If you like pizza, arcade machines, and slightly childish atmosphere, it's a hit. Perfect for kids, inducing small kids. Woks great for birthday parties, with a whole personalized spectacle around it. Chuck, the mascot, also periodically appears to dance with kids.

Had my son's 3rd birthday here! Last minute but they were able to accommodate for my family and friends. They have reasonable prices: 2 hour pass is the way to go! Very Toddler friendly...best part CHUCK E. Cheese himself! So inviting and playful its halloween season so the theme was perfect! I highly recommend

Favorite German beer hall in the area! Good selection of beers and wine, fun atmosphere, great service and food! They have trivia night every Wednesday, board games to play, fussball table, big comfy loungey couches, communal tables etc. Fun bar! I also LOVE that they have vegan sausage option on their menu!! I’ll definitely go back next time I’m in the area!

Really good draft beers. The food was skimpy, but tasty. I prefer my schnitzel to be hanging off the plate. Prices seemed fair. A fun hang. Perfectly fine for a dntn Brooklyn, pre-Barclay's show.

Great spot! Outdoor seating under umbrellas as well as cute booths inside. Justin took our order and was super pleasant! Food came out very fast.
Frozen margarita was perfect for a humid summer day and the tacos are awesome.
Side note: really clean bathroom!

It was my first time here and I particularly liked the feeling of community while everyone ordered and enjoyed the delicious foods.
Ambience definitely gives of Mexican vibes, I actually felt like I was outside the United States.
I ordered the grilled shrimp, my oh my - delicious!
This is certainly a fun place to come to with friends.

We bump on this place after liberty games with few friends, and it definitely feel like Mexico. The aesthetic is a bit rowdy but i guess that is what they are going for, I love the food, the art and margarita. Definitely touristy but it’s worth trying and of course Emma was amazing

Cozy neighborhood Mediterranean restaurant. Absolutely adore the interior and the dishes are fabulous. We ordered the dips, garlic shrimp, seafood paella, short ribs, lamb pasta and warm salad, and they were all delicious. The warm salad is definitely not something to sleep on! Highly recommend and great place to have a long dinner with friends. 5/5

Second time at Olea and another great dinner! I love their smaller pocket pitas that’s warm, fresh and soft. Warm salad is very good, and always love their seafood paella and branzino! I’ve had better fried halloumi cheese elsewhere, and the space can feel cramped when busy. But overall a lovely and lively place with great food and service. Will be back again.

The food was phenomenal but the service was mediocre at best.
Greek grilled cheese - probably one of the best grilled cheeses I’ve ever had
Croquettes - not my favorite but my family loved it so probably just a taste preference
Brussels - nice char, good flavor and drizzled with balsamic
Dip trio- good way to try many options and the mini pitas were hot and fresh
Falafel - fresh and crispy but didn’t really taste the artichoke much
As for the service - our waiter was pretty rude, she gave us the check before we even asked/she asked us for it and we were going to order another round of drinks. But oh well, we just paid and left. We got out apps first and when the other server came with the entrees he pretty much rolled his eyes at us because we asked him to clear the dishes from the apps first. We only asked because the tables are small and there was no space for the new plates. It didn’t feel like an unreasonable request
Ambiance - beautiful decor, nice homey vibe

such a cute and homey vibe!! the perfect level of noise that was perfect for a long due catchup with a couple friends. would be perfect for a date or with family
they let us try a bit of the wine before we committed which was really nice. would highly rec the syrah if you like red wine. (also really generous wine portions haha)

We went here for my birthday after going here 2 years ago and loving it. The ambience of the inside is truly unbeatable - the high ceilings, cozy lighting, and mindfully decorated space makes you forget that you're in a bustling city. Dre was our server and he just completed the vibe. He has a great energy. We got the carafe of red sangria which is a fav of our at any spot, but Olea is especially good at it. The trio of dips was definitely too much for 2 people, but I can't complain about an abundance of the best dips ever. Just come ready with an appetite. THEN we got one of the specials, it was a shrimp in garlic olive oil in a mini cast iron skillet and uhhhh oh my god it was so good. I have been thinking about it ever since. We will be back! :)

Deniz in Brooklyn is an absolute gem for anyone who loves authentic Turkish cuisine! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and friendly staff make you feel right at home. I had the pleasure of trying several dishes, and each one was more flavorful than the last. The lamb shish kebab was tender and perfectly seasoned, and the chicken Adana was fantastic as well– the baba ganoush was incredibly fresh.
One standout is the bread, freshly baked and served warm. The attention to detail and quality in every dish is clear. Deniz offers generous portions at reasonable prices, which makes it an even better find. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, offering great recommendations.
anoush was incredibly fresh.
Their drink menu offers a great selection of Turkish wines and cocktails. They also offer non-alcoholic options, and they also have authentic Turkish teas and juices, which are a refreshing treat.
To top it all off, their dessert options are wonderful. We tried the kunefe, which was warm and deliciously cheesy.
If you’re in Brooklyn and craving Turkish food, Deniz is the place to go. Highly recommended for a casual dinner or even a special occasion!

Deniz is a clean, comfortable (I like the availability of single-banquet seating) neighborhood restaurant. The wait staff are attentive and efficient. As a single diner (most of the time) I have never felt like a nuisance...it is also a neighborhood standby.
Anyway, I was not happy with my meal. I ordered the stuffed cabbage and it was soggy and covered with some tomato sauce. There are four small rolls of stuffed cabbage leaves instead of a standard size. No side salad. The bread tasted stale.
I had a bowl of creamy chicken soup. It was healthy tasting but not flavorful
I didn't bother complaining because I don't think the staff would pass it on.
The menu prices are too steep and everything is a single-item purchase.

We came here after my graduation, conveniently straight behind the Barclays. For an occasion to remember; the food was spectacular!!! Everything was well cooked and seasoned to perfection. From the calf liver, hummus, to the platters to even the RICE and HOUSE SALAD. Every meat items was tender soft and juicy. ESPECIALLY THE LAMB CHOPS, so good we ordered another after everyone was done. Never had such great lamb like this before. But for really everyone was impressed with the amount of flavor with everything included the rice and salad which we also had to take home.
really recommend if you want Turkish food. THE STAFF AND SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT, for they even accommodated my Dad to have a prayer space during Asr and Isha time.
Deniz is something to talk about everytime we’ll talk about my accomplishments of graduating

10/10 would recommend and a great option if in Brooklyn. I LOVE Turkish food, but hadn’t eaten much of it since moving to NYC.
I have found my place! The crust on the pizza is just delicious. The salads taste so fresh. And the lamb! I never clean my bone but had to with the lamb chops

Honestly i forgot names but
1. The Dip Hummus plater was bussin and worth every bite esp the bana ganoush
2. Zaatar bread was super unique in the taste profile which i reccomend geting and the consistency of the bread was like thin pizza but also a pita??
3. The main dish with salmon, lamb chops and shrimp in skewers were a highlight. The salmon was my favourite of all.
A really decent pricing quality and portion

I was looking for a high end yet casual spot to eat while I was nearby working with my cousin and her associate. Black Iris exeded expectations after I read a review about the hummus being bussin'. Can confirm the bussin'

If you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in NYC, look no further than Black Iris! The food is nothing short of spectacular. The lamb is tender, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection — it’s definitely a must-try. And don’t even get me started on the hummus — it’s smooth, flavorful, and the perfect accompaniment to any meal.
What really sets Black Iris apart, though, is the outstanding customer service. The staff is incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It's clear that they genuinely care about your experience. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a regular, you’ll leave feeling like family.
Highly recommend for anyone craving a delicious meal in an inviting atmosphere!

Was very excited to come here, but ended up being very disappointed. Came here for lunch and the restaurant was pretty much empty, but the service was unfortunately not great. As far as the food goes, I believe it is outrageous to serve canned grape leaves for $11. The beet salad was alright. My friend and I both got the chicken wrap and they were very bland- we only ate half each. The restaurant itself is very beautiful and I wish the rest was as good as the ambience.

I have ordered from here quite a few times. I ordered 4 pies today & they were ready quickly. One of the pepperoni pies was barely cut... not a big deal. What I can't ignore is the fact that a whole cheese pie was burnt. There is no way that pie should've been served. I am disappointed...

Hot piping, fresh, delicious, NY slice right here in Fort Greene.
How lucky are we to live close nearby. As my Mother-in-law said about this place: "I don't know how I would survive living next to a pizza that is so good".
After trying all of their slices, we have a favorite: White Pesto. Yum!
2nd place: Stuffed meat pizza.
See you soon, dear pizza.

Called to make sure they had Gluten Free bagels, very courteous. They had plain and everything gluten-free.
Upon arrival they were very helpful with a first timer. Paid $16 for a gf lox deluxe bagel sandwich, not bad considering it was house made, gourmet and only could eat half, cos it was massive. Also had the popular bacon, egg, cheese on a gf everything bagel sandwich, $12.
Will come back for sure.

The most inconsistent bagel spot I’ve ever been to. Sometimes the bagels are great quality New York bagels other times they taste like old toast and aren’t better than supermarket bagels. I live nearby and been dozens of times, just never know what I’m gonna get.

Ok, this is a great neighborhood spot with affordable drink and good music ( r&b, hip hop etc) currently there’s no kitchen but they allow you to bring in your own food. At night a taco food truck comes at night as well. Great watering hole to meet up with friends. Bartenders are friendly and mix the drinks well.

This place was a one and done spot for me. I liked sitting outside better then being inside this spot. As it got later in the night I wondered how anyone living above this place could enjoy their apartment with the super loud music and voices from this bar. I guess you have to be a regular customer to enjoy.

Typical coldstone experience. Tucker away in for see or shopping plaza. The service was excellent.
Being in the shopping plaza sorta detracts from the atmosphere as it is tucked away in the corner. However, nice to be close to target and some other stores.
I like the milkshakes but like a lot of the menu items in general at coldstone.

Went there last night for the first time.
They have a great selection.
I got a very thick peanut butter milkshake and it was excellent. But the calories are another thing so I’ll not make it a habit of coming here too often. 5/5 stars.

Waffle bowl ice cream was amazing, and the guy gave me a cold milk cup (I was really craving it; don’t ask why). He smiled and said, “ you’re the first one to ask” and gave it to me even though it wasn’t on the menu. 5⭐️
