Omg! the place was so good! It was an accidental find for a traveller like me. I went to Bryant Park to see the Christmas lighting and it started raining and I found solace on this restaurant as it’s bang opposite to the park. It’s gorgeous from inside. We had a crab cake which was delicious and ordered seafood pasta which had clams, scallops and prawns. This one was very good too. And the best part was the dessert- called as chocolate tart but it’s actually a lava cake which was nice crunch on the outside and gooey inside. The ice cream had some crunch too. We ordered one more because it was so good…the restaurant was closing down but still they managed for us. Great service too! Will come back soon!

I strongly believe that Bryant Park Grill is worth visiting primarily for its stunning outdoor seating area. The food, in my opinion, is rather average and nothing to write home about. On the other hand, I must commend the staff for being extremely welcoming and efficient. If you plan to enjoy the outdoor seating during warmer weather, my recommendation is to arrive early for lunch. Personally, I find the food to be quite bland and definitely overpriced. However, if your goal is to savor an appetizer and a drink while taking in the views, then this is the ideal spot for you. If you're solely interested in finding food around Bryant Park, you might want to consider visiting L’Adresse American Bistro or Los Tacos 1 instead.

A Fine Dining Experience at Bryant Grill
Bryant Grill provides a sophisticated dining environment with attentive service. The restaurant offers a classic American menu with well-executed dishes.
The portions are generous, ensuring guests leave satisfied. While the overall experience is enjoyable, the pricing might be considered high for some.
If you're seeking a reliable option for a special occasion or business dinner, Bryant Grill is a solid choice.

This was our third or fourth visit to the Bryant Park Grill, and it certainly won't be our last! We always enjoy our meals here. There is inside, outside, and garden dining. We had a party of 7 and everyone enjoyed their meals. The food is always delicious!! Conveniently located in Bryant Park, it's definitely worth a stop!!!

This place is beautiful. They had a lovely huge Xmas tree up. The tables are set perfectly. The staff are all very friendly.
Our service lady was so lovely and chatty.
Sadly, after placing our order we were forgotten about. Our starter wasn’t delivered for approximately 40mins. Our server did apologise & the starter was removed from our bill. The main was sooo good but it could’ve been a bit hotter. The grilled filet mignon was delicious. It cut like butter. It just needed to be hotter. The sides were hot & tasty.
The dessert, the apple pie one as delicious. The chocolate one was just ok.
Would love to come here again but I’m not sure as I don’t like it when people arrive after me & are fed, watered & leave before me

What an amazing night! I’m big on customer service and I honestly have no complaints. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server Rio was great! He was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. We are definitely visiting again soon!

Went here for a bachelor party with 9 others to celebrate and have a nice steakhouse dinner. The experience started out strong, and our server was very nice and informative. As the night went on the service got worse and worse. They bait you into ordering their still Fiji water bottles and then don’t bother to continue to ask you if you’d like another, instead they keep bringing them to the table, open them, and then charge you. 5 people at our table ordered the seafood and shellfish platter for $56/ person. There wasn’t even enough food on the platter for each person to have one of each of the items. A few other people ordered additional apps that he forgot to put in, so they never got them. Overall food was okay, steak was cooked well and sides were good. But for the prices, we all agreed we had better steak before. As the night went on our server was no where to be found. He offered us espresso on the house and then forgot about it, so we waited 30 minutes. Overall not worth the almost $3k check for this “upscale” steak house. It’s unfortunate, because I will probably avoid this place in other cities now.

Loved the food and the experience. Our server Candice was attentive, accommodating and made the experience memorable. I really enjoyed the Fade to Berry and Unchained Passion cocktail. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were amazing. Thank you Candice for pointing us in the right direction.

Amazing food and atmosphere, crowd is mixed I wouldn’t say the classiest crowd ever but then again a lot of places have mixed crowds. Definitely lots of birthdays going around when I was there. Service is absolutely excellent, met a very nice waiter called Rio who really made my night pleasant and took care of everything since I was dining solo. The beef ribs were absolutely succulent and the oysters were to die for. A bit on the expensive side but definitely worth it. The cocktail that is a signature there and that I adored contains Saint Germain (elderflower liquor) and is at the top of the cocktail list.

STK was an amazing and delightful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was vibrant and chic, making it the perfect setting for my birthday night out.
The cocktail menu was impressive, featuring a variety of unique and classic options. I tried the Award Winning Spiced Watermelon and it was expertly crafted—balanced and flavorful.
Fabio was absolutely wonderful and added a personal touch to our whole experience with his friendly demeanor and recommendations. The service was another highlight of the evening. Our server, Jenn, was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that we had everything we needed!
Overall, STK exceeded my expectations with its fantastic food, creative drinks, and exceptional service. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

Went here with my coworkers to get lunch. This is the second location I've been to and the line is a bit long during lunchtime but goes by quickly. Their green sauce is really good and def recommend getting a platter. The shredded beef was tender and was flavorful. The empanada esp the beef one hits every single time!

Excellent Cuban food! I loved the meat and the plantains in particular. I wish there was more seating for lunch, but it's still worth bringing back to your home or office.
Michael Pulis - 3 months ago
As a reviewer, I always hope for a great meal, especially at a place like Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine in Midtown West, but this time, it just didn’t hit the mark. The food, unfortunately, lacked the vibrant Latin flavors that are supposed to be the hallmark of Cuban cuisine, leaving much to be desired.
I ordered the Chicken Platter, expecting a flavorful and satisfying meal. Instead, the chicken was undercooked and lacked the seasoning that would normally bring it to life. It was a real letdown, especially considering the potential of this dish. The sides were just as uninspiring, failing to deliver the bold, comforting flavors you’d expect from a Cuban restaurant.
The only bright spot in my meal was the can of Coke that I had with it. It’s disappointing when the best part of your dining experience is something as simple as a soft drink, but that’s how it went.
While the service was friendly and the atmosphere decent, the food itself fell flat. I hope Sophie’s can bring back the authentic, rich flavors that make Cuban cuisine so special, but based on this experience, it’s hard to recommend this location.

I have been going to Sophie’s for years and the food never disappoints!! I got the shredded beef stew this time and it was just as good as always, especially with the green sauce, which is a little bit spicy (not too hot though). I will definitely come again.

They are the best location for a birthday 🥳 or special occasion. they were so understanding yesterday of the size of the group and tried to accommodate as much for us (we called weeks in advance and were super flexible), the food was incredible, everybody loved it. The vibes are right. Would recommend! Katherine helped a lot to make this possible , I can’t remember the name of the server but it was a tall male (10/12/24 7:30 pm) amazingly good service overall. Northern lights sushi was a delight. A friend ordered the lambs and fell in love with it and the pure. The vegan friends in the group also enjoyed tons with the tofu/sushi. And of course we tried the skirt steak 111/10 😻 . Appreciate it tons.

High end is no joke here. The staff was amazingly attentive and also very careful about any potential food allergies. Our table started wobbling and before we could look for someone to help, someone was already there fixing it (and fixed it quickly and well). The food was very good. The creamy shrimp tempura was not at all what I’m used to for shrimp tempura (no crunchy exterior), but it was delicious (and contrary to the supposedly spicy sauce, fortunately not spicy at all). This was a very nice experience and I wish I had been hungrier as there are many intriguing items on the menu. I look forward to trying them another time.

Celebrated a friends birthday here and this place was so amazing. The drinks were amazing! The steak was delicious! cooked absolutely perfectly. The sides were all delicious we all shared within the table. The atmosphere was really amazing. We had to wait a little bit to be seated and toward the end almost felt a little rushed which is why I give this place a 4/5 stars. Still would recommend.

Probably the best meal that I can ever remember eating. My wife and I arrived just before 5 P.M. on a Saturday which was perfect timing because the restaurant quickly filled after we sat. We got the best table in the house. It's on the second floor, in the center, overlooking the rest of the restaurant. Service was impeccable. We started with an espressotini and Manhattan. Later, we shared a crab cake for our appetizer. It was light, flaky, and delicious. Our main course was the 8 oz. filet mignon with truffle sauce. I couldn't stop smiling the entire time I was eating. We will come to eat at Morton's every time we visit NYC. Thanks for the experience!

1- Food = 4.5 /5. Very good. Prime Ocean Platter and Bacon were both well prepared and of good quality. Dry Aged Porterhouse which was on the special menu was definitely prime steak but lacked the dry aged flavor that I’m accustomed too. Steak was still very good and I’d order it again. All 3 sides were tasty and sharable. Martinis 🍸 were good. Almost forgot about the very good fresh bread and soft butter they serve while you wait for your food.😋😋.
2- Service = 5/5. Excellent cerebrating our anniversary we were greeted with happy anniversary as soon as we checked in. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, but not pushy and always smiling. 😊. Thanks Sara. They actually took an amazing Photo of myself and my wife in which they handed to us in a happy anniversary card which we both loved and appreciated.
3- Ambiance = 5/5. Excellent. Classy modern design.
4- Reservations = 5/5 Excellent. Booked with OpenTable the day of.
5- Value = 5/5. Food was excellent as expected given this is a high end Steakhouse, but the service and the staff were extra special. We would definitely recommend and will 100% return.

I felt the need to share the excellence of Morton’s Steakhouse. Matt, our server was invaluable— his professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were beyond expectation.
The food was a journey of on its own as my eyes almost popped out as I embraced the notes and layers of flavors that danced in synchronous notes like a performance at an orchestra!
I will definitely love to visit again! I had the scallops wrapped in bacon and the dry-aged steak for main course.

Their breakfast buffet is top-notch, and the wait is quick! This place runs like a well-oiled machine, thanks to the super-efficient staff. You can be in and out in under five minutes—perfect for busy mornings!
Lunch can get a bit hectic with the crowds, but the staff’s impressive speed keeps your wait time to pay under five minutes. It’s a lively atmosphere, and you’ll be ready to tackle your day in no time!
One suggestion: it would be even better if they offered sriracha sauce to spice things up!
However, a minor criticism is the pricing; for instance, a small box of sushi costs $7.50 but has jumped to $9. A little adjustment there would make the experience even better!

Lovely place for breakfast in Madison Avenue! Their coffee is super delicious and always freshly brewed! I love the hazelnut coffee ☕️ as it always has amazing after taste. The place is great for families with children as there’re many options for different breakfast preferences!
There is a station for freshly made sandwiches where you can get egg sandwiches
A station for prepared hot food, fruits, vegetables, oatmeal and a juicing bar. If you are there don’t miss trying their peanut butter wraps!

This is one of those food hall kinds of places with lots of variety inside, built to deliver fast food for the people working in the area. They have pre-made, prepackaged, and also assembly food.
The prepackaged food has some options that are more perishable than others. For example, the mochi I got was already moldy when I opened it.
Pre-made hot food has a good selection, same as cold food. You can find steak, chicken, noodles, and lots of mixes. However, if you come at an off time, the food will have been sitting there and getting overcooked on the hot plate.
Assembly food includes stations at the back of the store has options like udon noodle soup, fried rice, and the like. You pick proteins and vegetables to go with a generic base. It's inoffensive, ultimately just fills you up, but is nothing super amazing.
Overall, this is a lunch staple spot for some people, but I would prefer to spend my lunch hour somewhere else.

While the food is indeed fresh, the prices are atrocious. Especially if you do order on app delivery services.
A plain turkey sandwhich, literally not even mayo or cheese. Close to $8. I understand rent needs to be made. But an extra couple ingredients goes a long way.

Szechuan Gourmet is a long-standing Sichuan restaurant, and its decor and atmosphere reflect its storied history. Initially, I was concerned it might lean towards Americanized “Sichuan” cuisine, but after tasting the food, I was pleasantly surprised by its authenticity.
The presentation of each dish is thoughtful, showing the restaurant’s effort to stay visually appealing and up-to-date. The cold appetizer, Garden Diced Chicken in Spicy Sauce, features tender chicken immersed in rich red oil that enhances the flavor without being overly spicy. However, the chicken itself was a bit loose in texture and could have been firmer. The Beef with Silky Tofu is a bold, spicy hot dish, perfect for pairing with rice. Although the flavors are spot on, the beef itself was rather ordinary.
The Trotter Soup, unfortunately, didn’t impress me. The broth lacked depth and authenticity, missing the herbal notes typically associated with traditional Sichuan soups, and the dipping sauce was just basic doubanjiang, adding little to the experience.
The biggest highlight was the Roasted Chili Spiced Broth (Mao Xue Wang). This dish stood out due to its impressive variety of ingredients—fish, pork intestine, luncheon meat, beef tripe, and vegetables—all served in a beautifully designed vessel. The sheer diversity of ingredients makes it one of the most abundant versions of Mao Xue Wang I’ve had, and I highly recommend it.
Overall, while Szechuan Gourmet has some areas for improvement—such as a more coordinated serving order and slightly higher-quality meats—the flavors are genuine. For a restaurant with such a long history, it’s commendable that they’ve maintained a level of authenticity in their Sichuan dishes. A satisfying experience overall.

We really enjoyed this Chinese restaurant. We were 7 and they accommodated us without any problems. Food was delicious. Service very good as well. A very complete menu, with lots of different plates to choose from. If you are not a fan of spicy food, just make sure you order mild, since Szechuan food is known for its spiciness.

I love diners. I don't go to NYC to eat at chain fast food, so other than the many pizza slice places (most standing room only), I consider the diners in the city to be some of the best bargains around as it includes table service and a seat and generally reliable food at a moderate price. From the outside, this doesn't have any diner vibes at all but the inside was a little better (although pretty empty overall). We hit this place at 6PM on a Friday night and immediately got a nice quiet window booth. Service was not particularly friendly but it was prompt and they checked in often and kept our glasses full. The food was reasonably priced and average quality diner food. I got a $23 omelet special which include home fries, toast, and bottomless coffee and was definitely stuffed. We were quickly (under an hour) served a full meal in the nice air conditioning for around $25 right in the heart of NYC.....I don't know I would walk many many blocks to come to this particular dine, but if you are in the area, no complaints here.

We just arrived in NYC and were absolutely famished! This hidden gem truly hit the spot. The turkey clubhouse sandwich was delicious, and I would say the best I have ever had! My sons thoroughly enjoyed their burgers and my husband loved his Greek salad. The service was wonderful. We will definitely return on future visits to NYC (maybe even again this visit...)!

I like diners a lot. I'm happy to have a city full of them. Red Flame is average in a good way; you want a regular diner, no frills, not expensive with good diner food, go here. Oh, Their pastrami sandwich is pretty good. It's $12, small, but if I'm starving I get two (or the cornbeef) and double them up . Oink 🐷. Service is always friendly and staff seems jovial.

The engagement dinner was great. We were squished in a tiny room all the way in the back that was more suitable for 10-15 guests versus 21. The service staff were attentive and listened to guest’s requests. They were out of lobster pasta and that was announced early on. Everyone was more than pleased with their entrees. The zucchini chips were amazing! All the bread served dinner was warm and fresh. No one complained about their Salmon, Sea Bass, chicken, or pasta dishes. The portions were fair sized and filling. The cocktails were exquisite! I’d revisit them again. Parking is complicated and that’s normal for TSQ. Try the desert sampler. We were pleasantly surprised but some of the options.

It's a nice small restaurant not far from the hotel we stayed it. We were looking for a good sea food place and found this. I was glad that at this place, they also were offering fish that's fresh caught. We have ordered several appetizers and several hot dishes. We left from there full and satisfied. We liked all the fishes except the salmon felt a little dry. Service in general was good, but our hot meals got delivered a bit too late. Those are minor things, and I won't reduce my rating because of it, because overall, we were happy with everything.

My husband and I had the most incredible dining experience at Kellari Taverna in New York today. From the moment we walked in, George, the host, and Silvia, our server, made us feel like VIPs. Their exceptional hospitality truly enhanced our meal.
We started with delightful appetizers that set the tone for the evening. For the main course, I enjoyed a delicious lobster and linguine dish, while my husband savored a perfectly cooked scallop and linguine dish. Both were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor.
The meal concluded with the most amazing desserts (see photos). Each bite was a perfect end to a memorable dining experience.
Thank you, George and Silvia, for making our visit special. We will definitely be back!

The hostess was so elegant and stylish, and really set the bar very high for the whole experience. Nattily-dressed waiters, attentive service (our glass was never empty,) delicious fresh and tender food, great flavors, beautiful table settings and bold decor.
