Yorkdale Mall is a large upscale shopping mall featuring over 240 stores and services in 1.6 million square feet which puts it at the 6th largest mall in Canada. Since it is directly connected to Yorkdale Station, it is very convenient to get to by public transit.

Yorkdale Shopping Centre is considered one of the trendiest fashion outlets in the Greater Toronto Area, but its 240 plus stores offer much more than just fashion. Anchor stores include The Bay, Holt Rentfrew, Tiffany & Co, SportChek and Old Navy. The Mall also features a Silver City Cinema complex, a food court and several restaurants. Yorkdale Mall also leads the country in technology related stores. It is home to both the first Apple Store, and more recently, the first Microsoft Store in Canada.

When the mall first opened in 1964 it had 110 stores. Since opening, it has undergone an expansion project in 1970 and a major expansion and face lift in 2005 which includes a 300 foot long 60 foot high glass atrium. Even more expansions are planned in the coming years.

Yorkdale Mall Reviews

Rated 4.5 out of 5 Star Rating

5 Star Rating ‏Yorkdale Mall is a great shopping destination with an impressive selection of stores and brands. The mall is clean, modern, and well-organized, making it easy to navigate. There’s something for everyone, from luxury boutiques to more affordable options. The food court offers a wide variety of choices, and the overall atmosphere is lively and enjoyable. However, the mall can get quite crowded during peak hours, which might make parking and moving around a bit challenging. Despite this, it’s still one of the best places in the city for shopping and dining.

5 Star Rating This is my number 1 mall in Ontario. I just believe and from experience know that you'll find anything you're looking for here. Think about meals, jewelries, clothing, furniture, home and office accessories, makeup, cosmetics, personal and space fragrances, health and wellness, fitness, etc I've been shopping here for years but recently learnt that there are 270 stores and 8100 parking spots!

4 Star Rating So far is the best shopping mall in Toronto to compare with other malls. Good time to shop on weekdays. Not many places to have a good coffee or tea. So many places are closed down. Only one big lineup to Starbucks 😄
