My husband and came to NY for the weekend and went for his birthday last night. The vibe was awesome. You could tell regulars were in there or that they just knew each other from around the way either way it was nice. The best thing to do is definitely make a reservation otherwise the wait is crazy or you might get turned away. The service was great they checked on you almost every 6-7 minutes filling up your waters, relighting the candle on your table etc. The food was great it came out super hot not just waiting in the window. I ordered pasta but wished I had ordered what the other tables around me had ordered. My food was good but theirs looked great. I recommend you going there. It was worth the price. The drinks were good as well. I didn’t take a picture of my pasta.

Needs updates. The food here is consistently good and thats how they’ve managed to maintain their popularity but they’ve clearly outgrown the space. It’s crowded, tight, loud and uncomfortable. Came for a birthday celebration with a party of 11. Our party was on time except for 1 person. They insisted we couldn’t be seated until the last person arrived, however they assured us our table would still be available when they arrive. The person arrives 5 minutes later. The space was so crowded the table operator confused us with another party and seated them before us and blamed it on “their system being down”. We all waited in the tiny wait area on top of other people waiting. They kept telling us 10 minutes knowing the wait would be longer. In the meantime i sat at the bar and TRIED to have a drink while we waited and couldn’t even do that. The bartender brushed me off as he was making drinks for the entire restaurant and still had to make drinks for the people in front of him. 1 bartender for a packed Saturday night is absolutely ridiculous. Still waiting and growing bored i start recording the chefs in kitchen as the kitchen is right in front the bar. The manager walks over to me and starts hovering… About 15 minutes later they put together a make-shift table in the back of the restaurant in a corner where we could barely squeeze into our seats. The waiter then gives us regular menus when they had arranged prefixed menus for us. The night was chaotic and we could barely talk amongst ourselves because the music was so loud. There was a speaker directly over us. The only thing good was the food. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR LARGE GATHERINGS Or even an intimate date night where you actually want to have conversations

Went for a weekend brunch with a large group for a birthday celebration and everything went pretty well considering how busy they were. Food was amazing. Service was good considering our party size and just how busy they were, but could’ve been a bit more attentive.

The food was just okay. I haven’t been here for several years and it feels like the food has gotten worse. The rice taste like boxed rice and my friend who got the fried chicken said it was very mid. Hopefully they can improve their food but for now I probably won’t be back any time soon.

So, my best friend decided she wanted to celebrate her birthday at this restaurant, and I jumped in to plan everything about three weeks ahead of time. You’d think reserving a table wouldn’t be too hard, right? Well, it turned into a whole saga. I called the restaurant multiple times, only to be told their system was down. After what felt like an eternity, I finally got a confirmation text to set up the reservation. You can guess the twist—just a few days later, they told me they couldn’t accommodate us after all! Talk about a rollercoaster. But, in the end, it all worked out. Now, let’s talk about the vibe of this place—it’s absolutely **amazing**! The music? Oh, it hits just right. We were a party of twenty, so they made us choose from a pre-fix menu, which was $80 per person. The food was phenomenal, but here’s a major bummer: my husband found a long hair in his salad. Yep, he had to pull it out of his mouth! The waiter apologized, but honestly, he didn’t seem too concerned about it. On the bright side, the drinks were delicious and expertly made. However, the night took another unfortunate turn right after we received the cake. The staff approached us and said, “we don’t mean to rush you, but we have several people waiting for these tables.” I cannot stress enough that this was as we were still enjoying our dessert. It completely ruined the vibe and left a sour note on what should have been a fantastic evening. Overall, it was a mixed bag, but we made some great memories despite the hiccups!

3 Stars I wish I could give a 3.5-star rating, as there were aspects of the experience that I really enjoyed, but some areas left me wanting more. First, the live music was fantastic—it created a lively atmosphere and really added to the overall vibe of the evening. The customer service was also impressive; the staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. As for the food, it was a bit underwhelming, especially given the anticipation I had. We ordered the Mariscada and the Paella, two dishes I was excited to try. Unfortunately, they were just fine—not bad, but definitely not as flavorful or exciting as I had hoped. They lacked the rich, bold flavors that you’d expect from these types of dishes. That said, not everything was a miss. The Tamarindo Mojito was a standout—it had the perfect balance of sweetness and tang, and I would definitely order that again. My personal favorite, however, was the Plátano Chips served with garlic sauce. The chips were crispy, and the garlic sauce was absolutely delicious, making it one of the highlights of the meal. If the main dishes had matched the quality of the drinks and appetizers, this would easily have been a higher-rated experience. With some improvements in the kitchen, this place could be a solid choice for a night out, especially with the excellent ambiance and service.

Let me say this is one of the best experiences I ever had in the restaurant: I felt so much like home there . I started the year with a great experience when I decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate my mom on one the coldest day in Jan 2024 and May I add I’m glad I trusted my gut . The lady and gentleman working there was so accepting and accommodating of me being late . Long story it was empty , clean and the food was excellent. I would encourage you to try their drinks which was strong and good ; the sauce for the bananas was amazing . I can’t wait to visit again . I felt a lot of culture and that is what we want , hidden gem Trust me if you went to just get wings on their happy hours I’m sure you will not be disappointed but even a romantic dinner would be just as successful

Wow!! Wow!! Wow!! O.k. so I literally really loved everything at Amor Cubano.! Arielle was our server, and from the front door, she was nothing but friendly, kind, and helpful! The food,...oh my gosh..CRAVE WORTHY! We started with the Yuca Rellena...sooo good. Get 2! I had the Fried pargo...now I love fried pargo..it was perfection! Not too much, and perfectly fried... was very tasty! My husband had the Bistec de Pollo..he ate it so fast! The rice & and beans were to be savored. Overall, the restaurant is nice, cozy, and feels very friendly. The bartender Jonathan was very nice and made great drinks!! We will definitely be coming back😊

I was going on a sister date with my triplet. My sister was coming to my neighborhood to hang out in "un Verano en Nueva York" with me. We were going to the Marquetta for a house music event but wanted to eat something first. I decided to bring her here because i have been here before and i liked it. This place is good for food and entertainment. They participated in restaurant week and had a fixed menu. Can't complain about the food, but you need to be very patient with the service staff.

It was my first time at La Nostra and it shall NOT be my last. The service was very good, the prices were reasonable and the pizza was out-of-this-world delicious!! Dining in is available; I showed a staff member my covid19 vacvination card, and the bathroom is available and functional. I definitely look forward to returning, as soon as I can.

I recommend their mozzarella pizza slice! It not greasy, the cheese/sauce/dough ratio is great and the price is adequate. They also have several other types of pizza.

I finally found a great pizzeria that tastes like home with affordable prices. This place was recommended to me by a born and raised Harlem woman. She wasn’t lying when she said they have good pizza. Currently pregnant and craving their pizza. Sadly they’re closed for the holiday weekend but will open Sunday July 7th. There’s no place like home, “La Nostra”.

If you want to have a great experience with amazing food, this is the place you’ll find it. Authentic puertorriqueño cuisine in the heart of East Harlem with a friendly staff. There’s a bit of a wait for food, but that’s appreciated once you take a bite. Quality takes time. Def will be back. Update: Def went back and got the bistec encebollado! It was magnifique *chefs kiss*. Marinated to perfection with maduros and a simple avocado salad enhanced with a fresh in-house dressing. Now need to find the next dish to try.😌

If you like traditional Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 food, this is the spot. I started off with the Shrimp Mofongo....wow...flavor on point and nice portion...ended with the flan.... nice and sweet.... $4 beers! Tasty food and awesome people. Make sure you say hi to Nancy... provecho!!!

I visit this Dunkin multiple times a week, I've been coming to this location since I moved to Spanish Harlem. It's honestly the best location I've been to! The quality is constant, the staff are super friendly and it's the cleanest I've seen! Shout-out to Tully in the morning, she always knows the donuts my son likes and makes sure to greet him just like all the adult customers!

This is the best Dunkin in Harlem. The women here make sure your order is perfect and made in a timely manner. They ALWAYS make me decaf fresh to order. And practically know my order by heart. Such sweet women!

What a hidden gem. Everything dish was yummy. I love their mole selection. Mole cocktails, salmon mole with white chocolate and roses 🌹, mole lava cake. Everything dtink was a bit. Great bartenders. Beautiful decor and murals. Fun place. Went back for chicken mole and chorizo sopes. Epic and phenomenal.

Honestly a hidden gem in Harlem is the only thing that comes to mind. Their chilaquiles verdes with arrachera and eggs were to die for and their drinks did not disappoint!

A gem of a restaurant right next to the subway well worth a visit! We are staying next door so enjoyed some margaritas during the happy hour and then came back again tonight for a meal and loved it, don’t skip on the churros for desert.

The experience was wonderful. It was warm and friendly when greeted upon entering the restaurant. We were so glad that we accidentally found this well decorated, authentic Mexican restaurant. Rogelio, our waiter was so informative and so fun to speak to. He recommended dishes that was rare to find in other restaurants. We followed his lead and really enjoyed our supper and dessert. Highly recommend this delicious restaurant to anyone. Would love to return next time we are town.

Really homey, authentic, delicious food with the most sincere and kind chef/waiter. You can tell the business is run by the family, and their food is made with love and with pride. The prices are really good - we had enchiladas, guacamole, and bistec azteca - and all three really hit the spot, we left feeling full and happy.

Ordered from uber eats and disappointed. Missing several items from my chicken bowl (corn, sour cream, salsa verde) and it was essentially a container of rice. Fajita veggies weren't fully cooked and food had minimal spice.

Amazing food, ingredients, staff etc. Have ordered here several times and always had an amazing experience. The ingredients and presentation is very much beyond any other restaurant around the area truly. So fresh and so generous in portions. Really amazing experience overall!

First visit here and I said hello but no one said anything back. I really hope this food is good. Im having the steak entrée and my husband is having chicken with avocado. Its going to be a take-out order so ill update this review once we eat(only if it is good). This is definitely a family restaurant because they posted up behind the counter like security. Im hoping for the best but although we wear mask due to covid, I spoke very loudly and no one said a word. They didnt even ask can we help you or even attempt to hand me a menu nor tell me where the menu's are.. (3 ppl just stared from behind the partition) I figured it out on my own lol Maybe because I dont speak spanish. The lady spoke great english who took my order which I found interesting being nobody said anything. Maybe next time ill say HOLA instead of HELLO. I hope these reviews are right about the food because I didnt feel welcome but im in the mood for mexican food and this was of convenience at this time. Food was done quickly. 20 minute or less. UPDATE:(The food was great)

Take note: there are SEVERAL locations under this same name but the 3rd Ave & 109th St location has consistently provided good service and good food since they moved there. Not ALWAYS the most warm & friendliest place but the food is VERY VERY GOOD. Best catfish. Even the sides are down home good. We're not in the area but will make the drive because it's worth it. And don't forget the desserts!

Got the 4pc Catfish w/ 2 sides special on UberEats! I actually ordered it because of the special and kept thinking about it after my first bite. Everything is seasoned so well and cooked perfectly, including the sides—macaroni salad, potato salad, collard greens and mac & cheese (last two not pictured) The taste is amazing and I’m definitely going to order their other items next time!

I reached out through their online inquiry form and detailed my event requirements, including specific questions about options for my post-wedding party. Unfortunately, my questions went unanswered, and I only received a sample menu with an immediate quote. To my surprise, they sent me a price without inquiring about my needs, and the menu was full of seafood despite my allergy. This demonstrated a lack of attention to my event specifics and felt far from bespoke. I followed up several times, but my inquiries remained unaddressed. I even suggested a phone call for clarity, but that email was overlooked, and communication ceased altogether. For a company that markets itself as "bespoke," their lack of responsiveness and care for client details was disappointing. I will be exploring other options for my event needs.

Gaudir is now open 6 evenings a week (and for breakfast on weekends too) and I finally made it there. In the year or so I’ve heard if it, it’s only been open on Mondays and now I’m sorry I hadn’t been there sooner. The food is really good, the room is now a little different than it had been when it was Mountain Bird (new tables, artwork, a bit more lighting, and a bigger bar with a few seats), and the staff is incredibly friendly, including the chef who visits the tables and serves some dishes himself! We went two nights in a row and highly recommend the Gaudir salad, the eggplant dish with anchovy, the ham — not to be missed— and the churros (though I prefer them without the chocolate.). I took a photo of the mushroom dish but I didn’t eat it because I was too full thanks to our over ordering but I’m including it because it’s so beautiful.

I just catered a party for 60 people in my home using Tastings NYC and it was terrific working with them. I wanted an elegant rehearsal dinner with a cocktail hour and a sit down dinner. The staff showed up early and set up the entire indoor dining area. During the party, we started with an open bar and hors d'ouevres outside. The bar tender was excellent and the passed hors d'ouevres were tasty and terrific. We then went downstairs for dinner and had a choice of Miso Cod or Korean Short ribs. Both were excellent. We had great side dishes as well. For dessert, we had opera cake and blueberry cobbler. The staff was incredibly attentive and accommodating to the adjustments I made during the evening. At the end, my place was clean and items were neatly staged for pickup by the party rental company. Franck was our contact at Tastings, he was great. I would work with him again in a heartbeat. Our captain for the evening was Peter. He was also amazing. Overall, I highly recommend these folks and will use them for my next party.

We used Tastings NYC to cater a very small corporate on-site event (six people) and they were excellent. I tried to order from them online but the site wasn't cooperating so I gave them a call to see if they could assist. I worked with Kenwyn who was extremely gracious, professional, and took good care of us. This order was a little bit last-minute but Kenwyn consistently kept us in the loop with our order and stayed on top of all our changes and requests. The on-site attendees raved about the food and the service was top-notch. Thanks for coming through for us, and for being so reliable and professional.

Lovely Japanese and French restaurant for true foodies who appreciate creativity and authenticity presented in quality and fresh ingredients. Just take a few minutes to read the menu and you will understand what I mean. Don't miss this hidden gem in Harlem, and remember to ask for the specials of the day. Also, this is a no-tip restaurant.
