When in Richmond BC, you need to hit up a dim sum spot at least once. During this visit, we visited Kirin. It's probably been a very long time since I've been here. The atmosphere is nice and packed with people. The quality of the dim sum here is great and there were unique items that I haven't seen before. The service is top notch and attentive. I liked that they offer two sets of chopsticks, one use for getting food from the center of the table and the other for personal use. They also order two tea pots (one with extra hot water). These little items help make the experience enjoyable. Their deep fried taro was exceptional great. The exterior had a really good texture and taste that I've haven't experienced before.

We have been to Kirin downtown on Alberni but have never been to this location in Richmond. We were staying in a hotel nearby for the night and wanted to have a nice dinner and thought it would be a good opportunity to come here. They had a huge menu. We ordered Peking duck two ways - duck craved and wrapped in thin pancake, and duck minced and wrapped in lettuce. They were both good. Service and atmosphere were much nice than the downtown one. It was our best dining experiences at a Chinese restaurant in 2024.

Came here for dinner and food was well presented and delicious. The servers are very professional and always come to check on you to change your plate when it's dirty or to refill your tea. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys Chinese food.

We came here for a dinner with another family on Sunday night. The food quality was fine, just like at other White Spots. Kids had their Pirate Packs while we ordered the Legendary Burger and Chicken Tenders. Endless sides as usual in case you're hungry! Once we sat down, the servers were good too. But since they didn't have a lot of servers, we had to wait 20 mins to get seated for a table of 8. You also can't make reservations here unlike other White Spot locations. And this was at 5pm .. the start of the dinner rush. So be prepared to wait! We liked how it was inside Richmond Centre, across from Cactus Club, so we could stroll around after the meal. But parking was hard to find so plan accordingly.

My experience on Monday, Nov 18, 2024 was very good. First , Katerina was very nice. And then they have fast food service. She politely waited so that we can think about what we want. There was a fireplace for people and it was kid friendly. Katerina was also very friendly. There is a separate menu for kids and adults. I have some pictures down below. I wish I could give this a 7 star review.

We ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo with the White Spot Club Sandwich, Fish & Chips and the classic Egg Benedict! It was soo good However the coffee we ordered was bad, it was cold and tasted watery. I must say our server Kamila was fabulous, she kept visiting our table, we had mentioned to have our items served without bacon and she made sure our food restrictions were heard. She was very attentive and deserves a raise! Koodos to her!

My friends dad took 5 of us here for dinner since he's been a regular here for many years. Very busy here on a Friday night with ppl still lining up at the door on a heavy rainy night. Everything we ordered was delicious. The one dish I've never tried was the salted pork on rice in stone pot. Very tasty. I definitely will bring my wife and kids here one day.

Friendly service—they keep checking up on your table and are always refilling tea and water. The food came out quickly and was still extremely hot. Every dish was amazing and tasted really good! The two standout dishes were the fried crispy pork ribs and the cream sauce shrimp noodle. Highly recommend!

This little (not so little) gem was a pure coincidence discovery for us. The place from the outside looks very low key, we didn't even think it was a restaurant, rather an unassuming business... Well, it turned out to be a delightful hidden gem of a restaurant! The service was above-par, everyone is very respectful and courteous. From the manager, who greeted us at the entrance, all the way to the person clearing our plates. We were treated with a lot of courtesy and respect. Oh and there's no music in the restaurant, which is a rather welcome change. The food was simply delicious. Everything we ordered was cleaned off the plates, even the marinades and sauces. Their duck is one of the best I've tasted recently, and their soup dumplings are a wonderful blend of flavors. A highly recommended place honestly, and it just goes to show that sometimes a coincidence can lead to a beautiful discovery.

Four of us went for dinner and enjoyed the food immensely. Bean Curd, Smoked Duck and Steamed fish and Hot and Sour soup was superb. Service was very friendly and unrushed. I'd certainly go back again.

Great place for Chinese food. The menu is extensive with my options. The XLB buns are freshly made in front of you through the glass partition. Unless you arrive right when they open, I'd highly recommend a reservation. It gets busy and can be quite loud. All the server's are very professional and attentive. I visit this place everytime I'm in Richmond. Never disappoints.

The best authentic sichun chinese restaurant in Richmond Canada. When we visit to BC, having lunch a couple day on this restaurant. Food potions are enough for 3 people. Price are affordable and very friendly customers service. We ordered 12 different dishes, every single dish has different flavor and super delicious.

Many items on the menu were sold out at 6:30pm Friday night, which was frustrating. While the food itself was as good as usual, it was overshadowed by the overall atmosphere. The noise level was unbearable, primarily due to a large, rowdy group that seemed to have taken over the place. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t seem to acknowledge the disruption or take any steps to address it. It felt like they didn’t care about the experience of other patrons at all. I hope they can improve on their service and atmosphere in the future, because I really do love their food. But until then, I won’t be returning anytime soon.

We weren't sure what to expect when we got to the restaurant as it opened. The servers were still getting ready for dinner service. It looked kind of chaotic. They told us they would be right there to help us...um... we were getting nervous, this might not be a good choice. Once we sat down, though, the service was quick, and the food came out pretty quick as well. We started off with the lamb slices and pickled cabbage. We all had a couple of bowls, but I finished most of it. Lamb slices were so tender, and the pickled cabbage soup had a good level of sourness. The goat chops were really good. Good fat content and meat ratio so the chops melted in our mouths. We also ordered the sweet and sour fish. Although it had a lot of batter, it was crispy and the fish kept its upright shape! We also had the beef burgers and a veggie. We were surprised it was way better than we thought. They were a short staffed but the servers did their best to provide good service. They even tried to accommodate a family party by moving them around a couple of times to where they wanted to sit. It was busy, and they did their best to accommodate.

The food is extremely delicious - way better than most other restaurants I have been to. I absolutely love the Cajun chicken sandwich - my all time favourite dish. I love the New York Cheesecake too. I recently visited Cactus Cafe in Richmond, and it was a fantastic experience! The vegan burger was simply excellent – packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Their chicken tacos were equally impressive, with tender chicken and fresh toppings that made each bite delightful. I had a great dining experience at Cactus Club Cafe in Richmond. I've visited Cactus on several locations, but this is the first time I felt happy to return. My food was delayed a bit because the white rice wasn’t ready yet, but the waitress was incredibly polite and offered me the option to wait 20 minutes or choose an alternative rice. I was perfectly fine with switching, and what really surprised me was when the waitress came back to apologize and offered me a free dessert for the wait. That was a lovely gesture! Our server, Elise M., was also very attentive and cheerful, making sure we had everything we needed. I want to give her a special thanks for making our night enjoyable. Overall, I had a wonderful dining experience with my friends and look forward to going back!

I highly recommend their Epic IPA—it's simply delicious. My personal favorite is the Cajun chicken burger with yam fries, a dish that never disappoints. I went upstairs after a Lego event downstairs. It was my first time eating at their renovated food court upstairs. I saw on their digital menu that they are offering a manager special “Mama burger combo for $7.99” That’s unheard of during these times. I gladly lined up. Service was extra friendly and organized. The thing was it was ALMOST a 5 star. I was just surprised the mama burger seemed to have shrunk a touch… it’s not what I remembered. However, the quality is top notch. Normally this combo is $14. Still an excellent deal. 😬👍

I love A&W and always feel bad for the staff here who are constantly swarmed with orders. Service is a little slow for this reason, but I think the quality is great for the price. Much better chicken than crusty KFC next door.

Food was a 3.75. I rounded up for the actual stars. The popcorn was good not memorable. Sauteed gai lan was cooked well. It was seasoned well and has a good crunch still. The beef short ribs were a little tough. The flavor on these were underwhelming. All the food was just luke warm. Crank up them lamps and chaffing troughs.

This place had me at the Stewed Pigs Feet. Great taste and the sauce is not overly thick. The Stir-Fried Beef and Onion was too salty. Would not order that again. Staff spoke English and fairly friendly. $8.99 for 2 items on white rice, fried rice or noodles. $9.50 for 3 items. Everything comes with either soup or tea. The crab are prepared to 6 different flavours starting at $12. The Ginger & Onion crab was amazingly tasty. Located in the Richmond Public Market.

The multi dishes meal set is unexpected delicious on that price around 13 for 3 dishes. All dishes are fresh cooked. It can come with fried rice or white rice, also come with a cup of Chinese soup. Good deal Great taste

Took advantage of their unlimited topping for $8.88 promotion and for a chain restaurant, the pizza was pretty good, though it looks like they skimp on the amount of topping they put on the pizza. The ones on display in the counter sure looks like it has more toppings than the pizzas I got. The wings were also really good, not soggy like other pizza places. The staff was really nice and friendly.

Small and cozy little dessert place with a few tables and a restroom. The restroom was clean. Service was pretty quick. The food was great, we had a few of us, had a variety of orders, the tang yuan was very good, my nieces and I loved the garlic toast; the garlic toast was literally fine minced garlic and bread, toasted crunchy yet soft, simple yet delicious. The mango sago was great. Tofu was nice as well. All in all, the desserts were amazing. The place itself was small, tight, yet comfortable. There was a line for orders to go, from inside to outside the store. Definitely recommend, when you're in the area.

HK style OG dessert place, ran by family owned biz... Well they also have OG style spam and eggs instant noodles. If you're from HK you would know what I'm talking about. Nothing like chains that are all fancy, sometimes places like these are places that bring back how traditional Chinese dessert places were like. Nothing fancy, but the simple stuff we ate when we're young/back home. I might be wrong, but I think they make their own black sesame dumplings etc. Sorry, not many pics, got too excited eating my favorite fluffy cream toast, although that might be Taiwanese, but it's simple like and gets satisfies my craving! Only flaw, cash only and they don't take emt or have an atm, but few stores down is HSBC...

The waitress was impatient and gave us an attitude when she took our order. Even though they took the right order (#89), they put the wrong item (for order #87) in our takeout bag, which we found out too late… Another customer is probably disappointed when they open their bag and found a durian sago cream instead of coconut black sticky rice dish… 😂

Fantastic ramen!!! Noodle was cooked to perfection and the broth is so flavorful! I ordered the large and couldn’t finish it. Portion is quite big. Gyoza is also very good! Crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside.

3.5/5. Shio Ramen Review: it’s decent, rich broth with just the right amount of flavour. Cha siu: not bad, though inconsistent: some pieces are “melt in your mouth” delicious yet some are on the tough leathery chewy side. Recommend with sticking to just a medium: after halfway the remaining noodles just get boring and is an exercise to finish. The environment is nice but they play an irritating jazz piano song on repeat which spoils the mood.

We love Hokkaido ramen, and we are in Richmond, so we went to their new location. Same awesome service like the other locations. Decor is good too. Food quality are same as their other locations. Chashu are great. Ramen not over cooked, but still has great flavour We love this place and we will keep going back

I've been to a different location where the ambience was dark and moody, but this location was quite bright and cheerful. They even have a section of the place dedicated to Japanese goods. The food was quite good, I got a shio ramen with ajitama.
