The place is super beautiful!
Staff is super helpful and nice.
Though, one of the cleanup crew took a plate that we were not done with.
Pizza is good, but the middle is kinda saggy. I personally don't like things falling off.
But overall, our group loved it! Would go again!

This restaurant was recommended by a colleague and I did online reservation. The interior/atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice to see & very interesting. I ordered calamary appetizer, 2 pastas, and a pizza. The calamary was nicely fried & crispy but to me & wife, it was not salty enough and tasted plain. The pastas and pizza were delicious however. My picky kid actually finished half a pizza herself. That shows how good it was. Total damage after tax & tip was about $130.

I visited this spot for brunch on a Sunday morning. 11 AM is the perfect time! It wasn't too crowded yet. The buffet was great! Fried chicken tasted like someone's grandma was in the kitchen frying it in a cast iron skillet. I also had greens, mac & cheese, grits, shrimp and bacon. The waffle was my favorite! Hot off the griddle, it was soft and perfect. The peach mimosa was top notch! Definitely go on the early side though. Food is replenished a lot slower after 12 noon.

Easily accessible and not an issue to be dropped off right in front of the restaurant if you take a cab.
Nice atmosphere and the service was excellent. We were eight and our server was very efficient and attentive!
We all ordered different plates and everyone was happy with their choices. I had the fried calamari which is a must if you enjoy seafood, it was grilled to perfection and served on a bead of salad and house vinaigrette. For the main course I had the spaghetti with seafood which would have much better if the scallops were not overcooked… a big disappointment!
I went with our server personal favorite dessert Butter scotch which was not for me, but the other items on the desserts menu seemed really good.
Worth the detour even if you just have the fried calamari!

A lovely northern Italian restaurant. Lots of options with many of which they were able to make gluten free.
This is by far the best gluten free (corn based) pasta that I have had.
Portions were not the largest, but adequate to satisfy the customer and provide enough flavour.

What a gorgeous hidden spot in the heart of downtown! My wife brought me here to celebrate a key milestone in our lives and this place was just perfect.
Firstly, the staff is extremely courteous and accommodate for varied requests. Starting with table selection, since we were there with our baby boy in a stroller and we requested for patio in our reservation, they took us out to the patio and asked us to choose which table would be most comfortable. We chose the perfect spot with great views and a light breeze. I had to change my baby’s diaper, so when I requested for the baby changing room, he immediately eacorted me to the accessible washroom and brought in a table to ensure I had everything with me to change the diaper. This shows how much they care about the comfort of the customers. Our server would keep checking in on us and would be quick with all our orders and requests.
Secondly, the vibe and the ambience were so comforting that we lost the track of time. I highly recommend the patio, even though while you are arriving, you may think it will be noisy since it is close to Yonge Street but their patio design keeps the area quite silent.
Finally, the food was excellent overall with some opportunities for improvement in their desserts - selection and their sweetness.
Overall, absolutely loved it here and will be back for sure. Thank you team Jump! Keep up your amazing hospitality!

First time at Jump and we had a lovely time. The service was excellent! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed cocktails to start along with the Heritage Beet Salad which was so flavorful! We ordered scallops and lamb. Both were delicious in their own right. We moved over to the bar area to end our night with a few more drinks. Highly recommend Jump!

Summerlicious Experience ☀️
We hit up Jump in the financial district to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday with some friends, and boy, did we have a blast!
Jump was pretty chill for a Saturday night, which was perfect for our celebration. We had a reservation, so getting to our table was a breeze. A couple of friends were fashionably late (thanks, TO traffic! 😉), but the restaurant staff didn’t rush us at all and took our drink orders while we waited.
The appetizers arrived in no time – the Ahi Tuna Ceviche was a refreshing start! For the mains, the linguine with pangrattato was just okay, but the steak? Absolutely divine! It was seasoned nicely and definitely the highlight of the night.
We wrapped up our meal with a delightful peach tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to our evening. 🍑🍮
Service was top-notch! Our server checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a spot to catch up with friends without the loud music, Jump is the place to be ☺️

One of the most reliable lunch spots in the financial district in terms of taste and timing. The portion size is perfect and very robust menu. I’ve been many times and always had a positive experience. I had the catfish again and it was delicious as usual.

Great dining experience for lunch today. The Braided Sausage Rigatoni was very flavourful and Jump’s Classic Peppercorn Steak, was mouth watering. We finished the meal with a delicious white chocolate cheesecake. Of course we were happy to know it was Happy Hour and enjoyed some bevvies as well. Our server did a great job however was not very engaging. Oh well, I’d still recommend going to Jump.

I’m here to share my experience dining in the Canoe restaurant. As my wife has a birthday, I have been booking a table a week ahead. Honestly, it was a long-time idea to visit the restaurant. But I just wanted to make an occasion more appropriate.
Alright, about the Atmosphere: the view and interior are 5/5, and the location and vibe are good.
Service: 5/5 Yes, the waiter was amiable and kind, always trying to do their job well.
Food: 4.5/5. Yeah, it’s just 4.5, and I will tell you why. The food looks excellent, and all elements and textures are high-level, but taste was missing in dishes with protein. Maybe I need to order squab or rabbit for better taste.
Dining time: 2 hours
Dishes: 3 starters, two mains, two desserts
Drinks: 2 cocktails
Bill: $390 before tips, and $450 after tips.
So yeah, if you consider it in this place, be ready to spend.

Amazing!
Amazing views from the 54th floor of the TD building with panoramic views over the Toronto waterfront. We picked a sunny day during sunset, but this was a bonus! The seasonal menu of local produce was concise but offered a delight for most - all, I would suggest! All our dishes were well prepared, presented and, most importantly tasted sublime. Staff were spot on, knowledgeable & welcoming. Highly recommended from these happy diners!

Nice view of Toronto tower as expected. The interior design is very nice as well. But bad point is that it’s super noisy, feels like eating in a bistro. Not romantic at all if busy.
Food is average, I’d say even low for the price (expect minimum 550$ for the tasting menu for 2). Also, it’s pretty hard to understand what we’re eating because the staff accent is strong. They’re nice and helpful tho. That’s a positive point.
I’d recommend you to go a late afternoon for drinks rather than eating there.
Parking is free but not easy to find , and you’ll have to switch elevators as well which should be better indicated .
Overall no regrets but wouldn’t recommend either.

This is a restaurant where the main selling point is the view and the decor. Located on the 54th floor, you get a stunning view of Toronto. You see the TD tower and the CN tower clearly. The view gets even better after dark. This makes it a great place for business functions and if you are looking to impress guests.
The service was also great. Staff was polite, attentive, and took the time to explain each dish.
The food is pretty good. I had better elsewhere, and it is extremely expensive. Not just the price itself, but they give you a much smaller portion than you might expect.
Overall it was a good experience if you know what to expect. Being a big eater, I had to get Chick-fil-A after to feel satiated.

I had my wedding reception dinner here for 30 guests in the private rooms (east and west room). Staff was extremely helpful, courteous and thoughtful (Amanda, the head server, would bring a straw to me for my drinks on her own accord to preserve my lipstick - thanks!). Everything was executed professionally with care and professionalism. Food was delicious. Planning process was easy and clear communication provided - I was actually impressed staff would remember instructions I had provided during the planning process with the event coordinator which means everyone is communicating behind-the-scenes on what my expectations were and ensured they were met. I highly recommend Canoe for any event! Thank you everyone, really made my wedding day special.

Absolutely loved our visit. We stopped for dinner a few days ago. Everything was great, from the service to the food.
Especially I would love to highlight the service- Our server, Kelly, was absolutely awesome!! She constantly checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Her recommendation on a great selection of beers and food was amazing.
Prices are moderate, considering the quality and service. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed my dinner. Ordered the Bay St burger and it was delicious and juicy. A bit on the hot spicy side. Burger had a nice thick slice of bacon! I tried the Fruli beer - loved it! Very fruity which is the type of beer I like. Next time I’ll ask staff to help me pair my beer with my meal. Fishing my meal with the chocolate mouse. Very rich and just the right amount. I’ll definitely be back. And service was perfect. I did go just before the place got filled up. So might be slower service when very busy.

Went with colleagues for some drinks and chat. Sat in the patio. The patio is set by the side street so it’s quiet and nice. Drinks were good, we ordered some finger food, they were just ok. Flatbread looks nice but doesn’t taste as good. In general, it is a nice place to hang out for some social interaction.

**Beer Bistro Review**
Beer Bistro is a delightful spot for anyone who appreciates a good selection of brews and hearty, satisfying food. The ambiance is laid-back yet refined, with a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for both casual hangouts and more formal gatherings.
One of the highlights of Beer Bistro is their impressive beer selection. They offer an array of local and international brews, ensuring that there's something for every palate. During my visit, I opted for the St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, a rich and robust dark beer. The stout was smooth, with a creamy texture and deep flavors of roasted malt, coffee, and hints of chocolate. It paired wonderfully with the food, enhancing the overall dining experience.
The food at Beer Bistro is just as impressive as their beer selection. I started with their fries, served in a tall, stylish cone with a side of ketchup and mustard. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and had a satisfying crunch in every bite. They were a great accompaniment to the stout, balancing out the beer's rich flavors.
For the main course, I had the chicken sandwich, which was served with a side salad. The sandwich featured a crispy, tender chicken breast, topped with fresh lettuce, pickles, and a slice of tomato, all nestled in a soft, slightly toasted bun. The flavors were well-balanced, with the pickles adding a nice tangy contrast to the richness of the chicken. The side salad was fresh and vibrant, with mixed greens, cucumber, and corn, adding a refreshing element to the meal.
Overall, Beer Bistro is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy quality food and an excellent selection of beers. The combination of great service, delicious food, and a wide variety of beers makes it a place worth visiting. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a good meal, Beer Bistro is sure to leave you satisfied.

Amazing place. Staff could be a bit more courteous but not reducing a star for that. The selection of drinks are super amazing and the food tastes extremely good for being pub food. Will surely visit again and put more photos. Don't mistake this cool place for your regular brash Irish pubs. It is much much more cooler and high end.

The food is always amazing here, every time I'm in Toronto I need to visit! Atmosphere is more like a sports bar though as it's very loud and filled with people drinking after work. Myself and my husband couldn't hear each other talking so I wouldn't recommend it for an intimate dinner but the food is always worth putting up with the atmosphere. I've had many different dishes here but the fish and chips are incredible!

Stopped in here for a quick bite (9:30pm), they were busy but overall seated quickly. The server took our order and brought our food within a reasonable time. Food and drinks were ok overall not bad place to stop in for a pint or a quick bite but unsure of their menu choice as they had I believe butter chicken as one of their specials? I could be wrong as it was a few weeks back since I ate there but I know it wasn’t really along that “typical” pub menu which isn’t bad just not expected..overall not bad at all.
Anthony Dee - 5 years ago
They’re kind of expected to have great Guinness and they didn’t disappoint - smooth and crisp.
We had the fish and chips and the crocodile bites. Gotta day, the fish was great but the crocodile bites were amazing! Never thought of trying it before, but I’m glad I did. The crocodile is a lunch special, so you may not see it all the time but it’s definitely worth trying if you do.
Staff was friendly and attentive, but not to a point of being annoying - just enough check in for fresh drinks.
The dining area was clean and the TVs didn’t have their volume cranked which is a nice change. Just enough class for a business lunch without feeling stuffy.

Bar and restaurant geared towards jazz fans. The place has an intimate and minimalist vibe, with low lighting, good service and a good menu. The restaurant focuses on making Martines, but also serves other drinks and wines.
The only thing that leaves a lot to be desired is the acoustics of the venue, which makes it almost impossible to hear the music with the noise of the crowd, and most people go there to drink to their limits.
The venue is well located, close to bus stops and the King subway, and there is paid parking on the street. It is not accessible for wheelchair users or people with other disabilities.

What a cool experience to see great live music and good vibes. Tasty martinis and great singer Danny B.
Danny B puts on a phenomenal show while you sip on your favorite drinks. We even got some food which was good too. We even got to meet Drakes dad Dennis Graham.

Filled a reservation form FOUR times for this establishment and I never got a confirmation call. I was in their neighborhood so went in and they only had standing places which did not work for me as I wanted a great evening listening to Danny B’s jazz covers.
At the door, it’s $15 pp and they only accept cash. They also have an ATM right in the entrance.
Can’t speak on the drinks or food as I didn’t stay but there’s a lot to be said about a restaurant/speakeasy who never picks up their phone nor confirms reservations. They definitely have their customers and unfortunately I’m not one of them.

We drove down from out of town and stumbled across this amazing lounge and speakeasy live band. The vibes were immaculate. Think; Frank Sinatra and Elvis sitting side by side at an ambient 1930s rustic yet modern underground lounge. Much better than their neighbours and actually open! Bouncer was also very dashing and welcoming and towards the end asked if we wanted to stay for the second set. We had no idea a different band would be playing again, however, we had to drive out a long way home so we decided to put a rain check on it for now. This place is very good for couples or second daters who are looking to secure the bag and take their date home. She’ll be all over you if you take her here. I saw it with my own eyes. The energy was incomparable to anything else I’ve ever seen, and trust me when I say this; I’ve travelled to over 20 countries.

The reservation is necessary. They open the door sharply at 7.30 pm so coming before the time makes you wait outside. I loved the dimly lit ambiance from the very first step; very elegant and captivating that enhances the overall experience. The concert was excellent; qood quality classic jazz. Food was marvelous as well. Each dish unfolded its own narrative and design, revealing hidden notes of amazing flavors. A fantastic experience i recommend to all jazz lovers!

I brought a friend for dinner and we had an amazing experience. Our server Hugo was so informative and attentive the entire evening. We ordered the oysters, escargot, and beef carpaccio to start and we were happy with all three.
The real stars of the show for us was the 7oz tenderloin and the lobster that we both ordered to share, wow!
We finished it off with the crème brûlée, which didn’t miss! This is a great French bistro, especially if you’re a steak and lobster lover. I will be back!

My partner and I visited Biff's for an early dinner. We were seated by the window in a somewhat quiet. Our servers were knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. We both started with a glass of prosecco and the Caesar Salad, which was delicious. To me it is a great indication of attention to detail if a restaurant offers a unique Cesar salad that is true to its origin. So definitely order this salad.
My partner had the Coq au vin which he enjoyed. I had the "Normandy" apple-braised pork ribs which are only offered on Leaf's Game Nights. I like to order a dish that I do not prepare at home, and ribs fits this bill. The portion was very generous - served with braised brussels sprouts and crispy fries. Delicious.
We finished with the dark chocolate brownie (hazelnut, Caramel sauce, a scoop of vanilla ice cream) and berry sorbet.
Perhaps the greatest surprise was that we arrived during the Happy Hour and were able to snag a wonderful bottle of Tunuta Cocci Grifoni Pecorino "Tara" at half price. We did not finish the bottle (we'd already had prosecco), so our server happily re-corked the bottle and we carried it home to enjoy the next evening....
All in all, a wonderful meal. The severs and sommelier were super.

Ordered Foie Gras (absolutely divine; all components work amazingly well together), Chicken Liver Parfait (very good portion and taste for the price), Steak Tartare (need to mix the extra mustard that comes with in or it may be a tad bland), Liver and Onions (the rapini was rather bitter...), Canard/duck (same rapini problem), Truite Amandine (great tender fish), and the Basque Cheesecake (made in-house, great whipped cream but the cake itself could be more airy/creamy). Great atmosphere, amazing service, so happy the renovations (and the wait) are finally over. Welcome back!

Had a good experience here, the atmosphere and service was great! The French onion soup was great, but the ratatouille and steak frites left something to be desired, especially considering the price.

Without a doubt one of the best japanese restaurants I've ever been to!
Their menu is focused around sushi and sashimi but there are a lot of cooked dishes as well. Extremely fresh and high quality ingredients are thoughtfully executed here, and its no wonder why this is one of Toronto's oldest sushi joints.
The ingredients are so fresh that I, pleasantly, didn't even recognize the flavors of some fish I often order. The black cod may be the single best cooked fish I've ever tasted and highly recommend!
Service is excellent, and the decor is beautiful. Traditional feeling, yet intimate and cozy! The menu is on the pricier side but it's absolutely worth it, considering quality and execution is better than most other places I've had in the same price range.
Highly, highly recommend!

What a great place. I always feel so welcome there. I always know that I'm in for a treat every time I go there. Perfect non-greasy tempura and excellent fresh fish. Also, the miso soup (don't laugh lol) is amazing - there is a depth of flavour that is not common. Often times at other Japanese restaurants, I reject a miso soup because it's never going to be as good as Nami's

The Sunday Brunch is a must try while you are in Toronto. There are just so many options it is impossible not to please everyone at the table. Everything I ate was really good, but my highlights were the salmon Wellington, the lasagna, the waffle and the pudding. You can try everything and eat as much as you want, which is good since it allows you to explore all different flavors they have to offer. Plus, there’s live music, with an amazing jazz band playing to make the environment even more pleasant.

Long wait for food. I had the spinach salad with grilled chicken (add-on). The chicken was dry, like it was leftover roast chicken that they grilled. 🤔 My father-in-law had the cob salad, and it looked good. I should have had that. Tourist spot, so be prepared to wait a while. Not for working people with only 1 hr for lunch. 😁 Best for after work/before a show, etc. Look at other reviews - other dishes seem to be ok. Would try the pasta next time. Our server was really pleasant; made sure water and coffee refills were done. We sat in the covered patio area. It can get hot out there. Thank you.

The ambience was super cool..!
But food wise .. it's more expensive and tastes average for the amount we are paying..
We juts found a steel dish washing scrubber in pasta they served .. but they just didn't add that in bill..please pay attention while eating!
Their spicy mango margarita and french martini was so good..

If you are looking for a bar with a wide variety of beers, wines, whiskeys and cocktails, this is definitely the place to go. The bar’s layout is incredible, with its entrance reminiscent of old English theaters and cinemas. The lounge has pool tables and board games. The bar area is pleasant and the baristas are great.
They have a great menu, which goes well with many drink options. Unfortunately, the place is not accessible for disabled people (entry and exit with manual doors, use of stairs to enter and exit, and toilets without adaptations).
It is located at several bus stops and close to the St Lawrence Market. It is well worth a visit.

One of my favourite bars in the city! Unassuming and easy to miss if walking by, but definitely worth a stop.
They have a ton of beers on tap along with a good selection of cocktails and other craft cans/bottles. They have 3 pool tables which are pay by the minute and usually has a long wait on weekend evening, but aside from that they're usually available.
While I mostly come here for drinks a pool, their food is delicious too! Typical items you'd expect from a pub menu but executed at a step above most others.
Love the cozy environment, ample seating along with a fire place for those colder winter nights. Service is always friendly and attentive.
Definitely a great date spot or to have some drinks with friends.
Highly recommend!

Loved the food and ambiance of this pub! We had the bison burger and butter chicken on our visit, found both reasonably sized. The butter chicken seemed to be a bit of a fusion with other cuisines that worked well in taste! Will definitely visit again

Love the atmosphere, location, service and especially the meals.
So pleased to have found this nice gem right downtown TO
Walking distance from Union and to Scotiabank arena, get eats & libations before the Leafs game!
