This place was nice and low key. We ordered boneless 10 piece with honey bbq and medium buffalo. We did not wait long our food was hot and tasty! Bomb wing spot especially if you had some drink!

The best babaganoush I’ve ever had and overall delicious food, great ambiance. We also tried the veggie cigars which were delicious, and the fluffy chips which are unlike anything I’ve ever tried before and loved them! They have cute pieces by artisans, I bought a cute card and noticed they had beautiful makeup pouches and home decor. Great place to come hang out with friends, enjoy the patio, or stay in. Love working from here and will certainly be back every time I’m in the city.

One of my favourite spots in Harlem. The food and vibe is on point, with the music downstairs as an added, brilliant, bonus. An easy routine is dinner upstairs followed by a few drinks with live music downstairs. Can’t go wrong.

Love love LOVE Silvana! This Harlem staple did NOT disappoint. I highly recommend the shakshuka and the crispy cauliflower. The folks here were also very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely come back here again.

Harlem Tavern is a vibrant spot in NYC that offers a great mix of atmosphere, food, and drinks. The outdoor seating is spacious, so it’s great for a sunny day or warm night. They have a solid menu with comfort foods like the Tavern Burger and Buffalo Wings that hit the spot. The drinks selection is great too with plenty of craft beers and cocktails to choose from. Also the staff is super friendly- only did 4 stars because it was so busy, so we had a to wait a bit to put in our requests.

The food and service were awesome. They could handle a party of thirty or more without needing a deposit. I loved the food, drinks, and servers. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The atmosphere was upbeat but not too crazy, which was great for families and kids. There was even live music, and the performers played Sesame Street for my daughter.

Went during happy hour but ended up ordering drinks outside of the happy hour menu due to limitations on drink types. Food was actually really good but seems all food in Harlem hits so far! Just keep in mind it's gonna be pricey whenever in Manhattan.

Maybe their night life is better than their day time lunch hours. I called ahead to see if they serve turkey burgers and was happy to hear that they do! I walked in around 2PM and the energy and hospitality was lack luster, as I was told to seat myself wherever. Initially I went to the bar where I was told happy hour does not begin until 4PM and only drinks will be served. So, I find a quiet spot in the corner between the threshold of the bar and dining room. The water glasses are already facing right side up on the table, and visibly dirty. I just asked for a clean glass, no problem. I’ll take partial responsibility for the fact that I was served a turkey burger with pork bacon on it. I ordered blindly without reading the menu, but I feel as though I should’ve been informed by my knowledgeable waitress. Regardless, I sent it back knowing they were just going to remove the bacon from my burger and reassemble it accordingly. To my dismay, my burger comes back with a hair on the plate. Mind you, it’s only 2PM. I’m sure it wasn’t intentional but at this point the cleanliness of this establishment is a cause for concern. In the end my meal was compensated, and I was no longer planning to leave this review due to their effort to rectify the situation. However, the opportunity presented itself when I was notified to leave a review😅

Don’t let the good photo fool you. Although the waitress was very and provided me with options for my wings, the wings itself were dry! Covered in sauce on the outside but when you take a bite it’s all dry.

Nestled in the heart of Harlem, Melba's has long been a staple for soul food enthusiasts. We recently dined there and sampled two classic dishes: chicken and waffles, and oxtail with yams and mac & cheese. The chicken and waffle combination was satisfying, though not particularly memorable. The chicken was well-seasoned, but it lacked the wow factor we were expecting from a place known for soul food excellence. As for the oxtail, it was tender but a bit too sweet, and the sides of yams and mac & cheese didn't quite hit the mark. The yams were sweet but slightly underwhelming, and the mac & cheese could have used a sharper kick of cheese. Service, however, was a highlight. The staff were attentive and friendly, making the experience more enjoyable. They were quick to respond to requests and ensured our meal was served promptly. One downside was the restaurant's ambiance. Unfortunately, the dining area had a slight mildew smell, which detracted from the overall experience.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! We had the most fantastic waiter ever, Bryan!! My husband and I were there to celebrate both of our birthdays and he certainly made it very special! A dear friend that lives in New York suggested this restaurant and it certainly did not disappoint! Melba's food is seasoned to perfection, fresh and beyond delicious. The yams are to die for the dessert is really good as well we will definitely come back when visiting New York again. Do not sleep on this restaurant. Their culinary expertise is phenomenal!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The waitress was very nice. The Greens was my absolute favorite. I can talk about this all day, not bitter, not soggy they were totally phenomenal. The oxtails were tender. The Yams were not too sweet, just right. The salmon was great, and the mac and cheese were cheese. The fries were good also. The fried chicken was .... the outside on point, the meat was not seasoned.

Nestled in Harlem, this place has everything! Food , music and atmosphere! I’m literally counting down the days until me and bae go back! The catfish was fried to perfection, the sweet potatoes … I’ll have dreams about them! The red velvet cake was moist and oh-so sweet! I had to remind myself to stay still in my seat as I jammed to the music as I sipped and ate! It was a lovely experience!

This restaurant is a rare exception on the NYC Michelin guide being Southern food restaurant. I will start off by saying the service the entire evening was comically off. The waitstaff didn’t seem to have any understanding of the steps of service, but not in a rude way. Water was rarely refilled and our server rarely came to the table. I waited over ten minutes for extra lemons. Again, I don’t think the waitstaff are rude or unprofessional just maybe untrained or not held to a certain standard. With those comments aside, the food is truly exceptional and near perfect. The spring rolls are crisp and bursting with flavor. The cheddar cheese in the roll melts perfectly onto the vegetables. My salmon with a side of Mac and Cheese and rice was just out of this world! The salmon had a delicious honey glaze and the Mac and cheese was very cheesy. The rice was crunchy and the lemon provided complimented the peas. This was seriously some of the best food I’ve ever had in New York. A Manhattan restaurant is usually a tale of exceptional service and just OK food, but I’d say Melba’s is quite the opposite. Maybe it’s a part of the experience. I most definitely will be back, but maybe just for a to-go order this time.

Went here on a whim when a place right nearby that features Happy Hour Oysters was out of oysters and we were craving oysters! We went on a Sunday so we didn’t get Happy Hour prices — HOWEVER! Those oysters were HUGE! Plus the chicken and pancakes and the shrimp and grits were awesome. Grits made the REAL way - and this southern gal would know! Love the little nook setting of the patio seating and we had a great server. Service was *slightly* slow but I imagine it’s cause it was so good (making it v busy!) Love that they had a DJ. We also had the Sinners Paradise, which was v yummy but I must admit it almost tasted a bit like Sangria as opposed to what I thought would be like a hibiscus margarita. All in all, we had a great experience and look forward to going back for Happy Hour!

First off the food is PHENOMENAL. Absolutely top tier, everything was very pleasing to that palate and did not miss. I had the pumpkin French toast, shrimp and grits and red sangria. Major kudos to the chef. On the flip side, the service is ridiculously awful. I’m not one of those customers that want a server at my every beck and call, especially on a Sunday but the standard is an expectation. Do things in a timely manner and if it can’t be done, communicate that. I have no problem waiting with updates. We were there for 2.5 hours and 1.5 hours of that time was waiting without any update nor checking in. We had to remind him about our drinks and food and when we did, it immediately came out which means the kitchen/bar had it ready, he just wasn’t being attentive. Then to have the audacity to have automatic 20% gratuity when he was barely deserving of 5%. I can say I observed other servers holding the standard so I think it was this particular server that could use some coaching and improvement. All in all, the food was so amazing I would definitely return and definitely get a different server.

I recently visited this incredible jazz club that exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was electric, and the food was exceptional. We enjoyed the Drizzy G cocktail, shared salmon/crab cakes, turkey sliders with truffle fries, and the standout dish, the yucca fries with an irresistible sauce—an absolute must have. The night was made unforgettable by the soulful performance of Kirk Bailey and his band, who created a magical experience. I'll definitely return, and if you're looking for a thrilling jazz club, this is the place to be!

The food was fabulous. The service not so good. There were 3 of us. 1 person drinking the mimosa special. She had to keep asking for a refill. No other guests should know what anyone is drinking. There was hardly no one in the place. Servers just standing around talking w the bartender. Not the best look for a tourist like myself. I had a question about the menu. Had to get up, interrupt the chatting and ask a question. Very dissappointed in the service. WE can do better. I still tipped 25 percent. WE must do better.

The food was absolutely delicious. All the dishes we ordered were great. The lobster Mac n cheese superb, chicken dishes were not dry, very crispy outside and moist inside. Loved the ambiance. Our waiter was terrific. Kudos to owner, Leon Ellis for such a wonderful place.

I'm not really sure how we saw advertising for Chocolat,but I'm so glad we did.While visiting NY with my best friend, we had Sunday brunch at Chocolat before heading back to Connecticut. First, let's start with the service. We were immediately seated. Malaki, our waiter, tended to us with professionalism and kindness. We started with calamari which was the best I've ever had. I had buttermilk pancakes and southern sweet chicken. Although Malaki said it was going to be a mixture of dark and white meat, it was dark only. It was still delicious. The chicken had a batter crust and had syrup drizzled on it. My BFF had the shrimp and grits. She let me taste her dish. I was envious. We are from the south, so we know grits! And these grits were cooked to the perfect texture. The flavors were perfect with no one overpowering the other. One bite was engrossed with the bacon. The next bite had just the right amount of cheese. But the bite with the shrimp takes you to a place that makes you hold your breath and chew slowly to savor the taste and moment. The shrimp have a smoky grilled taste, and with the grits with bacon and cheese make this the best shrimp and grits I have ever had. I'm already planning my next visit, and you'd better believe I will get shrimp and grits! And both were just as good the next day!

Went to this restaurant for a friend's birthday dinner. The restaurant is nice and clean with a lot of seating space inside and outside. The food and the drinks are really good. Everything tasted good, and the portions are big. Good customer service. You must try the calamari and the fried chicken. Salds are very good as well. I definitely recommend this place, and I will be returning.

I had a birthday dinner here of about 15 ppl. The manager and services were all very friendly and accompanying. The prices were good, for such a large party. The bill was over $1000.Many glasses of wines and drinks were included in this price-I've seen worst. I personally felt like everything i tasted was salty. I had a taste of different meals at mt table that day and wasn't very impressed by the salt. Someone else at my table also spoke about the salt. I also had a comment that the jerk chicken could have been a little more tasty. Someone at the table enjoyed the chicken and waffles as well as the lamp chops.Also they could not accommodate dietary restrictions because all the food is prepared in the same kitchen. They do offer inside and outside sitting. I was expecting a fancier place but it was still okay. They should add more fancy stuff to promote the name of the restaurant more (both for food and atmosphere. Maybe a big chocolate bar for photos/fun or chocolate design by the Bar, fancy chocolate meal- i dont know just something exciting like the name). Overall, it's a clean place and everyone had a great day. The restaurant grade is an A.

I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and it was also our first time visiting. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and the server made sure to keep them coming. Food was delicious and the restaurant it spacious and super nice. I really appreciate the clean bathrooms as well. Overall 10/10 and will definitely be back to try the dinner menu!

The atmosphere was vibrant with patrons looking happy to be nestled into their seats, enjoying food, drinks and fellowship. The wine was lovely and the eggplant parmesan was light and cheesy with a bed of tangy tomato sauce. I really wanted to try the grilled kale salad but shared a Caesar salad with my mom instead. She had a simple but delicious spaghetti and meatballs. We liked our short but enjoyable visit to Lido.

First time at Lido and I loved everything. I’m lactose intolerant, request a cream-free spaghetti and they were great to offer me a yummy version. Wine list is great and the music is perfect to enjoy a beautiful evening. No reservation needed.

Lido has been one of my favorite places to eat in Harlem for a good 3-4 years now. I love the clean feel of the space and I enjoy how quiet it can be during the week… great for dining alone! All items on the menu are created by author Chef Serena Bass who creates delicious menus , which change with the seasons, and everything, including desserts, are made in-house by Chef Bass and her team. The Spaghettini Arrabiata I can have all day everyday, of course I won’t but it’s delicious. Those noodles are perfection and the grilled shrimp are actually grilled 🫶🏼 The basil really completes this dish for me✨ The creamy Parmesan garlic bread is also delicious, the crab cake delicious (it’s unique).. we just need like one more portion of each 🤞🏽😂 The calamari were fresh and although fried they weren’t hard but airy… we like that over here! The was the best white sangria I ever had btw, just saying !

I had a great experience as a first-timer at the pantry today; the lines weren't very long due to the weather but I also got there at the top of the food distribution timeframe for today which began at 12:30pm. I had an appointment that I'd set through Plentiful but I waited in line anyway and was "in and out" in less than 15 minutes. The staff members were very kind and helpful to me as a first-timer and I am grateful for this service. :) I have a two-person household, and they assisted me with much-needed fresh(!) fruit (strawberries, blueberries, and lemons - strawberry lemonade, anyone?!), veggies (asparagus and tomatoes), milk, juice, and non-perishables, as well as a pack of chicken that will last a few days. This will supplement my regular shop as it is about $35-40 worth of food - at least in my neighborhood.

These 5 stars are for Shardai (I hope I spelled her name right). She is absolutely outstanding. She goes beyond the call of duty with every single person she interacts with. She greets people by name and goes the extra mile to prepare their drink just right. Still, it is not just about the drink for her though. It's about community. She makes people feel good and want to come back. She is absolutely the best brand ambassador that Starbucks could have and should want to have at every location.

This store is definitely NOT a 7 no where near it! How is it that there are 3 people and 1 cleaning and customers that walk in have to wait. Why do you heat up the food before a drink is even made and food gets cold. Though pleasant service you are batting a 3!!!!!
