Good food but didn't liked one policy of not serving free water. Ambience is average. Although food is yummy & new concept, can be improved more with premium ingredients though!

My favourite East Indian style roti spot in Toronto. Everything is made fresh to order and worth the wait for the food. Perfect place for spicy food lovers and been coming here since their old ownership. The vindaloo is always a favourite of mine but, they have many great options. Gets busy so better to call in your orders if you can!

Ordered the medium-hot chicken tikka and it was very flavourful and perfect amount of spice. Still one of the best places to get Indian roti in Toronto.

Amazing roti. The chicken korma is to die for. Make sure to get it spicy. I could eat one every day!

Roti Cuisine Of India in Toronto, is a pretty decent Indian restaurant. A small and neat restaurant, and very affordable, considering its location. Looks like they are known for roti and curry more than anything, because I spoke to a European couple that specifically spoke about the roti/curry combination and they often come here. Vegan, vegetarian and non-vegetatrian dishes, appetizers, biriyani, and beer are available. I was here for lunch, had a couple beers with Onion Pakoda. Also ordered Aloo Gobi roti and mutter paneer rice. The food was very fresh, tasty but felt the quantity was more for me and too much curry in both the dishes. Overall it was a pretty good experience.

I went there last month when I visited Toronto. The food was good and fresh but they don't serve any hot drinks. It was snowing on that day so I wanted to have a hot drink but unfortunately they don't. Probably they can consider having it as an option since in Asia it is common to have both. The staff was good and the place was well maintained.

I had a fantastic experience at Subway Dupont. The restaurant was clean, well-organized, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff, led by their team leader Shara, went above and beyond to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. They were friendly, efficient and took the time to suggest delicious combinations of my sandwiches. Everything was fresh and the sandwiches was perfectly made. I really appreciate the attention to detail and excellent customer service. Will definitely be back soon...

I want to highlight the exceptional customer service at this Subway location. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and satisfied with our experience. The restaurant itself was spotless, and the employees were incredibly patient as my friends and I deliberated over our order. We were so impressed that we are already looking forward to returning. This particular Subway location is, without a doubt, one of the best we've ever been to. Thank you so much.

We were excited to try the famous General Tao pizza after hearing so much about it. Although some reviews made us worry it might be overrated, we found it to be fairly well-rated overall. It’s not a pizza you’d “die for,” but it’s definitely something fun and unique to try.
We ordered the medium size, which turned out to be a bit too large for two people, especially since we planned to eat somewhere else afterward. If you’re just looking to sample the pizza, I’d recommend starting with a small. If you love it, you can always return for more!
As for the pizza itself, it’s good, but not the best pizza you’ll ever have. The General Tao chicken works well on top, though it’s essentially sweet and sour chicken. Just keep in mind that there isn’t much chicken on the pizza — most of it is fried batter tossed in the sauce. While the taste is still enjoyable, the chicken can be a bit messy and might stain your fingers, so be prepared for that.
On the positive side, the owners are incredibly sweet and provide excellent service. The seating is limited, but I think it adds to the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the place.

Growing up eating Chinese food in New York I had to try this once I came to Toronto. This is a Chinese and Italian fusion restaurant. Ran by 2 lovely elderly Chinese people. They showed me and my family hospitality. The dining area is relatively small but does the job. I came for the general tsos chicken pizza and it did not disappoint. The general tsos chicken was piping hot that’s how I knew it was fresh. They also incorporate peppers in there to enhance the flavor. This pizza is so good. I don’t know how it’s possible but I was able to enjoy my love for both pizza and Chinese food. This spot is a MUST TRY if you’re in Toronto.

I had walked by this business a couple of times and was always intrigued. I finally got the opportunity to eat here and it definitely won’t be my last visit. Let me tell you why Martino’s is worth the stop!
Food: I was originally interested in the Asian Fusion pizzas. As you can see from the other reviews, they are a fan favorite! You can tell from the photos that they are very flavorful and unique. I decided to just get a slice of the Naples Margherita and I am so happy I did. The sauce was rich and savory. The way they heated up the slice was also perfect! I also love the variety of dishes they have: from traditional Asian eats to fusion pizzas to Italian pastas, there is something for everyone here!
Staff: The workers here are so nice and I had a very pleasant experience with them! The person at the front was kind while answering my questions and attending to other customers.
Space: There is limited seating here so keep that in mind! I came at around 7:20 and there was a good amount of seats available (3/5). This is something to keep in mind if you want to bring a big group. I also noticed that customers like to order takeout from here! The menus are easy to read and I appreciate that they had photos of their dishes up. They also have very cute figurines in front of the cash register and I thought that was a charming touch!
Pricing: The cost of their food is very reasonable! I got my pizza slice for $5.10 plus tax (it was basically two slices). I found it super filling; consider the taste and quality, it is great value!
Martino’s is an eatery with tons of character! I have friends who have expressed much love for this business and I believe that appreciation is deserved. If you want to try something new or indulge in a classic, Martino’s is a wonderful spot to go to!

The pizzas are one of the best in the town. My 100% go to place for a slice of pizzas on a regular day. The service is good too but little cold dine in area as is right next to the door , although is well ventilated. The tables are most of the time clean and tidy. Not too busy too on week days.

The meat was flavorful and well-prepared, but the overall cleanliness could use improvement. The tables and floors were quite greasy, and the toilets could be much cleaner. While I enjoyed the food, I’d consider visiting a different branch next time.

Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! We ordered beef back ribs, pulled beef sandwich, and their signature beef burger. The meat was really soft and tender. Mouthwatering is an understatement to describe their dishes. Staff were super friendly and received a generous tip. Restaurant looked small from the outside but spacious internally, wonderful atmosphere really. Overall, had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

My family and I are in awe. Literally some of the best halal food in the gta. Please get the brisket Mac and cheese. Everyone tried it at my table and we all agreed that was the best item. The chicken Mac and cheese is also 10/10.
The pulled beef sandwich was amazing. The bun was so soft and buttery and the meat was so tender. I would go out of my way to come here again.

Had an amazing experience at the backyard smokehouse. I tried their brisket with mac n cheese and curly fries, nashville chicken wings and their mango strawberry drink( I don't exactly remember the name) it was the best! Never had mac n cheese so good at any other place. Chicken wings were really spicy and flavorful. The brisket had I really nice smokey taste it was cooked well. The only thing I would mention about the brisket is too dry so they should work on that.
Also to mention their staff really polite n helpful
Will visit again very soon ❤️

Food was better than expected after being nervous about previous reviews. Ordered the ribyard burger, pulled beef burger, brisket poutine, strawberry soda, and mango strawberry lemonade. Side of sweet potatoe fries was delicious and the poutine was a great shareable! Mango strawberry lemonade was by far the most delicious thing i tried, with the burgers being a bit lacking in seasoning..

We went there for a drink and ordered a pitcher of beer with fries. The beer was excellent, but the fries were too salty. We mentioned it to our waitress, and she promptly had them replaced with a new batch that was just right. We chose to sit on the patio, which was cozy and lovely. Overall, we had a great time!

The best part of the experience was the service, our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered Vegetarian Feast and a chicken shawarma. The Vegetarian feast $150 did look big but it was because it came with 6 dips which took up a lot table space, the smashed cucumber dressing was very sour and the roasted vegetables was mostly red onion. The fried eggplant was nice, crunchy and tasty, my personal favourite out of all the items included in the Feast. The chicken shawarma looked small for something over $30. Overall, food was okay but the price seems high.

I came with high expectations, which was my mistake. Most of the restaurants in the area are pretty decent, and I get carried away by that. I won't be too harsh in the review since they were an hour away from closing and skimmed quite busy, but it is a factor to consider in the quality they can offer.
I was very disappointed since a simple cheeseburger was drowned in the house sauce, which is delicious, but it didn't let me taste the vegetables and cheese. The meat was tasty, but my accompaniment of onion rings was drowned—fat and a little salty for my palate. The service was excellent; I can't complain about the servers. But I expected more due to the high cost of the products.
Giving them another try? I don't think so.

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant with my family! We enjoyed a delicious dinner on a Wednesday night. Their decor and ambiance is fun, yet very cozy and welcoming.
We had their Calamari to start; it was crispy and well seasoned! For our mains, we had their Lobster Ravioli and Island Carnivore Pizza.. both were flavourful and delicious. Their Biscoff Sundae was the perfect treat for dessert; the vanilla ice cream was creamy and rich which paired very well with the strawberries and Biscoff cookies!
Customer service was also wonderful! Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for Italian-American comfort food in the Annex neighbourhood! However do note that there are multiple steps and stairs around the restaurant so it may not be accessible for everyone.

I had a very nice time at Stella’s kitchen, this week. I went for an early dinner on a Wednesday and although it wasn’t too busy at that time, I appreciated the spaciousness and decor of the restaurant. We sat on the back patio which has a very nice ambience. The added touch of the coloured umbrellas is really welcoming. The decor and pictures present as somewhat of a “retro” vibe which instantly gives the impression of having a lot of history. I had a non-alcoholic beverage (watermelon nojitios) which was delicious. I ordered the vegetarian pasta (gluten-free), and my friend ordered a pizza which was tasty and a generous period. We ended with some dessert, soft-serve ice cream which was also delicious. Overall, I had a very nice time and would recommend this place for big groups or even a date.

Great atmosphere, delicious eats and friendly and attentive staff. Perfect spot for a large gathering or date night. Ordered the the Shroom pizza and eggplant Parmesan served on spaghetti with their classic tomato sauce. The parm was incredible, cooked to perfection. Sugo to die for, nice and garlicky. Pizza dough was incredible, chewy and thin. Sauce could have had more of a punch, flavour was a bit lacking. Would try a tomato based pizza. Thanks for taking care of us, Kat!

My friend and I passed by here to grab some lunch. At first I was concerned by the conditional pass on the window, but I was hoping by that time they would get their act together and get the green. The interior is pretty nice and the chairs were comfortable.
What we ordered:
Burrata Caprese
Shrimp Scampi
Chicken parm with pesto cream pasta
Burrata - a little bit disappointing. Wish they had some bread to eat with it and the olive oil was a bit underwhelming. Definitely could be more flavourful.
Shrimp Scampi - I definitely enjoyed it, a good amount of shrimp and pasta.
Chicken parm - my friend has this dish and she really enjoyed it. I tried a piece of chicken and thought it was really good. The pesto pasta was definitely the right option for this dish.
Also, we asked for chili oil and chili flakes on the side. The chili oil wasn’t that great? Not even spicy.. which I thought was weird. Really lack lustre.
I really wanted to love this place, but I think a few things fell flat. The food was decent, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to return. Italian restaurants are a dime a dozen in the city and there are better options. Service was a bit slow in the beginning and a few items we asked for were forgotten. Maybe add some fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic to the menu?

I found Louf while looking for Palestinian businesses to support, and am I glad my beloved and I came here for a truly memorable date night.
We were welcomed by Dominique as if we were coming over to someone’s home. Warm, inviting, friendly vibes. The best part? No one was rushing us, which is an issue we encounter often at eateries in Toronto. Here, we were treated like guests in a home, and were allowed to take our time.
Farhan’s managerial skills are beyond supreme. Both he and our server Hossein made the experience absolutely incredible.
The food courses were so well-paced, the conversations delightful and the ingredients fresh, delicious and popping with flavour in every bite. We tried Labneh, Patè, Lamb, chickpeas and every dish was elevated, modern, yet also traditional. The presentation was beautiful, the dishes were gorgeous and the glasses passed the scent test, a testament to impeccable and immaculate hygiene practices visible throughout the restaurant.
Even though we were quite full from the appetizers and mains we could not leave without trying the cloudy, gooey, delicious milk ice cream and mouth-watering date cake that instantly transported me to travels in the Middle East. We finished off with a frothy, creamy cappuccino server in a stunning ceramic cup, a true work of art.
Chef Fadi Kattan has done an outstanding job with Louf and we will most certainly be back to try their famous brunch everyone in our circles is ranting and raving about. Signed copies of Chef’s books “Bethlehem” are available on site and I picked up a copy to treat myself over the holidays.
What a gorgeous, unforgettable night. We are so fortunate to have a place like Louf in Toronto. A true gem in our diverse culinary scene.

Nestled between the snow covered streets of Davenport, near Casa Loma, lies louf, a hidden gem that brings the rich flavours of Palestinian cuisine to Toronto. Established by Chef Fadi Kattan, louf offers a modern interpretation of traditional dishes, creating a dining experience that is both authentic and innovative.
The vibe is warm and inviting, with a lot of natural light during the day and a gorgeous ambiance which emanates the transformational feels - entering Chef Fadi's domain; a sense of home and warm hospitality abound.
The menu at louf is a testament to Chef Kattan’s dedication to proudly showcasing Palestine’s rich culinary heritage.
The green olives are from Palestine. The Labansh was perfectly seasoned with Sumac and served with fresh micro greens. The Kibbeh Nayyeh and Dajjaj Pate were extraordinary. A true standout is the Mozet Kharouf Bil Laban Jameed. Tender, slow-braised lamb shank served on top of crispy pistachios and yogurt.
The sommelier and staff are knowledgeable, attentive and perfectly paced. Special shoutout goes to Farhan for the warm reception and to Hossein AND Dominique for the incredible service.
louf also serves brunch, a perfect reason to plan a return visit. Highly recommend and I will be back!

Dining at Louf was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Nicole, the co-founder, who was standing outside with the warmest smile, welcoming us as if into her own home. Her genuine hospitality set the tone for a beautiful evening that unfolded inside this exceptional Palestinian restaurant.
The menu was an exciting journey through bold flavors, spiced to perfection. The oysters were paired with a crisp white wine, which highlighted their briny freshness, while a robust red brought out the depth of the lahmeh’s flavors.
Next, the mains were both comforting and refined. The maftool was hearty yet vibrant, perfectly balanced with warm spices and textures. Beside it, the beef stew topped with pomegranate seeds was a revelation—deeply rich yet sweetly tangy. The pairing of these dishes with a smooth, medium-bodied red was a stroke of genius, enhancing their complexity.
For dessert, we were presented with a chocolate and Palestinian dates cake—a perfect pairing that I never imagined could exist!
The atmosphere at Louf was as impeccable as the food: warm lighting, earthy tones, and thoughtfully curated details that invited you to savor not just the flavors but the experience itself.
Louf is not just a meal—it’s a celebration of culture, flavor, and the kind of hospitality that lingers long after the last bite. This is a dining experience we won’t soon forget, and we can’t wait to return!
