4 Star Rating The place is super beautiful! Staff is super helpful and nice. Though, one of the cleanup crew took a plate that we were not done with. Pizza is good, but the middle is kinda saggy. I personally don't like things falling off. But overall, our group loved it! Would go again!

5 Star Rating This was my first time visiting Terroni, and I really enjoyed it! The ambience, decor, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. For our drinks, we ordered the Senzabrillo (alcohol free mocktail), and the Mandarin infused Italian soda. For our meal, we tried the Grilled Calamari, Lemon Pasta, and Seafood Pasta. Then to top it all off, we ordered the butterscotch pudding and pistachio lava cake. I highly recommend the drinks, appetites, and main courses, however I do warn that the butterscotch pudding was a bit too sweet, and the pistachio lava cake was an interesting concept but could have used more of the ice cream and crumb accompaniments.

5 Star Rating Great spot for a solo lunch out while working downtown. I came in around noon and it wasn't too busy, was sat at a table for two in my own area of the restaurant. Service staff were friendly and attentive, made sure I had everything I needed and water was always topped off without asking. I had the beef carpaccio, the branzino, and the chocolate lava cake to finish it all off and everything was wonderful. I was in and out in under an hour - so I can recommend this to anybody working downtown and looking for an elevated, sit-down lunch on the clock.

2 Star Rating We went here for a night out, there were 5 of us in total. We had reservations but they brought us upstairs to our table past all the action and atmosphere. The room was clearly made for weddings. Always make it clear you do not want to be seated upstairs. It felt like we were in a cheap wedding. We were seated on a literal fold out table with a paper table cloth, my legs were touching the bars the entire night. So uncomfortable, the atmosphere was 1 out of 10. We all hated it. All we could see were coats of other customers and the back room with really bright lights on. $400 bill for mediocre food and a atmosphere that left much to be desired, the service was good, not great but good. Waited a long time to get served and had to ask for more water. It was not worth it, maybe if we were seated in the actual restaurant it would have been better. Extremely disappointing. The photo was the view I had of the table next to me. I could hear the people next to me also saying how much they hated their table. Lesson learned.

4 Star Rating Lovely restaurant with lots of seating. We went there before a concert and they made sure we had lots of time to get to the venue before the start time. Food was wonderful and service was excellent. When filling the restaurant they make sure to seat you away from the others until the tables surrounding you are required. This was a pleasant surprise as it is nice to have some quiet time before all the seats fill up. There is happy hour pricing until 5pm. We had ravioli and focaccia for dinner followed by white chocolate cheesecake and a pear tartan. Dessert was good; I think we were expecting better based on the taste and quality of the mains.

5 Star Rating Fantastic experience hosting my wedding at Jump restaurant. Great experience working with the events team, pricing is clear, and the restaurant staff did an amazing job with the food and service. This is the PERFECT LOCATION for intimate weddings, the restaurant already has good amount of decor (cute lighting and wine cellar back drop) so we didn’t have to decorate a big empty space. We did the wedding ceremony at the cocktail area, which is a separate room from the dining space, the space is very cute and warm, guests get to huddle before the ceremony. After the ceremony, our guests loved the canapés … highly recommend the chicken skewer and calamari. For mains, everyone enjoyed the steak, salmon and mushroom ravioli. The portion sizes are very good. The highlight of the course is the pastry cheese cake, it’s very unique and adds special flavour to the meal. Overall, I highly recommend the space and everyone enjoyed the celebration. Shout out to the events and dining team (Andrea, Jessica etc)

4 Star Rating What a gorgeous hidden spot in the heart of downtown! My wife brought me here to celebrate a key milestone in our lives and this place was just perfect. Firstly, the staff is extremely courteous and accommodate for varied requests. Starting with table selection, since we were there with our baby boy in a stroller and we requested for patio in our reservation, they took us out to the patio and asked us to choose which table would be most comfortable. We chose the perfect spot with great views and a light breeze. I had to change my baby’s diaper, so when I requested for the baby changing room, he immediately eacorted me to the accessible washroom and brought in a table to ensure I had everything with me to change the diaper. This shows how much they care about the comfort of the customers. Our server would keep checking in on us and would be quick with all our orders and requests. Secondly, the vibe and the ambience were so comforting that we lost the track of time. I highly recommend the patio, even though while you are arriving, you may think it will be noisy since it is close to Yonge Street but their patio design keeps the area quite silent. Finally, the food was excellent overall with some opportunities for improvement in their desserts - selection and their sweetness. Overall, absolutely loved it here and will be back for sure. Thank you team Jump! Keep up your amazing hospitality!

5 Star Rating Summerlicious Experience ☀️ We hit up Jump in the financial district to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday with some friends, and boy, did we have a blast! Jump was pretty chill for a Saturday night, which was perfect for our celebration. We had a reservation, so getting to our table was a breeze. A couple of friends were fashionably late (thanks, TO traffic! 😉), but the restaurant staff didn’t rush us at all and took our drink orders while we waited. The appetizers arrived in no time – the Ahi Tuna Ceviche was a refreshing start! For the mains, the linguine with pangrattato was just okay, but the steak? Absolutely divine! It was seasoned nicely and definitely the highlight of the night. We wrapped up our meal with a delightful peach tiramisu, which was the perfect sweet ending to our evening. 🍑🍮 Service was top-notch! Our server checked in on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a spot to catch up with friends without the loud music, Jump is the place to be ☺️

5 Star Rating I always enjoy coming here whether it's for business lunches or taking family out in the city, it always warrants a great experience. The rooftop views and elevated dining make for a memorable meal akin to what you would find in a traditional Michelin-caliber restaurant. The cocktail and wine list is diverse and has something for all pallets. For food, I usually opt for the lamb sirloin and the chocolate mousse dessert. The service staff are knowledgeable, professional, and attentive - always making sure that we had everything we needed. Can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a wow-factor meal or impress somebody special in your life.

4 Star Rating Visited this upscale restaurant for a NYE dinner, and it was a memorable experience. Located on the 54th floor, it offers stunning views of the city. The ambiance is sophisticated, and the staff were attentive, kind, and friendly, making the evening even more enjoyable. The food was great overall, but I felt the vegetarian menu could have been more creative. I’m comparing it to my recent experience I had at a similar restaurant in Amsterdam. Despite that, it was a lovely way to bid farewell to 2024!

5 Star Rating I’m here to share my experience dining in the Canoe restaurant. As my wife has a birthday, I have been booking a table a week ahead. Honestly, it was a long-time idea to visit the restaurant. But I just wanted to make an occasion more appropriate. Alright, about the Atmosphere: the view and interior are 5/5, and the location and vibe are good. Service: 5/5 Yes, the waiter was amiable and kind, always trying to do their job well. Food: 4.5/5. Yeah, it’s just 4.5, and I will tell you why. The food looks excellent, and all elements and textures are high-level, but taste was missing in dishes with protein. Maybe I need to order squab or rabbit for better taste. Dining time: 2 hours Dishes: 3 starters, two mains, two desserts Drinks: 2 cocktails Bill: $390 before tips, and $450 after tips. So yeah, if you consider it in this place, be ready to spend.

5 Star Rating Amazing! Amazing views from the 54th floor of the TD building with panoramic views over the Toronto waterfront. We picked a sunny day during sunset, but this was a bonus! The seasonal menu of local produce was concise but offered a delight for most - all, I would suggest! All our dishes were well prepared, presented and, most importantly tasted sublime. Staff were spot on, knowledgeable & welcoming. Highly recommended from these happy diners!

5 Star Rating I had my wedding reception dinner here for 30 guests in the private rooms (east and west room). Staff was extremely helpful, courteous and thoughtful (Amanda, the head server, would bring a straw to me for my drinks on her own accord to preserve my lipstick - thanks!). Everything was executed professionally with care and professionalism. Food was delicious. Planning process was easy and clear communication provided - I was actually impressed staff would remember instructions I had provided during the planning process with the event coordinator which means everyone is communicating behind-the-scenes on what my expectations were and ensured they were met. I highly recommend Canoe for any event! Thank you everyone, really made my wedding day special.

5 Star Rating A cozy place in downtown Toronto. The atmosphere was great and so the waiter. I really like the concept of the bistro. It Is more a restaurant than a bistro. I would not come for the food only but in combination with the beer it is awesome. The really care about the beer and it is Czech guy approved. I liked the Scottich whiskey barrel aged ale. The foam was superb. Considering we are overseas it was like a miracle!

5 Star Rating **Beer Bistro Review** Beer Bistro is a delightful spot for anyone who appreciates a good selection of brews and hearty, satisfying food. The ambiance is laid-back yet refined, with a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for both casual hangouts and more formal gatherings. One of the highlights of Beer Bistro is their impressive beer selection. They offer an array of local and international brews, ensuring that there's something for every palate. During my visit, I opted for the St. Ambroise Oatmeal Stout, a rich and robust dark beer. The stout was smooth, with a creamy texture and deep flavors of roasted malt, coffee, and hints of chocolate. It paired wonderfully with the food, enhancing the overall dining experience. The food at Beer Bistro is just as impressive as their beer selection. I started with their fries, served in a tall, stylish cone with a side of ketchup and mustard. The fries were crispy, perfectly seasoned, and had a satisfying crunch in every bite. They were a great accompaniment to the stout, balancing out the beer's rich flavors. For the main course, I had the chicken sandwich, which was served with a side salad. The sandwich featured a crispy, tender chicken breast, topped with fresh lettuce, pickles, and a slice of tomato, all nestled in a soft, slightly toasted bun. The flavors were well-balanced, with the pickles adding a nice tangy contrast to the richness of the chicken. The side salad was fresh and vibrant, with mixed greens, cucumber, and corn, adding a refreshing element to the meal. Overall, Beer Bistro is a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy quality food and an excellent selection of beers. The combination of great service, delicious food, and a wide variety of beers makes it a place worth visiting. Whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a good meal, Beer Bistro is sure to leave you satisfied.

4 Star Rating Stopped in here for a quick bite (9:30pm), they were busy but overall seated quickly. The server took our order and brought our food within a reasonable time. Food and drinks were ok overall not bad place to stop in for a pint or a quick bite but unsure of their menu choice as they had I believe butter chicken as one of their specials? I could be wrong as it was a few weeks back since I ate there but I know it wasn’t really along that “typical” pub menu which isn’t bad just not expected..overall not bad at all.

Gotta day, the fish was great but the crocodile bites were amazing! Never thought of trying it before, but I’m glad I did. The crocodile is a lunch special, so you may not see it all the time but it’s definitely worth trying if you do. Staff was friendly and attentive, but not to a point of being annoying - just enough check in for fresh drinks. 5 Star Rating It’s usually hard for me to have a nice birthday in Toronto since I am a winter baby but this was by fair one of the best birthday I have had! There was cover at the door, which makes sense since there’s live music, but coat check was complimentary. We were seated at a booth near the front next to the sweetest women. We ordered some appetizers and drinks since we were there for a night out. The food was phenomenal and so were the drinks. We were able to leave our table to dance and it was safe for us to leave our belongings at the table. The atmosphere was amazing: moody lighting and live music. I believe Queen Pepper was playing that night - amazing stage presence! We met so many interesting people and had fun conversations. The woman next to us had told the server that it was my birthday and the server brought out a slice of cake with a candle! We also got complimentary lemon drops! Overall amazing service and vibe. Regardless, you can hear the music perfectly from wherever you sit! Drinks are good!! We got the strawberry coconut martini, wine, and a lychee mocktail. We ordered the seared tuna tataki (drowned it in an over bearing sauce that I had to scrape it off). Their Quattro pizza was just okay. Creme brulee was good except the sugar was too burnt for 1/2 the dish that I was removing it & just eating the cream portion. Would come back again as they have different artists playing each day!

4 Star Rating Bar and restaurant geared towards jazz fans. The place has an intimate and minimalist vibe, with low lighting, good service and a good menu. The restaurant focuses on making Martines, but also serves other drinks and wines. The only thing that leaves a lot to be desired is the acoustics of the venue, which makes it almost impossible to hear the music with the noise of the crowd, and most people go there to drink to their limits. The venue is well located, close to bus stops and the King subway, and there is paid parking on the street. It is not accessible for wheelchair users or people with other disabilities.

5 Star Rating Without a doubt one of the best japanese restaurants I've ever been to! Their menu is focused around sushi and sashimi but there are a lot of cooked dishes as well. Extremely fresh and high quality ingredients are thoughtfully executed here, and its no wonder why this is one of Toronto's oldest sushi joints. The ingredients are so fresh that I, pleasantly, didn't even recognize the flavors of some fish I often order. The black cod may be the single best cooked fish I've ever tasted and highly recommend! Service is excellent, and the decor is beautiful. Traditional feeling, yet intimate and cozy! The menu is on the pricier side but it's absolutely worth it, considering quality and execution is better than most other places I've had in the same price range. Highly, highly recommend!

5 Star Rating This place has a vaste variety of items in their menu. Everything was incredible and even though it was pricy it was well worth it. Service was ok but if can be better since the place was quiet but the server kept forgetting about us. We were four and spent about 500$ in total.

5 Star Rating Went to the Sunday buffet The food were great! The bread pudding were very delicious, and the jerk chicken were also among the best I have ever had. I also love the chicken sausage and the cookies. I went very early and there weren’t a lot of people, but it was getting crowded after 11:20am. The waiters were very polite and passionate, and they took away empty plates very quickly. Very great buffet for 30$

4 Star Rating I recently had the pleasure of visiting Hothouse with a few friends for breakfast, and I have to say it was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern atmosphere that made us feel comfortable from the moment we walked in. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our meal. They were quick to guide us to our table and ensured we had everything we needed without being intrusive. The breakfast buffet at Hothouse is definitely worth mentioning. It featured an impressive variety of dishes, catering to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preferences. I particularly enjoyed the wide selection of non-veg items, which included everything from savory sausages and eggs to grilled meats and fresh seafood. There was something for everyone, whether you were in the mood for a hearty meal or something lighter. The buffet also had a great selection of fresh fruits, which were perfect for balancing out the richer dishes. Additionally, there was a fantastic array of desserts, including pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats that were just the right amount of indulgent. Everything was well-prepared and fresh, showing attention to detail in both taste and presentation. Overall, Hothouse provided a wonderful breakfast experience. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere made it a great place to start the day with friends. Whether you’re a fan of traditional breakfast items or looking to try something different, Hothouse offers a little bit of everything. I’d definitely recommend it and look forward to visiting again in the future.

5 Star Rating I went to Hot House with the family and had a fantastic meal! I started with the calamari, and it was perfectly cooked, and came with a spicy aioli. For my main, I went with the mushroom gnocchi, and it was incredible. The sauce was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. It felt like such a comforting dish, perfect for a cozy dinner. The overall ambiance of the place was very upscale laid back.

4 Star Rating We had a great experience at this restaurant! The breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of good options to choose from. We originally thought they had a brunch buffet every day, but it turns out they only offer it on Sundays. Still, their regular breakfast menu did not disappoint! The Eggs Benedict was excellent, and the pancakes were huge and very high quality. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. The only small downside was that the service felt a bit rushed, but overall, it was a wonderful meal. We would definitely come back!

4 Star Rating We were here for dinner after a concert at the Scotiabank arena. The food is a reasonable price and it's a 7 min walk away. The restaurant was decorated nicely for the holidays. We ordered mock tails (the Arnold palmer and the no alcohol rose) as well as the daily soup as an appetizer. The drinks were not overly sweet which was great and they were large for the price. The soup was flavourful with the slight taste of maple to round out the flavour. The next set of food took over an hour to arrive! We watched another family walk out of the restaurant due to the extraordinary wait. Our server was very nice and apologetic. She offered us free bread during the long wait. The manager also noticed and went to the kitchen to check on our food. He popped out about 10 min later with two dishes and another five minutes for the other two dishes. In recompense for the slow food service they offered us dessert on the house. When we ordered two sticky toffee puddings they actually offered to comp us both desserts! For the food, the cheese capaletti was good but not amazing. I had the warm mushroom on arugula salad with chicken. The chicken was generously large and cooked to perfection and paired fabulously with the salad. Everything that was supposed to be served hot was, which was a pleasant surprise. The sticky toffee pudding was good but not the best I've had in Toronto. It follows more of a cake consistency as opposed to the traditional way to make sticky toffee pudding in a round pan. It was topped with a mint leaf and blueberry as opposed to the classic whipped cream. We asked the staff if someone called out sick and it turns out the restaurant had simply understaffed for the unique two shows in one day that Scotiabank arena was hosting that night and did not expect the restaurant to be so busy with the double sitting (pre and post concert attendees). Overall I have been here many times and I think this restaurant is really well organized. It ducks they didn't know about the Double header concert but the waitress really kept her cool and I applaud the manager for getting his hands dirty and helping staff out when the going got tough. They made a bad experience into something much more manageable. I will return here in the future for sure.

5 Star Rating If you are looking for a bar with a wide variety of beers, wines, whiskeys and cocktails, this is definitely the place to go. The bar’s layout is incredible, with its entrance reminiscent of old English theaters and cinemas. The lounge has pool tables and board games. The bar area is pleasant and the baristas are great. They have a great menu, which goes well with many drink options. Unfortunately, the place is not accessible for disabled people (entry and exit with manual doors, use of stairs to enter and exit, and toilets without adaptations). It is located at several bus stops and close to the St Lawrence Market. It is well worth a visit.

5 Star Rating I recently attended a team Christmas party at C’est What in Toronto and had an amazing experience. The appetizers, including potato and vegetable fritters and nachos with salsa dip, were delicious and perfect for sharing. The highlight of my meal was the lamb burger, which was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambiance of the venue was warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a group gathering. We had a private space reserved, which added a nice touch of exclusivity to the event. The service was quick and efficient, and our server was incredibly friendly, ensuring that everyone was well taken care of throughout the evening. C’est What offers a great combination of good food, a cozy atmosphere, and attentive service. It’s a fantastic place for casual dining or hosting a special occasion. Highly recommended for a memorable experience in downtown Toronto!

5 Star Rating One of my favourite bars in the city! Unassuming and easy to miss if walking by, but definitely worth a stop. They have a ton of beers on tap along with a good selection of cocktails and other craft cans/bottles. They have 3 pool tables which are pay by the minute and usually has a long wait on weekend evening, but aside from that they're usually available. While I mostly come here for drinks a pool, their food is delicious too! Typical items you'd expect from a pub menu but executed at a step above most others. Love the cozy environment, ample seating along with a fire place for those colder winter nights. Service is always friendly and attentive. Definitely a great date spot or to have some drinks with friends. Highly recommend!
