We sat outside for a quick lunch. The server was friendly and checked on us several times. Good beer selection and the nachos were awesome.

An excellent pub in Brooklyn Heights. The bartender and entire staff are on point, swift and smart. The food is good pub fare, I had the fried chicken sandwich, and while a bit dry, it hit the spot. I’ll be back as often as I can for this staple in NYC pubs. Nachos are great!

The girlfriend and I weren’t terribly impressed with this place. All the food we got was not in line with what we had expected. We were especially disappointed by the chicken tenders, which were nothing like the stereotypical chicken tender you’re going to get anywhere else. They’re battered with tiny (I mean tiny) slivers of chicken. Don’t think we will go back if we are craving bar food of any kind. Fried pickles were decent though.

Somehow whenever I go out somewhere and it doesn't work out, I end up at an English style pub (which is ironic as a Brit)
I was very surprised at how good the fish and chips were. The waitress Renee was super friendly.
Will absolutely come back!

Amazing restaurant! Definitely a place to visit again! My veal chops were light, right temperature, amazing sauce! Would definitely recommend

Food was alright (not meeting expectation tho) but the service from the female staff was very unkind. Not all staffs were unkind, but she was particularly making things uncomfortable. You have some room to improve :)

Probably the best restaurant in downtown Brooklyn. It gets really busy because the food is awesome and the prices are fair. The bar is excellent, the food is amazing. It is cash only which can be inconvenient for most; but since I'm an OG I kind of love it. They will also take a local check.

I loved the mushroom pasta, and the ambiance. The garlic bread with spicy sauce was a great treat, at the same time crunchy and fluffy. The swordfish tasted really good, but it was a bit dry. The staff was friendly, but slow, very clearly overwhelmed by the number of customers.

Definitely worth the trip, although not a 5 star. As everyone noted, this is CASH ONLY. Before 10pm, nearest ATM is 5-10 mins, after 10pm it's 10 mins so do bring enough cash for a good tip.
We went without a booking at 9pm for 5 people. Indoors did have an excellent vibe but we were starving so were happy to sit in the outside covered section without waiting 40 mins. Even in December at 9 degrees (European) with the heater at the back it was definitely not even needed for jackets.
Front of house is amazing, so friendly and chatty. As we were outside, getting attention or staff became tricky but everyone was very nice when we did.
Despite it's reputation, we went for the garlic bread with homemade chilli oil, which is 100% a winner & still sad we didn't buy any. Do save some if you get pasta to mop up the juices as it went so well with the lasagne. The cacio e Pepe with asparagus & egg yolk went down very well, and the wine selection isn't outstanding but decent enough.
We skipped dessert but everything looked great. I'd 100% recommend this as a safe, delicious, and fun bet for a group dinner. Would definitely go back.

I enjoy coming to this diner for breakfast and lunch. I love the omelettes and their homemade french fries. For lunch, they have some really nice salads which are fresh and have great ingredient combos.
The inside is very comfortable with mostly booths and there is also an outside patio which is really nice in the warmer weather. The staff could not be friendlier or more attentive.

I absolutely love Park Plaza! The owner is such a wonderful person. I have celebrated most of my best moments there. My wedding, my college graduation and today my daughter’s birthday. The employees are so welcoming and kind.
I am always excited to visit when I go back to Brooklyn.
Please make sure when you’re visiting to tell a friend or two or three. The place holds a lot of people for any event. The new outdoor space is beautiful at night.

Forget about the fancy places around or in the market, this is it.
Great food, great service and fair prices.
Nicolás Oneto - a week ago
The food at this restaurant is delicious and offers good value for the price.
However, the service leaves much to be desired. During my visit, I ordered a coffee refill twice, but the server forgot it both times. Instead, the server sat at the bar doing nothing.
This significant lapse in service was disappointing and detracted from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience. Improvements in service reliability and attentiveness would greatly enhance the overall experience for patrons.

Good food, wine and service. Although More known for their game, their salads are very nice, as are their fish dishes.

I have been eating at Henry’s End for many years and it’s one of my favorite places in Brooklyn Heights. I come for Brunch, lunch and dinner often - the food is excellent and the staff is friendly and I always enjoy the vibes. I love that at brunch they have a new donut they fresh make every day. For brunch I love the French toast and the Egg Torta, and the fried chicken sandwich is delicious too. I love the unique dinners, different types of game like duck and elk chops and other dishes you don’t see anywhere else. This place is family owned and has been in the neighborhood for years, I see some people are leaving 1 star reviews who have never been here and I am someone who has and I truly have always enjoyed my experiences here and would recommend to anyone else

Consistently delicious food with meat centric menu and amazing service.
They are famous for their game dishes and my antelope steak with potato gratin was 10/10! The red snapper was also great - nicely flaky and well seasoned.
Though it is definitely a place to try all those exotic meats like elk chops, bison, boar end even a turtle soup.
They have great wine selection. I was impressed you can get a glass of 1970 Medoc Bordeaux for $25 only - in most places you'd have to splurge for a bottle.
The grilled vegetables with polenta and mushrooms salad were perfect apps and also above expectations.
Try not to get stuffed on the fluffy bread in the very beginning!
The ambiance is very casual, though it could easily be a place for a special occasion. They are pretty full every day, so definitely make a reservation at least 3-4 days in advance.

Beyond happy and grateful I found this place. The food was exceptional, my drink was splendid! ( If you have the chance to visit get the margarita… still dreaming of it 🥰 ) I had the burger… SO SO GOOD!!
Two regrets on my end… not getting a burger to-go and not asking the owners if they ship food all they way here to California!
Being stranded for the holiday in Brooklyn had a silver lining because I stumbled across this wonderful restaurant and staff. They made me feel at home, like I was family. Thank you 🩷
Many blessings to you all and happy holidays!
( But seriously? Do you ship to California? 😁)

I loved everything from the decorations to the service and the amazing french toast. The prices are a little high but the portion sizes for the food were also pretty big, I split mine with my cousin which ended up being just right.
We came with our dog and the staff was so nice, we got a table in the back outdoor patio and they brought out a doggy bowl for water.

Fantastic brunch and even better espresso based drinks. The menu itself isn’t anything super out of the ordinary but everything is done well. Their coffee menu has some fun features that are worth a try. Our server was also super sweet and made the experience a standout for us.

I would’ve hoped for more food for the price but it was a great spot! We made a reservation for a Saturday morning but the place was weirdly dead - I think that’s a fluke though, so I highly recommend making a reservation. 5 min walk to the river and 10 min to Brooklyn bridge. Easy access to the subway from Manhattan.

Vineapple was a solid brunch spot with good drinks and creative food options.
The lattes were good hot and cold, though I wish the hot latte came hotter (it was a bit lukewarm). The iced latte with pistachio milk was delicious.
The shakshuka was good with Parmesan and avocado as unique toppings. Wish it came with more bread and a spoon to make it easier to eat. Would also be good with more spices (to break up the tomato flavor)
The brunch carbonara was fun, though the noodles themselves were a little chewy for me. I liked the poached egg with runny yolk and the peas.
Overall I wouldnt go out of the way to come here but its a nice spot to stop and get food/drink
Jun Simons - a month ago
The space is much bigger than it appears from the outside. It got a bit of a diner vibe. The staff are very friendly but not always paying attention. They did suggest a very nice non-alcoholic drink. Frozen margarita was very sweet. They had live music that was not intrusive.
The food fell a little short. Not bad, but just not great. Earnest, if not interesting. I think it might be much better for lunch or brunch.
The mushrooms on the crostini needed acidity and warmth.
The fig with prosciutto crostini needed the meat to be sliced thinner to make it easier to eat.
The roasted eggplant main course needed more roasting, much more dressing, acidity, spice, heat, and something crunchy.
The duck ragu was fine but bland.
The staff were accommodating when I asked for extra things to try to fix up the food a bit.

If you like a crispy slice then look no further! Great low-key little place serving some really solid pizza. I’d give it 8/10. The base is just special. It’s almost like fried toast in its texture but still keeps that fresh doughy flavour. The topping and sauce is a little forgettable but sprinkle it up with plenty of added seasoning and enjoy that crisp!

Some Of the best pizza in Brooklyn! I used to eat lunch and dinner here several times a week years ago. I miss this place. You can't go wrong with a true NY style pizza and pepperoni is the best. I Love Fascati's, it was a large part of my life as a young man in Brooklyn. Buy their pizza!
C Dub, Jr - 7 months ago
A limited selection, pretty much just plain pizza and some toppings. Fascati makes a near flawless regular slice. $3 and no flop at all. The dough is perfect, as well as the sauce. The sauce is flavorful, not too sweet. The cheese tasted a bit weird at first but I think it may have been a fluke. Overall, this pizza is wonderful.

Oh my goodness! Crazy good pizza!
We visited Fascati Pizzeria with my family and it was amazing. Their pizza slices are delicious and huge. I ordered two pepperoni slices and a drink. Wow, what a place. You have got to visit Fascati’s if you are in Brooklyn.

I came here for an after wedding dinner. As soon as you walk in the bartender at the bar greets you with a friendly welcome. You’re seated faster than most places. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. The lighting is not too bright and the music is not too loud so you can actually hear who you’re talking to. I had the linguine with fresh clams. The pasta was cooked to a tender texture. Personally, I prefer a little bit more flavor to my food so I had to sprinkle on some salt and pepper. The desserts are delicious and provide a nice ending to your meal. Overall, it was a great experience not taking into account our waiter repeatedly asking us if we wanted to purchase a bottle… Like three times to be exact.. All good.. I still recommend this spot.👍🏼

Well here we go again, back at our favorite place celebrating my best friends brand new chapter in life - 30 years old. When we decided to go back we said we would get the same dishes we ordered last time - Salmon and Clam linguini because they were absolutely delicious.
Then I saw the Chicken Piccata and couldn't help myself, had to try something new ::insert mind blown GIF:: Little did I know the chicken picacata would turn into my new favorite dish here. The chicken was beautifully laid on a bed of greens, potatoes and a mouth watering lemon / caper sauce. That sauce was so good, not one drip of it was left behind. Only reason I didn't pick the plate up, put it to my face to lick the rest of the sauce is because I actually have some table manners. Lol
The clam linguini was just as good this time as it was the last. This place never lets me down. The service is good and chill. Great location just minutes away from the Dumbo water front.

Very delicious food! Came here with a big party and they were very attentive and accommodating. The food came out at the same time for all 15 of us and was warm. They have gluten free options including pasta but not pizza. The chard dish was the best!

Unfortunately, most of the stuff we hot was either soggy or just very cold. The steaks were okay. The calamari was not crispy nor hot at all. All of our eggs were very average. I did love the fries though. Service was great and the vibe of the place is sweet. Overall, we were REALLY disappointed with the food.

Great selection for today. There was a bit of a wait but I definitely see why. The service was top notch and the food was A1. The big breakfast is the way to go. You get everything from pancakes to eggs, sausage and bacon. This now one of my favorite places in Brooklyn.

Great food although a little expensive. wasn't too busy when i went there for lunch on a weekday but i heard it gets busy on the weekends for brunch. I had the eggs benedict and a cookie and both were super good. I would have given it a higher score but the waiter was never around and the people next to us were so loud that people around us kept staring and making comments but the staff did nothing to address this.
Juan Chavez - 2 months ago
I would usually give this place a five out of five. I’ve been a regular for over a year since moving into the dorms across the street. The food is consistently amazing, and the service is usually excellent. However, my most recent experience forced me to lower my rating. There is a waiter who has served me twice now, and both times, his behavior was extremely rude. He forgot several items from my order and brought me the wrong drink order, and when I politely asked for them again, he responded with a blatant attitude. Despite my efforts to be courteous and introduce myself, he did not tell us his name or respond to anything my boyfriend and I said. We would say thank you, and he would just give us a blank stare. When I dine out, I expect at least decent service. Given the number of times I've come here, I was hoping for better. This negative experience has made me reluctant to return. If you encounter a waiter with both arms covered in tattoos, I would recommend dining elsewhere.

The best (and cheapest) sushi spot in all NYC!!! We got edamame, and gyoza as appetizers. We got the Monkey Roll, 2011, Snow Mountain, Atlantic, Hard Rock, and the Hana Roll. Fantastic food, great service, convenient location! While visiting Brooklyn, we stopped into Height Falafel for a quick and easy dinner and had zero regrets. The food was delicious and so cheap! Chicken shawarma plate was delicious! We asked for a side of pita bread. My friend and I came a little before closing and the owner was an absolute sweetheart making friendly conversation and joking around with us. He gave us a piece of the baklava and falafel to try - the baklava wasn’t too sweet which I liked and the falafel was also yummy and had a nice crunch on the outside and soft inside. Definitely want to try the falafel sandwich next time!
