Came here for their Abolone and Lobster Special Menu, which is $68.80 per person. Had it once before earlier in the year and was very impressed so decided to come back for a special occasion.
The service here is always amazing and very attentive. Everyone that works here is super courteous and gives great service.
The food is also really good. Each course is cooked properly and is delicious. Ingredients including seafood used are very fresh. My only tiny issue is that the dishes I had this time were all a tad under-seasoned compared to last time. Otherwise, this is a very nice restaurant with good food and fantastic service.

Came here for dinner and food was well presented and delicious.
The servers are very professional and always come to check on you to change your plate when it's dirty or to refill your tea.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.

The dim sum at Kirin Restaurant is exceptionally good! Every item I ordered was delicious and exceeded my expectations. The shrimp dumplings were perfectly steamed with fresh, juicy shrimp, and the siu mai had a great balance of flavors. The beef balls were tender and flavorful, and the highlight for me was the pork belly with preserved vegetables – it was simply awesome, with the perfect mix of savory and tender. If you're a dim sum lover, this place is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

We booked 10am and when we get there -5 9:50, it’s already packed with bunch of people! Rmb to make reservations otherwise you may not be able to get a table!
Highly recommend the 魚蓉炸兩!!! We encored it! Also the stuffed eggplant, it was really delicious with the sauce which is not just a simple soy sauce!

We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with the White Spot Club Sandwich, Fish & Chips and the classic Egg Benedict! It was soo good However the coffee we ordered was bad, it was cold and tasted watery.
I must say our server Kamila was fabulous, she kept visiting our table, we had mentioned to have our items served without bacon and she made sure our food restrictions were heard. She was very attentive and deserves a raise! Koodos to her!

It took awhile before a server came to take our lunch order, and we had to ask for ice water. While our server was efficient, our group had to ask for things like coffee refills (rather than them being proactive). My Prawn & Avocado Bowl was nicely presented and had a good variety of ingredients (bacon, smashed potatoes, toast, prawns, avocado, poached eggs and hollandaise). It had good colour. The eggs were a bit too runny for my personal preference, but was good to coat the potatoes in! The bacon was also cooked well, and was not shrivelled nor greasy.
The Strawberry Rhubarb Pie was much larger than what was pictured in the menu, and it did have a good tart flavour. However, it was quite saucy on the inside and we would've preferred if the strawberries & rhubarb filling was thicker and held together better. The vanilla bean ice cream also melted fast! Ample parking in the mall lot.

My friends dad took 5 of us here for dinner since he's been a regular here for many years. Very busy here on a Friday night with ppl still lining up at the door on a heavy rainy night. Everything we ordered was delicious. The one dish I've never tried was the salted pork on rice in stone pot. Very tasty. I definitely will bring my wife and kids here one day.

Friendly service—they keep checking up on your table and are always refilling tea and water. The food came out quickly and was still extremely hot. Every dish was amazing and tasted really good! The two standout dishes were the fried crispy pork ribs and the cream sauce shrimp noodle. Highly recommend!

This little (not so little) gem was a pure coincidence discovery for us. The place from the outside looks very low key, we didn't even think it was a restaurant, rather an unassuming business... Well, it turned out to be a delightful hidden gem of a restaurant!
The service was above-par, everyone is very respectful and courteous. From the manager, who greeted us at the entrance, all the way to the person clearing our plates. We were treated with a lot of courtesy and respect.
Oh and there's no music in the restaurant, which is a rather welcome change.
The food was simply delicious. Everything we ordered was cleaned off the plates, even the marinades and sauces. Their duck is one of the best I've tasted recently, and their soup dumplings are a wonderful blend of flavors.
A highly recommended place honestly, and it just goes to show that sometimes a coincidence can lead to a beautiful discovery.

Have been coming here for a while but it’s been a few years since I’ve last been. Quality has not changed - still good flavours and we left very satisfied. Service is average, atmosphere is good. Highly recommend. We loved the radish cakes especially.

I made a reservation but we still wait almost a hour to get seats. Very busy at dinner time. The food is good. The famous dish is deep fried duck with Taro. I love taro so much, the duck meat wasn’t a lot between the taro, but it is a yummy dish. I also ordered the special one lobster with vermicelli in the pot. The lobster was fresh. Another good dish was black cod with ground pork, I like it. The ribs and shrimps with walnut are kids’s favorite because both are sweet dishes. The steam and pay fired pork buns are good. Overall, the tasty or food are good, I will go back to eat.the only one I don’t like the appetizer was chicken with wine sauce. The tasty was bitter. The rest of dishes enjoyed eating.

Walking into Silkway Halal Cuisine, you're greeted by a wide range of menu items offering authentic Halal Chinese dishes. You may find a hint of Indian fusion.
The atmosphere is simple, focusing mainly on the food. Some dishes are great, bursting with flavor and leaving you satisfied, while others might not be as consistent at different days. It's like a food adventure where you might find something amazing.
The servings are big, perfect for those who love hearty meals. But keep in mind, the prices are on the higher side.
The server was nice and courteous with us. The service was on the slower side but okay.
Despite some ups and downs in taste and the average atmosphere, Silkway Halal Cuisine is one of the top Halal Chinese restaurants in the BC lower mainland. It's a place where you can find variety and enjoy Halal dining, making it worth a visit for those seeking these culinary experiences.

We were group of seven people. So, I personally was eager to go and try their meals. Always wanted to try Chineses cuisine. But I only prefer Halal options, which this place offers. The ambience is really classic and nice.

We weren't sure what to expect when we got to the restaurant as it opened. The servers were still getting ready for dinner service. It looked kind of chaotic. They told us they would be right there to help us...um... we were getting nervous, this might not be a good choice. Once we sat down, though, the service was quick, and the food came out pretty quick as well. We started off with the lamb slices and pickled cabbage. We all had a couple of bowls, but I finished most of it. Lamb slices were so tender, and the pickled cabbage soup had a good level of sourness. The goat chops were really good. Good fat content and meat ratio so the chops melted in our mouths. We also ordered the sweet and sour fish. Although it had a lot of batter, it was crispy and the fish kept its upright shape! We also had the beef burgers and a veggie. We were surprised it was way better than we thought. They were a short staffed but the servers did their best to provide good service. They even tried to accommodate a family party by moving them around a couple of times to where they wanted to sit. It was busy, and they did their best to accommodate.

The server, I guess she is the owner was very friendly and funny. She recommended what to try since it was our first time there. We tried chicken fried rice with sizzling beef and kung pao chicken. The food was delicious and definitely hit all the taste buds. It’s a 10/10 place for all Chinese food lovers.

I had a great dining experience at Cactus Club Cafe in Richmond. I've visited Cactus on several locations, but this is the first time I felt happy to return. My food was delayed a bit because the white rice wasn’t ready yet, but the waitress was incredibly polite and offered me the option to wait 20 minutes or choose an alternative rice. I was perfectly fine with switching, and what really surprised me was when the waitress came back to apologize and offered me a free dessert for the wait. That was a lovely gesture!
Our server, Elise M., was also very attentive and cheerful, making sure we had everything we needed. I want to give her a special thanks for making our night enjoyable. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience with my friends and look forward to going back!

**Delicious Food and Exceptional Service at Cactus Club Cafe Richmond**
Cactus Club Cafe in Richmond is a must-visit restaurant if you're in the area. The atmosphere is vibrant and colorful, setting the perfect mood for any occasion. The menu offers a fantastic variety of food and drinks, with something to satisfy every palate. I highly recommend their Epic IPA—it's simply delicious. My personal favorite is the Cajun chicken burger with yam fries, a dish that never disappoints.
The location is also very convenient, with easy access by bus and SkyTrain, and plenty of free parking available. After enjoying a meal, you can even take a stroll over to Richmond Center Mall for some shopping.
What truly sets this place apart, though, is the outstanding service. The staff are incredibly friendly and fun, making every dining experience special. I’ve had the pleasure of being served by Jennifer, Noah, and Jacob, all of whom are professional and ensure your food is made just right.
Cactus Club Cafe has maintained its delicious taste and high standards for over 20 years, and I highly recommend everyone give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful and cozy environment. Consistent decent food quality. Friendly and welcoming staff. Quick and professional services. Cactus Club is always a good choice of place to sit down and chat with friends!
Pricing is a little pricey but definitely worthy for the overall experience and especially for the outstanding services!

Mmm I wouldn’t say the food was that bad but they did switch me and my friend’s steak wellness, I wanted rare and she wanted medium rare, but I got medium rare and she got rare. It wasn’t that bad but I did think my steak was a little burnt on the outside which was harder to chew, the lobster I had was also wayyy too salty, it just tasted like sea water, other than that the other stuff was fine and the drinks were fine but we learned we don’t like margaritas that much.
But the server we had was very nice and attentive so the service was good.

I went upstairs after a Lego event downstairs. It was my first time eating at their renovated food court upstairs.
I saw on their digital menu that they are offering a manager special “Mama burger combo for $7.99” That’s unheard of during these times. I gladly lined up. Service was extra friendly and organized. The thing was it was ALMOST a 5 star. I was just surprised the mama burger seemed to have shrunk a touch… it’s not what I remembered. However, the quality is top notch. Normally this combo is $14. Still an excellent deal. 😬👍

Food was a 3.75. I rounded up for the actual stars.
The popcorn was good not memorable. Sauteed gai lan was cooked well. It was seasoned well and has a good crunch still. The beef short ribs were a little tough. The flavor on these were underwhelming.
All the food was just luke warm. Crank up them lamps and chaffing troughs.

I tried three dishes here, and the prices were very reasonable. The noodles were especially great, with a portion size that exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and made the experience enjoyable. Overall, a good spot for a satisfying meal at a fair price.

This place had me at the Stewed Pigs Feet. Great taste and the sauce is not overly thick.
The Stir-Fried Beef and Onion was too salty. Would not order that again.
Staff spoke English and fairly friendly. $8.99 for 2 items on white rice, fried rice or noodles. $9.50 for 3 items. Everything comes with either soup or tea.
The crab are prepared to 6 different flavours starting at $12. The Ginger & Onion crab was amazingly tasty.
Located in the Richmond Public Market.

Took advantage of their unlimited topping for $8.88 promotion and for a chain restaurant, the pizza was pretty good, though it looks like they skimp on the amount of topping they put on the pizza. The ones on display in the counter sure looks like it has more toppings than the pizzas I got. The wings were also really good, not soggy like other pizza places. The staff was really nice and friendly.

It's great that you can taste a slice of pizza at a low price.
It's everywhere I go.
It tastes good and I like it because it's always warm.
If you eat a combo for a meal, it's good to give you two big sizes of pizza and eat a big cup of unlimited refill drink!!!

Here’s a review of my recent visit to Bubble Fruity 🍧:
Wide Variety of Desserts 🍮🍰: Bubble Fruity offers a vast array of desserts, from traditional Chinese treats (hot/cold) 🥢 to snacks like fried noodles 🍜, toasts, and sandwiches 🥪.
Fresh and High-Quality Ingredients 🥭🍓: They create delicious and refreshing desserts using only the freshest ingredients 🌱!
Ambiance 🍵: This dessert house has a Hong Kong-style atmosphere 🇭🇰. The place is often packed, but it’s a great spot for hangouts and dates 💕.
Friendly and Attentive Service 😊: The staff are super friendly, attentive, and happy to help with any customization options you might need 🥰.
However, there are a few things to note:
Long Wait Times ⏳: Popular items like snow ice 🍧 and waffle sandwiches 🧇 can have long wait times, especially during peak hours.
Prices 💰: Some desserts may be a bit pricier than others in the area, but trust me, the quality justifies the cost! 💸
Unannounced Holiday 🛫: They were closed for the whole month, which makes sense since it’s a home business 🏠—everyone needs a break! 🌴
Menu Highlights 🌟:
Hot Black Sesame Paste 🍧
Hot Tofu Pudding 🍮
Conclusion 🎉:
Bubble Fruity Dessert House in Richmond is a must-visit for dessert lovers! With a wide variety of options, fresh ingredients, and a Hong Kong-style atmosphere, it’s a great spot to satisfy your sweet tooth 🍭. Be prepared for potential wait times ⏰, but the quality and taste make it well worth the visit! 😋

HK style OG dessert place, ran by family owned biz... Well they also have OG style spam and eggs instant noodles. If you're from HK you would know what I'm talking about. Nothing like chains that are all fancy, sometimes places like these are places that bring back how traditional Chinese dessert places were like. Nothing fancy, but the simple stuff we ate when we're young/back home. I might be wrong, but I think they make their own black sesame dumplings etc. Sorry, not many pics, got too excited eating my favorite fluffy cream toast, although that might be Taiwanese, but it's simple like and gets satisfies my craving!
Only flaw, cash only and they don't take emt or have an atm, but few stores down is HSBC...

Fantastic ramen!!! Noodle was cooked to perfection and the broth is so flavorful! I ordered the large and couldn’t finish it. Portion is quite big. Gyoza is also very good! Crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside.

3.5/5. Shio Ramen Review: it’s decent, rich broth with just the right amount of flavour. Cha siu: not bad, though inconsistent: some pieces are “melt in your mouth” delicious yet some are on the tough leathery chewy side. Recommend with sticking to just a medium: after halfway the remaining noodles just get boring and is an exercise to finish. The environment is nice but they play an irritating jazz piano song on repeat which spoils the mood.

Wow!! Absolutely delicious! Literally tastes like from a shop in Japan. Super authentic Japanese taste and amazing quality. The tsukemen broth was flavourful and the texture of the noodles were bouncy and firm. When you finish the noodles you can ask for complimentary broth to dilute your tsukemen dipping sauce turning it into a rich soup.
The Ikura Gohan looked beautiful with orange pearls of salmon eggs on rice. The Toroniku shio ramen was also fantastic with tender pork jowl and their broth was so complex and rich in umami flavour. The Japanese cream soda was refreshing and actually like a cream soda float with a scoop of ice cream on top.
Would definitely come back for more as it’s one of the best ramen I’ve tried in the area.

how can their ramen taste so salty yet bland?
each bite i take gets saltier and saliter and yet the taste of miso isnt present, even though i ordered miso ramen. the bamboo shoots also tastedvery canned and gross.
their noodles also tasted like instant noodles, and theie salmon in that salmon rice bowl was dry and bland along with their not so fresh salmon roe.
however their melon soda was fine

The gyoza and also the ramen were a bit salty for me but still quite tasty and flavorful. I came in during happy hour and it quite empty at that time. Staffs were so welcoming and friendly. They are having good deals for student if you carry student ID which can be a free ramen. So make sure to check them out before it ends.
