This was a decent meal. Typical keg, service was a little off today but I don’t think that’s typically an issue. I also ate here early this week and didn’t have any issues. It wasn’t busy inside but the waitress was always on the move setting something up and likely missed our table a bit more often. One of the vegetable dishes we ordered as a side tasted like old BBQ grease but all other vegetables serviced were just fine. I think our tine here tonight might have been the exception and it’s normally a great experience. The 4 stars I provided take this into account.

I had dinner with my best friends at The Keg Steakhouse and Bar , Toronto.
I was very pleased to find that the food quality remains excellent and delicious
The food cooked very well!
The staff were friendly, frequently checking in to ensure we were satisfied and comfortable.
We had and enjoyable and pleasant dinner.
I highly recommend it!

Came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. I've never been to a Keg before. This was a lovely evening and experience, I would definitely come back again.
The cheese garlic toast is delicious. The baguette it's served on was fresh, with loads of garlic butter and cheese. I'd come back for this alone.
My 12 oz sirloin steak was cooked perfectly and was tender and juicy. The garlic mashed potatoes are garlic forward and creamy.
I would come back again. Great experience with attentive customer service.

Fantastic friendly on point service from Allen! Our food came with a smile and needless to say it was delicious! My grandsons first time they enjoyed the appetizers parmigiana onion rings, French onion soup, crab cakes so yummy and hot! Our mains were of course steak! Cooked to perfection! Lastly, dessert, I ordered the tiny creme brulle, 1 big creme brulle and the Billy miner ! Delightful delicious

I recently had dinner at The Keg Steakhouse + Bar on York Street in Toronto. Having enjoyed The Keg in several locations, I was pleased to find that the food quality remains consistently excellent. Each dish was cooked to perfection, maintaining the high standards I’ve come to expect from The Keg.
The staff were attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we were comfortable. However, I did notice that our server used her hands to clean the table, which made us feel a bit uneasy.
Despite this minor issue, we still had an enjoyable dinner overall. The Keg continues to deliver a satisfying dining experience with great food and generally good service.

We did take out, and got the butter chicken, garlic naan and samosas which were all delicious and very good sizes!!
Most importantly, the owner was so kind and took time to help us figure out what we wanted and gave us a sample taste to make sure we got what we’d like!! Did this during a busy time as well, 10/10!!

Vegetable thali was delicious. Gulab jaman for dessert was delightful. Chai was as it would be in India, even down to the cups in which it was served. Good service. The atmosphere was nice not fabulous, being near the door didn't help, It might be nicer to get a seat in the middle of the restaurant. Prices were excellent for Toronto.

This is my second time coming here and it was a GREAT experience!
Price is very reasonable and portions are great. The flavours were awesome and the service was outstanding. The staff was very attentive, fast and never let our water cups go empty haha. Food was fresh and tasted great. My "go to" at Indian restaurants are the Lamb Vindaloo with Garlic/ Butter Naan and Aloo Paratha (basically a thin roti stuffed with potatoes and spices). This restaurant definitely did it well. I requested the Lamb Vindaloo to be extra spicy and I can assure you the chef DELIVEREDDD. The lamb was extremely tender and the curry itself was rich, spicy, and packed with flavour. We also ordered the Chicken Pakora, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Chicken Briyani which were also great. But the Extra Spicy Lamb Vindaloo was definitely irresistible.
Truly saying, great food, great vibes, great staff. Will most definitely be comming back again. Thank you for a great experience!

Such a delicious Greek restaurant! Had a reservation for a team dinner and was glad they accommodate a group of 10. Service was attentive and prompt. I ordered the Moscow mule, which was just okay. Food was great though. Loved the flambe cheese and calamari as the appetizers. As for the main, I got the halibut. It was cooked well and I enjoyed the mussels underneath. Broth was flavorful. Everyone else enjoyed their mains as well.

Had a great birthday dinner here with my partner. Shoutout to Omar who offered us such amazing service! He made me an amazing cocktail off the menu and was sure to get us our food in time so we can go to the theater afterwards. He had amazing service. The food was pretty good as well but I’d give that a 4.

We were the first customer and also our first time as they just opened.
We had the saganaki (a flamed cheese), which we put on the baguette or bread was so good!
Other than that we had the grilled Moroccan octopus, in which the octopus was tender. Also the warm seafood salad, Fisherman's stew and baked halibut.
As it was good, however, it comes with a steep cost!

I recently had the pleasure of a romantic lunch with my husband at this location in downtown Toronto, and it was an all-around wonderful experience. We sampled their Firecracker dish and Bang Bang Broccoli, both of which delivered incredible flavors. The Firecracker offered a tantalizing kick that was bold but not overpowering, while the Bang Bang Broccoli was delightfully crispy with a perfectly seasoned sauce. Each bite felt like a well-crafted masterpiece.
Beyond the food, the restaurant's atmosphere added a touch of magic to our date. The warm, inviting setting, complete with stylish decor and soft lighting, made it a cozy retreat amidst the city’s hustle and bustle. We felt right at home, lingering to savor each moment. The staff further elevated our experience—they were genuinely friendly, attentive without hovering, and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in.
Another standout was how well-managed and reasonably priced the place was. It’s rare to find such high-quality vegan cuisine at affordable prices, and the overall value was exceptional. From start to finish, everything ran smoothly, reflecting a keen attention to detail and genuine care for guests’ experiences. For anyone looking to enjoy a memorable vegan meal, whether for a special occasion or a casual outing, I can't recommend this spot enough. Great food, wonderful service, and an ambiance that invites you to stay just a bit longer—it truly has it all.

Surprisingly!! Never go wrong with this special offer vegan Asian inspired restaurant.
I was literally confused at the beginning about their menus concept and unsure if it vegan or not.

The prices are affordable for this fine dining vegan restaurant located in Downtown Toronto.
I actually loved from the first time.

I recently visited Planta Queen in Toronto, and while I was excited to try this place, the experience was unfortunately a bit underwhelming. We ordered a variety of dishes to get a taste of the menu, but the food was hit or miss. The truffle rice, for instance, was a real letdown – it was overly salty and very oily, which masked the truffle flavor we were hoping for.
The other dishes we ordered were the gyoza, crispy rice, sweet potatoes, and tuna hand roll. These were decent, but none of them really stood out as exceptional. The drinks were pretty average, though the hot cider was a nice touch – warm and spiced well. However, the portion was small, and to top it off, the waiter accidentally spilled some of it before it even reached the table.
Overall, it was a lukewarm experience. With a few improvements, Planta Queen could definitely be a standout spot, but for now, it feels like it’s not quite hitting the mark.

Planra Queen provides an "okay" service experience, but the food quality truly stands out. The dishes are flavorful, with a good variety to choose from, making it worth the visit despite the average service. If you’re after delicious food and can overlook service, it’s a solid choice.

An Asian fusion all-vegan restaurant that will take your taste buds to the next level! Service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Green Dragon Roll and Cold Peanut Noodles. Both were delicious! For dessert, I ordered the Matcha Cheesecake to go (pictured is my friends Chocolate Brownie). Everything was so yummy and I would love to come again.

An upscale Italian restaurant with fantastic food and ambiance. The menu features a wide array of authentic Italian dishes, all thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients. We enjoyed two appetizers (burrata and polipo), two entrées (seafood risotto and pan-seared salmon), and finished the evening with a classic tiramisu. Every dish was cooked to perfection, with rich, satisfying flavours. The risotto was generously portioned and packed with seafood, but the salmon left something to be desired in terms of size. However, the searing and seasoning were spot on. Despite this, I would still highly recommend the restaurant for its high-quality, authentic cuisine.

We came to Little Anthony’s for dinner prior to going to the Princess of Whales Theatre to see a play. I got the Atlantic Lobster Fettuccine ($37) and my fiance got the Tagliatelli Bolognese ($29). The food was ok, but not great. It was presented nicely and delivered very quickly to our table but something about the flavour profile of both was lacking. It was pleasant but somewhat disappointing at that price point, particularly for the lobster dish which had so much potential.
The restaurant itself was bright with lots of windows. The ambiance might be nicer when it’s dark out. Seems to me like a place I’d prefer to come for lunch instead of dinner.
We made a reservation and were about 10-15 minutes late coming from the GO train, we called to let them know we would be arriving late ahead of time, and it wasn’t busy when we arrived but it still felt like it was an inconvenience to them. Service for our meal was pleasant and efficient.
Overall a nice meal although I think I’d return only for lunch in the future

One of our favorite Italian spots. We'd always get the prix fixe menu. The ravioli is to die for and the tiramisu is a must have. The other items are good too.
Their service has always been great.

Came on a week night with my friend around 6pm and it was very easy to get a spot. We shared the burrata, tiramisu, bolognese, and seafood risotto and they were all so good. Our server was lovely, he made sure our water glasses were never empty and checked in on us very frequently. My favourite was the seafood risotto. It had so much seafood, very easy to eat shell fish, and was very rich in flavour. I am definitely coming back!

I am visiting Toronto and staying at a hotel nearby, and my friend suggested this restaurant.
I arrived right before noon on a weekday. It was not too busy, so I could walk in without a reservation.
The service was very good. I thought my friend made a reservation but actually not the case. The staff said he needed to make a note of that before bringing me in so that his colleagues would know if my friend arrived. He also chose not to take out the unnecessary 🍽️ because he wanted to wait and see where my friend would like to sit at a table for four upon his arrival.
They had a lunch set menu but the only problem was I was not really hungry. The staff who helped me with seating came again to help with adding pepper and cheese. He was not our server, but still very attentive. I ordered wild mushroom pappardelle. It was flavourful and creamy, but not too heavy. It was also in the right amount of portion. It costed $29, perhaps it was not cheap but reasonable for the quality, service and location.
One thing though, for some reason, where I seated, the tile on the floor was not flat, so I kind of lost my balance a little bit when I tried to move my chair forward while sitting. It could be an easy fix if they could move or turn the table and chairs around accordingly.
There were lots of options for food on the menu. Also, a big collection of wine, mainly from Europe and some from the US. I was curious why there was nothing from more like the new world like Australia or New Zealand.
I would definitely come back again next time and make sure I would come hungry.

This was great for the special occasion we were celebrating but because of how expensive it was, it will most likely stay in that category for me. Definitely not a place I will run back to right away or very frequently.
Service was impeccable and the food was tasty but again, not worth the cost. The pat of butter garlic on top of my steak tasted like warmed up cream cheese, which was a weird flavour and texture combo for me. Sides were really good and if I were to go back could probably just make a meal out of those alone.
No complaints, just not a huge fan. Glad I finally tried it, though!

Really amazing service here. Got a complimentary cheesecake on my birthday too. Ribeye and garlic mashed potatoes were really good. We also got the crab cakes but I expected them to be bigger and have more crab (2 crab cakes were $40). Overall quite pricey but nice place if you’re looking for a fancy dinner to splurge on!

I have reviewed a lot of restaurants and rarely give 5 stars, but this evening was special. First, the steaks were excellent...tender and cooked to perfection. The sides were tasty too. Second, the venue is pleasant, relaxing and not too loud...so you can carry on a conversation. Third, the service was over the top. Our waitress, Kimberly, went out of her way to make certain everything was perfect. She was one of a kind. The cost can perhaps limit visits to very special occasions. However, it was worth every penny and we will be back.

Came here for my birthday, was not disappointed! We particularly love the scallops and their salmon here, melts in your mouth, feels really fresh and taste quite a bit nicer than your average sushi place. And of course with great quality and service comes a greater price tag, more on the pricier side, but not outrageously expensive. We sat on the floating sushi boat bar, and the quality of the sushi is still very good, despite not being made right out from the kitchen, still tasted fresh. Also tried the Udon and wasn’t disappointed, the broth especially smells really nice.
Would definitely come back on special occasions!

Fun experience with decent sushi but lacking in that wow factor for the price. You are paying a premium for the experience of having one of, if not, the only conveyor belt boat sushi restaurant experiences in Toronto. Service was satisfactory and attentive but expected for the price. Sushi variety was average with some exotic options and a range of drink and sake selections at all price points. Each plate is between $4.50 to $8.50 for two pieces, on average. Higher priced items like uni are also available. The uni was tasty enough but not from Japanese waters. I would return annually for the floating boat (Fune) experience, not for the price or quality of fish.
Bryan Crisp - 5 years ago
The service and quality of the food we received was great. It was a little on the pricier side but worth it. The experience was great especially seeing their rotating sushi boat system.
I would highly recommend this place if you want fast service and quality food.
Janice J - 6 years ago
Quite an expensive place. But it’s a fun experience to sit around a turning table full of boats on water carrying sushi. They also have a menu where you can order more expensive items like the fatty tuna. The fatty tuna sushi is quite nice, but the sashimi is not that fat. Meaning it’s a lower quality cut of the tuna.
Wen Z - 5 years ago
For sushi that's high quality and consistently good, come here. The floating sushi bar is cool and the selection that comes around is great. And if you want something that doesn't float on by, just order it off the menu.
Service here has always been great during all my visits. The waitresses are prompt and attentive and the food comes out quickly. Prices here are reasonable too considering the quality you're getting. This isn't your all-you-can-eat quality here.
Overall, one of the best sushi options in the city in my opinion. And considering this place has been around since the early 90s, others must think so too.

First review I’ve had less than 5 stars. The store is cool and decked out in Canadian style decor. Funny gfx flash across the menu screen like a delorean amongst others. Food came out quick and piping hot. I have to say it was not my favorite poutine. The flavor was a little too smokey for me, but if that’s your thing then I’m sure you would love this place. The best I’ve had since visiting Canada is NYC fries.

Decent poutine.
The toppings were great. We tried the shawarma and the philly cheesesteak and they were both good. The fries were a little burned but overall it was still good.
The guy working there was very nice.
I think it’s worth a try.
Ibrahim Awadallah - 4 months ago
A mediocre poutine place. A classic poutine is quite expensive relative to other places in the city. The quality wasn’t bad, the cheese curds were plentiful and nice while the gravy was adequate enough to fill my portion. Fries were not good though, cooked too well done and tasted old. After finishing it, a weird aftertaste lingers in your mouth.

Excellent spot with great vibes for a meeting or for casual hang with friends (as long as your friends have membership to

The roasted salmon was seasoned well, and most importantly had crispy skin - yum! My colleague was very pleased with his zza, by the look on his face. Delicious and a well-cooked undercarriage!
We’ll definitely be back if our friend invites us to hangout there again! 😁

My wife has been a member of the Soho house Toronto for 2 years now and I always enjoy visiting with her as a guest! Today was a fabulous brunch with friends for a birthday. We had the pleasure of being served by Karen, who was absolutely fantastic. Her attention to the table was diligent and swift. The food... WOW! I enjoyed the cold buffet, with fruit, cold cuts and an assortment of dishes. Followed by the most amazing fried chicken, macaroni and back bacon. My wife always indulges in the salmon, seafood and oysters. While my toddler ate more selection than I could keep track of. The freshly made crepes at the end, sealed my stomach with a kiss! I can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend anyone that’s considering becoming a member!!!
UPDATE!!! Just spent New Year’s Eve 2020(Phantom of the Opera theme) with our friends on the first floor. Photo booth, live singing and performances!!! The “2020 vision” drink was amazing and the music was on point ALL NIGHT!!! We had the most amazing “ring in the new year” experience!
