We made a stop here before heading to Victoria and this place is incredible!
🥘FOOD🥘: 8/10
We ordered 20 + dim sums and they are all delicious!
Quality: My favorite gonna be the rice rolls with Chinese donuts, and Shu Mai! The size of the Shu Mai were triple the size of the Shu Mai in Seatle. The other dim sums were spectacular as well, like the chives cake, spring rolls and the cheong fun are all delicious!
Appearance: All food look excellent, I love the way the present the food, it makes them look very appealing and take a look at the picture of the osmanthus cake, that is gorgeous!
Portion size: Great and generous portions, Couldn't have asked for a bigger portion! We were so full afterall.
Price: the 7 of us paid $200 in total and it was so worth it, rounding up to about $22 USD per person! Definitely a great deal!
🧑🏻 Service🧑🏻: 8/10
Friendliness: shout out to Cindy, she is amazing and she has been so kind and nice to us. I love how she was very attentive and changed my plate filled with tea before I noticed that!
Timeliness: we didn't wait too long for the food to get here so in general the dim sum came super fast, maybe within 8mins after we placed the order! And mind you we went during peak hours like around 11AM!
Environment: Very bright locations with many windows and enough lighting! I also love their design, very modern and classic. The environment is also very clean too!
Location: Great location with many of parkings, well we actually parked at the wrong parking lot and have to walk to Aberdeen mall. But it was really close. Haha I was stupid that I didn't know fisherman terrace is on the 3rd floor and I have to ask a staff in the bakery on the 1st floor!

This place is packed. Appointment is recommended. Good Chinese food!
We had dim sum today. All were pretty good except the 炸兩. The 炸兩 was not crunchy at all, it tastes like it's from yesterday.

I am from San Francisco Bay Area, I know exactly good Chinese food is supposed to be. I tried the Dim Sum first, it was delicious and reasonably priced. I decided to visit them same day for dinner, whole family were very happy with it, especially the soup and roast suckling pig are the bomb. We even came back next day for dinner and ordered twice amount the same dishes. The place was extremely busy maybe it’s holiday season, the servers were kind of rush but we totally understand. We definitely will come back to this place again when next trip in Vancouver, by the way, this is the first Chinese restaurant I ever been made halibut very tasty.😋 Convert to American dollars and compare to San Francisco, I think it’s very reasonable compared to koi Palace.( average 50-60 usa dollars per person)

Enjoyed a big Thanksgiving dim sum meal with 22 family and friends. Ordered all the usuals and they were great as always. Staff are very attentive and quick. Service was quick. My favourite dim sum in Richmond.

If you find yourself in the Aberdeen food court, you'll probably see a bunch of people ordering chicken wings from this place.
The 6 pc chicken wings is $15.5 (cash only) and comes with perfectly crispy (albeit oily) whole chicken wings. Definitely a must order.
Penny Rusty Sophie - 6 months ago
I love this place for chicken wings. My order was for 3 wings but in other places they would count the flat piece as one and the drumstick as another so really I got 6 pieces. I absolutely love the wing tip as well so I love that this place gives you the WHOLE wing!! And the iced coffee was delish! Just the right amount of sweetness. This will always be my go too at this food court.

This place offers nostalgic HK food. Menu has a wide variety of noodles and snacks to choose from at a low price.
Their deep fried chicken wings are a must try. Super crispy and cooked just right.
Iced lemon tea is also a must try. Not too sour and the tea just bitter enough.
Service is good as their staff are all friendly and polite. Food is served rather quickly as well.
Is cash only.
10/10 would recommend giving them a visit especially for the chicken wings.

One of our go to food stall at Aberdeen Centre. The Noodle Combo with Ice Lemon Tea for $10 is the best deal at the food court. Noodle dish is consistently delicious.
Their Fried Chickens Wings are also amazing. Tender and crispy batter. Seasoned to perfection. Great additional with any of their meals.
Like a lot of the places in Richmond; they only take cash.

Best fried chicken at Aberdeen, always fresh each time. Nice and fresh! Good alternative if you want to try something different than KFC or the Asian KFC.

The pizza and lasagna is amazing! I love that they add so much cheese in the lasagna. The pizza dough is also very good. The pizza makers were very nice.

It took us a while to find the place but it’s really worth the trouble. We were greeted by Abbas the chef and made sure we try his best pizzas. The Spicy Beef was phenomenal! I recommend visiting this place if you need a pizza fix 😊

Great pizza joint to grab a slice or two of wood fired pizzas. 🔥
Came here on a Friday night to grab a bite and they had a decent selection of cooked pizzas.
I got the Hawaiian and Spicy Beef and they re-heated it for me on the wood fire oven. Both were very good and the crust was great! There was little to no flop on the pizza which is good.
I will definitely come back here again when I'm craving pizza by the slice and in the Richmond area! 🍕

Awesome wood fired pizza super tasty and a good selection of drinks. The seating is at a counter looking out at Aberdeen station so if you like to people watch and eat great pizza this is the place for you. About $5 CA a slice; very affordable. I am pretty sure they do full pizzas too. Thanks for the great food.

**Romilano Pizza Restaurant Review**
If you're near Aberdeen Station in Richmond and your stomach starts to rumble like an untamed lion, head over to Romilano Pizza Restaurant. This place is a hidden gem, and getting there is as easy as pie, with the added bonus of lightning-fast service that leaves you feeling like you've just hit the culinary jackpot.
The prices won't have you feeling like you've been taken to the cleaners, either. They're pretty reasonable, which is always a pleasant surprise. But let's talk about the main event: the pizza. Each slice is a flavor explosion, like a fireworks show for your taste buds. The ingredients are fresh and the flavors are bold, making every bite a delightful adventure.
I walked out of there with a smile on my face and a happy, pizza-filled belly. Romilano Pizza is definitely the place to go if you're in the area and want a meal that's as satisfying as finding a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.

It was our first time trying Korean BBQ, and we absolutely loved it. The Galbi BBQ was incredibly tasty.
We also really enjoyed the Galbi-Jim. It was so tender and perfectly cooked that the meat fell right off the bone. These were the best beef ribs we’ve had in the Greater Vancouver area.
Since it was our first visit, we didn’t know how big the portions would be and ended up ordering too much food for just the two of us.

I would personally rate this place and its servers a perfect ten stars!
I visited on Sunday and ordered the lunch special, which offered incredible value and delicious flavors. On top of that, the entire staff was kind, attentive, and professional throughout.
I only wish they would open a location in Surrey or Langley as well!

Nestled in the end of the first level of Aberdeen Centre, and conveniently by H-Mart, you have the very popular Sura! There are often long waits which has prevented me from trying it before. The restaurant is quite lively and if you are lucky to get a window seat, you could even do a little people watching of patrons coming in and out of the mall. The food was a little bit of a letdown. The pork bone soup was good, but not sure it was that much better than Cherry's up in the food court. My stone bowl Bulgogi lacked flavour. The service was great though and I'd love to come back to try to BBQ.
Brian Shaler - 3 months ago
The service was attentive and friendly, which made the meal enjoyable. The staff ensured we had everything we needed and were helpful throughout. The lunch special offered good variety at a decent value, with a nice selection of meats and sides. However, while the meal was satisfying, the flavor could have been more memorable. Some of the dishes lacked the punch you’d expect from Korean BBQ, so there’s room for improvement in terms of taste.
Overall, Sura Korean BBQ is a solid choice for a quick lunch with good service,

- We overlooked that you have to sit on Japanese tatami-like mattresses with no back to lean on. It may be customary for Japanese and Koreans to sit like that, but not for us. We vacation in Japan and South Korea quite often, and whenever we see a restaurant that uses that, we go elsewhere. No matter how good your food may be, no suffering is worth it.
- just before we ordered, we asked one of the waitresses a very simple question. Pointing at #21 "Beef Short-Rib Soup" and #23 "Spicy Beef Soup," we asked: "Do both of these come with rice or noodle?" She couldn't answer. She stuttered for a few moment and spurted out two words: "potato noodles." Thinking of the potato noodles offered at the "Champion Potato Noodle" stand at food court upstairs, we thought, "Oh. Cool. We like those. Let's order those two."
What do you know, it turned out their "potato noodle" were very thin strands of Chinese equivalent of rice vermicelli 粉絲. WTH! That chopstick full is not enough to fill the stomach, babe. Luckily, both soups each DID came with a bowl of rice. You could have just said the one word, "Rice!" Sheesh.
Need more training, babe, especially in English. Just by a cute smile is not enough to be a waitress. 😅
- The $22 "Spicy Beef Soup" was pretty spicy, kimchi-like spicy. The taste was okay, but the ingredients were disappointing. They used shredded beef that had no meat taste and looked more like leftovers from soup after draining all its flavor. Big thumbs down on this!!
- The $22 "Beef Short-rib Soup" was surprisingly quite worth its price. We counted that there were exactly 12 pieces of ribs in that little bowl. It was quite a surprise. The broth, however, was too mild; a bit more flavor would have been better. This, I could recommend. But be sure to ask for salt.
FYI, upstairs Man Ri Sung and the nearby H-Mart's cafeteria offer similar dishes for half the price, minus the suffering due to the unforgiving seats. 😅
The menu footnotes mentioned that a "15% auto-gratuity" would be added to the bill, so we expected not to give a tip. When the bill arrived, however, no tip had been compulsorily added. Phew! They must have initially backfired when they forced tips on patrons and had to revert. 😅 Just be careful, peeps. Just in case they are trigger-happy, always check your bills!! These nasty tactics are becoming increasingly prevalent in GVA restaurants.

Good experience overall; I didn’t realize a Korean restaurant served Peking duck!
Flavour wise, the duck tasted great and was thick cut with small hand wraps. The skin wasn’t as crispy as I would hope for however.
The seafood pancake and short ribs were delicious, and the squid dish (stir fry?) was a highlight for our table. The soup dish was very salty on its own, but eating it with rice helped balance it out, and the flavour was good besides the saltiness.
Overall, a solid meal, with a nice mix of cuisines. I think however, for Korean food cravings specifically, I would consider another restaurant, but if one is interested in a mixed cuisine experience, definitely give this a try!

Visited there on the weekend to try their spicy seafood noodle soup. It is actually not that spicy after have tried different variations of it in different restaurants. The quality and quantity are well matched with prices (actually quantity > some of the other restaurants I have tried in other provinces). Very satisfied with their work. I think they’ll do very well if they keep up.

We had two orders of the BBQ Duck Combo for 6 pp - there were 15 of us and it was more than enough food. Overall, the food was okay; just not good quality Korean food in my opinion. The boil dumplings were nothing close to the delicious mandu I’ve had. The Peking Duck (a Chinese dish at a Korean restaurant???) was just cut up bbq duck with wraps…the meat was dry; so sad for this bbq duck fan! The seafood pancake was the restaurant’s first redemption; it was crispy top and bottom, just the way I like it and I know from experience that not all restaurants can get it right. The bbq LA short ribs were delicious, but they always are, no matter who makes them. The duck hotpot with cut noodles was very nice - the noodles were the perfect chewiness and the broth was flavourful. Some at the table, though, thought it to be too salty. The duck congee for sure was salty, but I loved the thick texture and full-flavour of it. The japchae was good, too, except for the soggy noodles. Anyway, you get the picture. Would I go back? Maybe for the pancake and congee.

Food was great! Lots of options and very well priced for the amount of food you get. Staff is super friendly, helpful, and attentive. Three of us shared cumin flavoured bbq beef and pork for 2, Bulgogi, and lemon chicken. I think it could have used some more sides with the meal, however we were all pretty satisfied at the end. Overall, I would recommend Man Ri Sung and would go back to try more options!

Went yesterday for lunch as walk-in. Restaurant wasn’t crowded but decently filled up with ample distancing between tables to make you feel safe and comfortable in the covid times.
Ordered the lunch combo for $36.99 which comes with 2 portions of noodles and 1 other dish of choice. We picked the seafood pancake after seeing raving reviews on that.
Generous portions of noodles arrived. AMAZING jamppong (seafood noodles) which had light yet flavorful seafood broth! Both of us being rather big eaters could only finish the jamppong noodles and 3/4 of the seafood pancake. Seafood pancake was thick, crispy on outside and fluffy and stuffed with seafood inside!
Did a takeout for the leftover for dinner, which made our meal worth it.
Washroom was also clean. There was only one server when we were there.

Yuan’s Hot Pot Richmond
Address: Aberdeen Centre, 4151 Hazelbridge Way #2792, 2F, Richmond, BC V6X 4J7
Yuan’s Hot Pot offers a delightful introduction to traditional Chinese hot pot, with a vast selection of skewers and soup bases that cater to a wide range of tastes. For our meal, we opted for a split pot featuring both a tomato broth and a non-spicy soup base, providing us with an opportunity to experience both flavors.
Food
Tomato and Non-Spicy Soup Base
Both soup bases were highly commendable, each offering its own distinct profile. The tomato broth was particularly aromatic, with a rich, savory depth that complemented the fresh ingredients perfectly. The non-spicy broth, while more understated, was delicately seasoned, offering a lighter contrast to the boldness of the tomato option. Both broths provided a flavorful foundation that allowed the ingredients to shine without overwhelming them.
Rating: 9/10
Skewers
We sampled an array of skewers, including pork intestines, spicy pork skin, black pepper beef, spiced beef (non-spicy), spicy pork tripe, pork kidney, spicy pork tenderloin, beef balls, beef tongue, beef tendon, numbing beef with cilantro, squid tentacles, squid carved sticks, shrimp, cuttlefish, and fish tofu. Each skewer was well-prepared and flavorful, with a good balance of spice and texture across the different options. While the portion sizes were on the smaller side, they were appropriately priced, making the overall experience feel like good value. The quality of the ingredients and variety offered make this a standout part of the meal.
Rating: 8/10
Side Dishes
We also ordered a variety of side dishes, including a vegetable platter, sliced lamb, sliced beef, and noodle soup with meat sauce. The portions were generous, though the vegetable platter offered limited variety. The noodle soup, however, stood out for its rich, satisfying flavor and was a highlight of the meal.
Rating: 8/10
Drink
The cilantro lime tea was a pleasant surprise, offering a refreshing and flavorful complement to the meal. It’s a drink I would highly recommend to anyone dining here.
Rating: 9/10
Service
The service at Yuan’s Hot Pot was exceptional. Our server was both knowledgeable and attentive, taking the time to thoroughly explain the menu and offer thoughtful recommendations. She regularly checked in on us to ensure we were enjoying our meal and even suggested we try the house-made sauces. The friendly and helpful demeanor of the entire staff enhanced the overall experience, making the service one of the restaurant’s strongest points.
Rating: 10/10
Ambiance
While the overall ambiance was clean and cozy, the experience was marred by the booth seating arrangement. The booths are connected, meaning that when the guests behind us moved, our seats shifted as well. This became a recurring annoyance throughout the meal and detracted from the comfort. Despite the appealing décor and warm atmosphere, this design flaw in the seating arrangement was a notable downside.
Rating: 5/10
Price
Despite the relatively small portions of the skewers, the pricing is quite reasonable for the quality and variety of the dishes offered. Yuan’s Hot Pot provides a good value, especially considering the rich flavors of the broths and the well-prepared skewers. It’s an affordable option for those seeking a satisfying hot pot experience in Richmond.
Verdict
Yuan’s Hot Pot delivers a solid dining experience, with well-balanced broths, a wide selection of skewers, and top-notch service. The attention to detail, particularly when refilling the broth with the exact type ordered rather than a generic broth or hot water, sets this restaurant apart from its competitors. However, the discomfort of the booth seating detracts from what could otherwise be an EXCEPTIONAL dining experience. Despite this flaw, Yuan’s Hot Pot remains a highly recommended option, and I look forward to returning to explore more of the menu.

We've discovered an authentic Chengdu-style hot pot where everything is on skewers -- meat, veggies, you name it!
It was our first time trying Chengdu hotpot 成都火鍋( (aka Sichuan hotpot 四川火鍋), and we did some homework beforehand. Chengdu hotpot stands out for its aromatic, complex flavours and less oily broth than the Chongqing style. Yuan's Hot Pot 袁记串串香 nailed it!
We ordered COMBO A ($83.99), meant for two, but honestly, it feels like a feast for three.
What's in COMBO A?
⭐️ 50+ skewers packed with meat and veggies
⭐️ Dual broth: House Special Spicy ~ Soup Base & Pork Bone Soup Base
⭐️ Sweet potato vermicelli
⭐️ 2x House Special Dipping Sauces
The spicy broth was bold and flavorful without being overwhelming, and the variety of skewers kept things exciting. Their signature dipping sauce with Yuan's Hot Pot Sesame Oil is a game-changer -- so fragrant and not greasy.
Yuan's Hot Pot 袁记串串香 brings the bold, authentic flavours of Chengdu straight to Richmond. We've fallen in love with Chengdu-style hotpot and can't wait to return to try more!
Highly recommend!

Arguably the best ice lemon tea in Richmond. Lemon is hand muddle and tea is steeped in silk tea bag. Very delicious, not too bitter and not too sweet with the perfect tartness from the lemon. Got large for $3.75 each.

Tin Tin Kitchen offers an exceptional dining experience with their excellent baked spaghetti with meat sauce—rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Pair it with their outstanding Hong Kong milk tea, which is creamy, aromatic, and truly satisfying. The combination of delicious food and delightful drinks makes Tin Tin Kitchen a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable meal.

I believe Vivien Ave confusing two different places. Tin Tin Kitchen is a fast food counter in Parker Place food court. I think she probably want to say Tin Tin Seafood Restaurant (3711 No. 3 Road, opposite of Yohan Centre).
Tin Tin Kitchen provides order to make Hong Kong style delicious dishes and drinks with good deal. Very nice partners in the front desk and kitchen. 👍👍👍

Tin Tin is a great all arounder for food. A little bit of everything! So far, I like their seafood chow mein (chow mein sauce is super flavourful), rod cod with corn sauce, and the egg sauce on noodles.
Good value and very tasty!

One of my go-to places at Parker Place food court for taste - my favourites are fried rice and rice noodles. Cold lemon tea is probably best in the food court. The only drawback is only one chef, so longer wait expected during busy times.

Disappointing. I wouldn't try to come back but might allow it as an option.
Steamed BBQ bun and seafood dumpling was good, but didn't like much else.
The deep fried taro dumplings were bad. They're filled with a bland shrimp and pork (?) curry.
The egg tarts were fine, but they brought them first.
The baked BBQ pork buns aren't the ones with an egg glaze. They're the sugar coated ones and are too sweet combined with the sweet BBQ sauce. Kids liked them though. Maybe they gave us the BBQ pork pastry by mistake. They were slow to come out.
The steamed chicken bun was good, but I was surprised it has shrimp too!
The sticky rice was good.
Everything we ordered came in sets of three.
They have free tea with the table. Although our server made it sound like they charge for tea and I can sub a pop, but the one who gave us our bill said we pay for the pop. I guess I misunderstood.

I visited the restaurant around 2 PM, and there were about five or six tables occupied. I initially went for the seafood, but once inside, I realized they only offered a dim sum menu. The rice rolls were extremely thick and lacked the smooth texture I was expecting—it felt like the chef didn't put much care into making them. I also ordered the hot pot rice, which was quite disappointing. Honestly, the food court across the street offers better meals. The other dishes were overly seasoned and didn't suit my taste. On top of that, the restaurant staff were chatting loudly with each other, which made the dining experience uncomfortable. I won’t be coming back, but this is just my personal opinion.

Very good traditional Hong Kong style dim sum! This is one of our go to's. There are a lot of options to choose from, and the restaurant is fairly spacious.
Some of our favourites include Siu mai, har gao, chicken sticky rice, and more as seen in the photos.
If you place your order before 11:30am, it's 10% off and no tea fee. So definitely worthwhile to eat a bit earlier to beat the rush and save a bit.
This is a stand alone restaurant so there is dedicated parking unlike other restaurants.

We went there on Jan 19, 2025, at 9:15 am, to test if they are that bad, said by many reviewers, per Google map research, even though they were graded at 4 stars out of 5. It ended up they impressed us a lot. They are the very few restaurants who start business at 9 am in Richmond, their servers were polite, we were led to our table quickly, our dim sum came fast, in big dishes, tasty and hot. It cost us $44 for 4 dim sums, no GST, per current Federal policy, but they are $1 or $2 higher than the same food in the best dim sum restaurants we go to in Burnaby. However, considering they are conveniently located right on No.3 Road, close to big shopping malls and shops, have their own big parking lot, good food quality, environment and service, I give them 4.5 stars. They worth our referral. We will come back again. Attached are their menu with price list and our food ordered.

Great meal, set menu for 6, was enough for 7 plus 3 kids. We did add chow fun and 4 orders of dumplings though. Great food, service, experience!

Took my grandmother for some dim sum as they have 20%off promotion. All is good except we were seated by the entrance. Once the door opens, cold breeze would rush in and blows directly to our table. I was freezing half of the time. Our food got cold faster than we could enjoy them. I had to get up to close the door myself twice. The staff closed the door many times but people are just blind to their small "please close the door" sign. Either they figure out a way so the door closes automatically or they make a bigger sign that people can't miss. I would say it ruined the experience and we will not come here again before they fix the door issue. Or at least not visit during winter time.

Great dim sum spot. Well prepared and friendly staff. The tables / linens are a bit old and worn out. Flavor profile of food was pretty spot on 5/5.

It's a nice restaurant with good food. The price is reasonable so it's a popular place to go, need a reservation if going at peak times. The menu is huge and lots of variety from soup to seafood. They have frequent deals too and plenty of free parking. Service can be better.
