My favourite place in the city! We eat here alllll the time everything is always so delicious and perfect. Omg I can’t even think about it without wanting it immediately. Favs: chicken curry roti, shrimp biryani, tofu biryani, papri chat, samosas. I hardly have pictures from here despite eating there probably like 30 times bc I just devour it ! We get spicy and it’s spicy!

Good food but didn't liked one policy of not serving free water. Ambience is average. Although food is yummy & new concept, can be improved more with premium ingredients though!

I usually order the lamb biryani online but I decided to go in today for a very very spicy chicken curry roti. And let me tell you! I was not disappointed! 11/10 would recommend one of the best rotis I’ve ever had (I’m West Indian)

My favourite East Indian style roti spot in Toronto. Everything is made fresh to order and worth the wait for the food. Perfect place for spicy food lovers and been coming here since their old ownership. The vindaloo is always a favourite of mine but, they have many great options. Gets busy so better to call in your orders if you can!

Ordered the medium-hot chicken tikka and it was very flavourful and perfect amount of spice. Still one of the best places to get Indian roti in Toronto.

I got the chicken teriyaki sandwich with avocado spread, as well as a cookie on the side. The staff member who took my order was friendly and very generous with the amount of toppings.

I had a great experience at the Subway near Dupont Station, thanks to Liza! She was incredibly friendly, fast, and made my sandwich exactly how I wanted it. Her positive attitude made my visit enjoyable. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile, and she goes above and beyond to ensure great customer service. I’ll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend this location, especially if Liza is working.

Until now, the best Tim Hortons
Their food isn't the only thing that makes our day, there's some other stuff too, especially their hospitality and quality serving. Another thing I like is the staff's behavior. Thanks to Ms Shima for her warm welcome, and once again thanks to everyone at the restaurant for understanding your customers and valuing them. I really enjoyed it and it makes my day.

Good food & Good people !
I just visited Tim Hortons and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! There was great flavor in the sandwiches – definitely a treat for any foodie. The coffee was perfectly brewed, with a rich taste that complemented the meal beautifully. It was really the friendly and welcoming staff, especially Ms Shima, who enhanced the whole experience with their attentive and warm service. Highly recommended if you want a great meal with a cozy atmosphere.

Tim Hortons nearby the downtown area, good food, great service. Because of the location, I saw it is crowded many times but the team put their best effort to get the orders done quickly. I have ordered from here many times, have no issues and really appreciate the team to get my items in order.

A Fusion of Flavors with a Cool Vibe
Walking into Martino Pizza & Asian Fusion Kitchen, I was immediately struck by the cool, laid-back vibe that this place exudes. It's not just a restaurant; it's an experience, blending the comfort of a local pizza joint with the intrigue of Asian cuisine. The setting, with its urban charm visible through the large windows, makes for a perfect backdrop to enjoy your meal.
The food here was genuinely nice, offering a diverse menu that caters to various tastes. However, the star of the show for me was undoubtedly the General Tao Pizza. This unique fusion dish was a delightful surprise; the crispy crust was a canvas for the sweet and spicy General Tao sauce, topped with pieces of chicken that brought an authentic taste of Asian cuisine to an Italian classic. While the pizza flavor was slightly overpowered by the bold General Tao sauce, this fusion worked wonderfully, creating a harmonious balance that was both familiar and exciting.
The service was friendly and efficient, adding to the overall pleasant experience. The pricing is reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the unique offerings, ranging from $10 to $20, which makes it accessible without compromising on the experience.
If you're in Toronto and looking for a place where you can enjoy a cool atmosphere while indulging in some innovative fusion cuisine, Martino Pizza & Asian Fusion Kitchen is definitely worth a visit. Just be prepared for the General Tao Pizza to take your taste buds on an unexpected yet delightful journey.

We were excited to try the famous General Tao pizza after hearing so much about it. Although some reviews made us worry it might be overrated, we found it to be fairly well-rated overall. It’s not a pizza you’d “die for,” but it’s definitely something fun and unique to try.
We ordered the medium size, which turned out to be a bit too large for two people, especially since we planned to eat somewhere else afterward. If you’re just looking to sample the pizza, I’d recommend starting with a small. If you love it, you can always return for more!
As for the pizza itself, it’s good, but not the best pizza you’ll ever have. The General Tao chicken works well on top, though it’s essentially sweet and sour chicken. Just keep in mind that there isn’t much chicken on the pizza — most of it is fried batter tossed in the sauce. While the taste is still enjoyable, the chicken can be a bit messy and might stain your fingers, so be prepared for that.
On the positive side, the owners are incredibly sweet and provide excellent service. The seating is limited, but I think it adds to the cozy and intimate atmosphere of the place.

Growing up eating Chinese food in New York I had to try this once I came to Toronto. This is a Chinese and Italian fusion restaurant. Ran by 2 lovely elderly Chinese people. They showed me and my family hospitality. The dining area is relatively small but does the job. I came for the general tsos chicken pizza and it did not disappoint. The general tsos chicken was piping hot that’s how I knew it was fresh. They also incorporate peppers in there to enhance the flavor. This pizza is so good. I don’t know how it’s possible but I was able to enjoy my love for both pizza and Chinese food. This spot is a MUST TRY if you’re in Toronto.

The meat was flavorful and well-prepared, but the overall cleanliness could use improvement. The tables and floors were quite greasy, and the toilets could be much cleaner. While I enjoyed the food, I’d consider visiting a different branch next time.

Great food! Great service! Great atmosphere! We ordered beef back ribs, pulled beef sandwich, and their signature beef burger. The meat was really soft and tender. Mouthwatering is an understatement to describe their dishes. Staff were super friendly and received a generous tip. Restaurant looked small from the outside but spacious internally, wonderful atmosphere really. Overall, had an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to friends and family!

I don't understand why this restaurant only has 4.2 stars in Google reviews. We visited Casa Loma, and after walking a lot in the castle, we were looking for a good place to eat. We walked towards the metro line, and I saw this restaurant on Google Maps. We decided to enter since we were starving, and what a pleasant surprise! The food was excellent, everything was so flavourful! It is also a fantastic place to go with friends since they have big plates to share. We were a party of 6 people, and we asked for a three-person meal, and it was more than enough food! It's a place I would recommend giving a chance to. The service was okay, fast, and very polite. It was nothing out of the ordinary, but it was good.

Had an amazing experience at the backyard smokehouse. I tried their brisket with mac n cheese and curly fries, nashville chicken wings and their mango strawberry drink( I don't exactly remember the name) it was the best! Never had mac n cheese so good at any other place. Chicken wings were really spicy and flavorful. The brisket had I really nice smokey taste it was cooked well. The only thing I would mention about the brisket is too dry so they should work on that.
Also to mention their staff really polite n helpful
Will visit again very soon ❤️

I came with high expectations, which was my mistake. Most of the restaurants in the area are pretty decent, and I get carried away by that. I won't be too harsh in the review since they were an hour away from closing and skimmed quite busy, but it is a factor to consider in the quality they can offer.
I was very disappointed since a simple cheeseburger was drowned in the house sauce, which is delicious, but it didn't let me taste the vegetables and cheese. The meat was tasty, but my accompaniment of onion rings was drowned—fat and a little salty for my palate. The service was excellent; I can't complain about the servers. But I expected more due to the high cost of the products.
Giving them another try? I don't think so.

This place has the most delicious Italian food I’ve had in a very long time. My Peach Bellini was amazing too! Shania was so kind and her service was top-notch. I’d definitely stop by here again.

Been here a few times and it’s been a little hit or miss but generally good food and great value. The burrata salad with pesto and tomato was great the first time and good the second time. Meatballs were good! The minestrone is so delish and fresh and the veggies are cut really nice and small. but the pizza dough lacks flavour which is a shame bc the texture is spot on!! We got the sausage pizza and it was bland which says something for sausage. The cannolis were delish. My niece got the chicken fingers and they were really overdone. They have great happy hour and weekly deals so I’ll probably go back then.
Sarah Hanlon - a month ago
Rather disappointing experience given the high ratings. Ordered the funghi pasta, margherita pizza, stella burger, parmesan house fries. The funghi pasta tasted very starchy and left a starchy aftertaste in my mouth that overpowered any mushroom that may have been present. You can probably summarize the taste of the rest of the dishes as simply mediocre. Pretty much the only thing that wasn't a disappointment and tasted like something was the burger and the fries, but the fries have no business being that expensive for literally a handful of fries.
Service was acceptable, but food did come delayed. There's a pizza oven in the front, that's cool.
In conclusion, there is room for improvement.

Had a lovely experience at this restaurant with my family! We enjoyed a delicious dinner on a Wednesday night. Their decor and ambiance is fun, yet very cozy and welcoming.
We had their Calamari to start; it was crispy and well seasoned! For our mains, we had their Lobster Ravioli and Island Carnivore Pizza.. both were flavourful and delicious. Their Biscoff Sundae was the perfect treat for dessert; the vanilla ice cream was creamy and rich which paired very well with the strawberries and Biscoff cookies!
Customer service was also wonderful! Overall, I would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for Italian-American comfort food in the Annex neighbourhood! However do note that there are multiple steps and stairs around the restaurant so it may not be accessible for everyone.

Great atmosphere, delicious eats and friendly and attentive staff. Perfect spot for a large gathering or date night. Ordered the the Shroom pizza and eggplant Parmesan served on spaghetti with their classic tomato sauce. The parm was incredible, cooked to perfection. Sugo to die for, nice and garlicky. Pizza dough was incredible, chewy and thin. Sauce could have had more of a punch, flavour was a bit lacking. Would try a tomato based pizza. Thanks for taking care of us, Kat!

I'm big on flavor & freshness & unfortunately the day me & my sister were I'm.. it just wasn't it.
The tortilla & guacamole was great but I don't even eat meat & I broke it to try the Birria taco & the lamb was unfortunately dry & lacked flavor because it dried out so much. The dip it comes with tasted more of a tasteless beef broth & I didn't love it. The fish tacos were better, but I was not reminded of being in Mexico or at my friends mom's where they use rich bold Mexican flavors!
There were only 2 girls working & they were chatting a bunch lol.
I love my food, big flavors & spice, so maybe it was just a off day, next time! ✨️
Cute spot though, was still nice to have a cold beer!

Amazing place. Staff is very professional and friendly. The fish tacos are very good and they are very generous with the portions unlike other Mexican food places.
Additionally, they provide 3 free sauces for everybody and they are very good (esp the Salsa Verde)

Louf took me to travel to the Levantine area and forget about the dirty snowbank outside in winter Toronto for 1.5 hrs. We opted for a $60 lunch set menu which would limit us to a quick 45-minute lunch, however, we ended up enjoying a slow lunch for a longer period with no issues.
Both taboun & zaatar bread were either made from rye, spelt, or a mixture of regular flour & whole wheat which was so different from bread options at other restaurants. Tasted so healthy and not oily at all.
Simple fermented chili condiments were great for spicy chili lovers like me, I thought it was such a brave choice to add that to the set menu though. Green olives that were also part of the set menu condiments were very delish! They were small, firmer, and had just the right amount of saltiness.
A star of the show was red lentil soup though. Not sure how without chicken stock, this vegan soup had so much flavor. It was very very good. Olive oil drizzle also added a silky texture and I loved the lemony taste after.
When I thought two pieces of bread and a bowl of soup could have been just enough for lunch, the main dishes were served.
Well.. I could always make extra room for the main course.
By the way, the service was very attentive. The serving staff gave us enough time to finish the course by course, yet checked on us to clear the table. It was neither rushed nor slow.
The only meat dish of the day was the main dish, beef stew( Yakhini) with tamarind sauce, pomegranate molasses, & pomegranate. Very different than your ordinary beef stew. The meat was in between tender and chewy which I liked, the sauce had a bit of acidity and sweetness, that made heavy meat dishes to be balanced summer dishes.
Tried the other option for the main dish, a vegan flaky phyllo pastry, filled with spiced "freekeh" grains, dried raisins & apricots & almonds on top. The combination of grain, dried fruit, and nuts in flaky pastry was so much fun to eat.
The finale was sage ice cream from Nablus Creamery ( I believe they make Arabic-style ice cream). The texture was stickier and stretchy, later on, I learned from Google research that they add natural mastic gum to hold ice cream from hot weather that was why. Cool.
Lastly, did I know that this restaurant follows NO tip policy? No, I was not aware. Imagine my face when was looking at the credit card terminal with no tip option.
It was a pleasant lunch dining experience.

I was excited to try Louf and support a new Palestinian spot in Toronto, but I left feeling a bit mixed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the flavors are definitely there, but the portions were tiny—especially for the price. Coming from an Arab background, I expected the generous, abundant feel that’s so central to our food culture, but this felt more like upscale tapas with a steep price tag.
While I appreciate the modern twist and the effort to bring Palestinian cuisine to the city in a unique way, it just didn’t feel worth it for what you get.

I went for a reunion dinner last week with a friend visiting from out of town and overall, we had a great time. The food was really good, especially the braised beef dish. We also had tartare, tomato and halloumi salad, and I think a chicken terrine/pate? The flavours and textures were unique as I wasn't quite sure what a contemporary take on Palestinian food would be like. I'm definitely coming back to try more - especially the dumplings which were sold out. One thing I would love is if the lighting could be adjusted a bit. We were on the ground level dining room. It felt a bit bright for our dinner and I'm a fan of good ambient lighting. Anyway, Wishing Louf amazing success! I think it's definitely unique in Toronto.

The service was exceptional. This is a perfect place for a romantic dinner. The Chef sends out a small tasting spoon to open the palate which is a lovely touch. Food was great, beet salad was delicious and the French fries were unlike any I’ve had elsewhere. The table next to us absolutely loved their lamb entrees. The best part of the meal was the chocolate walnut brownie with pistachio/truffle oil ice cream.

Love the pear salad and shrimp appetizers. The seafood medley (Cataplana) was good for sharing between two people. The sauce was very tasty and it would be good to dip in the bread or rice, but it was not serve with thar. The octopus rice was too salty and had too much sauce. The server was knowledgeable to explain the menu and recommend food.
