The salmon was so good I cried tears of joy. I had a reservation for Christmas lunch and the "herb crusted king salmon on
creamy black ink risotto with cauliflower etc." was the best salmon I have ever tasted. The fried seafood scatter and apple pie were nice. The price of the food is justified because it's almost a one-to-one ratio between servers & tables inside. The Christmas atmosphere was unforgettable. All staff were personable and professional, all diners around me were clearly having a great time: Bryant Park & Grill is highly recommended.

Omg! the place was so good! It was an accidental find for a traveller like me. I went to Bryant Park to see the Christmas lighting and it started raining and I found solace on this restaurant as it’s bang opposite to the park. It’s gorgeous from inside. We had a crab cake which was delicious and ordered seafood pasta which had clams, scallops and prawns. This one was very good too. And the best part was the dessert- called as chocolate tart but it’s actually a lava cake which was nice crunch on the outside and gooey inside. The ice cream had some crunch too. We ordered one more because it was so good…the restaurant was closing down but still they managed for us. Great service too! Will come back soon!

After visiting the ice skating rink at Bryant Park ,my family and I decided to have lunch here after we stumbled upon this spot.
Thankfully they had an open spot for four!
I was very especially impressed with how fast our food came!
The food was delicious, the service was really great and the decor of the place was just gorgeous - it was beautifully decorated for the Christmas season.
Definitely a must visit.

If it weren't for Stephanie I would've left. Her energy is everything the icing on the cake that starts from the first impression . She gave us the best seats in the house despite being brushed off by the inside hostesses for not having a reservation and made us feel welcome. It's the holiday season greetings really do set the tone😁
Beyond that our appetizers and lunch entrees were delicious. Can't wait to try the shrimp Cobb next time and those orange drinks w the flowered I saw the ladies having.

I strongly believe that Bryant Park Grill is worth visiting primarily for its stunning outdoor seating area. The food, in my opinion, is rather average and nothing to write home about. On the other hand, I must commend the staff for being extremely welcoming and efficient. If you plan to enjoy the outdoor seating during warmer weather, my recommendation is to arrive early for lunch. Personally, I find the food to be quite bland and definitely overpriced. However, if your goal is to savor an appetizer and a drink while taking in the views, then this is the ideal spot for you. If you're solely interested in finding food around Bryant Park, you might want to consider visiting L’Adresse American Bistro or Los Tacos 1 instead.

I wanted to take my mom somewhere special for her birthday, so I made a reservation at a restaurant with great reviews. The atmosphere was incredible, and the servers were so friendly. They even brought out a cake and sang for her at the end—absolutely perfect! It was an unforgettable experience. The prices are on the higher side, but the meal was worth every penny. Personally, the oysters were my absolute favorite!😍

Customer service is great! Some waiters are a little rude though. Ambiance is very beautiful. They had a Live DJ as well nice vibe. The cocktail were crafted well! Food was pretty mid for the price and for it to be a steakhouse not what I wasn’t expecting. I would come back but for the drinks and the atmosphere

My daughter made reservations for three of us on the recommendation of a friend. We were seeing & Juliet nearby and I was a bit anxious, having read some of the recent reviews. Let me preference by noting that I do not give high scores easily. However, every single Experience of our dinner was a 10 out of 10. Our waiter Sudip Asked us whether we were seeing a show and kept tabs on the time. He was very attentive, but not too attentive if you know what I mean. A true professional in every sense Our meals, the atmosphere and the service were exceptional. I will absolutely return and highly recommend my friends eat here as well.

Wanted a nice fancy meal before a Broadway show and found lambs club. The service was fantastic, as well as the drinks. The food was tasty but not amazing and for the price a bit disappointing. The steak was good but the sauce lacked, and the potato was quite small, being smaller than the onion! The desert was quite in my taste with a berry jelly.

This is a very nice upscale restaurant on Times Square. I had a girls dinner with my friend. We had a really nice warm welcome and pleasant experience. The staff made sure we are comfortable and attentive. They came to greet us by our name to ensure our services are taken care. Indeed, knowledgeable and would recommend us options that cater to our taste buds. Every staff were highly professional. We will definitely come back again and let people know that the food are amazing as well!

They are the best location for a birthday 🥳 or special occasion. they were so understanding yesterday of the size of the group and tried to accommodate as much for us (we called weeks in advance and were super flexible), the food was incredible, everybody loved it. The vibes are right. Would recommend! Katherine helped a lot to make this possible , I can’t remember the name of the server but it was a tall male (10/12/24 7:30 pm) amazingly good service overall. Northern lights sushi was a delight. A friend ordered the lambs and fell in love with it and the pure. The vegan friends in the group also enjoyed tons with the tofu/sushi. And of course we tried the skirt steak 111/10 😻 . Appreciate it tons.

Very popular for business dinners and date nights. Excellent roll selection. Good choices of Japanese beers, sakes, and mixed drinks. Waitstaff is very helpful. At a business dinner, we had the staff bring recommendations after we explained our preferences, and the overall meal was terrific. The double tuna roll was a favorite. The mochi was okay, a bit to hard and dry inside but still fun as it was cut for the table to enjoy.

Food was great—sushi & entrees were delicious. For starters and shared plates, we ordered the Kobe Style Potstickers, all flavors of the Koi Crispy Rice, and Salmon Carpaccio. Lobster tacos were good, but didn’t stand out to me. For entrees, we ordered the Roasted Duck Breast, Miso Bronzed Black Cod, and and Grilled Lamb Chops. All tasted great, but I think my favorite was the duck breast. Our server was great, he kindly asked if we wanted them to cut up the lamb for us & they did a fantastic job cutting it into pieces so the whole table was able to easily share it. For sushi, we ordered the signature Northern Lights Roll, Double Tuna Roll, Hamachi Yuzu, and classic roll I forgot the name of. My favorite was the hamachi yuzu roll! It was a Thursday night so it was super packed and pretty hectic. I also wished we had gotten a bigger table for 6 people because I felt squished in a small booth table.

High end is no joke here. The staff was amazingly attentive and also very careful about any potential food allergies. Our table started wobbling and before we could look for someone to help, someone was already there fixing it (and fixed it quickly and well). The food was very good. The creamy shrimp tempura was not at all what I’m used to for shrimp tempura (no crunchy exterior), but it was delicious (and contrary to the supposedly spicy sauce, fortunately not spicy at all). This was a very nice experience and I wish I had been hungrier as there are many intriguing items on the menu. I look forward to trying them another time.

Recommended by a colleague, Koi did not disappoint. I dined with a group of friends and shared a couple of appetizers and rolls. Our waitress' recommendations were spot on. To start, she recommended the Koi Crispy Rice and the Edamame Dumplings. The Koi Crispy Rice is one of their most popular dishes, prepared with spicy tuna on a crispy rice base. It was outstanding. We also ordered the Grilled Skirt Steak, the Northern Lights roll, the Hamachi Yuzu Rolls, and the sweet chili shrimp roll. The Hamachi Yuzu was a standout roll, the tuna just melts in your mouth.
The service was outstanding, our waitress was highly attentive but not overbearing. The waitstaff kept the table clean and bussed. The ambiance was warm an enjoyable too. Definitely high on my list to revisit the next time I'm in Manhattan.

Favorite Chinese restaurant by far!! My Chinese friend brought me here for the first time because of its authentic Chinese cuisine. It’s not Americanized if you will. Simple decor, very attentive service and delicious, wide selection menu. While my company enjoyed many meat dishes, I am vegetarian and had plenty of options to select from as well. Definitely recommend. Restaurant has multiple floors, nice bar and clean bathroom.

Delightful Lunch Experience.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cafe China. And thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The overall experience was outstanding, thanks to the delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and attentive service.
Our bartender, Edward, provided exceptional care, ensuring our lunch at the bar counter was memorable.
The menu offerings did not disappoint. Standouts included the savory Ma po tofu, flavorful purple and white rice, perfectly cooked string beans, and tender shredded chicken with yellow chives.
The spicy cucumber appetizer, however, fell short of expectations. Instead of the anticipated spicy kick and perfect marinade balance, it consisted of fresh cucumbers topped with a few red peppers, lacking flavor and seasoning.
Despite this minor misstep, I highly recommend this place.
Reservations are essential, as wait times can reach 40-60 minutes. Our bill totaled $112 for two people, including six dishes and hot jasmine tea – a reasonable price for the quality and quantity.
Kudos to the team for the elegant business card design, reflecting the restaurant's attention to detail.
Our rating - 4.5/5.
Thank you and good luck.

While the food was excellent the service was basically nonexistent. In fact while we were still eating the server came by and took our water carafe and never replaced it nor asked if we wanted an additional sake.
Definitely suggest walking down a few blocks to the East and going to Chili as overall it is a much better meal especially the service.

We were allured by the “only Michelin star Chinese restaurant in NYC”. Not sure how that’s possible to be honest. Had high expectations but both food and service spotty. Vintage = run down both inside and out. Soup dumplings and Kung Pao chicken were 5 stars but the other food 3. Beef and shrimp fried rice was bland and soulless. Service was polite but not that attentive we had to wave down waiter for every item.

Food is authentic Szechuan, but it's been adjusted to suit a wider audience. Spice levels have been adjusted on certain dishes, and other items have a touch of sweetness. Still a faithful representation and certainly excellent food. Would not hesitate to visit again.

I got the spicy beef noodle soup and the dumplings in chili oil. I thought the soup was decent. I would have preferred it spicer and there wasn't a ton of beef in it. The broth wasn't super rich, but still had decent flavors. One of my favorite things about the soup were the pickled(?) bamboo shoots. It was actually probably my favorite thing in the soup! The dumplings were really good! The chili oil was another star of the meal and I ended up added some into my soup for more spice and flavor.

Szechuan Gourmet is a long-standing Sichuan restaurant, and its decor and atmosphere reflect its storied history. Initially, I was concerned it might lean towards Americanized “Sichuan” cuisine, but after tasting the food, I was pleasantly surprised by its authenticity.
The presentation of each dish is thoughtful, showing the restaurant’s effort to stay visually appealing and up-to-date. The cold appetizer, Garden Diced Chicken in Spicy Sauce, features tender chicken immersed in rich red oil that enhances the flavor without being overly spicy. However, the chicken itself was a bit loose in texture and could have been firmer. The Beef with Silky Tofu is a bold, spicy hot dish, perfect for pairing with rice. Although the flavors are spot on, the beef itself was rather ordinary.
The Trotter Soup, unfortunately, didn’t impress me. The broth lacked depth and authenticity, missing the herbal notes typically associated with traditional Sichuan soups, and the dipping sauce was just basic doubanjiang, adding little to the experience.
The biggest highlight was the Roasted Chili Spiced Broth (Mao Xue Wang). This dish stood out due to its impressive variety of ingredients—fish, pork intestine, luncheon meat, beef tripe, and vegetables—all served in a beautifully designed vessel. The sheer diversity of ingredients makes it one of the most abundant versions of Mao Xue Wang I’ve had, and I highly recommend it.
Overall, while Szechuan Gourmet has some areas for improvement—such as a more coordinated serving order and slightly higher-quality meats—the flavors are genuine. For a restaurant with such a long history, it’s commendable that they’ve maintained a level of authenticity in their Sichuan dishes. A satisfying experience overall.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Seafood and Atmosphere!
My friend and I visited the Red Lobster at Times Square while on a trip from Montreal, and it was amazing! The location is perfect, right in the heart of NYC, which gave us an exciting vibe as soon as we walked in. The seafood was fresh and delicious—especially the lobster and shrimp dishes!
Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits were a highlight, and we kept asking for more. It was a fun and memorable experience, and we both felt it was the perfect spot for a seafood feast while exploring the city.
Highly recommend for anyone visiting Times Square who wants great seafood and a lively atmosphere

I’d been to Red Lobster many times in Florida, Colorado, and recently at Time Square, NYC. Everything here was yummy as always. My favorites are the bacon wrapped sea scallops and of course “the garlic butter lobster”. Will visit again whenever I crave for good seafood.

The food is really really good. The lobster linguini is also so delicious but costs 30$. The service was also somewhat questionable, since there were 3 floors in this restaurant, our waters did not get refilled once. Most likely have to request for refill. they did give free scones at the start of the meal though, and we were seated as soon as we got there which was very helpful.

We experienced a great meal with tasty lobster with nice staff. No rush with a bill on the table directly after you swallowed your last bite of food. Food was great and the drinks were very nice. My hands were very sticky so I asked if I could use the shower to clean myself, staff have never heard this before and laughed out loud. I can recommend this restaurant if you visit New York!

I can’t stress enough how incredible this food is—you have to experience it firsthand. You won’t regret it! The rolls are small but packed with hearty, flavorful fillings and wrapped in a perfectly cooked paratha. I had the Chicken Tikka Roll (9/10), Aloo Masala Roll (8/10), and Shami Kabob Roll (9.5/10), all of which were delicious, though a yogurt sauce would have been perfect to balance the spiciness. Come for lunch—it’s very busy, but the line moves quickly. There isn’t much seating as most people are picking up, but the outstanding food and efficient service make it absolutely worth visiting!

Kati Roll place on 39th Street, right next to a Sichuan spot we often go to, might seem hidden but the long line says otherwise. My Indian friend introduced me to it two years ago, praising its authenticity. It truly feels genuine—you know it’s the real deal when you’re the only foreigners in the crowd!
The cooks whip up rolls in an open kitchen that’s super clean, and you can watch everything they do. We tried the unda paneer roll and the shami kebab roll, along with mango lassi and masala chai. The unda paneer was a bit of a miss for us, maybe we’re just not used to the authentic flavors yet, but the shami kebab was tasty. My son absolutely loved the lassi, and I enjoyed the chai of the right level of tea and milk flavor.

A really good place to grab some handheld lunch in midtown. The overall shop is a bit small and can get hot in the summer, but it usually smells amazing with the authentic spices that they use on all their rolls. It can be a bit pricy, but the rolls are very filling even without meat. They also serve their own Chips and drinks like lassi. Due to the bulk of their orders, please do have some patience when it is lunch rush.

Let me start by saying that the food was pretty good and flavourful but the service on the other hand was really bad. One of the server was obviously drunk and wasn’t paying attention to the customer. Took him more than 10 mins to take our empty plate. At the end we ask for the bill and after 15 mins we still haven’t received our bill another server had to give it to us cause the first one obviously forgot and was to busy talking and taking shot with his friends.

The Red Flame Diner serves great breakfasts, are super-fast and clean. It can also be an expensive breakfast. Don’t be surprised at breakfast for 2 at $48 (French toast and 1 egg with bacon) and then the taxes and mandatory tip take you to $60. So look at the specials and be careful or ordering a la carte. Nice having a coat rack to use as some of the booths are small.

We just arrived in NYC and were absolutely famished! This hidden gem truly hit the spot. The turkey clubhouse sandwich was delicious, and I would say the best I have ever had! I love diners. I don't go to NYC to eat at chain fast food, so other than the many pizza slice places (most standing room only), I consider the diners in the city to be some of the best bargains around as it includes table service and a seat and generally reliable food at a moderate price. From the outside, this doesn't have any diner vibes at all but the inside was a little better (although pretty empty overall). We hit this place at 6PM on a Friday night and immediately got a nice quiet window booth. Service was not particularly friendly but it was prompt and they checked in often and kept our glasses full. The food was reasonably priced and average quality diner food. I got a $23 omelet special which include home fries, toast, and bottomless coffee and was definitely stuffed. We were quickly (under an hour) served a full meal in the nice air conditioning for around $25 right in the heart of NYC.....I don't know I would walk many many blocks to come to this particular dine, but if you are in the area, no complaints here.
