This place always provides consistent quality and service.
The prices are reasonable, and their menu is full of delicious items.
The seafood pho is flavorful and packed with just the right amount of seafood, spices, and noodles.
Service is fast and friendly.

This place is very economic , doesn’t look fancy inside at all, but food is very delicious there and pretty cheap. Also, portions are so big!

I ordered combo plate: beef, chicken, and shrimp with spring roll on rice with fish sauce. It was fresh and delicious. Friendly staff. Highly recommend

The food here is usually great, rarely is something not good. We got the coconut shrimp & chicken soup and the pho with beef (rare) and some salad roles! They are also one of the few spots to carry Jumex (a delicious Mexican juice brand).
Prices are reasonable and the location is pretty spacious with a good amount of seating and a good view towards the street. Service could be a little friendlier overall.

My friends from the USA were here in T.o. and they found this place for dinner. It was fantastic - early on a Thursday evening, there was no body there, though people started walking in later. The food was delicious. A limited menu meant the chef could actually focus on the dish at hand - and the paella was AMAZING. Not to mention the really colorful decor, good wine, and the beautiful live music - they actually played a request for me!! The service was attentive and just in time - not hurried not delayed - just the right amount of time between courses. It was a perfect evening. Definitely try it out!!

I really enjoyed this place. It's not fast service, expect to spend more than an hour here... relax, enjoy a pitcher of sangria, and then chow down on arguably one of the best paella's in town. It's somewhat "hidden" location makes it that much more cozy, romantic, and special and the interior is certainly reminiscent of decorations you would see in a small Spanish town. Enjoy!

Amazing food and service! Not sure why there aren't many people who come here. The owner of the store is very attentive to dietary restrictions. Paella is made fresh with a lot of ingredients and kept warm in a hot Paella pan. Highly recommended.

First time here for dinner. The place carries a heavy sense of nostalgia. Big bright space with huge paintings.
Firstly the staff are super friendly and professional with fantastic service. The location felt a bit empty.
We started with some cocktails. Their cocktails are very decent and the wine menu is priced well. We had appetizers and mains.
Their cocktails baked rolls were hot and fresh and went well with our snails. For mains we had Canard a l'orange and Lamb.
Sadly our mains were a little disappointing. For the price I was expecting a better quality of main, tough meat that was lacking flavour.
I’m a sting believer in supporting local business and would definitely want to see this place do well.

My dinner reservation at Bumpkin's was wonderful, fantastic food, impeccable service, cosy ambience and a lovely atmosphere.
Headed to the restaurant for an early dinner reservation as I had a broadway show after, with my expected 2 hours dining time...I was able to sit, relax and enjoy my dinner without feeling rushed in a cosy fireplace burning dining room with lovely decor.
My 3 course meal was well paced as I went for the prix fixe menu option....my hot cream of broccoli soup was delicious with warm bread, so was my lamb dish with roasted potatoes and veggies cooked to perfection and finish off with my favorite dessert tiramisu...wine was good and nicely chilled.
The service from my server was very professional and pleasant, everything well timed...as I do enjoy fine dining...this was one of the best...I'll definitely return to this restaurant in the future as it was everything I've hoped for...Highly recommend!

We ALWAYS order from Pizza Nova because you get what you ask for - and it's always GOOD... except last night's order. There are many reasons why an order can be wrong but there is only one way it can be corrected: a phone call to Pizza Nova and their Customer Service. We called about the under-cooked pizza (we like a Well Done crust) and Pizza Nova has adjusted the price of our next pizza accordingly. We WILL order again bc their pizza's still THE BEST and, sometimes, people make mistakes. Just don't eat the pizza BEFORE you call them - that's only fair.

October 2023: Sunday dinner & craving pizza. Ordered delivery for 10 hot chicken wings, a Deluxe and the Napoletana (it has anchovies*.) * Hard to find these days.
Delivery was quick & polite, the pizzas were delicious & the wings were moist with just enough kick.
Nice of them to include a complimentary jar of their sauce in celebration of their 60th anniversary.

Previously: I weep for this generation as they will never have the pleasure of biting into a Pizza Nova veal sandwich of old. If it weren't for the bread, sauce and add ons of cheese, onions and mushrooms well, just see the pic. You get a thin piece of je ne sais quoi.
The Hawaiian slice was crisp and tasty, the Staff pleasant but seemed bored. To be expected working on a Holiday and with two customers in the whole place but you do have a paying job so be happy for that.
The restaurant is clean. The carpets need a good vacuum.
The wings, ordered hot were hot 🔥 and good enough to wake up the taste buds.
I just wouldn't go back for the veal.

EVERY time I get a pie out of this location it is literally PERFECT. I get the medium pepperoni, extra cheese, well done and it is ...well...perfect! I wanted to call you guys in person but I could only find the main number but I wanted to say thanks you guys! Best pizza ever. Every time.

I must say, this was the best panzerotti I've ever had. It was a crispy, golden delicious mess and I loved every single messy bite! The two main reasons why I enjoyed it so much was that it arrived hot and crispy; in the past, pazerotti's, usually arrive somewhat warm and soggy, not crispy at all. Secondly, it was jammed full of veggies, as you will see, below. I have never received a panzerotti so full of my chosen fillings, the veggies were tender crisp and fresh. They used the perfect amount of sauce and vegan cheese, too much vegan cheese isn't a good thing. I will definitely be ordering from this pizza joint again and again! Oh, BTW, the delivery guy was super nice, also! All in all, a great experience!

Muhammet is an incredibly friendly and warm-hearted owner. He never fails to engage in pleasant conversation and always has a smile on his face. The restaurant's design is entirely organized around Ethiopian culture, and as soon as you step inside, you feel transported to a different world. It's a charming, intimate, and colorful cultural experience.
Despite being a small establishment, traditional details greet you at every turn. The food is delicious. This was our second visit, and we ordered a plate with small portions of various dishes from the menu. It was a delightful culinary experience for us, and we will likely return again.
The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, allowing guests to immerse themselves in Ethiopian culture through both the decor and the cuisine. Overall, it's a unique dining experience that we highly recommend to anyone looking to explore new flavors and cultures.

I tried an Ethiopian restaurant for the first time, and it really surprised me! I ordered their famous vegetarian bayaaynatu after reading some reviews, and it was super tasty. It was also my first time eating with my hands, which was a cool and different experience. We finished off with their coffee, which comes with popcorn on the side. The coffee was a bit pricey, but the whole thing was worth it because the host brought out smoke, and the whole experience felt really unique.

Great place for authentic Ethiopian food. The ambience is a delight and the food a sheer treat. The mild taste keeps you wanting to continue eating. The injera bread, a kind of fermented softly rolled crepe is so smooth and spongy that it literally melts in your mouth. The only down side is that they do not offer any cutlery, which could be an incumbent to a few who do not quite enjoy using their fingers. However, the immersive experience is worth a try , and I did appreciate their determination to maintain authenticity. Great place with wonderful decor. Must try!!!!!

First time with a friend on a Thursday night. Poor guy had worked all day and was both thirsty and hungry. Food wise I order one of each. Pretty easy as there are only four items on the menu. Olives, spicy nuts, cheese board and Charcuterie platter. Nope on the cheese and nope on the Charcuterie. We don’t have those anymore. They didn’t sell and would go bad we are told. It’s going to be a short first time visit.
Olives, nuts and cocktails arrive in no time. Drink wise, nothing to complain about and the same goes for the olives. The nuts are bland and someone needs to put a minute or two into what “spicy nuts” are all about and I’m not talking about some Brazilian guy.
Looking around at this Boutique cocktail bar, I see ads for Tweed on the walls and guys in t-shirts and baseball caps sitting about…not that there’s anything wrong with that but you know, time and place…and an albeit pleasant but tobacco reeking waiter who takes the time to do stretches at the end of the bar showing off posterior skin with his little bum up in the air. Hmmm., drinks and a show but again, any aura of this joint being somewhat classy, premium or high-end…their own words…is thrown right out the window. Seven months ago a reviewer qualified the place as having and I quote: “a refined crowd.” Well Sir, you should have been here on our night and I’m sorry I missed yours.
But it’s all good. We are invited to come back in the new year when they’ll have Bruschetta on the menu. That’s slices of bread with chopped tomatoes in case you don’t know.
PS: Someone needs to spend 15 minutes and put little stickers over menu items you do not serve and possibly update your website. It’s the world we live in and many of your guests do take the time to read these entries.
So that was our first impression. Am I or are we going back? Probably as I base myself on the three strikes you're out system.

We were greeted promptly and shown to our reserved table.
Drinks and apps order taken fairly quickly. Apps arrived in reasonable time.
The deep-fried pickles and onion rings were amazing! Not that the cauliflower bites weren't very tasty... but the other two...
The mains were very tasty - portions on the large side, so plan accordingly.
The Cuban Sandwich - yummy!

An authentic looking pub with good food, great service, good prices and a great atmosphere.
This is my second visit to The Artful Dodger and I will certainly return again. The "Dodger" is located a short walk from either the Bloor or Wellesley subway stations. This a great place to meet up with friends and enjoy some food with a pint or two!
The pub atmosphere is cozy, warm and friendly. A great place to sit and chat and not overpoweringly loud (at least when I have visited).
The food menu is for the most part is typically pub, with a few twists. The choice of menu items appears to offer a little more choice compared to most pubs. The food is very good, based on my experience ordering the burger and the chicken club.
Service was fantastic. Our server was friendly, prompt and engaging even though she appeared to be taking care of the bar and the lower floor.
Definitely worth a return visit!

I have no idea why I didn’t know about this great pub just off of Yonge Street that inhabits two turn of the century houses. They pour a proper pint of Guinness, the service is good and locals populate the place probably for decades. Love it.

Very laid back, just the kind of bar I like to frequent. No loud music; easy to chit chat with fellow drinkers on any topic under the sun, notably the US presidential debate. Nice collection of draft beers, very reasonably priced. Excellent location, just a 4 min walk to Bloor-Yonge subway station and away from the noise & traffic at the same time. My new favorite bar in Toronto. Didn't try any food or bar bites, just draft beer. I'll try the spacious looking outdoor seating next time.

Typical pub food that can be underwhelming but not horrible. Service was pretty good even with what seems to be one person working two separate rooms. Moderately busy for a Tuesday evening. Good place to go to sit and chat. Very cozy and homey. Would come again!

Though it was a short visit, the little time spent was lovely with a varied menu, nice and clean, prices is good value as well...you wouldn't think much of it from the streets until you push the door and I was pleasantly surprised.
The greeting was welcoming...but all I needed was some hot soup which was delicious...before heading to the airport...will definitely try this restaurant fully next time in town...wish I had stumbled upon it sooner.

He made sure the chefs and waiters were on time while cooking and delivering the meals, and made sure that everyone was satisfied. Lastly, the pricing was very reasonable and affordable. The food was amazing and the menu has such great variety. Accidentally got chicken tacos instead of fish tacos at first so check your meal when you get it! There was only one waiter and many tables were occupied so it wasn’t their fault for the mix up. Adding more servers would be beneficial to both business and for the customers.

Great location. Karaoke Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. Excellent DJ (no attitude) on Saturday night. Web based sign up (fair). Really great crowd, however more formal than other places as everyone is seated. However, very supportive crowd with really talented singers. I will definitely go again.
Also, the building is historic complete with plaque that reads:

This is a very average pub restaurant offering your typical drinks and pub food at fairly good prices. We were a group of 8 and the waitress was quick and efficient, especially considering that it was busier than usual given the huge crowds in the area for Pride weekend. That being said, it's hard to get pub food wrong. My main issue with this restaurant is that the owner appears too cheap to want to renovate or maintain it. See the pictures attached; it's falling apart and is so outdated - not in a vintage or rustic kind of way. Anyhow it's an OK option if other bars in the area are busy, as was the case for us. But do NOT go out of your way to go here. I would only go here if all other options are closed in the area.

We needed a quiet place to discuss a work issue in detail while we ate, went to a small place we had a reservation for and it was packed to the gills and we couldn't hear ourselves think let alone get work done so we went for a walk and found the Fox basicallly empty. Never a great sign for decent food but we needed to talk so gave it a whirl. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff Nat who was fast with out orders and quite lovely.
I haven't had a good liver and onions for years and when asked about it she said it was really popular! which you never hear so we went for it and maaaan it was great! Tender and fried to perfection with a ton of potatoes and veg to follow. Beer was icey cold. Giver a try folks. If you're scared of liver, this is the place to have natures vitamin.

Server was prompt and we gave our order waited for wine a good 15 mins and my son went in to retrieve it our server was really busy was actually the bartender 3 staff for whole place two staff were busy hostess was not helping at all. Food came out beef dip with au juice and fries and a buffalo chicken sand a little bland the fries were so hot they burned the inside of my mouth. No server came to check on us asked busser for check. I realize everywhere is understaffed but this was really not a great experience. Food ok experience
