The food is very flavorful and the place is always clean ... I've never seen it dirty so I trust the kitchen. Portion wise I'll give it an 8 out of 10... you get bigger portions for dine.
The ginger beer is very tasty made w/ clove , ginger , lemon , hot pepper and vanilla... a must try 👌

The food was amazing! The sauces were so flavorful and the meat was tender. The best part, though, was that I got to try samples of everything! The people behind the counter were really welcoming and excited to share their food. Truly wonderful service.

As soon as you walk in you can smell the pungent aroma of the food. The staff are friendly, engaging, and accommodating. The food is flavor packed, I order okra with chicken stew and fufu, while my girlfriend ordered jollof rice, chicken stew, and spinach. Did I mentioned this was her first time?!

I love love love them and their food is great. I had waakye and jollof. Ordered Banku and peanut soup. It was affordable and sweet. Goat was a lil dry and I think the stew was a little salty but it was good honestly. I got one for a friend and she liked it!

Great restaurant and such a warm welcome from the staff and owner who let us try samples of their different stews/soups and rice. Make sure you let them know about any allergies. The plantains were outstanding, sp was the waakye (rice and beans). A little spicy but delicious. Great for takeout, or casual dine in with friends. Very affordable and flavorful. Don’t be intimating if you don’t know what something is, you can just ask or try it! What made it extra was definitely how friendly and nice the owner was. Great address and authentic Ghanaian food.

Nice 'fast' food but with lots of healthy options and lots of variety. It was fun to have a plate of lots of different things and to pay by weight. Also lots of cakes available (the bread pudding was delicious and perfectly moist / not too sweet)

Rare vegan spot making really tasty food. A gem for us to find so much of our favourite food vegan. Spot is clean and comfortable to eat there, staff were super nice ! Highly recommend the Philly cheesesteak

Amazing hot Buffet vegan comfort soul food! Super tasty and spice was on point (quite often the season of vegan food could get over spicy). As the food goes by weight, be a prescriptive with the amount of food you want to try. Staff is friendly and there are so many sweet and smoothie options. Definitely will get back as the “chicken” jerk and drumstick were so good. There is a park close by that is a great option to eat besides space inside the store. I got a carrot cake and a juice to go and check was about $21.

I visited this restaurant for the first time yesterday. The food looked delicious, and it was. However, there was no menu, and when I asked about the dishes that weren't obvious, the woman behind the counter seemed bothered. I could feel her frustration, and a line started to form. I didn't want to hold anyone up, so I quickly placed my order. If this was any other establishment, there would be a visible menu listing the specials of the day, the food would be labeled, and the customer service would have been stellar. I'll never understand why people who get annoyed easily or aren't willing to help work in customer service.

I first came across this restaurant’s food at an event I attended. A few of their dishes was a part of the catering. Their food was absolutely delicious I had the yams, fried whitening fish, and collard greens. Let me warn you if their collard greens were SPICY. I don’t do spices. Even many of the people who love spices also stated it was to spicy. I was in the area and decided to order for lunch. I visited the restaurant in October 2023. I placed my order online so it could be ready for pick up when I arrived. I was disappointed to learn the fried whiting fish is only available through their catering menu. I decided to order the stewed chicken, coconut peas and rice, steamed cabbage, yams, macaroni & cheese, cornbread, and lemonade. When I arrived to the restaurant, I noticed it’s not a sit-down restaurant. Seems like you pick up and go. I was greeted by staff told them I was picking up and they let me know my order was ready. I was so eager to dig into my food. I was expecting the Caribbean flavors and was let down and disappointed in my meal. I even shared with my coworker for her opinion. The best thing out of everything I ordered was the yams and lemonade. The chicken was bland and had no flavor. The peas and rice was okay. The cabbage wasn’t cooked and still too crunchy again no seasoning/flavor. The macaroni and cheese wasn’t good. The cornbread was okay, it has pineapple in it. I don’t think I’ll return and if I do it’ll only be for the yams and lemonade. This didn’t taste anything like Caribbean cuisine. The portion of the food was also really small. My total was about $36.00. This location is accessible via public transportation.

I visited Sisters for the first time today, and it was absolutely delicious! I had a vegetable plate that was full of flavor and love. On the counter, there were lots of interesting books to read while waiting for my dish. I wish all the best to sisters and see you next time. Much love

Ordered delivery from this establishment while in town for work.
Paid for extra oxtail gravy and pepper sauce separately, however received neither. Also ordered the hibiscus lemonade but received regular.
Disappointed that with the additional costs I didn’t receive these things i paid for. I will say the jerk chicken was tasty.

The food was wonderful! I had shrimp roti, the curry was spicy and flavorful, the shrimp were large and the portion size was generous. The hibiscus lemonade was so delicious, I would drink that everyday if I could. I took yummy coconut pineapple cake home for dessert. Service was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant is very small, could seat about nine people family style, at one long table. The four stars for atmosphere instead of five is for the heat. On a hot day as it was, the air conditioning was not adequate for comfort. They are planning to put in more fans soon, which would help.

The same crew has been here for decades & the costumer service is excellent from my friends here at china king. Couldn’t recommend a better place in Harlem!

The food is great and usually orders via door dash. But no longer available 😢. Postmates and ubereats charge almost 45 bucks for what I usually order, which cost be 26 or doordash. I'm not sure who markets the price on these apps, but they gauging prices. So if im not around the store, I won't be getting anymore

Clean and professional place, but what I don’t like is one of the guys cleaning while I’m eating. Please stop doing that, but other than that the area was clean the staff behind the counter were nice and professional. I will come again again.

Surprisingly a very clean location with friendly staff that make accurate, tasty orders.
We had to come here as soon as the Mexican Pizza made a return. It was as good as I remember it being! Cheesy, crunchy, and savory.
Mobile ordering is fast and easy as well.

Decent lower-cost pizza, meaning that it's flavorful despite being light on ingredients. But I did apply some oregano & pepper flakes because I've been eating a lot of pizza lately, & that stuff numbs your palate quickly & persistently. The restaurant is a little grimy but not quite nasty, & I appreciate that they keep the doors open, even in the winter, providing good ventilation.

I got off the train from LaGuardia airport at 125th St. and just a few steps away on the same block is this pizza place and it’s only two dollars a slice and they also take credit card not to cash. So if you’re starving and you don’t mind, the quick, not the best quality pizza and not much cheese, this is a great option. It filled my belly and I was able to get to the next part of my travels. There is no air conditioning in the summertime and there is no warm fuzzy atmosphere, but it is very efficient for hunger. Nice staff! The pizza is not bad either.

This pizza by the slice restaurant really hits the spot when you’re looking for affordable pizza that is solid.
For $4.75, you can get 2 large slides of cheese pizza and a fountain drink. This is the perfect amount of food to keep you satisfied.
The restaurant didn’t have much variety available when we went, at 9pm on a Friday night, but what they did have available was still fresh.
Gourmand - 2 years ago
The pizza slice portion was alright. But something was seriously lacking in the pizza.
I think it was the sauce and the quality of the cheese they use.
Not flavourful. But fills you belly and well cooked.

Small place, former 1 dollar slice franchise. Lately, name changed, the price increased 100% and now $2 slice. The size of the slice didn’t change. The lousy service didn’t change. Yeah, there is no lines anymore, but service still need some improvements.
