The food in this restaurant is really amazing. Each dish shows the chef's exquisite craftsmanship and careful attention to the ingredients. Whether it's taste, arrangement or freshness, it's impeccable. You can feel the collision of sincerity and deliciousness in every bite. If you like high-quality food, this is definitely a must-see choice!

The food was okay, but not good as google reviews. Because the chef didn’t clean the oven properly after burnt one. Therefore, I got all the burnt semolina powder bottom of my pizza pieces. Also, tomato sauce didn’t spread out evenly, some parts are less tomato sauce. The Calamari fritti was good.

Amazing amazing amazing so
Amazing we had to go back the very next night. Staff were incredible, both nights we were lucky enough to have two great waiters as well as the manager on our table. Food was delicious one
Of the best entrees and mains I have come across and the prices- well you get more then what you pay !
Food was so fast out to the table but not once did we feel rushed, atmosphere was great and the variety of the menu covered everyone’s tastes
I highly recommend

First of all, the food is delicious, the pizza is authentic, and the pasta is delicious. Sometimes the waiter will forget what we ordered after we order. Also, it is not too quiet inside, so people who like quiet are not recommended to come here. Everything else is excellent. In general, it is still worth recommending. By the way, this restaurant is open until 11pm, which is worth praising.

My wife and I recently visited this incredible Italian restaurant, and we were absolutely blown away by the quality. From the moment we walked in, we could tell we were in for a great experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and well taken care of.
We decided to order a classic combination of pizza and pasta, and both were outstanding. The pizza had a perfectly crispy crust with just the right amount of toppings, bursting with flavor. Each bite was delicious, and the balance between the sauce, cheese, and toppings was spot on. The pasta was equally impressive—cooked to perfection, with a rich, flavorful sauce that tasted like it had been made from scratch. The ingredients were fresh, and you could really taste the authenticity in each dish.
We’ve been to a lot of Italian restaurants, but this one stood out. It was one of those meals where everything came together perfectly, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more!

First picture looks like micky mouse anyways prices were kind of expensive for what it’s worth, the food was interesting because everything is vegetarian so we had a lot of tofu and other stuff. Deep fried but very oily, serving sizes were quite tiny. Found the dishes to be quite dry but idk

Went for dinner and ordered-
Mi goreng 1J
Crispy bean curd 1D
Soft rice noodle 2J
Steam buns 9A
Curry puff 3A
Poached Chinese broccoli
Plain rice.
We enjoyed the Crispy Bean Curd 1D with Rice, Soft Rice Noodle 2J, and Curry Puff 3A the most. However, the Mi Goreng was like spaghetti, and the Steam Buns 9A were sweet, so did not prefer them. The Poached Chinese Broccoli was particularly disappointing, with an overly salty and strongly flavored sauce.
Absolutely, when we go there next time, we can confidently order our favorite dishes. The best thing about this restaurant is that all the menus are vegetarian, so there's no need to hesitate when choosing what to order.
We arrived at 5 PM when it was empty, but by 6 PM, all the tables were full, the place was crowded, and people were waiting outside.

this is one of the best vegetarian restaurants in the entire country… the fact i don’t live in sydney so can’t come here regularly is genuinely heartbreaking. if you are in sydney and can only go to one restaurant make it this place because it’s AMAZING. everything about it is so perfect! i dream of mother chu’s vegetarian kitchen

We’ve been coming to Mother Chu’s for years now and it’s always a great dining experience. Tonight we had the steamed dim sims for the entrée, followed by the golden mushroom and soy sheet roulades in black pepper sauce. Both were delicious – the food is cooked fresh. We love the friendly staff and the beautiful Chinese calligraphy on the walls. Highly recommended for vegans, vegetarians and omnivores alike!

We went here quite a few times during our stay in Sydney. All the food is vegetarian and they have vegan options as well. The food tasted fresh and delicious. The owner was very kind and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! It also wasn’t too noisy so it was a great place to escape the city for dinner time. We would definitely recommend this place if you’re visiting Sydney ☺️

I was recommended this place by my Korean friend, and oh my, it’s amazing! This is the best Korean BBQ I’ve ever tried in Sydney—so tasty, and the prices are fair too. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially meat lovers. The food here is incredible, beyond words! Unfortunately, when I visited, there was construction in front of the restaurant, and I got a bit lost. But it’s definitely worth trying!

Went to the restaurant because of the google reviews. Hidden behind the alley which we had to find and inside was filled with people on a Sunday night. Food quality was average and price was on a pricey side. Small dishes were not refilled and we need to pay for refills. The waiters and waitresses were cleaning up the dirty plates for the other tables so loud which affected our mood.

I wasn’t a fan of the 2-hour time limit, but I understand why they have it.
The wait for the pork set took a bit longer than expected, and the prices were slightly on the higher side.
The soft drinks and alcoholic beverages were also more expensive compared to typical Korean BBQ places.

What a hidden gem in Sydney!
Rainy nights in Sydney made me crave for hot and spicy soup!
Kimchi jjigae was very well done!
Ginseng Chicken Soup was on the milder side (we need to request for extra salt)😅
Fried Garlic Chicken was crispy and juicy!
Waiters were very friendly and attentive to help us refill banchans!

Great Korean BBQ joint in a hidden back alley serving up good Korean favourites. It's a lively atmosphere at night and the service is speedy and efficient. It's popular for good reason. Plenty of meat options and seafood options. There are a handful of vegetarian options too, but know that this is a BBQ joint, so the aroma of meat is everywhere. The banchan offered is great and topped up regularly. Aside from the standard meat options, our group also had the seafood pancake and seafood stew. Such great food!!

The staff are kind, friendly and polite. The olive oil is very tasty. All the dishes were delicious, but the dessert creme brûlée was creamy and exquisite.

I visited on a Friday night with my partner, we ordered the oysters, salmon and the pasta special with chorizo, haloumi and spinach.
We both found the food great for the price point; the oysters were very fresh and my salmon being perfectly cooked and delicious however, the fettuccine was stuck together and slightly undercooked which was unfortunate as the flavour was amazing!
Our highlight were the two waitors who looked after us they were truly exceptional, extremely attentive and friendly. We would definitely return just for the great service :)

It's a good local restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The food, while not fancy, is tasty and satisfying.
The service is attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
Additionally, the prices are reasonable.
Overall, it was a delightful experience.

Fine dining in a welcoming setting that’s clean and crisp. Attentive wait staff, without any fuss.
Generous wine pours and meal sizes, with a modest menu length of Italian favourites. They kindly accommodated walk-in sitting for a group of 5.
Would recommend for sure.

One of best Italian at CBD.
The service at this restaurant was similar to what I experienced in Italy, with refined hospitality. It's a traditional Italian-style service.
Moreover, just like in Italy, the carpaccio served here is fresh and not heavily dressed. You can enjoy carpaccio here just like the authentic one in Italy.

Excellent pub meals. Good serves. We had barra, Parma and a beer for under $70

I came in on Sunday with my three girls and sister in law. Two of my girls ordered the burger - cooked medium, but it came out well done and burnt. I spoke to the manager and he was so helpful. He replaced the burgers and offered the girls a drink on the house. We didn't accept the offer but it was a lovely gesture. The replacement burgers came out cooked to perfection!
Also, the margarita's are amazing!

Coming in here as a Brit, I was very impressed by what Sydney had to offer. A wide range of beers on tap and you can throw smart cocktails in there too. Very pleased with the service and the impression you left on me of Australian pubs!

Old school bar, the old style floor and wall tiles, mirrors and glass work , the timber carpentry. The bars awesome. Must be why the place is packed. There is plenty of TV to look at and a tab.

Cosy, family friendly pub. Good service, great selection of beers on tap and really good quality meals that are well priced. Also has a big screen and TV if you're watching sport.

Staff are friendly and the food tastes great. I couldn’t believe I’ve not noticed this place in all my time living in Sydney. Would definitely recommend. One downside was the speed of the service. It was so quick that you feel a little rushed.

Beautiful Greek restaurant, food is delicious and just perfect 😋
The service is exceptional, both the waiters were amazing in all ways, we will definitely be back soon.
Thank you 😃

We had a delicious lunch for three people. We did make a reservation - perhaps not needed for a Tuesday as there was a lot of sitting available even for walk-ins. We do recommend this place if you are looking for a Greek cuisine restaurant.

What a hidden gem! We enjoyed a delicious dinner of Greek classics, opting for some a la carte items that were both authentic and tasty. Nostalgia with fond favourites that did not disappoint! Our host Theo was welcoming, attentive and his tremendous service added to the wonderful experience. Highly recommend.
Michelle Vlahos - 10 months ago
I like the old school nature of this place and our waiter was great. However, ultimately the food is the most important thing in a restaurant and this was disappointing. Fish cakes that were more flour than fish; extremely dry, tough and tasteless lamb shoulder; and a veal dish that was slopped onto the plate as a meat/rice/cream mess. Not much love going into the food here... They prompt you for a tip at the end of the meal, but that's a bit hard to stomach (so to speak) when you're already spending a couple of hundred dollars on a pretty ordinary meal.

Fantastic sushi here. I got a to go order and the salmon was so fresh. Loved the option of ordering a set that had one of each favourites as this has the opportunity to try a little bit of everything without committing to buying a full set. Would definite recommend

An awesome experience. We attempted to dine at another Sushi restaurant but they were not very accommodating so we chose to look elsewhere and found this amazing restaurant. Fresh ingredients and so tasty. A really inviting space and very family friendly. Staff were so engaging and attentive. The serving sizes were also very generous. The Gunkan seared scallops were excellent and the cooked tuna was also amazing. Dine here for a great experience.
