkins and condiments were readily available.

I was on a pizza tour on commercial drive with some buddies and this was my second favorite. They had a really REALLY good white sauce and they have sesame seeds on their pizza. Even tho this was my second favorite, I dream of this pizza often. Was so good. This is a pizza you need to get for a family/friend gathering. Its gas.
Crust was a 5.5/10 --> I wanted to rate higher but I had to average out my vote with my partner. Personally I'd give it a 7/10
Sauce was a 8.5/10 --> The sauce was gas. It was a touch too acidic for me. But again, its tomato sauce. Still a big slay.
Toppings was an 8/10 --> The ingredients were yummy and the sesame seeds on the top were surprisingly good. I love them.
Vibe was a 7/10 --> Its a franchise so its similar to all the other pizza joints. However they have coke zero so its been saved a bit with that. People were nice too.
Durability was a 7.5/10 --> out of all the pizzas this had the weakest durability. The amount of sauce (that I personally like) made the toppings slide around. This isn't technically a bad thing.
Again I dream of this pizza. Big slay.

Pay by the slice or you can order a S, M, L pizza.
The staff is so friendly and they are very quick. It can get very busy at times, as it is right by the sky train station.
They have a lot of great flavors to choose from, AS WELL as vegetarian options.
My go to pizza here is either the potato pizza, pepperoni or Hawaiian, add potato 2x.
The dough is exceptional 👌& the added sesame seeds brings it to the next level.
You can order online for pick up, although it asks if you want to tip (online) it doesn't actually add it. So that is something to keep in mind if you are paying at pick up time
10/10 recommend ✅

Their pizza I tried was on the drier side and more like breadsticks since they are extremely light on the tomato sauce and you can barely taste the tomato since the layer of sauce is so thin. The toppings were thin too and there is barely any cheese on their pizza when compared to most other pizza chains. A nice touch is some sesame seeds near the crust but otherwise I found the pizza just okay.

It's not an Italian style slice of course but that doesn't detract from it at all. It's a unique pizza with a fluffy, crisp crust with great sauces and toppings that is still somewhat light when compared to Freshslice or similar chain pizza. Great location, especially if you're watching a movie across the street. I will always get a slice or two whenever I'm in town.

Brussel sprouts were undercooked and tasteless. But I didn’t want to waste them, so took them home to try cooking them again in my air fryer. My friend’s chicken on her salad was undercooked too. Service staff was irritable. Chairs so highly uncomfortable that my neck hurt and head felt like it was gonna fall off after an hour of eating. Food is also not cheap. My only explanation of why this place is rated 4.1 on Google is because it’s a bar, so people have impaired judgement of what they’re experiencing once once they start drinking.

Food was good for the price. Now it is really hard to find sushi places for this affordable price.
One thing though, my salmon poke don, I wanted the veggies to be fresh but it was almost all picked like cucumbers, radishes and even green beans. So it was too sour. But other than that, it was good!

Now THIS is what I was hoping for when traveling to Vancouver!!! Came for lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and was shocked that it was practically empty. The interior is beautiful and modern, and the service is friendly and quick. But the food? OH THE FOOD! Truly the best sushi I have ever had! The prices are absurdly fair (13.95 bento box at lunch time that is STACKED?! Yes please!), and the quality is outstanding. Generous portions, and everything was so fresh and flavorful, I'll absolutely go out of my way to come back here again. 5 stars!!

Reasonably priced & fresh sushi place in Vancouver! Came here for special rolls and sashimi but their menu has lots of items. Too bad that they don't serve alcohol but we had a great time.

Ordered a bento box over the phone. Was a Saturday around 7pm. They had a 30 min wait. Not bad for their busy time. Service was quick. Was greeted by a man from the back while the woman at the front handled another customer. Food was good, quite filling for the price.

I have ordered from this place several times using Uber Eats, always requesting "no cucumber and no ginger" in the deep California Roll.
However, my order yesterday did not honor any of my requests. While the ginger, which is on the side, might be understandable, the inclusion of cucumber in the roll was unacceptable and made me very unhappy with my meal. I have a mild allergy to cucumber, which is why I always make this request.
I'm not sure if I'll order from here again, but I hope you will pay more attention to such requests in the future.

**5-Star Review for The Burrow**
The Burrow, formerly known as Bandidas Taqueria, has truly elevated the plant-based Mexican dining experience! As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover such a flavorful and creative menu. Every dish bursts with fresh ingredients, vibrant colors, and bold, authentic Mexican flavors. Their house-made salsas are phenomenal, and the vegan tacos are hands-down some of the best I’ve had. The warm, welcoming ambiance and friendly service make it the perfect spot for a cozy meal with friends. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or just love great food, The Burrow is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

The burrow has the best vegan nachos in town! The servers are super friendly and I love the simple vibes. For anyone who’s never been, the small nachos are ginormous on their own and more than enough to share between a 2-3 people. Or as your own meal ;) It’s not Bandidas per se but I’ll take it! Thanks for the vegan eats! Please stay forever

We ordered the nachos, tacos, and enchiladas. Highly recommend their pascale mark nachos!!! That was amazing😍and you must have to eat them with sour cream and salsa.(⁎⁍̴̛ᴗ⁍̴̛⁎) The only food we didn’t finish which was chipotle tofu enchiladas…it was delicious but too salty for us…BTW, don’t forget to try their tacos~~🌮🌮
We also tried the Friday special drink which is called hibiscus lemonade, sweet and sour taste, really refreshing, could be nice choice! But my favorite was their special drink on their spring menu, called “Let your mango”. That was fantastic!!!😎😎
Overall great, we’ll come back again!

We came here for brunch and before coming here I read up on reviews and many people said their cornbread was amazing. Well it definitely lived up to the hype! It was easily the best part of my meal. I ordered the Sherman Benny and everything about it was very tasty. The cornbread was not dry at all, still had that bit of crunchiness around the edges and actually had a nice flavour to it. Eggs were cooked perfectly and all the sides complemented really well. I would recommend for a nice gluten free/vegan place. I’m not a vegan but I usually find brunch really heavy and this was a nice lighter alternative. The best part was, all the servers were super friendly and attentive, we enjoyed our meal here! :)

The Burrow is very inviting with the right balance of homeliness and modernity. The server seemed to really care that I enjoyed my meal and gave helpful recommendations. I got tacos and a horchata. Keeping in mind that everything is vegetarian, the tacos were very good! Lots of ingredients, textures, and flavours. The server recommended the horchata with oat milk and it was one of the best I’ve had. Best of all, I felt like I made a healthy and unique choice at the end of the meal. I would recommend The Burrow, and I would HIGHLY recommend if you are vegetarian.

One of the best we had.
Authenticity 5/5
Food quality 5/5 (The amount of diversity in their ingredients are crazy)
Food quantity 6/5 the portions were massive!
The price is really good for its portions.
Service 5/5 it’s not the friendliest to some customers they don’t really smile and suck up to you, but that’s how we like it. They’re fast and they do take care of you like legit Chinese aunties and uncles.
We will be def going back. Thank you for the great food!

Had the most wonderful group dinner (10 of us). The food was fresh, hot and exceptionally tasty. Large portions too! It arrived quickly after ordering. The staff were amazing - friendly and helpful service!
Notable items: Kung Pao chicken (excellent), Szechwan beans excellent) lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, prawns with snap peas, beef and broccoli, and mixed vegetables (all the rest were fabulous too)!
The parking was challenging - several spots in the back. But definitely worth persisting to be able to eat there!!
Highly recommended!!

We had a great dinner here the other day! We walked in and got a table for 4 right away even though they were very busy! Won Ton soup was ok, the wonton fantastic however the broth was lacking in some flavour! The Honey Beef was Amazing as was the Spicy Green Bean….so good! The deluxe vegetable was ok, nothing mind blowing there. The service really stands out, it was so good! Everyone was very attentive! We enjoyed ourselves!

This review is regarding their food not the physical establishment itself. It's about the service I received after advising them of a mistake they made.
I had ordered quite a bit of food for take out amounting to about $280. A member of my family took out a portion of egg foo young and began to eat it. As they ate, they noticed that the food was a bit chewy. When they spit out whatever was in their mouth they noticed that it was an entire napkin that had been rolled or folded into the dish.
An entire napkin was found in the dish and we did not know what it was used for prior to it being in the dish. It was a sanitary issue as well as choking hazard.
Needless to say our entire party was disgusted at the sight and we decided that we did not want to take any chances with the other food so we ended up throwing everything out.
I have been coming to this location and restaurant since I was a child and this is the first time something like this has ever happened.
After advising the team at Chongqing that this happened they refused to provide any refund but instead comp the next 2 dishes when we order again. I said that was unacceptable and that my entire next order would have to be comped.
After not receiving a response to the 2nd email that I sent I went there to speak to them in person. The team recognized me and acknowledged that we come there often as well as order take out frequently.
The next offer was 2 free dishes and 10% off the entire next order. I advised that was still unacceptable and I requested my next order to be comped.
They said no, so at that point I informed them that I would no longer be ordering from them or any of their other locations. I also would be informing family and friends not to order from them as well.
I don't think the compensation I asked for was unreasonable but I think their response was lacking and there really was no customer service rendered. Clearly, our family's years of loyalty meant nothing to them.
All in all if you find something in your food no matter how disgusting all you'll receive is a free dish next time providing you haven't received food poisoning already.

While ordering my food today. The young lady worker was alone and had online orders coming and I was the only guest. I had to order 4 sandwiches for my friends and made my order. In the midst of making my order, an older sad man came in and was extremely rude to her for making my order that was already half done, instead of pushing him ahead and scolded her for not knowing he had a bad back and believed he deserved everything handed to him in a silver platter above others, and insisted to bully her for doing the job she was trained to do.
I tried to stand up for her but he gave me the middle finger and told me to leave and continued bullying her instead of making his order.
I would just like to say that her composure and professionalism throughout the entire chaotic ordeal was outstanding and that I send my kudos to her and apologies for causing more dismay than he already was pursuing to her relentlessly

Turkish street food is in town for the first time! Finally👍 They are conveniently located on East Broadway at Commercial drive, yellow food truck. As a native street foodie I am happy to say you won’t be disappointed. Delicious just like the ones you’d get at Istanbul streets and probably higher quality. Great customer service! Try the messy/wet burger, Yengen, Cig kofte (vegan) and you might be even treated by some Turkish candy bars ( well it was my birthday 🥳). Definitely will be back!

I walked passed the food truck and was excited to try Turkish food. I've never had it before. I've had different middle eastern cuisine though.
I asked what I should order and was told the kofte is the most popular. So I ordered it and the messy burger.
In my opinion it took too long as I waited 30minutes for my order and I found the food very bland and not flavorful. The kofte had no real taste and the messy burger was just ketchup and ground beef.

Nice quick Turkish food if you’d like to try. Interestingly, they have the closest taste to real Turkish street food. Try “Tekirdağ Köfte” with all ingredients. To the owner: Thumbs up guys. Keep the pops cold.
