We walked in what looked like a food court so at first we weren't sure. Breakfast was great! The lady who took our orders, was so cheery! It was refreshing. Breakfast was served on real plates, coffee in paper cups. Brought to our table was a bottle of delicious fruited water. Highly recommend!

Wonderful service, fast and a warm and bright smile from the girl working ! Very sweet and kind !! And brought out our food in a timely manner and with great service !!
The food was delicious and the fruit was freshly cut, juicy and very refreshing !!
The watermelon juice was freshly squeezed and tasted amazing!!!
Would highly recommend for gluten free and vegan options - very accomodating and can change anything on the menu to gluten free if asked ! French toast was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had, chocolate was delicious and not overbearing and the bananas were not too sweet. The omelette was really well cooked and the pemeal bacon was so delicious !!

I went with my wife, she is vegan and had a lot of options. The place is inside this big cafeteria area by the university so it’s pretty loud but the service was amazing and the food is the best I’ve had in a while!!!
There were options for both of us, so vegans and meat eaters rejoice. We absolutely loved it!
I got the meat eaters omelette and she got scrambled tofu and the pancakes and we got a bowl of garlic fries to share, and a green juice each. All was just stunning!

One of a kind! A gem!
Imagine having breakfast at a 5 star restaurant, but even better!
The choices are endless.
My wife has celiacs (gluten free) and even she was very impressed with the wide variety on the menu.
Karine (the owner) treats you like a special guest. She rolled out our breakfast on a tray and even came out after to check that our meal was to our satisfaction.
And it was! My breakfast was delicious!
Everything was prepared fresh. The potatoes were crispy and the juice was freshly squeezed.
Honesty, I can’t say enough nice things. If I can give this place 6 out of 5 stars, I would. Next time I’m in Toronto, I know where I’m going for breakfast or lunch!

Karine’s is such a refreshing option in the food court! She treats each customer like family, brings their food to the table and is always keeping busy! Eggs Benedict with salmon was very good, home style fries perfect. Only downside to breakfast was no espresso machine.

Stopped by for a quick meal and were absolutely delighted. The staff is very welcoming and restaurant is massive. Very clean and nice decor. It wasn't very busy on a weekend late afternoon. We got seated right away. Ordered the classic chilli chicken with gravy and Cantonese fried rice (pork and shrimp). Both were absolutely delicious. A bit on the milder side but good nonetheless. Prices are high.

Yueh tung is hands down the best spot for authentic Hakka cuisine in town! The food is consistently flavorful, with each dish perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. It’s my go-to favorite restaurant and a must-try for anyone craving amazing Hakka food!

This Hakka restaurant has been on my list for a while. As someone who has lived in Kolkata, India this place definitely took me back to the Indo-Chinese taste!
Tried: Manchurian Shanghai Noodles, Mushroom Egg drop soup (Both Vegetarian)
Calm atmosphere.
Just tad bit pricey (for a solo diner 31$).
Edit: Bruh why you gotta do me like that by replying I said for an individual!!😂 Yeah I had some leftovers 😌

Yueh Tung is one of the last great Chinese restaurants in Toronto. The chefs here are truly masters of their craft, and everything they prepare is a culinary delight. My recommendations are the Chili Chicken, Manchurian Chicken and of course, the fried rice and their beef noodles. I’ve tried their chicken fried rice, egg fried rice and beef noodles all amazing! If you get a chance, grab a jar of their hot sauce it’s fantastic.
I visited yesterday with friends, found this place through Google, and it was absolutely worth the visit. The food, service, and ambiance are excellent, all at an affordable price. Best Chinese food in the city.

I had fairly high expectations from what I had heard. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive and over all pleasant people. The portion sizes were huge and generous and easily more than double what you expect. The food was a bit lackluster in flavor and a bit too gelatinous. None of the dishes really had that much taste.

This bar is so cozy and our go to whenever we’re in the neighborhood! Love the atmosphere! I wish they had more cocktails in their menu but still, love it! Oh,and the food is also great! We tried Indian poutine and fish and chips until now and both didn’t disappoint!

Always enjoy coming here. The vibe is chill and welcoming. Very warm atmosphere during the night. The German sausage was superb and the fries were pretty good too! I don't usually like sauerkraut but it paired perfectly with the sausage. The beer here is usually a good choice!

Sin & Redemption is a fantastic little pub that's worth seeking out. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with some really interesting photos adorning the walls. But what really sets this place apart is their impressive selection of European beers. Whether you're a seasoned beer connoisseur or just looking to try something new, you're sure to find something to your taste.
If you're a fan of good beer and a bit of history, I highly recommend checking out Sin & Redemption.

We were attended to quickly as soon as we stepped in, we were given a good table which we appreciated.
Vibe is of a historic fun pub, a must if you’re in Toronto and would like to experience a casual, no pretense fun pub with generous amount of food.
I had the pork schnitzel with salad. The dressing was good, light and not too sour. I added $2 to have it changed from stoempf to salad. The coleslaw was also quite good, not watery and not too sweet as usual coleslaws are.
The schnitzel was large, the coating was paper thin which I appreciated. The meat was well marinated and flavourful, something a lot of restaurants miss out on, usually there’s no taste, but this one was excellent. The chef did not cut any corners.
5* for service, food and vibe

I’m SO happy that I FINALLY found a EXCELLENT Japanese restaurant in Downtown Toronto. The staff was AWESOME and very kind. And the thing that attracted me even more is that it was a sushiwoman!!!! As u can see in the pictures, the sashimi is cut thick (exactly how it’s suppose to be in a traditional Japanese restaurant) and the variety of fish is so big. If u dine in, they explain and let u know the name of each fish they are serving. I came with a friend of mine, we share all the plates and they even gave us the vongole soup (which was DELICIOUS, I’m addicted!!!)
It is kindly expensive, but NOT overpriced once they deliver EXCELLENCE in service, food and menu options.
We also divide a 750ml beer, so that’s why my bill was kinda high. But I would say generally u spend around $40~50

We used to come quite often. The sushi was varied, wonderfully tasty and presented beautifully. We came several times for the Omakase - but would ask in advance for just fish and vegetarian - no other seafood, shellfish, etc., In the past, the restaurant was very accommodating and the meal was a wonderful experience - unique and artistic. We went back recently - with a week's advance notice about dietary restrictions - and they agreed. When we showed up, we couldn't eat half the dishes that were brought to us, even though we had gone over a list in advance. The dishes we could eat were decent but not particularly artistic or inventive. The cost was super high and we were still charged full freight even though we couldn't eat several dishes. It may still be fine to order regular sushi dishes (the sushi was fine - tasty and fresh) but this Omakase experience was nowhere near what it used to be and was not really worth the cost. Not sure I'm running to go back even though it used to be one of my favourite sushi places in the area.

Super tiny, squishy restaurant but the food is delicious. The deluxe chirashi was amazing and had the freshest fish I've had in a while, and the rice was perfectly warm and seasoned. I'd like to come back for lunch next time!

Japango Roll $19 7/10 - Basic california roll with torched salmon and scallop, topped with unagi sauce and mayo. Each component tasted quite fresh, the avocado was ripe and creamy, cucumber has a nice crisp, the kani is fine. The rice has a distinct sweet and sour rice vinegar flavour, but is slightly too wet. The torching really brings out the fragrant aromas of the salmon and scallop, and are the main flavour of each bite. The mayo was split though, and tasted both oily and eggy.
Some tobiko and microgreens topped on the middle for decoration, the wasabi was the basic "wasabi" paste and ginger was fine.

Downtown location is nice and secluded, the patio is spacious and elevated from street level which is a rarity among patiod restaurants. Tables are nice and spaced out for privacy. And the lighting is mellow.
Service and quality are on par with the Markham location.
The Host is peak Indian restaurant experience in Canada. I have been coming here for years and they are the gold medalists of Indian food.
All the curry dishes, the biriyanis, and the breads are top notch.
Butter Chicken: The Host is legendary for its butter chicken. Deep butter, tomato, and chicken taste. Very different from the balti style and fast food style butter chicken.
Lamb biriyani: awesome
Rajasthaani Lamb: This is a deep, rich curry dish with bone in lamb pieces. This is classic curry. Thick, full bodied curry with a garlic-ginger base and meaty aftertaste. See the pics.

Came here with my coworkers for lunch. Excellent service, Mamun was very accommodating for our group of 20+ people. Food was great for the price- my favourite was the chicken chili and mushroom. Naan bread was fantastic and freshly made. Atmosphere was cozy with nice furniture and tasteful instrumental music. Would highly recommend for a peaceful and tasty lunch!

A great location for those in the University Avenue area. The café is close to St Patrick's metro station, close to several bus stops, banks, shops and the AGO museum.
The display window is always very clean and organized, and the store is also very organized. They have good service, but during busy times, it can get very messy.
To provide good service to all customers, they have automatic opening and closing doors, tables adapted for wheelchairs and walkers, and an adapted bathroom. However, they do not have a menu in Braille.
The prices of the products are standard for all units.

Nice interior, clean. Opens at 8am. Had a latte which costs around $6. Don’t know how much food cost since there is no price on the menu. But they do have a lot of selection of fresh sandwiches and pastries.

Shady place.
Doesn’t have prices on the menu, went there expecting the sandwiches to be $6-8, turned out to be $14.
They don’t have prices on their menu.
The sandwich was like an airport sandwich dry and didn’t have much taste and too much bread in proportion to the filling.
It comes with a small side of salad which was decent but the dressing from the salad leaked all over the sandwich.
Go across the street to the food court, you will be much happier with the food

I’m a fan of salads that aren’t lettuce-based, and Cafe Plenty delivered. My half-chickpea and half-Greek orzo salad is really refreshing, filling, and tasty. It’s got a sort of sweet kick to it. Also I love plain black coffee/lattés, and the iced oat milk latté is one of the best I’ve had compared with other plain lattés I’ve had. I think maybe the oat milk is creamier than usual here? Only wish the place was bigger but they do have cute benches to sit at.

Food was delicious. Ambiance/atmosphere is what we enjoyed! Good music- not too loud for us to be screaming at each other. They have a drum roll that hypes people up. Service was fast and servers were nice

Loved the atmosphere, great spot for groups to grab drinks! We tried the Polar Beer, and I found it super refreshing, especially when paired with their skewers and the pork oyster mushrooms—highly recommend! The only thing I didn’t enjoy was the yakisoba which was too dry and lacked flavor.

One of the first Izakaya's I ever remember seeing and now I know why they've stood the test of time!
Extensive food and drink menu offered in a lively and energetic setting. They have drink specials every day and a portion of the menu is seasonal rotating. We loved everything we tried, with the standouts being their signature Smokey Hay Hamachi Sashimi, Black Croquette, and Spicy Goma Beef. The Smokey Hay sashimi is unlike anything I've ever tried before and truly unique - if nothing else I'd recommend anyone to come here just to try it.
Everything is ordered via your phone so just be sure to double check the items you get because we had a few minor mix ups. Despite this, service was friendly and accommodating, and food came out quick. Prices are a little higher than some other options across the city, but given the taste and quality we were not disappointed.
My only regret is that it took me so long to eat here and now that I have I'll definitely be back, especially for the Smokey Hay Sashimi.
Highly Recommend!

We ordered a hotpot but were served only after around 40 minutes, and then had to wait another 15 minutes to cook the food. It took almost an hour before we could start eating. I just wish there had been proper communication, we could have ordered something else if the dish wasn’t readily available. The food and place are still nice tho

This place is great! It was my first time here and my brother recommended it to us.
It's a low-key bar and restaurant. It's a really chill place with loud, vibing music that brings up your spirits. I would highly recommend coming here with close friends that you enjoy the company of and would enjoy the music atmosphere. 🎶
They have a huge TV near the bar, and they were playing a football match. They also have a private room in the back where you can enjoy the company of a larger group of people. I think they also have a TV in there because I heard people screaming and enjoying something they were watching.

Very fast service and friendly staff. Definitely small inside so there usually is a lineup outside but it went by fairly quickly for a weekday lunch. Got the tonkotsu black ramen with a side of chicken karaage. Ramen was delicious with flavourful broth. Chicken karaage could have been crispier. Was a bit dry. But overall, not so bad!

Stopped by during a workday for a quick lunch and it was perfect for that! 🍜 It was busy, but we were served right away. This was actually my first ever ramen experience at a restaurant, as I don't normally go for ramen. Things to know:
- broth is homemade and incredibly delicious 🤤 I could have enjoyed it on its own!
- you can choose from thick or thin noodles (not a huge difference in width)
- not a good spot for big groups or private conversations as tables are very close to one another but good for a spot for 2 people
I ordered the tokatsu black and my friend got the spicy tantan - we both loved it and was very filling! I had to pack the rest of mine to go because I was satisfying full.😄
I would definitely come back here when looking for something to warm my tummy, especially this winter!

Rich strong broth and so delicious. Service was fast and friendly. She was able to answer questions about the menu and give suggestions on dishes. The selection isn't as much as other Ramen places but plenty of variety in the dishes. I ordered the tonkotsu black and my friend ordered the vegetarian with egg.
The noodles came fast, was hot, noodles were chewy, meat was soft and yummy, the broth was full of flavor. I was so full coming out, shouldn't have ate the whole thing but was too good to waste.
Will come again on a empty stomach to try other dishes.
I tried the vegetarian dish with no soup and it was good too. A little spicy for me but different. The food is a lot and was so full waking out. I do think the $22 is a little over my budget but this dish is worth a try.
