I visited this ramen spot on a chilly night, and the noodles came out hot, steamy, and absolutely satisfying. I ordered the miso ramen paired with the grilled salmon rice bowl, and both were fantastic. The soup was flavourful, I ate it all because it was just that good.
The service was friendly and attentive, but it was a bit slow since there seemed to be only one server managing everything, from cleaning tables to greeting and serving customers. Despite how busy the server was he made sure our waters and hot tea is filled.
So If you’re looking for great ramen with comforting flavors, this place is worth the visit. It’s especially perfect on a cold day!

Delicious ramen and side dishes just like in Japan. Tried the seasonal ginger ramen and it was warming to the soul with rich flavoured broth, fatty pork pieces, and lots of vegetables like cabbage, carrots, and broccoli. You could taste the ginger in the broth with a bit of mild spice. The Tsukemen was very tasty as well and you can ask for bonito broth to make the sauce into a soup at the end. The tonkatsu is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. A very nice meal.

The only ramen or Japanese restaurant on Broadway that closes at 10 pm. So I went there at 9.25, and the service was great and quick; the waitress was so friendly and helpful even though they would be closed in 30 minutes.
The ramen, as mentioned in the store name, is Hokkaido ramen, which is different from regular ramen. The taste was so Umami and delicious.
I combined it with sencha tea; how unfortunate the tea was in the teabags; it may be perfect if they are using a loose leaf.
To finish the dish I ordered a Hojicha pudding; it was so smooth and tasty. The level of sweetness is perfect.

Hokkaido Ramen Santouka offers flavorful ramen, but the menu is limited to pork broth with no beef options, which was a bit disappointing. While the broth is rich and satisfying, the bowls are mostly filled with noodles and lack a generous portion of protein, leaving the balance off. That said, the service is friendly and efficient, making the overall experience pleasant. It’s worth trying if you’re okay with the pork-focused menu and want comforting ramen.

Really enjoyed the Ramen broth, didn't expect it, but the Shoyu was amazing. Noodles were onthe thinner side. Ramen comes with the broth and noodles, bamboo sprouts but the egg, and chili or anythingelse is extra. The Takoyaki was squishy and soft, don't recommend that it was disappointing.

We went for their 2-6pm happy hour - Horrible food. Poke bowl was a bad choice. I wanted it to be good because it looked so attractive. Rice tasted of old socks, masago had a bad sour flavour, tuna was not fresh, bad odor infected the plain watermelon radish too. The avocado component was good and seaweed salad was okay. The brussel sprouts were so salty and sour as to be inedible. I would rather go hungry than eat that food. Bacon was just a plain salt flavour. That was the first time I’ve ordered from a restaurant and the food was inedible.
Flat bread was okay, but they obviously used pre-frozen bread. Poutine was too salty too, but at least edible.
They were apologetic and took the poke bowl off and gave $3 off the sprouts, so the service was good. Hope your experience there will be better than ours, but I can not recommend.

The food was good, but not everyone liked their food. Unfortunately, we won’t come back!
The atmosphere was so loud and noisy, where we had to change our table!
The washrooms need to be attended to on hourly basis.
The service was good, and they came multiple time to refill our water, but whenever we needed them and called them while they serving the tables around us, they couldn’t hear us!

Our waiter, Enjay (NJ) was super friendly and helpful. We ordered the spicy thai chili wings and rqstd extra sauce on the side. One of the best orders of wings we have had anywhere. Meaty and most flavorful. Also ordered the salmon burger but I should have ordered it well done. The yam fries are a must - delish!

We went here for an early dinner because we were gifted a gift card. Between two people, we ordered and shared the cajun salmon risotto and the two piece fish and chips. The risotto was tasty with a creamy sauce, though the salmon tasted a bit dry. The dish overall was warm, but not hot. The fish and chips were fine and the fish came out hot, but the fries were more on the "warm" side. The two pieces of fish were good portions whereas the fries portion was really small.

We were very surprised to discover happy hour all night on a Saturday night but after coming here we realized why. It's absolutely dead. There was no atmosphere! However, worth it for the very cheap drinks.

I’m not a fast food fan but Fatburger is different! The care and attention that is put into the burgers is amazing. So delicious and you can’t beat a classic burger like this. I’m gluten free and a lettuce wrap burger is one of the most affordable lunches in the city! Delicious 😋

The service and staff are great. I always enjoy eating at Fatburger locations, and this visit was no different.
The Hawaiian burger was incredibly juicy and delicious—the combination of pineapple, bacon, and the burger was so unique and enjoyable as a new experience. 🍍 🥓 🍔
The mushroom burger was a classic, still juicy, and perfect if you prefer something without the sweetness of the Hawaiian burger. It's absolutely amazing. 🍄 🍔
My favorite part was the fried pickles—crispy, a bit spicy, and so unique to Fatburger. I love them. 🥒 🥒
As always, it was a 5/5 experience. The store itself was classy and cozy, just like a true burger place.

Blackened chicken was good, just the top of the bun was soaked so I had to take it off. The chicken though, delicious!
Delivered by Uber but it could tell have sat too long making that the cause of a soggy bun, it was still very warm. Beef burger was the same, it would be nice if FB could figure out a way to prevent that.
Onion rings were good too, I'd prefer a little more seasoning.

personally, the prices are very high. You’re looking at spending up to $20 per person if you’re looking for making it a combo. The place itself was cool for a hot day and the view was nice for people watching, though people tend to watch you.
My service was fast and the people working there were nice and quick, letting me know about some things. I got the 4 taster chickens combo for $18.54 I believe, though it was pricey they gave me 2 extra tenders! Guess everywhere I go and order tenders I seem to get a little extra haha.
The food itself was fresh and the chicken was good, seasoned well and juicy. The fries are good but could be a little more salty but overall very delicious.
I recommend this place if you’re looking for some good fresh and fast food, for reasonable prices if it’s made up to date. Thank you, fat burger.

I don't get to this area from Surrey often but I hope their standards have been maintained since the last couple years since I have been there. I had a deluxe cheeseburger combo and it still stands out in my memory how perfect it all was. The food was prepared perfectly, all the ingredients fresh and tasty, a balanced burger and perfect hot fries, brought to me directly from the grill, along with a creamy, real, old-fashioned chocolate shake. The staff was professional and friendly and definitely did their jobs with pride. Bravo!

Here for dine out 2025 ($45 per person), one of the worst done out experience. Not worth it.
At first, all of the starters were exquisite (we had four people and ordered one each), entree was just mediocre, not stunning in any sense.
What's worth mentioning was when the entree came, all of our empty starter plates were still on the table, we had to hold our own plates up for the servers to put the mains down.
Then for the dessert, one of us got chocolate butter bar. There was a clear fingerprint on the chocolate bar. We told the server and he said the pastry chef grab them bare hands so its unavoidable. He said he could change it for us but it would still have fingerprints. For this whole time, the server had no smile on his face. Will not come back again for this kind of service and food.

Fanciest washrooms I have seen in a Canadian restaurant with a full on couch and chilling area.
Not sure why one would want to sit down on a couch next to where people empty themselves but to each their own.
Quality chillaxing time for sure

It was an amazing experience! Me and my family ordered 6 items and left very full and satisfied, the bathroom surprised me, my sister, and my mom seeing as it looked VERY beautiful, and left laughing, why? My sister and mom both got confused seeing as there was a "Slowly wave hand to flush" and they just stood there, waving at the sign slowly 🤣

Poor Service and Skimpy Portions
I had a frustrating experience at Chipotle. I waited over 15 minutes just to pay, which is ridiculous for a fast-casual spot. When I finally got my food, the chicken and avocado portions were disappointingly small, especially for the price. While the food tasted good, the poor service and lack of value make it unlikely I'll return.

I’m not sure if there were some changes but I’ve never had such full portions of the bowl before. I asked for extra rice and the guy was nice enough to not just add one but two extra scoops! The serving for the beef brisket is one spoonful and it was a lot. Struggled finishing it but I managed to. The service was also excellent and the lunch time crew were nice in my opinion. By the way, they didn’t charge me extra for anything!!

I've noticed that for the past year and a half, every time I pass by the restaurant, it has been very dirty and filthy. There are often food and leftovers left on the tables, and the garbage bins are overflowing. Despite the many staff members working behind the counter, it seems that the tables are neglected. It's such a shame because I really like eating here; however, after today, I will be staying away. I can't even imagine what their kitchen looks like if none of the staff think it's important to keep cleaning throughout the day.
A few years ago, this was one of my go-to fast food restaurants. It was great! The food was healthy, the service was quick and inexpensive, and the staff were always pleasant, efficient, and nice. Additionally, it was cleaner than the locations in Toronto, as those locations are often dirty and messy.

I ordered Spicy Tonkotsu Miso ramen. The spice is very mild which can be improved. My ramen has egg, corns and the noodles is thicker and aldente. My husband got Hakata Tonktosu which has pork broth and thin noodles. The broth is rich and creamy. We also ordered Sapporo beer and Matcha sundae for dessert. It was a good combination of cold matcha ice cream, and hot mochi. It also has whipcream and cereal. Overall, loved the 2 ramens and the Sundae! Service is good and price is around 47 excluding tip. Area is kinda small.

Great little place for a decent ramen. I enjoyed the umami flavour, almost close to miso soup, of the shio chicken ramen. The karaake slightly lacked texture and was a bit soft.

I often come here for their Gyokai Tonkotsu Ramen, as the thick soup base makes it an unforgettable bowl. When I finish the noodles, the rich flavour of the soup prompts me to finish the soup; this time, it’s no exception. They also did a great job on the matcha sundae. The staff is friendly, and everything is quite authentic, as if I were in Japan.

Came here with friends and it was an okay experience. The food wasn't too bad...Decent ramen but a bit pricey for what it was. 1.5 of our dishes were good. Mine was quite sweet tasting for ramen. The menu was a bit different and confusing to follow especially since you don't order directly with the waitress and on the paper slip. Beverages were interesting, creative but not our favorite. I think we were hoping for a more traditional ramen but this was definitely an experience! Quite small and crammed together which made it super warm inside.

There was no lineup when we came on the weekend and got seated right away. We ordered chai latte and vanilla latte with oat milk, and both were great. The crispy avocado and chicken waffles were amazing. Extra point for their spicy ketchup.

It’s shocking that this locale is closer to 4 stars instead of 5 as I found it to be a 5 star experience across the board.
The staff were super attentive and nice. I had turned my waffle chicken Benny into a bowl and did not interpret the removal of bread and fruit to also mean the waffle was gone. The manager/owner overheard my question and added waffles on the side at no extra charge. Super cool of him!
The food is also phenomenal. Waffle was super fluffy, chicken juicy and crunchy, and the beignets were better than those we just at Disney World. Actually full and fluffy. I found the potatoes to be a bit perfume-y but I still ate them all. Would likely opt for the tots next time but not a complaint. Wife loved her crispy avocado Benny.
Really recommend checking it out if you’re in town before they close. Good luck to the new waitress!

Yolks never fails to provide a tasty meal. I normally opt for one of their scrumptious eggs bennies or their incredible French toast when I get a hankering for something sweet however this time I decided to try something different and went for their smash brunchy burger. Excellent taste and great combination of crunchy smashed tot, crispy bacon, and pickled red onions. My one tiny note would be that I had hoped the burger would have been a bit more on the "smashed" side, but that didn't detract from its quality. It came with a great little salad and I went with the tots that were wonderfully crunchy. Yolk's maintains its reputation as a top tier breakfast and brunch locale and is worth the visit.

Got the benny set with crispy pork belly.
I give credit where credit is due: splendid tots and house spicy ketchup, good tea, overall nice seasoning of the bennies. The other food items looked tempting enough for a second visit.
However the fruits were neither ripe nor sweet, not even fresh. The pit area of the grapes was a bit wilted. And the pork belly, while tasted okay, was very tough on the knife and hard to bite down. My knife pressed the muffin bun paper thin when trying to slice the pork.

If you're seeing this review, you're probably wondering "gosh darn, why is it rated so poorly?", well let me tell you.
The food and drinks were great! Nachos? Spectacular! Margaritas? Superb! Tacos? Wait, where are my tacos?
Please tell me how our tacos took over 30 minutes to make. We were one of the only 2 parties in the restaurant at the time. We ordered our drinks, nachos, and tacos. The drinks and nachos arrived on time, but the tacos didn't show up until waaay after we finished our nachos.
We then asked the server for an update on our tacos and she came back to tell us it'd take another 10 minutes. Mind you, this is 30 minutes after we already placed our order.
She asked us if we would like another round of drinks while we waited, so we obliged.
The tacos came, they were great, we paid and left. Only later did I realize the drinks were not on the house (Our guest paid the table's bill for us, so I didn't find out until I inquired later).
I find it disrespectful that we experienced unusually regretful delays in our order and were not appropriately compensated. Without apologizing and owning up to this mistake, this makes it seem as if this incident is the norm here.
I love La Taqueria, and I've never been let down by their food for years. Until now that is. It's a shame that our happy hour experience was not as happy as it should've been.
I cannot in good faith recommend this location based on this experience. Hopefully no one else's tacos will be lost in the kitchen as ours were.
The real kick in the shin was seeing a new party show up, place their order, and watching them receive their tacos in a timely manner. Wish that was us.

We’ve been coming to La Taqueria for years and it’s always been one of our favorite spots, so we were really surprised by tonight’s experience. We ordered tacos separately, but they all arrived on one plate, which felt a bit off. On top of that, the tacos came without any of their usual toppings, and after asking for them to be added back, they returned cold and still missing key elements like the black beans on the new chicharrone taco(which we were specifically coming to try tonight) . The salsas were also brought out so late that we were already halfway through our meal. We know this isn’t the norm for La Taqueria, and we’ve always loved the quality and care that goes into the food here, so this visit felt a little disappointing. We’d love the chance to come back and enjoy the experience we’re used to — hopefully with everything back to the high standard that makes this place so special!

The food here is always delicious with each bite rather enjoyable and the service is very pleasing. The spicy picks aren’t too spicy but aren’t bland either and I love how quick they bring out your order. The servers are attentive but are not overly annoying like some establishments. Everything is also decently priced which makes me quite happy.
