4 Star Rating The wings were really good and had a nice kick to it. The owner was really nice and calm. The mozzarella sticks were really nice, cheesy, and crispy. The food was a bit overpriced, and the honey mustard cost extra. I would recommend and I will try it again.

3 Star Rating Went for lunch. Cute place with nice vibe, had to wait a little to get seats at a very wobbly table. Staff was nice and friendly. Part of the reason we came was because we knew they had a gluten free menu, as one of our family members has celiac. He wanted to order the schnitzel, which was listed as GF on the menu, but we double checked it, and it actually wasn't! So he got the salmon salad. He said the salmon was very dry. I ordered falafels - which were very good, and the shakshuka, which I didn't really care for. It was covered in green olives and feta, and I had to dig to find the eggs. The tomato sauce was overly spicy and I left most of it over. The chicken shawarma was too bland, and the fluffy potato chips were ok. Overall, not sure if we will be back, or maybe only to buy something from the cute shop that is in the front area that sells jewelry bags and scarves. Disappointed

4 Star Rating Great place and good Israeli menu. The Shakshuka was surprisingly good and served hot. The Malawach was also pretty tasty and served with tahini and tomato sauce (needed more for this size). The falafel was hard and not great. Service was a little slow.

5 Star Rating The best babaganoush I’ve ever had and overall delicious food, great ambiance. We also tried the veggie cigars which were delicious, and the fluffy chips which are unlike anything I’ve ever tried before and loved them! They have cute pieces by artisans, I bought a cute card and noticed they had beautiful makeup pouches and home decor. Great place to come hang out with friends, enjoy the patio, or stay in. Love working from here and will certainly be back every time I’m in the city.

4 Star Rating The food is excellent, however, the service is quite slow and efficient, hence the reason for four stars. I think the best item here is their falafel plate, which comes with four big falafel Pattie’s on a bed of tahini and several small salads and hummus, along with a choice of 2 sides. For $14, this is a great value for an absolutely delicious snack. We always get the fluffy potato chips which are really flavorful along with their fattoush salad. Another great item is the babaganoush. This roasted, eggplant dip is incredibly smoky, and the smoked paprika on top gives it great flavor. The pita they serve with it is extremely soft and fresh as well. We have tried other dishes in the past, like their cauliflower appetizer, but it just misses the mark. Honestly, just come here if you want the two aforementioned dishes.

2 Star Rating My travel companion and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for a quick bite and cocktail while we waited for our reservations at Melba’s. Thankfully this was just a stop. Had this been the destination I would’ve been incredibly disappointed the establishment being nearly empty the service was terrible. Bloody Mary 6.5/10 Heavy in the tomato sauce and light on the alcohol. Additionally, there were no additional love or accoutrements to help this beverage taste anything more than like leftovers. Jerk Chicken 7.5/10 Peach Fuzz 1/10 Do not recommend. My date sent it back. Rather my date tried to send it back but the service was so terrible. We ended up holding onto it for about 25 minutes before anyone came to our table to provide assistance. Salmon burger 7.75/10

Nice spot to with a group of friends, kid friendly to just enjoy a nice lunch or dinner, even better at night with some live entertainment and ways to watch games. 5 Star Rating Harlem Tavern is a vibrant spot in NYC that offers a great mix of atmosphere, food, and drinks. The outdoor seating is spacious, so it’s great for a sunny day or warm night. They have a solid menu with comfort foods like the Tavern Burger and Buffalo Wings that hit the spot. The drinks selection is great too with plenty of craft beers and cocktails to choose from. Also the staff is super friendly- only did 4 stars because it was so busy, so we had a to wait a bit to put in our requests.

5 Star Rating The food and service were awesome. They could handle a party of thirty or more without needing a deposit. I loved the food, drinks, and servers. Everyone was super nice and helpful. 4 Star Rating Food is definitely overpriced but the burgers and fries were very filling and delicious. I went for a late lunch so there weren't too many people. The vibe was nice and the music wasn't too loud. They have a lunch menu that is a little cheaper than their dinner menu. Even though there are a lot of servers, the service is really slow. I saw a group of servers just chatting and being on their phones in front of the kitchen when I passed by them on my way to the bathroom. Overall, good food but definitely not a place to eat at unless you have no other plans after.

4 Star Rating I went to Melba’s this past Saturday, and had a great experience. I love the subtle upscale nature of this place, backed up with some great dishes. The menu is small, but what they do, they do well. I ordered just two dishes; the chicken and eggnog waffles and an order of peas and rice. Both dishes were so good, especially with the addition of the strawberry butter and maple syrup to the chicken and waffles. I also had a strawberry lemonade drink which was refreshing. Overall, I think this is an excellent place to come for great dishes and a nice atmosphere.

3 Star Rating I came here in a party of two on a Saturday afternoon before catching a show in the city. As far as flavors go, as a Texan, I can throw a rock in Houston or Dallas and hit a place with better seasoned food. But, this is New York; so, I’m guessing it scratches an itch for locals who rarely travel south of the Mason-Dixon Line. If you expect to get a table on the weekends, definitely make a reservation. Otherwise, you may not be able to be seated at all. The servers and busboys were friendly and courteous and mildly attentive. Sweet tea 6/10 All sweet, no tea. Rum punch 7.75/10 Tasted pre-mixed and rum light. Chicken and egg nog waffle 7/10 Utilitarian portion. No razzle. Even less dazzle. Egg nog, out of season, is not as comforting as one would think. Catfish and egg nog waffle 7/10 Ditto above, plus I wish the catfish was better seasoned and crispy rather than mushy. Requesting a bottle of hot sauce was the only way to save the fish.

5 Star Rating I lived right by Melba's for 1.5 years but only went to the restaurant towards the very end of my stay in New York City. I totally and wholeheartedly regret that now. We ordered the oxtails and the short ribs - both were amazing beyond belief. The sweet yams where out of the world as well. Rest of the sides were good too. The final cherry on the top was the sweet potato pie, which was surprisingly served cold - it managed to be so impressive that it now sits on top of my dessert list.

3 Star Rating It was ok being that Thursday they were closing their doors. They had limited juices for drinks. The host was doing everything, seating, making drinks, bringing you your change from the bill. When I didn't see him, I thought he was back there cooking too. My shrimp and grits were very loose. Candy didn't enjoy her Pumkin French Toast, Diane enjoyed her grits with a side of catfish bites. Wendy's enjoyed her chicken and pancakes. The total of the bill was high to me.

4 Star Rating Went here on a whim when a place right nearby that features Happy Hour Oysters was out of oysters and we were craving oysters! We went on a Sunday so we didn’t get Happy Hour prices — HOWEVER! Those oysters were HUGE! Plus the chicken and pancakes and the shrimp and grits were awesome. Grits made the REAL way - and this southern gal would know! Love the little nook setting of the patio seating and we had a great server. Service was *slightly* slow but I imagine it’s cause it was so good (making it v busy!) Love that they had a DJ. We also had the Sinners Paradise, which was v yummy but I must admit it almost tasted a bit like Sangria as opposed to what I thought would be like a hibiscus margarita. All in all, we had a great experience and look forward to going back for Happy Hour!

4 Star Rating Visited here twice, back in Jan and then again in Mar. Both times had reservations, first time sat at the bar and the bartender was great, she was friendly and it was fun to watch her work. Second time sat at a table and they had a DJ that started shortly after arriving. And man, was it loud! So loud...hard to have conversation, so next time I'd sit outside as it wasn't as loud. If you don't mind not talking...inside is fine. Just no reason to have it be that loud. Anyhoo, first time had the Lobster & Shrimp hash and it was so delicious...if I could lick the plate without getting stared at, I would have. Second time got the Chicken & Pancakes which the pancakes were delicious however the chicken was over fried and a bit crispy. Should have sent it back..but it took a while to get service so didn't want to continue to wait. Didn't give 5 stars due to the chicken not being consistent as my table mate had it the prior visit which came out perfectly cooked. I'll keep on the short list for brunch options, knowing about the DJ on Sunday and sitting outside as well as bar seating vs table due to slow service.

We got the honey biscuits and shrimp for starters which were definitely really good. That was the best part of the meal honestly. Pancakes were ok. Service was decent. Benedict looked good and I know the grits were good as well. Portions are definitely a good size. Took a while for us to get the check. 5 Star Rating I had a great experience as a first-timer at the pantry today; the lines weren't very long due to the weather but I also got there at the top of the food distribution timeframe for today which began at 12:30pm. I had an appointment that I'd set through Plentiful but I waited in line anyway and was "in and out" in less than 15 minutes. The staff members were very kind and helpful to me as a first-timer and I am grateful for this service. :) I have a two-person household, and they assisted me with much-needed fresh(!) fruit (strawberries, blueberries, and lemons - strawberry lemonade, anyone?!), veggies (asparagus and tomatoes), milk, juice, and non-perishables, as well as a pack of chicken that will last a few days. This will supplement my regular shop as it is about $35-40 worth of food - at least in my neighborhood.

5 Star Rating Nice, quiet & spotless ! Just what I needed on a heckled day. Plus, I got to try a new flavored foamy oleato! Windows could be cleaner, but we've had lots of rains... so I get it.

5 Star Rating These 5 stars are for Shardai (I hope I spelled her name right). She is absolutely outstanding. She goes beyond the call of duty with every single person she interacts with. She greets people by name and goes the extra mile to prepare their drink just right. Still, it is not just about the drink for her though. It's about community. She makes people feel good and want to come back. She is absolutely the best brand ambassador that Starbucks could have and should want to have at every location.

3 Star Rating 3/24/2022 No matter how slowly you say your name...Chai tea latte and cheddar sandwich (no meat). Beverage and food were hot, store was clean and neat, the wait was about 5 mins . There is a $0.10 charge for cups (yes, on top of the $4.95 grande charge). Joy was the cashier, she was patient with each customer and clarified the requested order. My husband has a lot of gift cards, so I'm using them up. 3/25/2022 Same location and my name is different. Today's beverage was vanilla creme cold brew. MUCH more flavorful than yesterday's chai. I LOVE chai but no matter where I go, Starbucks' doesn't do it for me. But this vanilla creme is sweet and strong on vanilla flavor. I would recommend this beverage.
