I had one artichoke pizza for lunch and a crab pizza to-go for dinner. The crab one was a bit too salty and did not have the flavor I was hoping for, but the artichoke spice was surprisingly good. Tasted like a large quiche with a greater ratio of cheese to egg.
If you come at the wrong time, then the pizza sit in the store for a while, but the workers offer to give each slice a reheating in the oven (extra crispy). They also helped cut the slice in half so I could share with a friend.
I would recommend visiting this location if you are around the area. The price is pretty reasonable to try a type of pizza many other stores don't dare to make.

Second time visiting Artichoke Basille's Pizza and must say their pizza is so unique and rich. One slice of the famous artichoke pizza was more than enough to fill the two of us. A few seats are available inside the restaurant.

Artichoke Pizza in Greenwich Village is a slice of heaven for pizza lovers! This small but mighty spot, developed by two brothers, serves up some of the most decadent pizza you’ll ever taste. The Artichoke Pizza on Broadway is especially famous for its super creamy, rich topping that feels just like artichoke dip, all atop a thick, hearty crust.
Since opening their first location in 2008, Artichoke Basille’s has expanded across the nation, gaining fame along the way. They’ve been featured on The Tonight Show, The Rachael Ray Show, and many other notable shows and publications. This place is the real deal.
We had a slice that was full of creamy goodness and double crusted – it was absolutely delicious and incredibly satisfying. If you find yourself in Greenwich Village, do yourself a favor and stop by Artichoke Pizza. It’s an experience your taste buds will thank you for!

I've been here twice, first time is with my friends who are visiting, we had are pizza inside the shop and the second time is alone and I made it to go. Both experiences are good, the people are respectful and polite. The pizza is great! The artichoke slice is so explosive in my palate. Im chosing this over Joe's

just a solid pizza joint that’s a little more instagram worthy than most other franchises. the vodka slice was super sloppy but the undercarriage was dumb crispy and just held up perfectly without breaking apart. dropping fifteen bucks on two slices is a little nuts though so welcome to 2024

Iconic jazz club in New York. I booked tickets fairly late, opting for bar seating on this occasion. I’d recommend getting there early - I booked for the 10:30pm gig, with doors allegedly at 10pm but they were open when I arrived about 20 minutes before this. There are only 10 or so seats on the bar so if you want one you need to get in quick. Otherwise it’s standing room only and very tightly packed! There’s a minimum spend of $25 on the bar and $35 on the tables. A ‘standard’ beer costs $10 and they have some craft beers in cans for $14.
The music, as you’d expect, is excellent. It’s not so easy to see from the bar - this is fine if you’re going fairly casually to enjoy the experience but book table seating if you want to properly see the band. The sound is still great at the back, with dedicated speakers. Each gig lasts ~45/50 minutes, with two gigs per evening (early and late). There is also a small but well stocked shop upstairs. Accessibility is excellent with a metro stop very nearby and regular trains to the rest of the city. The gig finished just before midnight but the area was still bustling.
Not a cheap club but iconic with excellent live music. That said, for a beer it’s no more expensive than anywhere else in the city! Great service, too.

The food was good and the atmosphere was great. The prices for everything was high but that’s expected in NYC. If you’re going to a historic place like the blue note you should just enjoy the experience.
I have to give it a lower rating because after tipping our server she came back and demanded more money. She said 25% was a minimum. She was very aggressive and zeroed out the previous tip and put the machine in my face. I asked if 20% was ok and she said 25% so I left $45 as a tip. I told her this was the first time I had a server demand a specific tip. She asked me if I was American and said this is America. She could not have known that I was active duty military and served time in Afghanistan. I just complied with her demands. That comment was grossly out of line. It really put a bad end to the night. After spending $250 on food and $80 on stuff from the gift shop, would expect not to be harassed.

God bless the Blue Note. First time and it was a Bob James back-to-back Saturday gig. We arrived late for the first show and they sat us at an amazing table overlooking the stage. Now that's V.I.P. for a couple coming from Miami! They were super-accommodating for the second show, seating us right next to Bob James himself. Then I went to the second floor, knocked on the artist's door and there was Bob James eating a salad, along with his manager, welcoming me. Bob signed everything I had and I went on the second show. GRATEFUL TO THE BLUE NOTE. Especially the lady who runs the place, though the whole staff was superb. THANK YOU!

Renowned for its legendary live music performances. To ensure you catch your favorite show, it's wise to do your research on who's playing and book tickets in advance.
For a better view, consider opting for a table over standing at the bar, as the club's layout is rectangular. Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early increases your chances of securing a good spot. Keep in mind that if a table isn't fully occupied, strangers may be seated together to fill the space.
While cocktails are around $20 USD each, they're worth the splurge for their quality. Service is a bit slowly and the place guys busy, epically on weekends. Although the live music experience is vibrant and engaging, making it a must-do activity for visitors looking to immerse themselves in New York's rich music scene.
Whether you're a jazz enthusiast or simply seeking a memorable night out, catching a show at the Blue Note is an experience that encapsulates the essence of the city's vibrant culture. From the electrifying atmosphere to the world-class musicianship, it's an unforgettable journey into the heart of jazz.

I recently moved to New York from Hawaii where I originally enjoyed the productions of Blue Note. Tonight, I brought my sister to see Chloe Flower, a beautiful and phenomenal pianist who transcends me with her passion for "Popsicle", her coined term for her integration of popular and classical music. We attended her sold out first show of her Blue Note Debut! The intimate setting of Blue Note further empowered her impact on the crowd through every key stroke. The guest appearance of Caroline Campbell, the violinist, truly elevated the experience. Thank you Chloe for your craft and vulnerability, and thank you Blue Note for setting the stage!

What an experience! That was the second time going to this restaurant and it was so incredibly amazing! The ambience portends an amazing dining experience. The service was outstanding and the food unforgettably delicious! I had the Black Spaghetti and it was so incredible! Would licking the plate be appropriate in a place like Babbo? Definitely not, but I was tempted! The dessert was amazing and we were celebrating a special occasion, which the staff picked up on and brought us tiramisu to share!
Randy Hagedorn - 5 months ago
I was looking forward to trying Babbo. I would have thought of this as a classic. I would have been wrong. The decor was drab. The room felt dank. The music was good, but it had four or five songs by one artist at a time, first Elton John, then Queen, then maybe Springsteen, then it went out entirely.
The service was warm and efficient, but there were a lot of staff on the floor and I don't know who was in what role.
The food was just dated. The best dishes I tried were the octopus and a radicchio salad. The crab pasta listed serrano chilis but had no heat and the crab itself was bland and without flavor. The biggest disappointment was the pork chop with cherry tomatoes and cippollini. The pork was horribly overcooked (they didn't ask a temperature). It was covered in bell peppers and chopped onions, there was exactly one cippollini and half of a cherry pepper. We sent it back and it was removed from the bill.
The restaurant could only be described as tired. There's so many better options not far, try those.

Really enjoyed my dinner at Babbo. It’s one of the few places that serves Egg Raviolo. While the pasta was a bit al dente for my taste, I loved the creamy center and the butter sauce. The Pork Chop was excellent—juicy but with a nice char. And I liked the pickled onion that came with it. Service was friendly and attentive.

The food and service were excellent! When we arrived, they were running behind on reservations, so they gave us complimentary drinks for waiting. We were seated about 20 minutes late, but they made up for it. We were also given a complimentary appetizer of the mozzarella di bufala campana. My fiancé LOVED this. It was his favorite part of the meal. We then ordered the egg raviolo, black spaghetti, halibut, and the duck pasta special. We really wanted the branzino, but they had literally just ran out. We were disappointed, but all the food was so good, regardless. When I have the opportunity to try restaurants owned by famous chefs/restaurateurs, my expectations are always high and Babbo definitely exceeded my expectations. I would definitely come back again!

One if by Land, Two if by Sea has a classy menu, a great history, and beautiful decor that makes it very romantic. I took my girlfriend there for our 3 year anniversary. The restaurant was gorgeous and the decor was perfect for those special photos. The dim lighting created a perfeambiance. The food was incredible. The food wine room upstairs is extraordinary. The only minor issue I encountered was with how small the menu was, at best you will feel satisfied after eating meal. I didn’t care because the food I ate was delightful.”
The dessert was special. This is definitely a place you will want to experience.

I found out about this restaurant in the weirdest way ever. I am a paranormal enthusiast, and I was on YouTube watching one of those 'Top 10 haunted whatever in NYC'. Well, this kept showing up as a nice and beautiful place, but they say that women who sit at the bar usually get their earrings taken off. Anyways, I'm not here to leave a paranormal review. I'm here because this place was amazing! I went with my 16-year-old daughter, and we fell in love! We had the pre-fixed meal. Everything was perfect, the food, the atmosphere, our waiter, the music, the piano, the host. I had the beef wellington and my daughter had lamb I believe. I don't remember any of the dishes, but I included the photos in case anyone would like to see them! I will return again one day, hopefully one a day with my future husband.

I went here with friends to celebrate my partner's promotion. The food was delicious. The service was acceptable but not exceptional, which is what I expected for an establishment of this scale. We were seated upstairs and didn't get to enjoy the ambiance of the beautiful downstairs which was disappointing. I suggest if you make a reservation, request to be seated downstairs. For the price we paid I simply expected more. The beef wellington was great!

Brunch is the way to go here. The menu is exactly the same as dinner, and you get to pick and choose all the food you would ever want to try for $20 for 90 minutes. For an additional $16, you can have unlimited drinks. We came on St Patrick’s Day where they colored their margaritas green. Service was impeccable and prompt, and all the food was delicious. We had all of the tacos, tamales, and quesadillas. Don’t forget dessert. The churros are a must!

For a Mexican restaurant you definitely expect more flavor in the food. People were really enjoying their drinks though however they do not accommodate for people who do not drink alcohol. The staff did not make and would not make Virgin mocktails. The nachos are not salted either. The best thing was dessert. Don't skip out on those plantains. YUM!

Hosted our engagement party here with close family. Everything was perfect - the food was delicious, the service was attentive and flawless, the ambiance was sublime. We were seated on the private terrace and felt like we were transported to a tuscan villa! Francesca and the event planning team were super - the constant communication, attention to detail, and care, was above and beyond. I look forward to hosting future events and regular dining at Palma in the future! This place is criminally underrated compared to its overrated Italian restaurants in the West Village area! Don’t hesitate - dine here or host your event here. You won’t be disappointed.

Truly excellent gluten-free pasta! Simply can’t recommend this restaurant enough for their selection of gluten free and dairy free appetizers, entrées, and desserts (drinks were wonderful as well). Additionally, the atmosphere was quaint, quiet and cute; a lovely little getaway from the busy city. We were celebrating a birthday and the waiter made the extra effort to make the night extra memorable. Overall a great and delicious experience!

I had heard great reviews about this place and it definitely lived up to all the hype. Both the pizza and the apps were amazing. The mozzarella sticks are a must try. On a vacation to New York, our family decided to get New York pizza!
We heard great things about this place, and we got seated immediately.
The place is pretty small, but the vibe is definitely there and I liked the decorations .
The food came out pretty quickly, and we ordered the 16” chubby vesce pizza which was perfect for our group of four. It was a little soggy in the middle but overall it was a pretty good pizza.
I would recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice, simple pizza place.

Since 1929 serving the best Pizza in NYC. Friend of mine in NYC told me to go here for the real NY pizza. From SF. Indeed this was the best pizza I have ever had. The friends I traveled with agreed. This is a MUST if in NYC. The sauce was outstanding made every day. Sausage was from a local source. Very thin crust cooked over a coal fired oven. What a fun experience.

This pizzeria is one of the hottest in New York, and their pizza is well worth the wait. They offer a variety of pizzas, from traditional to innovative flavors that are impressively delicious and generously portioned. Additionally, the decor retains a wonderful sense of history, complete with interesting notes on the walls. Due to its popularity, expect to wait over half an hour during peak lunch and dinner times, and even at 3 PM, it's likely to be packed. If you'd prefer not to wait, consider ordering a pickup. Highly recommended for pizza enthusiasts.

After all the great things we heard we made a trip to try the pizza. Absolutely delicious. We ordered meatballs as an app—delicious. We then ordered a sausage pie and cheese one for our party and ate every bite. We had to wait a little but it was totally worth it. Just remember, you can’t order individual slices, just whole pies.

Solid beer bar. Decently sized tap list and had patrons in there during the afternoon. Didn’t try the food but the menu looked good. Even had a spot to charge my phone. Would pop in again if I was in the neighborhood.

They have a big selection of beers to pick from and I’m glad we stopped by for drinks. The decorations are more on the simpler side, but there’s several tables and chairs. For people who don’t like bitter beers, I’d recommend their half moon mosaic dream ipa or espresso martinis. We will definitely come back to try more drinks and have more of their espresso martinis. They also have a two drink minimum for credit cards. You can keep an open tab for the night and pay before you leave.

Here now and what an obnoxious door person and the waitress Cassie I think. I had purchased a Mexican Coke and I get it I should have waited to drink it so the door man asked me to put it away and I did. Then my husband went in a got me a Diet Coke. She explained no outside food or drink. No issue makes sense. Then as I was switching seats with my husband after just buying the coke he came back and asked if we were leaving since someone needed a table?! Huh I just purchased a drink and husband has a beer? I waited for 20 minutes for my table and he didn’t try to help me?! I don’t care if it is busy not my issue. Was not usual friendly here and today before at Patrick’s day it was not! Took the fun out of coming to blind tiger for me for sure. Not sure why such a bad disposition and as soon as they asked me to put my coke away I complied so not sure why still an attitude!
Just left the blind tiger where we have been coming for years and I didn’t realize I didn’t review. They have a huge selection of beers from all the country and they have a kitchen which makes wonderful grilled cheese and Mac n cheese. Lots of high gravity and high alcohol and great selections you don’t see everywhere else in the city. Always busy just two small bathrooms in the back corner. Now they have outside seating in the street and in outside structure. Here is todays board

Truly exceptional, but didn’t we know that already? They customized vegetarian meals for me and dad while my partner ate the freshest fish and meats to his hearts desire. They truly know how to make ingredients sing. We also had the wine pairing and I don’t know when I’ll have wine like that again- nothing hits the same anymore. Can’t wait to make a trip update to the farm one day

• Blue Hill in Manhattan is a wonderful place that I'd love to visit again.
• Their farm-to-table concept is simply amazing. They started with a restaurant in upstate New York and now have one in NYC too.
• What I really liked is that their veggies are grown on their own farm, and the meats and fish are provided by their partners. You can taste the fresh difference!
• The interior has a simple yet classy vibe, with lovely flowers adorning the space.
• The food is served as a mix of different dishes in a four-course tasting menu.
• They did an excellent job accommodating my dislikes and allergy requests.
• The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly.

Overall, the entire experience was more on the disappointing side. This is not our first time dining at a "locally sourced ingredients" establishment or a Michelin-starred place. We also tried not to leave any food uneaten, knowing that the products were locally sourced, but this does not reflect our thoughts on the dishes.
The meal started on a fun note with different types of cucumbers paired with a green dip that was quite delicious. However, from that point onward, the main course was disappointing, despite the theme of the lunch being French brasserie.
The salad and ratatouille were nice, but the mussel dish tasted bitter due to the sauce, and the steak and potato plate was quite dry and rubbery. I've had similar dishes many times before, so it wasn't an issue of trying them for the first time.
As for the dessert, it was a large donut with apricot filling. It was served without any utensil to cut it, which might have been fine. However, the donut itself seemed to have been sitting out for a while—the bread tasted oily, and the filling inside was unfortunately quite sour. Even my partner, who usually enjoys all types of desserts, did not enjoy this one.
Lastly, regarding the service, everyone was friendly, but given that it was a menu-less place, we would have appreciated some explanation about the dishes without having to ask about each one.
We are not sure if we'd like to return to this place, although we might give it another chance since the menu changes seasonally. However, it's a big maybe for now.

Had an absolutely lovely evening dining here. Food was delicious and the staff were wonderful. Not even sure where to start with the food but every dish was delightful (except the crudite, it wasn't bad but I could've done without it). One of my favorites was the bread they served. So soft, so warm, I could've eaten that all day. I was absolutely stuffed by the end of the night. Sometimes you're afraid that you'd leave these Michelin starred restaurants wanting more but nope, not here. A great place for a classy yet homey meal.

Fantastic meal! All the ingredients were sooo fresh you could tell they grew it instead of sourcing like other restaurants. Especially in peak of summer, the vegetables and berries were so sweet and clearly vine ripened. Going to start coming often for date night!

Joe’s Pizza in New York is an iconic spot with a slice that truly lives up to the hype. The thin crust and perfectly balanced sauce make it a must-visit for any pizza lover. Fans of Spider-Man will also appreciate the nostalgic vibe, as the place famously featured in the movies. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, Joe’s serves up a classic New York slice that’s hard to beat. Don’t miss it when you’re in the city!

This pizza was pretty tasty! I got the white, it was good, maybe not the best I’ve ever had, but definitely delicious. The different textures of cheese were fun. My mom had the supreme which I tried a bite of, and I’d say it was much better, especially because it had sauce. 🍕❤️🍕

They operate fast for how many people there can be at times. I think it’s definitely living off some Spider-Man hype and fame, it’s a tourist spot. The slices are great New York slices but there are better in the city. Sicilian was alright.
