This is clearly a more takeout focused restaurant (at least to me), so the interior dine in area was relatively small and the lighting was a little bit jarring.
As for the food, it was overall pretty good. My only complaints would be that the samosas were a little dry and the mixed meat biryani lacked a bit of seasoning, but it's something the complimentary condiments could easily fix.
The lamb tikka masala was delicious and perfectly spiced, and the basmati had a hint of coconut and paired well with the tikka masala. The garlic naan was very well made and was flavorful as well.
Service was good, the man working there was friendly.
Overall, a good experience with good food.

Best restaurant in PLG, and here’s why:
It’s never too busy in here - because so many people order this food to their homes.
The service is always so welcoming, you feel like you’re visiting with family.
There is so much good food to choose from, and they never disappoint. One time I was there and asked for a special side to come with my main course - which wasn’t on the menu, and they just cooked it for me in the spot.
Couldn’t recommend this place more.

Their food is so good. Our go-to order for years has been their lamb korma and saag paneer with samosa and banana pakora—never disappoints! And recently I tried the shrimp saag—the shrimp was huge and super tasty. Also love the garlic naan. They are a little bit pricier than other places but the flavor is worth it.

Delicious! We got the curry special dinner for 1. It was a fun way to try multiple menu items! We also split the one between two people and it was enough for us and extremely affordable. The Mulligatawny soup was the best soup I’ve had in a long time—a must get! Naan was soft, hot, and delicious. The do-piaz curry was also very good. Comfortable indoor seating.
Update: Forgot my card here and they held onto it safely and gave me free soup! 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down one of the best Indian food I’ve tasted in little Carribean. The store is clean, basmati rice portions are huge. Try their fried banana. They also have seafood curry

Jus Fishy is my go-to for a great jerk salmon, with two side options. There fish and fries are also delish! A bit pricey but it's worth the splurge. Make sure to get that garlic sauce for your meal. YUUMMMMM!!!!!

To me, it’s a small hole in the wall type of restaurant. There is no seating to eat inside the store. You order your food to be made mostly . This ensures you get freshly prepared food. And minimize waste. Plan for a 20 minutes wait or order ahead and pick up 20 minutes later. I’ve e joyed my meals from here and k ow of several others that enjoy this restaurant. I’m hoping they can expand while keeping things authentic.

Hidden Gem! Worth the trip! Came for the steamed whiting , fried rice and plantain. The dish was made to perfection. Best place in brooklyn for seafood on the go! They have healthier like veggie rice and mixed veggies as a side. Order for pickup it takes a while they look short staffed but worth the wait.
Devon Benedict - 8 months ago
First time ordering from here. It was from ubereats. I liked the variety in the sides they give you. I ordered salmon, fried rice and rasta pasta. The fried rice didn't look and taste like any I ever had. The rasta pasta was also dry. The food also was bland. However I did like the sauce they put in the bag which made it stand out. I'm curious as to what it was. It's not the pepper sauce.

The food here is excellent!! The place is small so you can’t really dine in. But I usually order out and my family loves it! The food is very tasty from the fried fish, shrimp, to the salmon. They have a variety of vegetables that you can choose from to add to your food. The corn soup is excellent the best I ever had. The price is right for the portion of food you get. And you can choose from fried or steamed fish either way is great! I been coming here for years and thank god the food is fresh and tasty. I give this place a well deserved 10! Is outstanding and clean!! Thank you for your service and food!! I travel from the Bronx to Brooklyn for this food. So that must tell you is Good!! Please consider opening a spot in the Bronx even if is a hole in the wall. Thank you! 😋

Chicken skewers were excellent. Falafel was as good as it gets. All of the dips are 10/10 and their pitas are top shelf as well. Great hidden spot in the neighborhood.

I wanted to try something different from what I usually order out for delivery. This hit the spot. Stuffed grape leaves were nice and fresh. The beet salad was also fresh and tasted good as well. Loved the humus and tahini sauce, which added a nice flavor to the chicken swarma plate. Only criticism is there wasn't enough rice. However, food is very tasty, and I would reorder these food items again.

The best falafel I've eaten in this neighborhood. They no longer have indoor seating, so it's kinda awful to dine outside while it's so cold out. I'd recommend ordering ahead or get a take out. Service is relatively slow since they always seem to have orders coming in.

This is hands down my favorite Mediterranean restaurant in Brooklyn. The service is impeccable and the food is Always delicious. It's a small neighborhood restaurant and the owner is there everyday working just as hard as his employees.

Ordered some chicken skewers for pickup and the food was fantastic. I can't remember the last time I had such big white meat skewers that weren't dry. I love how it was flavorful but not too salty. You definitely get a lot of food. The cucumber salad was on the salty side. Looked like there was several tables in a cute outdoor space on the street as well.

This charming little cafe offers delicious Asian fare, perfect for takeout. While seating is limited, the quality of the food makes up for it. The rolls were flavorful and the drink was refreshing. However, the dipping sauce portions were a bit on the small side, making it difficult to thoroughly coat the rolls. Additionally, a little more wasabi and ginger would have been appreciated. Overall, a delightful option for a quick and tasty Asian food fix, but consider requesting extra sauce and condiments if you prefer a more generous dip.

wow. Okay new sushi place I love. The food was fantastic. It felt small when the order arrived from delivery, which was really quick on Caviar/DoorDash, $36 for 3 rolls b4 taxes & fees, but really it was a significant amount of food just three rolls quite filling and incredibly tasty. I ate half before I thought to take a picture because really it was incredibly delicious.
Sept 1: ordered again tonight and very disappointed with the Oyako roll. Almost no salmon roe. See attached image from seamless menu & compare it to what I just got.

Got the spicy tuna roll and oyako roll (ikura and salmon) and it was very delicious and affordable! They are a bit small so you can probably eat two rolls for a meal under $20.

We’ve ordered from Silver Rice plenty of times and it’s always been good, quality fish and vegan sushi. This last night however, my wife accidentally swallowed a particularly large bone from the eel cup that she had and is currently debating seeing a doctor to remove it (still stuck in her throat after a day). We were also served what I can only be described as…rice crispies covered in gasoline, I thought they were supposed to go over my rice bowl, but they absolutely destroyed the flavor and smelled putrid. Not sure what was happening the other night, but definitely not the Silver Rice we’re used to.

Don’t be deceived by the size and lack of ambiance of this pizzeria ! The food’s very good which is what really matters. Large fresh clams not canned, came with olive focaccia. Only thing missing in my take out order was the grated cheese, under $20.Cash only

I want to say the food from here is great because most of the time it is. But I recently ordered pizza from here and I've never been so sick in my life after eating something. I have no idea what happened but something is definitely wrong with the pizza I ordered because I don't get sick eating anything else.

The food is mostly great. I don’t like that their prices differ depending on what menu you’re looking at. Feels a bit like bait and switch.

They refused to acknowledge their credit card machine malfunction at first. After repeatedly charging my card 3 extra times (refunded me for 2 of those times, I didn’t want to come in again to pick up the last cash refund) it finally worked. The manager apologized for an employee blatantly yelling at me “don’t play with me ms.” for the credit card issue. I was shocked, appalled, disrespected, and understandably frightened by this behavior. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Takeout only. Cash only, but there's an ATM at the door. Toppings are extra and I should have sprung for some hot sauce if I had known the channa was mild. Saltfish was wonderfully tender.

First time trying doubles, got regular and shrimp with everything on it, $8 total, $2 for the regular I believe. Amazing stuff. First time Trinidadian food also, glad I came here after a day at the gardens!!! If I lived close by I'd get 2 or maybe 10 to bring home!
Chickpeas were fresh, sauce had a little heat, the shrimp tender and everything tasted great! Highly recommend this place, 10/10. No experience with any other Caribbean food and was gonna eat elsewhere so couldn't really order the rotis, but that also looked great!

Ordered snackin' bacon, and what I received was undercooked, soggy, and super greasy. It needed 1:30 in the microwave to cook and crisp up. Three stars because the iced coffee and hash browns were (thankfully) very good.

This Dunkin has really stepped up its game under the new management! The service is quick and friendly, and the quality of both the coffee and food has noticeably improved. The staff seems happier, and the whole place has a fresh, welcoming vibe. Kudos to the new team for making Dunkin' a top spot for my daily coffee fix!

Stopped in to dine with my brother, visiting me from out of town.
Ordered curry chicken, brown rice with peas, and cabbage.
Unbeknowest to my my brother had dined an hour before meeting me. Nevertheless, he opted for a beef patty.
The food was not as delicious as the last time, but I was happy, nonetheless, and glad to support this particular establishment.
We were serviced by Ms. Denise. A lovely representative, and I promised her that I would draft a review of my experience 😀
There was also a gentleman server, and he was equally as pleasant and charming as Ms. Denise.
I look forward to my next visit to Gokden Crust and will try the jersey chicken!
Until then, take care and thank you to the Golden Crust Team 💛

I have lived in the neighborhood for 26 years and have know this restaurant from then to now the food has always been delicious the lady is very nice and she remembers who you are even if you call on the phone I have seen her kids grow up when they would be here the menu now has many new and exciting dishes my person favorite has been the house special fry rice you get a bet of pork, chicken, shrimps and beef you add some soy sauce and hot sauce and it's an instant plate for dinner or shrimp fry rice I personally pay for the large shrimps rather than the small. My husband likes the fry pork chops and yes I have taken a few bites from him, but my new thing now is the steam shrimp dumplings oh boy and with the sauce they give you its oh la la but my secret is before I add the sauce I cut them in half so it really soaks up the sauce. Look if you're in the mood try any of my favorites or seek out what you like as I said the menu has new dishes and their food is delicious they also do delivery or if your like me and live close by its and easy pick up.

I went to Gaia Nomaya for their spa experience, which included the salt cave, infrared sauna, red light therapy and steam sauna. I had the most relaxing and healing time! I went on a Friday afternoon, so it was empty and I had the whole place to myself. Meditating in the salt cave was a lovely experience and I really enjoyed the different saunas. Unfortunately the cold plunge pool wasn't working when I went, but it was still a great experience. The service was excellent, everyone was super kind and friendly, I loved the vibe, and I walked away glowing and feeling like I was floating on air! Thank you for the much needed self-care day. Looking forward to coming back and trying out the restaurant as well!

A Transformative Journey at Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐️ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa, and I must say, it was an experience like no other. From the moment I stepped foot into the spa, I knew I was in for something truly special.
The journey began with an enchanting cacao ceremony led by a knowledgeable and compassionate instructor. The ceremony served as a beautiful introduction, allowing us to open our hearts and connect with ourselves and those around us. The guided meditation and breathwork exercises were truly transformative, and I found myself releasing a flood of emotions that had been bottled up for far too long. It was a cathartic experience that left me feeling lighter and more connected to my inner self.
The salt cave at Gaia Nomaya is a true sanctuary of tranquility. As I entered the cave, I was immediately enveloped in a sense of calm and serenity. The walls, made entirely of Himalayan salt, emitted a soothing energy that seemed to cleanse both my body and mind. I spent time meditating and practicing yoga in this serene environment, and it was a truly rejuvenating experience. The combination of the salt-infused air and the gentle sound of flowing water created a peaceful ambiance that allowed me to fully relax and let go of any stress or tension.
The spa also offers a range of other services, including various yoga classes and holistic treatments. The instructors and therapists are highly skilled and passionate about their craft, ensuring that each session is tailored to the individual's needs. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced yogi, there is a class for everyone at Gaia Nomaya. The yoga studio itself is spacious and well-equipped, providing a comfortable and inviting space to practice.
In addition to the exceptional services, the staff at Gaia Nomaya are warm, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment I arrived, I felt like a valued guest. They went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
Overall, my visit to Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa was a truly transformative journey. The cacao ceremony, the salt cave, and the yoga classes all contributed to a profound sense of relaxation, healing, and self-discovery. I left feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and with a renewed sense of inner peace. If you're looking for a unique and transformative spa experience, I highly recommend Gaia Nomaya Salt Cave and Yoga Spa. It is truly a hidden gem that will leave you feeling nourished in mind, body, and soul.

The $20 vinyasa yoga was great for a chill Sunday morning workout. It’s very spiritual with the music and crystals. The entire space itself is amazing with a lounge area that you can hang out at before and after the yoga class. I’m excited to check out the salt cave, Colombian cafe restaurant, and other yoga classes here! Such a hidden gem in Flatbush/Lefferts.

I’m sharing my experience of this venue as the host for German DJ Duo Klangkarussell. I was honestly surprised they picked such a venue but was excited to find out how it would be, since it’s clearly primarily a yoga studio.
I was very pleased at the decorations and the light display matching the music. It offered a few seating options which was great to have for an extended set.
There were many drawbacks to having an electronic show here however.
1. The dance floor was quite small considering the amount of guests.
2. The DJ stage was right across from the first bathrooms and therefore there was always conflicting lighting.
3. The dance floor was covered in yoga rugs, making it hard to dance and there were lots of tripping hazards.
4. Coat check was a little bit chaotic
Some pros were:
1. The meditation room having a bar that no one knew about and therefore was more accessible and easy to speak to the barmaid bcuz of less noise.
2. THE SALT CAVE IS AWESOME
3. There was an artist painting LIVE. Her final piece looked AMAZING.
4. Bathrooms at the back are a great idea
