3 Star Rating Not as good as it used to be. This is the only Shake Shack location that serves Shack a Go Dog and it definitely was not the Shack a Go Dog I’ve eaten back in 2008. They just dumped a quarter cup of regular dill pickle relish instead of sweet pickle relish like they used to appropriately have. Just as the previous review had stated- the standards really went out the window compared to how they have operated at this location before.

3 Star Rating Came back to the original shop to reminisce the good old original shack burger. Don’t think it’s as good as I remembered it. A little sad that standards have gone down hill. Shakes and fries are still fine. Portobello burger not bad. Line moves quickly at noon. Getting a seat in the park a little challenge as there are the office lunch crowds. Wish there is more segregation of Shake Shack’s patrons for the price we pay. The Madison square park is an experience on its own. Nice to come on a sunny cool day.

5 Star Rating If you're hunting for the best burger in town, look no further than Gramercy Tavern. This beloved establishment has earned its reputation not just for its standout burger, which is undoubtedly the highlight of the menu, but also for an array of other equally noteworthy dishes. For instance, the beets with burrata are a symphony of flavors and textures, beautifully balancing sweetness and creaminess. At the same time, the grilled eggplant offers a smoky richness that perfectly complements the other offerings. During my visit, I was particularly impressed by the burger. It was perfectly cooked, and each bite melted in my mouth, delivering an unforgettable gastronomic experience. I also appreciated the attention to dietary restrictions; as someone sensitive to eggs, I was relieved when our server, Angel, took the time to ensure my meal could be customized to accommodate my allergy. Her attentiveness and cheerful demeanor truly enhanced our dining experience. The ambiance of Gramercy Tavern is warm and inviting, yet it feels cozy due to its intimate size. Because of this, I highly recommend making a reservation right when the restaurant opens to secure a spot in the tavern area, as this is where the casual yet vibrant atmosphere thrives. Just be sure to specify that you prefer the tavern seating over the more formal dining room. To cap off your culinary journey at Gramercy Tavern, don't miss out on the dessert offerings—specifically, the cookie paired with their exquisite sorbet selection. It's the perfect way to end a memorable meal, leaving you satisfied and eager to return.

5 Star Rating We have been at Gramercy Tavern several times, both the Tavern and the Dining Room, and both are consistently great. The food is always delicious and well-cooked, though once they didn’t ask how we wanted the beef, and it came out well-done instead of rare. That said, their service has always been top-notch—thoughtful, accommodating, and even considerate of our anniversary. They handle delays gracefully, offering drinks while we waited. Overall, it’s a spot we happily return to every time we visit NYC!

5 Star Rating Looking for the experience of a lifetime? This place isn’t just amazing food, it’s a full dining experience. The wine pairings are perfect, and explained in detail by the sommelier and waitstaff. The food is perfectly portioned and flavours and textures balanced. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable, but upscale. The service? Perfectly choreographed, tuned in, and made to fit the vibe of your group. We had an incredible evening here and would recommend this spot to anyone looking for an unforgettable evening - whether it be date night, a celebration, or just looking for something special! 5 Star Rating Just about the best restaurant experience I have ever had. I have been to a couple Michelin starred restaurants, however Eleven Madison Park takes the cake! It’s an all vegan Menu and every dish is an experience of its own. My personal favorite was actually the tomato tea with fresh local tomato’s in a type of savory cookie. It was a way of consuming and experiencing the aroma of a tomato I had never had before and absolutely blew my mind. So simple yet so unique and absolutely incredible flavors. The service was perfect. They were very friendly, inviting and relaxed while retaining utmost professionalism with an astonishing attention to detail. All in all, a flawless dining experience, I’d come back in a heartbeat.

5 Star Rating Eleven Madison Park impressed us with its elegant, modern design and impeccable service. As one of the best restaurants in the world, each dish was presented beautifully and tasted incredible. The attention to detail in both flavor and presentation was unmatched. Fun fact: the restaurant holds three Michelin stars and recently switched to a plant-based menu. Another fact: it’s known for its sustainable dining approach. The only downside? It’s a splurge, but the experience, from the food to the atmosphere, made it absolutely unforgettable.

The food is elegant and carefully prepared to take your taste buds on an adventure of a lifetime. This is the first Michelin star restaurant we've ever been to, and it really set a standard for fine dining. We didn't know what to expect with a vegan restaurant, and we proudly say we'll come back again and again. Outrageously attentive service and everything feels so special. A real treat!

5 Star Rating We were absolutely stunned by the work done in this place, the service was on point, always here to keep everything clean on the table and prepare for next service, keeping the water and drinks always fresh. The ambiance was very New York, jazz music, dimmed lights, cool vibe. And the food was just a delight. We chose the 5 courses dinner and wine pairing, the wine was gorgeous, well chosen, always matched the taste of every course. We were very surprised by how much food we had, and felt like we ate for hours, which we did! Portions were perfect, the presentation was beautiful and not too over the top. The taste was on the salty side but never overpowering the taste of the different flavors in each dish. An experience we would 100% recommend and do again in our lifetime!

5 Star Rating One of the best dining experiences I’ve had from start to finish. Unreasonable Hospitality was one of our office book club reads this year and when a work trip got me to NYC I knew we had to visit. We sat in the lounge for cocktails and small bites from the a la carte menu and from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left I was blown away by the service. Every single person we interacted with was attentive, welcoming and went above and beyond. The menu is fully plant based and everything we ate was phenomenal. The drinks are creative and unique with a lot of flavor and the extra touches like the desert pretzel and take home granola really make the experience unique.

The coffee was pretty average coffee pot fare. The service was good as expected from an upscale establishment. 4 Star Rating Union Square Cafe offers an enjoyable dining experience with attentive service that ensures you feel taken care of throughout your meal. We ordered a variety of dishes which were well executed, including the flavorful lamb scottadito with whipped feta which gave the lamb a nice tang, perfectly cooked tilefish with mussels, juicy and crispy 1/2 chicken, and tender duck with toasted hazelnuts. While the food is generally very good, the special of tater tots with caviar fell short of expectations and aren’t worth the splurge. Apple cake dessert was ok. However, overall Union Square Cafe remains a solid choice for an enjoyable meal.

4 Star Rating Very nice Italian pasta restaurant (by Tom Coliccio from Food Network's Top Chef) with a relaxing & inviting setting in the flatiron district. We tried two appetizers and three pasta selections (there's only a few vegetarian options so we replaced sausage for anchovies in one dish), and all were good. Would not recommend the wine & pasta special as the house wines weren't up to the quality of the pasta. Service was very good.

5 Star Rating We had a wonderful experience at Vallata on Saturday night, celebrating some personal successes among our group. We arrived about 30 mins early to have a drink at the bar, but opted to be seated and begin our evening a table directly in front of the open kitchen- perfect for our night (thank you to the hostess). By the time me and and my wife received our first round of Forst Italian Pilsner and a rosé for her, we had met three members of the staff (Christian got us started with amazing service) and we recognized that this restaurant had, quite possibly, the best music mix of any location we had dined and recently. Our friends arrived and drinks kept coming. We coursed our own meal out, which was so nice to be allowed to do so. We started with Whipped Ricotta and Arancini, both were our favorites of the evening. Arancini was better than what we had in Rome, while admittedly a different style. Our guests shared a cacio e pepe for a main, while I ordered the Paccheri with Fennel Sausage and Broccoli Rabe. Mine was was slightly undercooked below al dente, too chewy, but delicious flavor. My wife’s delicious steak arrived about 6 minutes after our pastas arrived, which was slightly disappointing, as we all chose to wait. En lieu of ordering dessert I explored down the beer list further, ordering the Baladine and Del Ducato IPAs. I love the Italian beer portfolio from B United but have found the hops offered on draft to move beyond earthy into oxidized and sherry like. This isn’t unique to this location. The “American Style IPA” tasted great, as the alcohol content masks the slightly sweet hop atrophy. All in all, an incredible and wonderfully hospitable time at Vallata and we can’t wait to return… and try some dessert next time.

3 Star Rating Was really looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately, it just did not deliver like we had hoped. On a positive note, the service was amazing. Our waiter, Austin, was top-notch. Very friendly and amazingly attentive. The food is served family style, so we all got to try several different things. We had the Risotto and Octopus for starters. Both were decent but not overwhelmingly flavorful. For the main course, we had the Rohan Duck and the strip steak. Very disappointing. Really lacked flavor and was in desperate need of something. Perhaps a little bit of salt. Steak was also very tough. Sauces that came with it were also not very flavorful. We had the gold rice and potato puree for the sides. Potato puree was probably my favorite thing I ate. We had the chocolate souffle for dessert. Honestly, I just tasted like a brownie that I could make at home. Overall, for the amount of money you spend to eat there, just underwhelming and not what we were hoping for.

5 Star Rating Wandered in looking for a bite to eat before heading to a magic show at Fotografiska. Stand out French fries (and I’ve had many in nyc) and an excellent flatbread. WS very impressed. Beautiful spot!

5 Star Rating Just happened to pass this place and decided to give it a go. Very pleased. Had the strawberry salad and then the half chicken; both outstanding!!! I had some time to kill and had wanted to eat before an event. They were not open just yet but seeing me outside perusing the menu, let me in and we’re gracious with wine and water while they finished setting up. Good looking place with atmosphere and the food was delicious. Rob

3 Star Rating Decent restaurant close to Flatiron. Ordered the fried chicken sandwich and the omelette. The omelette was decent. The fried chicken sandwich was not good might have been better off going to Chick Fil A. The aperol spritz was as expected. The OJ served was quite watery

4 Star Rating Harding’s is a spirited pub that serves some very decent food. The inside design creates has a great classic bar feel and there is outside dining. I was impressed with the quality of the food and ordered the beef short rib. It was tender as you would expect and service was efficient. Servers paired the short rib well with a class of cabernet. Rather than my preferred one large ice cube the old fashion had smaller cubes of ice, but still balanced old fashion flavor.
