So good! We loved this place! The sliders are such a cool idea and delicious.
The lentil soup and hummus were perfect. As always, Middle Eastern cuisine has plenty of vegan options. The staff were so friendly and make you a priority - it was a lovely environment!
My partner loved the mint tea!

This Middle Eastern establishment is owned by a Palestinian and the dishes ranges within the region. We ordered an appetizer with an assortment of pita bread but the bread came unbelievably cold.
My friend had the vegetarian dish while I selected their lamb dish with rice. The meat was flavorful and tasty but felt like something was missing. The food was pretty decent but on the pretty expensive spectrum for the portions and quality.
This establishment does provide a home like experience and the service was a tad aggressive nonetheless the service staff were friendly and courteous.

I grew up on this food, and this place did not disappoint overall. The grape leaves (warak einab) was the standout dish for me, as it was cooked perfectly in a well-made broth. The lamb shank special was okay, it was a bit under seasoned and under salted but was coked perfectly. The complimentary pickles and bread was appreciated, especially the one with delicious za’atar. The service was incredible, I felt like the staff extended the authenticity of the palestinian culture beyond just the food, but also the hospitality.

We came to this restaurant for dinner. Our waiter was somewhat rude and not very friendly. We ordered the falafel, kale salad special and shawarma sliders. The falafel was average. The shawarma sliders were cold and also average. The salad was very sour and had bad tomatoes in it that made me gag and instantly spit it out. We ordered kunafi for dessert which came with cold cheese. Although it was pretty good. Overall, considering the high reviews of this place, I was disappointed by the food and experience.

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. The food is Middle Eastern and is similar to other Mediterranean cuisine. I ordered the vegan baked eggplant. It consisted of layers of eggplant, tomato, potato, onion, bell peppers and almonds served with basmati rice. It was well-prepared and not spicy. The vegetarian combination includes a variety of appetizers. Shulbato, lentil pilaf, vegetarian grape leaves and dandelion appetizers. It includes a tomato salad. The shulbato is prepared with bulgar wheat pilaf, tomato sauce, chick peas and vegetables. The restaurant has an additional attached location on 77th Street for pickup and takeout orders. Friendly and helpful staff.

My experience from making a reservation, the staff, food presentation, desserts was EXCEPTIONAL! Let’s start here. THE SPECIALS. Read them. Fantastic! If they don’t spark for you, go with the signature dishes, shrimp and beans. Penne with the escarole and breadcrumbs. (If you want gluten free - TELL THEM) the grilled chicken marinade with string beans or broccoli rape. WHATEVER. THERE IS NEVER A BAD MEAL THERE. Desserts. Afogato! A MUST. Tiramisu. Beautiful. The drinks….Amazing. Thank you GINOS FAMILY!

Gino's was packed the Friday night I went to dinner, however, the service was speedy and excellent. The wait was very little for food and drinks. The food was delicious and flavorful. Would recommend

Gino’s in Bay Ridge is hands down one of my favorite spots to visit. I go there at least 2-4 times every couple of months, and every time, the experience is top-notch. The food is consistently outstanding, but I’ve got to give a special shoutout to their Chicken Vodka Parm—it’s out of this world! The flavors are incredible, and the dish is always cooked to perfection. Whether I’m dining in with family or grabbing a quick bite, the food never disappoints.
But what truly sets Gino’s apart from other places is the service. Every time I go, Mario is the waiter who takes care of me and my family. He’s hands down the best waiter you could ask for—attentive, friendly, and always going above and beyond to make sure we’re comfortable and well taken care of. His service truly makes the experience special, and it’s a big part of why I keep coming back.
Between the amazing food, the fantastic service, and the warm atmosphere, Gino’s has become a go-to spot for me, and I will continue coming back for years to come. Highly recommend!

Awesome variety of dinner options and so delicious. Great atmosphere that you can dine and wine with your spouse or family and feel like it can go on forever. My third time here and will definitely be going back. BTW their appetizers are awesome as well.

The Italian restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. I have dined at with family and ordered takeout for several years. I ordered pizza and it was good. The side order of meatballs were two average size meatballs that were firm. The meatballs were very salty and disappointing. The eggplant parmigiana hero was on soft bread and was average. The whole wheat pasta with artichoke and peppers was also disappointing. Very little vegetables, the asparagus pieces were chewy and the dish was salty. I arrived to pickup my order and all this food which totalled over $50 was placed in to small shopping bags. Several loose pieces of bread were thrown in and not very tempting to eat. I drove home and the bag with my pasta was upside down and the oil dripping everywhere you could imagine. I would strongly urge the restaurant to place large orders in pizza boxes like other Italian restaurant restaurants and pizzerias. I would also suggest including some utensils and napkins for a large order or ask the customer and include this as an option when placing an online order.

Had some lunch at Nature's Grill and it is one of the better restaurants in Bay Ridge. I like going here, even though the items are a little pricier, because they truly taste better and fresher.
Not sure how much of that is the marketing or the way they present themselves, but the food definitely tastes healthier!
I ordered the El Mexicano wrap, which is more of a burrito. It tastes better than most of the burritos you can get from any Mexican restaurant. I always order this item, since it hits the spot of being filling without feeling fast food-y.
The wraps come with a side of bluecorn tortilla chips and a grapefruit slice, which also feel last fast food-y. The meal is pretty filling and with some hot sauce, the flavor is delicious.
They also have a nice kids menu offering of a chicken and cheese wrap, that comes with the same sides and a fruit smoothie. The smoothie is a big hit with my family and the chicken and cheese wrap is simple, but delicious.
I recommend coming here if you want something above the normal fast casual fare.

Disappointed to see a neighborhood place continue to go down on value of food service and price.
Taste of China bowl used to be my go to but now they made portions significantly smaller barely any broccoli and meat and as very low quality cuts. Also extremely salty now.
The plate of basically just rice for $25
Either charge accordingly or make your portions of value to price not sure what happened to this place but this is probably my last visit

The staff was so nice the food was amazing. The looks of the place were phenomenal. The drinks looked and tasted amazing, but it was a long wait, and a staff member with red hair kept screaming the menu was only winter and if you wantedsomething else you would have to search it up, but overall, it was a great experience

The renovation made less seating with outlets, and less seating in general is problematic. There is no more rear high seating by the old pick-up area, I think it's office space now. The front has no longer couch, I think it was turned into office space or storage. All in all it looks better but not great for people who want to use laptop.
The refill mugs are dirty, disgusting! They give you a "clean new" mug but, I suggest you really look at the mug before you sip, wish I knew before risking hepatitis A.

I've been here a few times in the past 3 years and I went today with my mother for lunch, and I was not dissapointed. We both ordered the lentil soup and chicken adana special and it definitely hit the spot. The soup was delicious and the kebab was cooked well and it was juicy. I just wish that they would update the interior of the restaurant. It looks very outdated and even a little run down in my opinion. It doesn't help that they have competition in the neighborhood, such as Istanbul Bay on 80th Street and Ay Kebab on 86th Street. Both of them also have renovated interiors and serve food that is up to par with Hazar. But if I'm being honest, the employees at Ay Kebab acted like they didn't want to be there the last time I ate there. Speaking of employee attitudes there was a cashier/waiter at Hazar that was extremely friendly and courteous so they have that over Ay Kebab. I haven't been to Istanbul Bay in Bay Ridge in over three years but I remember the workers being friendly and their lamb and rice tasting great. Sorry for rambling so much but my point is you should definitely give Hazar a try, especially if you're craving turkish food on a budget.

Just got a take out order from them and it was amazing! The gyros were delicious and the babaganoush tasted great with the homemade bread. We ordered a large order for our Ramadan iftar, they gave us two free desserts along with it and our total was much more inexpensive than if we had ordered the same exact meals at a similar establishment. We’ll definitely be ordering again! The service was also excellent, everyone was so helpful, thank youuu! Ramadan Mubarak 🫶🫶🫶

Hands down the best Turkish restaurant in Brooklyn in my opinion. I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed and I understand the restaurant is under new ownership currently and the food was exactly how it always was. The mixed grill is perfect for my low carb diet and I left very satisfied.

The large bar/restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They have a wide variety of menu items including soup, sandwiches, wraps, appetizers and entrees. Drinks include alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. I ordered the Salty Dog cheeseburger that is accompanied with a generous amount of french fries, pickle and cole slaw. Nice place to watch sporting events with large television monitors throughout the bar/restaurant. The bar/restaurant is the former location of the Brooklyn Dodger bar/restaurant.

Overall a great place to stop in for a drink or a bite. The food is above average for bar fare with both typically indulgent options and healthier ones like salads and wraps with a variety of side choices. The salmon wrap was excellent! Very flavorful and not at all dry. service is spectacular and the atmosphere is friendly.

I can’t express how wonderful my dad’s celebration of life went. The Salty Dog exceeded my expectations. The food was amazing - not your average bar food. The staff was courteous, friendly, empathetic, super sweet and attentive. Debbie and the staff made sure I had everything I needed for a beautiful memorial. Everyone kept telling me how everything was wonderful and that my dad would have been so proud. Thank you Salty Dog for helping me host a special event. 💖💖💖

The restaurant is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. The Italian food was average. The pizza was O.K. Hero size is good. I ordered a fish entree with pasta. The fish and pasta came together in one tray with a tomato sauce. I requested garlic and oil but they do not offer this typical option. The pasta amount was basic.

The interior is cozy and inviting, with a warm and friendly staff that made me feel right at home.
I started with the “Soup de Jour". Which was creamy tomato soup that day. It was absolutely delicious and set the tone for the meal.
The "Café Burger" had a dry patty (ordered medium rare, received well done), was generously portioned. The burger was served with delicious fries and onion rings.
To top it all off, the Apple Strudel was like a taste of heaven - light, fluffy, and incredibly delicious!
Overall, a wonderful brunching experience. Highly recommended for a cozy meal with great service!

The restaurant/cafe is located in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. They prepare Greek/American cuisine that is similar to a diner. I ordered the strapatsada which consists of scrambled eggs in a tomato sauce mixed with cheese and topped with olives. This dish comes with a small toasted pita bread but no potatoes. Customers need to pay extra for potatoes. The homemade spinach pie costs more than the regular spinach pie. The vegetable wrap was a nice size with avocado, lettuce and sun-dried tomatoes. The sun-dried tomatoes were difficult to chew. The Cypriot painini consisted basically of ham and cheese. The restaurant/cafe has late hours.

Omonia Cafe in Brooklyn is an absolute treasure for anyone seeking delectable pastries, Greek/American dishes and unique tea blends in a vibrant setting. From the moment you walk in, the café’s beautiful decor and lively, youthful atmosphere immediately set the tone for a memorable visit. Whether you’re on a date, celebrating a special occasion, or simply indulging in a quiet afternoon treat, Omonia offers the perfect backdrop.
The pastries are nothing short of exceptional, showcasing a rich variety that perfectly balances traditional and modern flavors. Each bite is a testament to the café’s dedication to quality and craftsmanship. But what truly stood out to me was their unique tea menu. I tried the Aman tea, a stunning blend with savory spice notes that was both light and deeply satisfying. It felt like a warm, aromatic embrace with every sip.
Omonia’s charm doesn’t end with the food and drinks. The ambiance is trendy yet welcoming, making it ideal for everything from intimate conversations to celebratory gatherings. The combination of great flavors, chic decor, and an upbeat vibe ensures that Omonia Cafe is more than just a café – it’s an experience. I can’t wait to return and try more of their delightful offerings!

We got slices to go but did not sit down to eat. Wished we did because the place is huge. Has a beautiful outdoor space out back that reminds of a vacation affair. It has nice seating inside as well. Somewhat of a romantic place but also family friendly. Pricey but that is expected. The lady at the counter was so nice, gave her suggestions and told us which ones have alcohol since we were obviously Muslim. Appreciated that.

Great experience at Mike’s Royal Diner on 5th Ave, Brooklyn. Had an egg sandwich and friend had an omelet. The servings were generous and delicious. Pricing was on a par with that of NYC diners. It’s a diner, but a cozy diner. My friend and I came here early Saturday morning after our walk. I was hungry which is all the time and my friend said this spot isn’t bad for a diner. She order the egg and pepper jack on a roll and I got the Spanish omelette with home fries. It was cheap and fulfilling. I really enjoyed it for a diner and that’s hard to come by where diners make decent food.
