Awesome little Irish pub. We visited a couple times due to close proximity to our hotel. Drinks on the 4th floor roof was kind of fun just to be outside and look down the street. We ate here as well and enjoyed the food. Great menu. Fun place.

What a great place. It's huge too. Great food. Great staff. Bernie is awesome. Collects challenge coins and patches. (Military, LEO, Fire, etc)
Great pub atmosphere. My new fav place in NYC.

My wife and I were recently in New York from Scotland and Connolly's was my favourite place for a beer!
They have so many beers on tap, the staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed and chilled.
The patrons were also more knowledgeable about football (soccer) than they were in some other establishments that I watched the Euros in!

THE COOLEST PUB!! Great service, we were on vacation and it was a weekday and the joint was hopping! Food was fast, hot and delicious. We will be back for sure when we return to NYC! Oh the balcony view is super cool!

My family visited here for breakfast on three occasions with my 6 year old grandson and have to say the food and service was wonderful. Bernie is such a helpful guy. The food and atmosphere was lovely and we enjoyed all of our visits.
Thank you Bernie and your staff for making our visit to New York delightful.

I have been there twice in the past 6 months. The first time was in March. That experience led me come back again in September 2024. When I visited the first time, I wanted to have a nice meal and a wine just before I left NY. Bartender Dan was kindly advising me a meal that is not in the menu but was fitting perfect for what I was looking for. He then paired it with one of the best red wines I tasted. This welcoming, attentive and friendly experience led me to visit again in September. Unfortunately I learned that Dan passed away since the last time I saw him. I am very sorry for his absence and I wish his soul peace. His skilled colleagues keep the place in check. I will always visit this place to honour his memory. R. I. P. beautiful soul.

Del frisco is definitely different from what it was a couple of years ago and I now understand why it's very easy to get a reservation at this place.
They have plenty of tables available even on Friday evening. They have a couple of staff who look like managers and will only take care of the table on rare occasions. Servers do not introduce highlights of their menu or make food drink recommendations any more.
Now for the food: steak is okay. I like the fact that they have a fattier cut. But they tend to overcook. It's also under seasoned.
Overall, I was not impressed by my latest experience at Del Frisco's and this place would not rank as #1 NYC given where they're at right now.
For tourists, honestly, the halal food truck just outside of the steakhouse is even more worthy than visiting here.

I recently dined at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House in New York, and it was an exceptional experience. The NY Strip steak was absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection with a wonderful sear and tender, juicy interior that true steak lovers will appreciate.
To make our anniversary even more special, the staff generously offered us a complimentary slice of their rich and creamy cheesecake, which was a delightful surprise and a testament to their excellent customer service.
While the prices are on the higher side, they are quite reasonable considering the high standards and quality one expects in New York City.
Overall, Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House delivers a memorable dining experience with superb food and attentive service, making it well worth a visit.

I dont come here as often as I'd like but went tonight with my daughter to celebrate my upcoming 50th birthday. Menu had new items such as sushi and octopus. Both were delicious. The dry aged steak I had was to die for. So much flavor and so tender. Our waiter, Gerard (G) was fantastic. He was so attentive without being pushy and his recommendations were on point. I will ask for him whenever I visit. That's how much I loved his service.
Took food home and had the new hibiscus cheesecake to share. Last but not least was a take home order of their lemon cake because its always been one of my favs.
Yes, it's pricey but worth it. Treat yourself, you wont be disappointed.

I feel super grateful to have the wonderful dinner with Superman!
The lamb was incredibly tender, and the clam chowder was creamy and delicious. We chose a very healthy Spanish dish, and it was absolutely yummy.
Thank you for the memorable experience!
And there is a bar outside of the dinning room. Highly recommend if you prefer fine dinning at the quiet environment.

A bit overpriced but much nicer than other restaurants. We had a lovely time and our waiter Tony was amazing. The steak we asked for was medium rare and it was a bit too cooked (more like medium to medium well, not red in the center anymore) but we hate to send steaks back as we know they simply throw those out. Otherwise, the taste and flavors were simply fantastic. Would visit again for an occasion!

I’ve never had Cuban food before so I don’t have a comparison but as a first time experience this spot was great. We came in on a Sunday evening in which is a little busy but we were seated quickly as a group of 4 adults and two toddlers.
The staff was incredible. So friendly, attentive, and helpful when I needed some crayons for our kids to use on the coloring papers.
The food portions were perfect for one. The 12 and below portions blew me away; they were similar to our portions which was awesome because our kids were hungry!!
Flavor was good, we really enjoyed our meal.

We are so happy we chose to eat here. The food is amazing and the drinks are delicious and the service was outstanding! The prices are also great and not what I expected for Times Square. The empanadas were delicious and you can get a flight of them to try a few at a time. The Cuban sandwich was great and the salad was as well. Absolutely worth the stop for a great meal and they have specials and happy hours so check the front desk when you get there to see what is happening!

I went here on Saturday August 17. The food and drinks were delicious ! I had never tried Cuban food before and I enjoyed it a lot!
The only thing I have to say what that it was a bit crowded and hard to walk through because there were so many people. Little space to walk through. But everything else was great really enjoyed coming here and I recommend it to everyone!

Had the misfortune of being in this area for a broadway show. Decided to make the best of it with some Cuban food - Havana Central didn’t disappoint, but it’s exactly what you’d expect for Midtown. Service was quick and friendly which was much appreciated. The Cuban sandwich was pretty standard, with no frills. Their frozen drinks are pretty good. Nice spot to grab a bite before or after a show at the Lyceum.

I’ll start by saying that I usually never leave reviews . But Oceana deserves all the stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I found this place by accident when I looked for a pre Broadway birthday dinner for my mother in law . I’m so happy I did, because we had the best experience. I booked the table for 6pm on a Saturday on the same day. We were greeted by staff, they asked if we’re seeing any show after, they made sure they take care of us before we needed to head out for a show. All of the staff members were very attentive and kind. Sommelier for wine pairing painted pictures in my head when telling about beautiful regions that made my wine taste even better.
We were intrigued by the menu and wanted to try everything. So we went with 4 course chefs tasting menu. The portions were perfectly sized to be able to taste everything they bring. Every single meal and wine pairing was beyond this world!
Our kids couldn’t care about anything else than pasta and pizza, which they happened to have on their kids menu. It was a nicely prepared food, unlike anywhere else where they don’t put effort into kids meals.
. It was also refreshing to be in a place with a good family sized tables, where it’s not too dark, loud and crowded unlike anywhere in NYC. Perfect for a family dinner to enjoy a dinner conversation with loved ones. I would go back every day if I could , couldn’t recommend more! Thank you!❤️

The food was excellent, but the service was disappointing. The servers were too busy, and we had to wait 40 minutes just to place our order. Even though there were plenty of empty tables in the main area, we were told a reservation was required. So, we had to make a reservation on the spot. If you plan on going on a Saturday night, be sure to reserve in advance.

This is my favorite dinner spot between Broadway shows. The food and service are impeccable, and the location is so convenient. Oysters from the raw bar make a great start to your meal, and there is a prix fixe menu available. You can’t go wrong with whatever you order.

The location is absolutely stunning for content outside the restaurant in the area, due to Rockefeller Center. The food was incredibly delicious, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely fantastic. The ambiance was just okay in the restaurant, not the best. It's definitely not a place where you can feel overly romantic or kid-friendly. On second thought, maybe a little more on the romantic side, the place was very dark. However, my son and I enjoyed it, so we ended up paying $120 for three courses - an appetizer, main course, and dessert - which was definitely worth the price due to it being restaurant week in NYC.

Celebrated my birthday dinner at this location. The food was very delicious. The staff was very pleasant and efficient. However, the women's bathrooms.
Less desirable for a high-end restaurant. Management definitely needs to come up with the way to keep their bathrooms clean and fresh.

We were celebrating our 8th year wedding anniversary and decided to go there. The place has a romantic sitting with dim lights We were seated in no time, and the server came a very nice young man with a very sexy accent 😀 my husband ordered the wet wings, and I got the dry one. We were both very pleased. My main meal, which was half of chicken with marsh potatoes and a side order or cream spinach and spicy margarita drink I was about to eat my chicken when I realized whatever sauce on it was EXTREMELY salty i scraped it off but by then it had were to the potatoes and and to removing some, I was full and took some home and warm it up the next when I realized the chicken was not cooked to my satisfaction which I did not realize while there due to the lighting Anthony ordered steak and asparagus and a glass of red wine. He was very pleased the place was very clean and the service was fantastic . I probably would not go back due to the lighting being so dark as even when ordering I had my reading glasses on and had to use the light from my phone to see what's there but if I should go back if my husband wants to go the only thing I will ordered is the wings.and the spicy Is margarita.

My first time at the Oliver was 10 years ago, the first impression was very good, nice vibe, I came here to celebrate my friends in NY with me. 10 years later I bring my husband ohh boy, restaurant dirty, all tables was a mess, poor service, my drink came when I asked for my bill!!! food is decent nothing spectacular, it’s a simple restaurant not fancy at all, u can see the food is cheap, salad, bread, the past in general, well a place to go just once in life. Totally different from the last visit. Please, employees of the restaurant, do your job and do a deep cleaning everywhere, specially the entrance, it’s needs to be cozy and first impression is always important. Can imagine how dirty the kitchen is?

I recently visited Olive Garden in Times Square and had some mixed feelings about my experience. To start, the soup was overly salty, which significantly impacted its taste.
However, the restaurant's location is perfect for those looking to take a break from walking around the area or who want a quick meal. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was quick and friendly.
Despite these positives, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for a fancy dinner or a special dining experience. It's a decent option for a quick and light meal while touring Times Square.

Never Ending Pasta Bowl did not disappoint. I ate at the bar upstairs in the main dining room Sunday evening 9/22. The bartender ( who was busy making drinks for the whole restaurant) was attentive and wonderful. Answered all my questions and made some great recommendations. Food came out quickly and was hot. The salad was crisp and the bread sticks were warm. All around a great meal and experience.

It started with curiosity. A place that holds mythical status in the pantheon of Times Square National Fast Casual Restaurant Chains. A place that has earned the devotion of celebrities like Post Malone and attracted journalists from the likes of Food & Wine Magazine to challenge themselves with the Unlimited Pasta Pass. Now, it was OUR TURN to cross the river styx.
We walked in off the sticky sidewalk and were greeted by crisp air conditioning and the nonchalant hostess. She was also a time traveler. Our original wait time was 20 to 25 minutes and miraculously four minutes into ascending the grand staircase to the waiting area on the second floor when we the got the text message. Our table was ready.
We went up the next set of stairs to the host stand on the third floor, where the employee clubhouse exists. Four employees posted here, and none knew what was happening.
As a team we found our table and held hands for prayer. It was at that very moment a manager came to our table and offered to compliment us with two appetizers.
We placed our order.
Yet again, time travel must have entered the picture, because not more than a few minutes after placing our order we were greeted by the parade of garlic breadsticks, croutons, shredded cheese confetti, apps, and entrees.
We did our best to shovel the bountiful vittles into our gullets. But alas, our mortal bodies could only take so much. Our server, without judgment, presented us with a stack of to-go boxes and two bags (to double bag the heft that was sure to come). He placed these takeout containers and a bonus bag of breadsticks down on the table and vanished as if an angel were haunting our table.
We politely declined desert - a sin but a necessity so we would still be able to hobble home on our own two legs. Our server ended the night by giving us each a hearty handshake and a fair thee well.
Overall: Friendly quirky disorganized - and that’s what you’d expect.
Ordered:
Shrimp frito misto
Lasagna fritta
Chicken parmigiana extra crispy (Post Malone-style)
Seafood Alfredo
Italian Margarita
Watermelon Sangria
Unlimited Salad and Breadsticks

A casual and decent Italian spot in the heart of NYC, near Times Square.
We visited for a weekday lunch as a group of five, and the wait time was minimal—around 5-6 minutes.
We opted for the lunch menu, which included unlimited minestrone soup and Caesar salad. The service was relatively quick, and the lady attending to us was very kind and attentive. We also enjoyed limitless cheese on top of our minestrone, which was a nice touch. The seasoning on the salad was a bit intense and overpowered the freshness you’d usually expect, but it wasn’t a major issue.
For the price, it’s solid Italian food—perfect if you're short on time while running around the city.

Went here with my coworkers to get lunch. This is the second location I've been to and the line is a bit long during lunchtime but goes by quickly. Their green sauce is really good and def recommend getting a platter. The shredded beef was tender and was flavorful. The empanada esp the beef one hits every single time!

Excellent Cuban food! I loved the meat and the plantains in particular. I wish there was more seating for lunch, but it's still worth bringing back to your home or office.

As a reviewer, I always hope for a great meal, especially at a place like Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine in Midtown West, but this time, it just didn’t hit the mark. The food, unfortunately, lacked the vibrant Latin flavors that are supposed to be the hallmark of Cuban cuisine, leaving much to be desired.
I ordered the Chicken Platter, expecting a flavorful and satisfying meal. Instead, the chicken was undercooked and lacked the seasoning that would normally bring it to life. It was a real letdown, especially considering the potential of this dish. The sides were just as uninspiring, failing to deliver the bold, comforting flavors you’d expect from a Cuban restaurant.
The only bright spot in my meal was the can of Coke that I had with it. It’s disappointing when the best part of your dining experience is something as simple as a soft drink, but that’s how it went.
While the service was friendly and the atmosphere decent, the food itself fell flat. I hope Sophie’s can bring back the authentic, rich flavors that make Cuban cuisine so special, but based on this experience, it’s hard to recommend this location.

I have been going to Sophie’s for years and the food never disappoints!! I got the shredded beef stew this time and it was just as good as always, especially with the green sauce, which is a little bit spicy (not too hot though). I will definitely come again.

An Indian Culinary Gem in Manhattan.
A quaint yet regal Indian restaurant nestled in the heart of Manhattan, NY. Your senses will be greeted with a symphony of aromas that promise an authentic Indian dining experience. Utsav, which translates to 'festival' in Hindi, truly lives up to its name, celebrating the rich Indian flavors with a special spotlight on Indo-Chinese and Bengali cuisine.
For someone who lived in New Delhi, my palate has been fine-tuned to the intricate layers of spices and techniques that are the hallmarks of Indian cooking. My recent visit to Utsav left me not only impressed but also inspired by their culinary excellence. The Chicken Tikka Masala, a dish that has become synonymous with Indian cuisine worldwide, was a revelation. The chicken, succulent and tender, had imbibed the smokiness from a perfect tandoor char, and was bathed in a rich, velvety sauce that boasted a perfect balance of tangy and spicy notes. Every morsel was a testament to the chef's prowess in blending spices that sing in harmony without overpowering each other.
The Dal Makhani, a staple in North Indian households, was a velvety concoction of black lentils and kidney beans slow-cooked to perfection. The dal was infused with a touch of smokiness and kissed with cream, giving it a luxurious texture that coated the palate with its earthy flavors. The chef's deft hand was evident in the tempering of the dal, which released a cascade of flavors that ranged from the warmth of cumin to the smoky whispers of ghee.
Methi Matar Malai, a dish that is not as globally renowned but equally deserving of praise, was sublime. The fenugreek leaves (methi) imparted a unique nutty bitterness that was beautifully countered by the sweetness of the peas (matar) and the creaminess of the malai (cream). This dish showcased the chef's skill in achieving a delicate balance between contrasting flavors, creating a harmonious dish that was comforting yet sophisticated.
The magic of Utsav lies not only in its ability to deliver dishes that are deeply rooted in Indian culinary traditions but also in its artful presentation and fusion of regional delicacies, such as the Indo-Chinese and Bengali offerings. Each dish I sampled was a reminder of the vast and varied canvas of Indian cuisine, where every region brings its own distinctive flavors and techniques to the table.
The ambiance of Utsav complements its culinary offerings, with décor that whispers elegance and service that is attentive yet unobtrusive. Dining at Utsav is not just a meal; it's an immersive experience that transports you to the bustling streets of Kolkata, the aromatic markets of Delhi, and the vibrant homes of Punjab.
In conclusion, Utsav stands as a beacon of Indian gastronomy in Manhattan, offering an experience that is not just a feast for the stomach but also for the soul. It is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking to indulge in the true essence of Indian flavors, crafted with care, passion, and a profound understanding of the culinary arts. Utsav is not just a restaurant; it is a culinary celebration that stays with you, long after the last bite.

The food is good and they offer some jain options too (paneer butter masala, mixed vegetable sabzi both of these are good. Also, jain hakka noodles and their rasmalai too)
The service is extremely poor and definitely needs to be worked on. Took more than 30 mins to get our order even though the restaurant was 70% occupied.

Went for Saturday lunch. Nobody at reception, had to go looking for someone to take us to the table. Menus were not given to us for a while and had to request for it. Loud Bollywood music playing. Service was poor. Food was average. Order for rice never showed up and at the end it had to be cancelled. Requested onion in the beginning which came at the end. Charged $3 for some onions and lemon which we were told will come with the food anyway. Empty boxes and a paper bag was left for us to pack our own leftover food which is embarrassing as a customer and surprised that an established high profile midtown restaurant would do this. In spite of the poor service and packing our own food 18% gratuity was mandatory.

This was a really cool Irish Bar, situated right in the middle of downtown Manhattan. We sat on the rooftop, which despite not having a great view, was very interesting! The food was great, the drinks were good enough, and the staff was alright. This restaurant took me back in time a little bit, which I mean in the best way possible. If they can get the service part down a little bit better, it'd be a can't miss place! Would recommend.

While on vacation in NYC, we ate dinner at The Perfect Pint in Times Square. This is a really cool Irish Pub with three floors. We went to the third floor, and we were lucky to have Freddy as our server. He was fun and gave us great service. My son and I split the Reuben and the Cheese Steak. They were both so good, and the fries were outstanding. My daughter had the Portobello sandwich, and she said it was very good. The Perfect Pint also has a fantastic selection of beer on tap. If you are in Times Square, this is a good place to eat and have a few beers.

We didn’t eat here just a couple drinks. It was a great Irish bar with a nice bartender! Have a baby Guinness shot and have some fun

Great place to come to in the city if you are in midtown. Some of my personal recommendations are the Gaelic burger with A1 sauce, the lamb burger; if you are not that hungry I would recommend the lobster bisque, the mozzarella sticks, the wings and chicken fingers. They have a nice roof top so you definitely stop by after work.
