5 Star Rating Where sophistication meets ingenuity. Only Tim’s I have been to that serves a croissant with the lower half wrapped in paper, highly sophisticated activities indeed. Dare I say superior to other nearby franchisees. Also Tim’s is large and clean.

4 Star Rating It’s very convenient for travellers. I got the large iced coffee for a dollar and it’s really good. I did the survey on a previous receipt to get this deal. I also got a cheese croissant. It’s very average as there’s no taste of cheese in it. Next time I’ll just get a regular croissant and I pay less for that. The girls at the counter are very pleasant and helpful. Service there is superb.

5 Star Rating I always enjoy coming here whether it's for business lunches or taking family out in the city, it always warrants a great experience. The rooftop views and elevated dining make for a memorable meal akin to what you would find in a traditional Michelin-caliber restaurant. The cocktail and wine list is diverse and has something for all pallets. For food, I usually opt for the lamb sirloin and the chocolate mousse dessert. The service staff are knowledgeable, professional, and attentive - always making sure that we had everything we needed. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a wow-factor meal or impress somebody special in your life.

4 Star Rating Visited this upscale restaurant for a NYE dinner, and it was a memorable experience. Located on the 54th floor, it offers stunning views of the city. The ambiance is sophisticated, and the staff were attentive, kind, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. The food was great overall, but I felt the vegetarian menu could have been more creative. I’m comparing it to my recent experience I had at a similar restaurant in Amsterdam. Despite that, it was a lovely way to bid farewell to 2024!

5 Star Rating I’m here to share my experience dining in the Canoe restaurant. As my wife has a birthday, I have been booking a table a week ahead. Honestly, it was a long-time idea to visit the restaurant. But I just wanted to make an occasion more appropriate. Alright, about the Atmosphere: the view and interior are 5/5, and the location and vibe are good. Service: 5/5 Yes, the waiter was amiable and kind, always trying to do their job well. Food: 4.5/5. Yeah, it’s just 4.5, and I will tell you why. The food looks excellent, and all elements and textures are high-level, but taste was missing in dishes with protein. Maybe I need to order squab or rabbit for better taste. Dining time: 2 hours Dishes: 3 starters, two mains, two desserts Drinks: 2 cocktails Bill: $390 before tips, and $450 after tips. So yeah, if you consider it in this place, be ready to spend.

5 Star Rating Amazing! Amazing views from the 54th floor of the TD building with panoramic views over the Toronto waterfront. We picked a sunny day during sunset, but this was a bonus! The seasonal menu of local produce was concise but offered a delight for most - all, I would suggest! All our dishes were well prepared, presented and, most importantly tasted sublime. Staff were spot on, knowledgeable & welcoming. Highly recommended from these happy diners!

5 Star Rating I had my wedding reception dinner here for 30 guests in the private rooms (east and west room). Staff was extremely helpful, courteous and thoughtful (Amanda, the head server, would bring a straw to me for my drinks on her own accord to preserve my lipstick - thanks!). Everything was executed professionally with care and professionalism. Food was delicious. Planning process was easy and clear communication provided - I was actually impressed staff would remember instructions I had provided during the planning process with the event coordinator which means everyone is communicating behind-the-scenes on what my expectations were and ensured they were met. I highly recommend Canoe for any event! Thank you everyone, really made my wedding day special.

5 Star Rating After searching for what's we could eat gluten free in the area for something different we ended up at Jack Astor's. We are from Edmonton, and since Earl's, Joeys and Cactus Club are Edmonton born restaurants, we didn't want to eat their. And none of the other places we called around in the area were looking to be accommodating. So Jack Astor's looked like the safest bet. We had the steak their, priced really well. We would have paid double if we went to a fancier restaurant. So we were really happy with our choice at the end of the day.

4 Star Rating Lovely restaurant with lots of seating. We went there before a concert and they made sure we had lots of time to get to the venue before the start time. Food was wonderful and service was excellent. When filling the restaurant they make sure to seat you away from the others until the tables surrounding you are required. This was a pleasant surprise as it is nice to have some quiet time before all the seats fill up. There is happy hour pricing until 5pm. We had ravioli and focaccia for dinner followed by white chocolate cheesecake and a pear tartan. Dessert was good; I think we were expecting better based on the taste and quality of the mains.

5 Star Rating Fantastic experience hosting my wedding at Jump restaurant. Great experience working with the events team, pricing is clear, and the restaurant staff did an amazing job with the food and service. This is the PERFECT LOCATION for intimate weddings, the restaurant already has good amount of decor (cute lighting and wine cellar back drop) so we didn’t have to decorate a big empty space. We did the wedding ceremony at the cocktail area, which is a separate room from the dining space, the space is very cute and warm, guests get to huddle before the ceremony. After the ceremony, our guests loved the canapés … highly recommend the chicken skewer and calamari. For mains, everyone enjoyed the steak, salmon and mushroom ravioli. The portion sizes are very good. The highlight of the course is the pastry cheese cake, it’s very unique and adds special flavour to the meal. Overall, I highly recommend the space and everyone enjoyed the celebration. Shout out to the events and dining team (Andrea, Jessica etc)

4 Star Rating What a gorgeous hidden spot in the heart of downtown! My wife brought me here to celebrate a key milestone in our lives and this place was just perfect. Firstly, the staff is extremely courteous and accommodate for varied requests. Starting with table selection, since we were there with our baby boy in a stroller and we requested for patio in our reservation, they took us out to the patio and asked us to choose which table would be most comfortable. We chose the perfect spot with great views and a light breeze. I had to change my baby’s diaper, so when I requested for the baby changing room, he immediately eacorted me to the accessible washroom and brought in a table to ensure I had everything with me to change the diaper. This shows how much they care about the comfort of the customers. Our server would keep checking in on us and would be quick with all our orders and requests. Secondly, the vibe and the ambience were so comforting that we lost the track of time. I highly recommend the patio, even though while you are arriving, you may think it will be noisy since it is close to Yonge Street but their patio design keeps the area quite silent. Finally, the food was excellent overall with some opportunities for improvement in their desserts - selection and their sweetness. Overall, absolutely loved it here and will be back for sure. Thank you team Jump! Keep up your amazing hospitality!

5 Star Rating Summerlicious Experience ☀️ We hit up Jump in the financial district to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday with some friends, and boy, did we have a blast! Jump was pretty chill for a Saturday night, which was perfect for our celebration. We had a reservation, so getting to our table was a breeze. A couple of friends were fashionably late (thanks, TO traffic! 😉), but the restaurant staff didn’t rush us at all and took our drink orders while we waited. The appetizers arrived in no time – the Ahi Tuna Ceviche was a refreshing start! For the mains, the linguine with pangrattato was just okay, but the steak? Absolutely divine! It was seasoned nicely and definitely the highlight of the night. We wrapped up our meal with a delightful peach tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to our evening. 🍑🍮 Service was top-notch! Our server checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a spot to catch up with friends without the loud music, Jump is the place to be ☺️

4 Star Rating The Loose Moose in downtown Toronto is a lively and vibrant spot that’s worth checking out, especially if you’re looking for a place with great atmosphere and friendly service. We stopped by after a concert at Scotiabank Arena around midnight, and despite the busy crowd, they managed to accommodate our group of eight without any issue, which was impressive. The vibe and décor of the restaurant stood out immediately. It has a cozy, rustic charm with a modern twist that makes it feel welcoming and stylish. The lighting, seating arrangements, and overall cleanliness added to the positive impression, it’s clearly a well-maintained and thoughtfully designed space. The staff were another highlight of our visit. They were incredibly friendly, attentive, and upbeat, even with the late-night rush. Their professionalism and cheerful attitude made the experience even more enjoyable. However, I have to admit that the food was just average. While the menu offered plenty of options, the quality didn’t quite live up to the ambiance. The flavors were okay but not exceptional, and it left me wishing for a bit more in terms of taste and presentation. As for the drinks, the draft beer was disappointing. It lacked the depth and richness I usually expect, and the alcohol content felt underwhelming, which was a letdown considering their extensive beer menu. Overall, The Loose Moose is a great place for the atmosphere and service, but the food and drinks could use some improvement to match the rest of the experience.

2 Star Rating Honestly the server was the winner of the day here. She was wearing a trasher sweater and was super nice and checked in with us. The food was really want sealed the deal for the two star rating. It wasn’t good. I don’t think any of us enjoyed our food. We were a group of 6 and each of us felt like our food just fed our hungry bellies but didn’t have us feeling good as the flavours were not there For my meal I had chicken nachos with extra chicken and I regret paying extra when the chicken was seasoned with the barest amount of salt it seemed. I love nachos and usually opt for them and this was my first time ever regretting spending money on them. No salt on the chips and no flavour on the chicken and the cheese melted to the paper that a few of my bites had the paper in it Overall not impressed with the food at all

5 Star Rating "En route to Union Station, I stumbled upon an unexpected culinary delight. This modest establishment, nestled discreetly along the path, boasted a remarkable selection of house-made soups – no fewer than ten! After much deliberation, I narrowed my choices to three, and to my delight, the affable staff graciously indulged my request for a tasting. The lobster bisque ultimately captivated my palate. Striking a masterful balance, it delivered rich, nuanced flavors of the sea without succumbing to the common pitfall of an overly fishy character. This is a testament to the chef's culinary prowess. While the confines necessitated a hallway repast – a table and chair were fortunately provided – the experience itself was nothing short of delightful. Toronto's culinary scene promises much, and I eagerly await the opportunity to further explore its hidden gems upon my return."

5 Star Rating Before I tried it I used to wonder why anyone would line up for soup. It seemed a little cliche, playing out just like the Seinfeld episode for which the restaurant is named. But then I tried it and fully understood. I went back the next day and have since gone back several times. Although the line up might seem long, it does move at a fast pace (after all it doesn’t take long for the team to scoop the soup into a bowl). You can avoid the line entirely by ordering in advance with the Ritual app. Try it once and you’ll be hooked!

5 Star Rating Came here for an office Christmas party. Really attentive service and drinks. Food wise the octopus is better than Bar Isabel. Steak was meh a little below average; seasoning a bit too light and overcooked. But honestly I can imagine trying to cook and serve 30 steaks at the same time is very challenging. Loved the dessert donuts!

5 Star Rating Classy experience in the financial district. Tasty food, but abnormally slow service (hopefully a one-off). Oddly empty given the quality of food. We went in as a group of 4 on a Friday night with reservations at 6:30. The restaurant was completely empty upon arrival and hardly filled up throughout the night (there were maybe four other table throughout our time there), much to my surprise. I had been here years prior and it was quite busy, so my initial gut reaction was that something had gotten much worse. Our server was very friendly and our cocktails and dishes were great. The octopus and calamari appetizer was cooked very well, and the wagyu dumplings were very crispy and a great sharing. Our group spoke pretty favorably about all of the entrees we got (scallops, salmon, rigatoni, and chicken). For dessert, the donuts were excellent and not too sweet. We also opted for a cookie platter and our server accommodated my weird request for as many chocolate chip cookies as possible lol. The cookies were just okay, and I probably wouldn't get them again. A tad bit burnt at the bottom and they almost has a fruity taste to them, so I wouldn't call them chocolate chip cookies to be honest. The biggest gripe we had was that service was extremely slow. It took almost thirty minutes from seating to get our orders placed, and another fifteen minutes to get our first round of drinks. Do keep in mind that the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. I still gave this place a five star review as there are a few caveats: our server informed us that they had just changed their menu that day, so certain operations were running slower. Also, having been here years prior there were never issues with the service. So I'm giving Bymark the benefit of doubt here and hoping that this was a one-off issue. Overall, it was a good experience and I'd come back again for a nice night out.

2 Star Rating Food portion is so small. The staff gave me like a sprinkle of corn, a pinch of fajitas and 8-10 pieces of steak. If I didn’t ask for extra lettuce, I would have had a bowl of nothing for my salad bowl. What’s more concerning is the cleanliness of the restaurant. Trash can is overflowing. Tables are covered with food scraps, receipts, and half eating food bowls. The location isn’t even that crazy and no one seems to care enough to clean up the dining area.

4 Star Rating The smoked brisket burrito bowl was good and filling. I got the following in my bowl: half white rice and half brown rice, half black beans and half pinto beans, fresh tomato salsa, roasted chili corn salsa, tomatillo-green chili salsa, fajita veggies, romaine lettuce and smoked brisket. The beef brisket was juicy and tender. The veggies and salsa were good. I also got a side order of the nacho chips which were nice and crispy. I minused a star because of the poor line up and exit flow design where a bottle neck is created where people exiting end up bumping into people lining up especially during peak lunch service.

Our salad was topped with bottled Kraft Italian dressing and our calamari was definitely those pre-cooked frozen ones restaurants just had to put in the deep fryer. The steak was not a great cut even though we get their most expensive one. The decor and ambiance was like walking into a steakhouse from the 70s, and nothing had been cleaned or updated since then. Even the washrooms which are in the basement smelled like wet carpet. With the city having tons of wonderful steakhouses, this is one of the last I'd recommend.

5 Star Rating Open since 1966 for a good reason. It's all what's a good steak house should be. Great, perfect steak with the best fries. Don't miss the onion rings.

5 Star Rating We came for my husbands birthday . The waiter and host Chris are fabulous . The food was excellent . The chowder was great as well as the chicken dinner. I Prefer bardis menu over barberians.
