Loved it. Got my favorite (and hard to get) snow pea sprouts, soup dumplings, and fried rice. The duck my friend got was tasty as well. The people who worked there were nice and professional.

A perfect authenticity between traditional chinese flavors and americanized dish items. Easily the best sesame chicken I've had in the city, and the chow fun noodles are thick cut with perfect texture combination between meat, veggie, and carb. Top 3 chinese eatery for me.

We looked for a good dim sum restaurant before going to the Natural History Museum and found one on Google. However, the food was not exceptional, and nothing really stood out. We have had better dim sum in other places. The service was decent, and so was the atmosphere.

The pork chop, cauliflower, and the fried rice noodles are super super super salty. The dim sum items are pretty good! And good thing is that many main dishes come with rice. Service is below expectation. The waitress asked us once throughout the entire dining “how was everything”, but no response to our comment “these two dishes are too salty.”

Sarabeth’s Upper West Side serves up a great breakfast. The menu has the usual suspects for an American style breakfast. Omelettes packed with cheese along with vegetables and meats depending on the order. Service courteous and prompt. If your cell phone isn’t working, you can make a call from the pay phone in the basement. Do have some gluten free options.

We celebrated my husband’s early Bday dinner yesterday at Sarabeth’s UWS location, and it was such a delightful evening! From the front entrance, entire staff were extremely friendly and courteous. We dined really early, so it was quite in the restaurant which was perfect for us. Food was great and drinks were strong and delicious. Everything was great but Chicken Pot Pie was our favorite. It was savory, creamy and rich. Chocolate toffee cake was extremely rich and delicious as well. Overall, a really pleasant evening thanks to wonderful staff and great food!

Showing it's age... It might be Amazing for tourists, but the competition is stiff on the UWS. Everything is showing it's age at this point, and it's time for a refresh... Service was Good - but not Excellent, Good was Good - but not Excellent and Atmosphere is a little less than good with chairs that are loose, dirt in the corners and the crevices. It's time to close down for a week, clean up, shape up and start fresh. You guys are Better than this

Loved this place. Very cute, intimate, peaceful place with outstanding food! Michelle took great care of us. I especially enjoyed the lemon and herb braised chicken with fingerling potatotes from the Restaurant Week special menu. I hope that becomes a regular dish- so tender and the sauce was amazing! A new favorite place 😀

The restaurant week $30 two-course lunch was quite good. The watermelon and pumpkin seeds added textural contrast to the gazpacho, while the avocado gave it some richness. The doubled dipped crispy chicken was served on a bed of cabbage salad. The amount of dressing was just right but it could have done away with the cornbread croutons as there were not crisp or but rather dry and crumbly. Price-wise this offer is almost getting the first course for free as most plates are around the $30.

Recommended for wings, sports and groups! This is a great local establishment, it is relaxed, tons of seating (with a backroom) and leaps of TVs to watch any game that's on (ask the friendly staff for your pick!). The wings continue to be crispy. The bucket of 50 you can split into 2 flavors, we did mild and medium, but so many more and spicy levels. We enjoyed the new fried cheese curds, omg the aioli sauce is the best, sweet potato fries, soft pretzels and chicken fingers. Enjoy, I always look forward to coming back here!!

Have been coming here 10+ years and the wings never disappoint. For wing lovers who want the full breakdown - always super crispy - not dry which is the most important. Great sauce to wing ratio and they’re fresh, never soggy. Dine in is always better than take out (this is a general rule for wings) and they have a large scale of heat levels to choose from. A bit pricey but worth it - the more you buy, the better the deal (ranges from 10-full buckets etc. Otherwise - staff is friendly and the big scale sports games are usually on all the time, if not, there’s music playing. They have wing specials throughout the week and a pretty extensive menu outside of wings as well. You can sit at the bar or at tables, nothing fancy but that’s part of the charm.

From the moment I walked through the door, I was treated so fantastic by everyone who worked there. The host Jill made me feel welcome and special. I was able to watch the Mets and basketball at the same time. The place was totally packed, yet my waitress brought me a taste of an amazing ipa and the best wings in NYC. Stephanie and Chloe never let my beer go empty. Amazing experience in every way. Highly recommended.

Definitely a divey scene, but came in to watch a basketball game and there was a good crowd. Plus, if you are in search of the perfect Buffalo wings, I highly recommend this place. They were crispy without being dry, generously sauced, and great flavor wing sauce. 10/10 would come back for more

This is now our go to place for South Indian food. Typical udupi setup/experience, small seating space, probably accommodating about 40-50 people at any given time. Sarath, our friendly server always welcomes us with a smile and is quick to take down our order. It's your staple food and you can't go wrong as long as you stick with the classics. Our little one absolutely enjoys their Ghee Dosa and the Sambar Vada is absolutely delicious. They can probably reduce their portion sizes (and with that their prices), so yeah, this place is slightly on the more expensive end and paying $8.75 for Mango Lassi is just unfair! Noise level is on average side. Service is quick and depending on what you order, food arrives anywhere between 2 to 15 mins.

I have been going for quite a while now. They’ve recently upgraded the entire restaurant and it looks great. The menu is new too and it has clearly labeled vegan options. The food is fantastic but slightly spicy, of course a sign of authenticity 😆. Be mindful while ordering. The bathroom could be better, it’s v small and clumsy.

Great food. Vegetarian options. Good flavor. Loved the masala dosa. The paper one is so big ! But little burnt. There’s a bathroom. The space inside is nice. Close enough walk to metro and Central Park. Wasn’t busy for lunch. The service is good. I liked everything. Would come back to this chain. Maybe just a bit pricey compared to other places.

Below Average Indian food ! The stars I have given is for Dosa .. all their dosas are good but if u order something else, u are getting something below average! I ordered this MIXED VEG PAROTTA (MVP.. as they call it) had almost no veggies , very less parotta pieces and was filled with Chana (chick peas - the cheapest ingredient) It had absolutely no flavor & the spice blend was totally wrong - I couldn’t take more than 3 bites of it !! Total waste of money !! We then had to order dosa and it was okay - nothing exceptional ! Wouldn’t recommend this place !

The idli here satisfied my craving. I'm emotionally attached to idli, The chutneys were great too. The tea was great too. I prefer strong tea and soft idli. My friend got a parotta here and it's one of the best I saw in the city. Parotta and not paratha which was great. The super layered parotta is so yumm and the korma smelled amazing. Probably my fav South Indian place in the city.

This place is always packed but table service or bar service is always excellent. They treat you right. The wings are big and bountiful. The burgers are great and really good drinks. I wasn’t impressed with the quesadillas though. Not enough filling.

Very busy, fairly unremarkable bar/restaurant that’s been around for many years. Decent drinks, beer and food. Bartenders not so communicative. Food was okay but not terrific. Three bathrooms, which was nice; no waiting. Asked to pay cash, but by the time I got back from the bathroom a different bartender had already swooped up and charged by credit card. Extra 3%. No big deal, but still…

My husband and I went off the tourist track and visited this bar today! Lovely chilled atmosphere! Server more than helpful and we can watch Liverpool game there on Sunday! Good selection of beers (husband expert level beer taster having had his own bar) had chicken wings and a lovely conversation with a library expert local who I assume is a regular … nice speaking to a New Yorker about all things American and British! We had been looking for a nice local bar and this was definitely one we were pleased to go in!

Not the first time here and it's a good local neighborhood bar. They have a ton of outdoor seating, in front, on the side and a large curb side shelter as well. Lots of craft beer on tap and full menu. Service was prompt, hostess seated us outside right away and server was right over. They brought a water dish for my dog. I did feel the mozzarella sticks were pretty skinny but I guess those are the times. Overall great place for a brew and food.

This was my first time at this location. The menu seems to be identical to the downtown location. The food was good but I like the downtown location better - this one is much smaller, pretty loud and felt cramped since the tables are so close to each other. We had soups, sandwich, rice bowl and chocolate cake. Very nice and the cake wasn’t overly sweet, just right.

One of the best meals we had. Both the plantain lasagna and sushi are highly recommended. I had the berry cheesecake and my partner had the pb chocolate cake. Both good (his better ;))

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this place, and I must say, it was an experience to remember! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm welcome and a delightful array of colorful, mouth-watering desserts. The menu was extensive, offering a variety of options from classic pastries to innovative creations, all vegan and Jain friendly. I decided to try the vegan banana bread and macron and it was divine. The banana bread was moist and rich, perfectly balanced by the sweetness. It was clear that high-quality ingredients were used, and the skill and care put into baking it was evident in every bite. Mini brownie was average but I plan to visit this place again.

Lively sports bar with good service and polite staff. The prices are affordable, making it a great spot to hang out. They also have a speakeasy downstairs, where I attended a private event. It’s a pretty cool space with an exposed original brick ceiling, adding to the charm.

Stopped by for F1 racing, NFL, and a couple beverages... the place was busy but not packed. The staff were kind and helpful. We didn't eat but the food looked and smelled good. Good atmosphere.

Traditional dive bar located on the UWS. Cool vibes, great bar food - love the chicken tenders and tator tots. I've gone here over the years and always have a great time with my friends. The staff are friendly and professional. Watch your favorite sports teams on one the numerous flat screens. Music will have you boppin' and singing along. You can have a private party here too. I believe they have live music - bands playing on certain nights. Reasonably priced. Great Happy hour prices.

On a beautiful Tuesday night, I was looking for something to do in the city that never sleeps. After visiting 2 other bars that had rude or tired employees, we happened to find Jake's dilema. Immediately, we felt at ease, and Wade welcomed us and treated us like the happy celebratory humans we were. This was a beautiful way to discover a new place to hang out while in the city. I am hoping we can start an open mic night or something, so I will be coming back to speak to Wade and the manager about that. My only complaint is having to go down a flight of steps to get to the restroom. It's not fun when you're tipsy to have to go up two steps, down about 12 steps, and then down 2 more steps. Yes, I counted it was actually a running joke all night with us (though my count may be off, I was really tipsy at this point.) Overall, I really enjoyed this place, and it's all because of the bartender and how amazing he is. Thank you, Wade!!!

Haven’t been in almost 10 years and I was pleasantly surprised. Met some friends for a birthday party and we had fun. All the door men were extremely friendly and cool. Probably won’t be back only because I’m from the lower east side, however if I’m in the neighborhood I’ll definitely be back

I recently had the lunch special at Land Thai Kitchen and ordered the green curry. It was flavorful and aromatic, with tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and just the right balance of spice.
