Definitely a must-do in Brazil. A super nice spot in Ipanema, we were warmly welcomed and then the food journey began. Different types of meat are served at regular intervals. You can then decide for yourself whether you want some or prefer to take a break. On the buffer there are salads, other hot dishes and sushi. Some of the dishes were served a little quickly, but the quality of the meat was really very good! The service was friendly, spoke minimal English and looked after us very well. A really great experience :) Reservations can easily be made via what's app.

Some of the meats were very dry or over well done. The buffet options (salad, sushi, cheese, veggies) were all fresh and beautifully presented. The service was just ok- the reason is, none of the employees could speak English. When we ordered dessert (which is not included in the price), the server showed us a plate of options but could not tell us what each dessert contained (bc he could not speak English or attempt to translate). We ended up ordering a bowl of strawberries and each one was so sour. We told the manager it was sour but he did not do anything about it. Overall, Rio brasa AYCE is better.

A nice buffet style where you can pick some sushi and salads as much as you want but also they bring meat to you that you can cut slices off to eat. Meat is great and I went here several times but one of the nights they brought me super dry meat that was probably from last night. I couldn’t eat that part. It’s a fun concept you’ll receive like a card with a green and a red side. You let the green side of the card be up that signals that you want some more meat. If you’ve had enough for now you switch to the red side of the card. That way you don’t have to talk or get asked a thousand times if you want more or not. Great for me as a Scandinavian who is socially shy haha. Overall I think it’s good if you’re super hungry and want to eat a lot and get some good meat in there too. I paid like 38$ and that was a drink included as well.

Incredible food, incredible service, overall one of the best restaurants ive ever eaten at. 144 Reais per person for all you can eat meat & a full buffet with salad sushi etc. The staff were all so friendly & they were bringing out so many incredible different cuts of meat the whole time. Best value for money i think ive ever had from a restaurant

They really made an effort serving (separately prepared) food (meat, French fries, rice) that was Dairy, Eggs and Gluten free… Nice and professional staff and great staff manager. Thanks a lot 👍

Good by the weight or eat as much pizza as you can. The staff are really friendly and work really hard. Non stop walking up and down and serving the customers. Saturday night visit was busy, but I have only 3 stars because the buffet was a bit tired. For such a busy restaurant I felt pressurized into opting for the pizza menu, but all I wanted was a nice fresh plate of salad and vegetables. And some meat. Maybe 10pm, but I expected the dishes on offer to be freshly replaced and tempting. Despite having only salad, rice and beans, and I must a delicious passion fruit juice, a R$60 bill was a bit too high. I sat upstairs. The girl that came to ask me for the drinks work hard. I would give her a pay rise if I could. She was pleasant, friendly, hard working. For that I thank the staff. The food I will come back at lunch time to compare. Hopefully fresher.

An all-you-can-eat restaurant. The "Rodizio Pizza" version (49R$) includes pizza and pasta, and the "Rodizio Sushi" version includes sushi, pizza, pasta, and perhaps a piece of cake (99R$). Regardless of the list of people, a tip was added to the bill. In general, an interesting option if you want to try different flavors, including savory pizza, but also sweet pizza with chocolate. I tried the white chocolate pizza without having to buy the whole thing and it was a nice experience. However, the quality of the pizza is average - the dough is average, and the choice of flavors is usually limited: sauce + cheese + one ingredient (either chicken, or shrimp, or vegetable). Therefore, if you appreciate the good quality of a good pizza dough, then look for another place. Acceptable value for money. The place was clean and friendly staff.

The fondue is all you can eat cheese, bread sausage meat and chicken followed by desert fruits with white or black sauce - it’s insanely good and i recommend it to everyone - fairly romantic in the winter months - nice warm food great value for money

A small buffet with a very small selection of food and only two meat choices, neither of which was good. There is no carved meat station like you get at other buffet restaurants unfortunately. The restaurant had a particular smell that I can only describe as a dirty restaurant smell. Staff were not very friendly or welcoming and when we went to the cashier to pay, she just rudely waved us away to her colleague without even looking at us.

Food is okay. But I found it bit weird that the deserts are charged extra. Being from US, buffets means all included. I was caught by surprise that I have to pay for desert by weight. I guess language barrier can be problem if you are foreigner and can’t read the signs if there is any. But being a tourist place and having so many foreigners, putting some English signs can really help some customers.

This place is borderline scam. Prices are VERY expensive and portions are VERY small. Quality is below average (except of Acai) Acai is nice, nothing crazy and 'wow blew my mind' but its definitely the best acai I have ever tried in Rio. (it just tastes the way it should, nothing crazy) If you are for Acai, come. Otherwise dont bother with other dishes

This place is so exceptional. I've eaten here multiple times each trip to Rio (over years), usually after a day at the beach. If you are in Brazil and want to get the real acai, this is the place. Be aware it has a bitter taste, so adding the honey option helps to smooth the flavor without making it sweet. The nutrients and fiber are fantastic. Can't go wrong adding banana or granola. You can sit inside or out. The acai is cold, so it's great on a hot day, or nice to enjoy outside on an evening or cooler day. Enjoy the real taste you just won't get in other places in the world (or most of Rio)

This was our fave acai bowl, not as sweet as most of the others, but an icier and thicker consistency than arataca on the copa side, love getting the tapioca with it! Can add bananas or granola here as well. It's we'll set up for tourists, whereas arataca is not, but I'd recommend both!

the best Feijoada i’ve ever tried! i saw this place recommended in google maps and decided to take the family to try some traditional feijoada and the expectations were high and they definitely delivered. it is quite expensive though, and you pay per person who eats so it’s not a ‘plate’ per se. there were 4 of us but we managed to pay for 2 of us but we had to order another dish. the food is incredible, they give you some courtesy shots of cachaza.

Honestly i didnt understand the specialty dish. It was overseasoned and i didnt understand how beans, eggs, sausage and greens complimented eachother. The meat was overcooked but chorizo was decent

Ordered the traditional feijoada, descent, not bad but nothing to rave about. The bean soup was solid I liked it. My favorite part was the spicy chili pepper oil, just a little bit of oil goes a long way and mixing that in with the beans and rice is very tasty. Owner is also very nice.

Good place to eat topical Feijoada. For around 140 Reals you can have as much as you want. The meat is very good, but you can also choose from pig ears or feet. We tried the ears too, but it wasn’t ours, but that’s just personal taste. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and looks very modern. The service was always nice and attentive.

The staff really made me dined at this place. A gentleman who's I think was a waiter was super nice and spoke English well. I was impressed at how he explained and recommended dishes and wine for me. I really enjoyed the wine that he recommended. The dish was little salty with the sauce. However, it is still delicious.

A fancier dining experience in Rio. Was recommended specials which weren’t on the menu. Ravioli filled with ricotta & lemon was pretty phenomenal - light and well-balanced for a pasta dish. Fish was alright although presentation intriguing. Service was inconsistent ie wine pour was splashed on tablecloth & we had to ask twice to see the menu.

Service and atmosphere was great but the food was a bit disappointing. The tabouli was way too salty, the baked kibe was dry and there was too much tahini in the babaganoush. Obviously that's my tastes but the overall experience was good and filling.

Got the appetizer sampler and the katfa dish along with a caprihina and a draft beer. Portions are large. The appetizer had taziki, hummus and babaganush. They were all bland but there are sauces like garlic and pepper that you can add to spice them up. The katfa dish was nice with the added fried onions a nice touch. The caprihina was perfectly balanced. The draft beer was pretty warm snd was soon flat. I would reccomend the Katfa and the caprihina. The katfa would be ok to share between to people as a small meal.

Fantastic food.great atmosphere with outside seating.they also sell delicious pasty type things in a heated cabinet at the counter (I don't know what they are called) .they are really nice and and only 9.90 reales ,a great snack to take away when walking past.they are the tastiest things ,the chicken one is the best but all of the many choices are absolutely delicious.

If you like boring, bland, tasteless Brazilian food like dry, stale, crumbly white bread, hot dogs or even sawdust (farofa) for breakfast, you might not like this place. But if you like your food to have flavor, this might become your favorite restaurant. And they actually have waiters that speak the universal language of English. In a tourist zone! Who would have THUNK it! If only they could do something about the inconsiderate dog owners/sidewalk diners that don't (or can't) control their pets....

A Good value meal in Ipanema and nice spot to see Ipanema’s routine. I live near Copanema Mix and I have my meals there at least once a week. It’s cheap, quickly and the staff are super nice. You can have fresh juices there, meals and sandwiches. I would skip snacks, pizza and deserts. There are excellent combos for breakfast and lunch.

Typical lanchonete with sandwiches and juices. I've been there for breakfast and I ordered egg whites with hearts of palm and turkey (cold cuts). The service is pretty average, but they're not there to please you, they're just there to bring your meal to the table. I recommend if you are nearby and just want to grab a bite to eat. Because I live right across the street it's convenient. It's not AMAZING, but lanchonete suits its purpose. Reason for 4 stars? It's open 24/7.

Really chill spot, I received the carne asado Plato de dia. I ordered it Togo and the waiter actually knew what I meant so that was great! They have Mexican coke but you can’t take the bottle Togo. So they gave me a little cup to take with me. Try to speak Portuguese and maybe ask for dressing with the salad.

Medium price range for açaí During my 5 times in Rio I found the price of açaí from high to low Some fancy açaí place > Corner fast food plus açaí place like big nectar > On the beach price > Zona sul super market price > Copacabana beach street cart cheapest

The place is filthy and it has a dirty appearance to it. The helpers or make believe that they are waitresses have a poor look to them, their "uniform" needs a good cleaning and generally speaking it has a dirty appearance all around. I was kind enough to give it 3 stars........

Big Nectar is the least expensive most delicious restaurant in the city, and they're all across Rio. Note: If you're ordering, tell the cashier directly, bc the staff is quite exhausted. They're not trying to be rude, Big Nectar is busy from open to close everyday.

Located right at the corner of a very busy street in iPanema, 1 block from the metro and 2 blocks from the beach this juice bar gets really busy especially on the weekends. With their extensive menu, you and your buddies can munch on the local favorites like salgados, tapiocas or choose from the many exotic fruit juices. There are is really no bad outcomes here. Prices are inline with the similar places around the area. Give it a chance, you will like it.

It is not the best fillet mignon I tried but it is the best for the price. I paid 30 BRL for fillet mignon and it was in good size. I also got lemon juice and it was only 11 BRL for 500ml. Definitely recommended as a budget option.
