The Danforth & Jones location is solid. Great staff, super helpful, and management is tight + very responsive.
We order from this location fairly regularly, single pies and larger orders. Always fresh and great value. Extremely rare to experience any issues, but when it has happened the manager quickly makes it right.
We mostly order pickup, though delivery is pretty quick too.
Def recommend for great pizza and service.

I love dominos, delivery is fast food is great, only reason i give it 4 stars is because the drivers never have proper change. I know most people pay with debit or credit card, but they should always have proper change in case someone wants to pay with cash

Always great pizza! 🍕 Pan pizza is a favourite!
Sufficient amount of toppings and cheese and never too saucy!
Keep it up Dominoes!

Staff is always pleasant , and are always quick to remedy any mistake or oversights when they happen
And their drivers are always above and beyond pleasant and courteous. I am always so impressed with them each and every time.
And this has been the same for years now, a wonderful location and staff!!!

Pizza here beats the ones in Europe! The crust is, like, totally awesome, loaded with more toppings, and the service is way friendlier. 😁🍕 And, most importantly, you're eating pizza, not just flour with some dough dip, you know. 👌 They don't skimp on ingredients, and every time I check, they've got some sweet deals going on. Definitely recommend stopping by and grabbing a bite! 😜

I wanted to love this place SO badly because of the low price and super friendly person working the front but after paying $1.50 to swap my rice to fried noodles, I got literally raw, uncooked noodles with my chicken! I couldn’t eat them :( Check your food before you leave!

The chilli chicken lunch special is what you need for a mid-week pickup for a comforting set of fried chilli chicken, and steamed rice with a side of hot and sour soup.

Was craving some good Indian-Chinese (Hakka here in Canada) & this place was absolutely amazing. Loved the meal & the service was even better.
Quick. And courteous. The host was warm & felt like I wasn’t in Toronto for a bit (as the city and customer service don’t do well). If you’re in the food service business, the experience is worth just as much as how good the food is.
Highly recommend the pork bbq fried rice. Fluffy and soft. Seasoned well. Chicken Pokara had the spices in them & were not bland (or just batter fried). Chilli chicken was good but may have been a little over cooked with the crunch or been out for a short while. Still flavourful nonetheless.
Come to Greek town for some good Hakka! Really?
Really!

A great Hakka experience. I've eaten here a few times and have always found the service great and the food well made with generous portions. For me, the spice edges on mild, but I also have a pallet for spice that tends towards hot so I can't speak for everyone. The atmosphere is casual without being too cheap.

Danforth Pizza House is a charming, family-owned restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The owner’s sons, who run the place, are very friendly and make you feel right at home. I tried their special, and while the pizza was fresh and well-made, I found it a bit lacking in flavor.
The sauce and dough could use a bit more seasoning or salt to bring out the flavors. That being said, it’s still a great spot for a casual meal.
Keep in mind, they only accept cash, so be sure to come prepared!💵

Don’t go to the city often, but went for the auto show. Went out of the way to visit this pizza place being one of the oldest in the city to have lunch.
Not only were the staff (which seemed like a nice authentic family) amazing, talking about making dough, letting us watch them make the dough, and telling us about the history of the place, but they seemed genuinely happy to chat & be there which is nice. They were down to earth & love what they do. The place is cozy, & had memorabilia. Great atmosphere. Priced reasonably. Lots to choose from. Now for the pizza ….. MMMMM. Best pizza I’ve ever had. Best ingredients, best ratios. The crust is delicious. I usually like a fluffier, chewier (deeper dish) pizza but for a crispier slice… hands down my favourite. I won’t go out of my way to get a slice anywhere, but deffs would come an hour to have a slice here again. Perfect, intimate amount of seating where you feel at home. Definitely recommend if you’re a pizza lover. Also, their cola was delish.

The pizza was amazing! The dough was one of the best I had and the toppings were fresh and plentiful! Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere 🙂.

Drove from Hamilton to come try this place while the sauce and crust were good the cheese was of very low quality (very chewy and hard) just made the pizza not great. The toppings were also lacking, they were only on some slices which was disappointing.

Delicious south Asian food at reasonable cost. Bihari Beef kabob was tender and flavorful. Chicken biryani and beef curry were good, less oily than other places. Naan very good as well. Quick friendly service, thank you! 😊

I’m not sure why but I really love this place, has a home cooked feel to it. I have ordered from here a few times and I like the rice and chicken from the biriyani, could be more spicy-i might just be numb to it tho. I also tried the chicken samosa and chicken roll. Got the Samosa fresh and hot and was great!!! Enjoyed the sauce that came with it. The roll was cold and I feel like I’ve had better take your chance with it tho because normally their food is great. Also had butter chicken and it was very sweet and lots of chicken, personally I would have preferred more sauce. I enjoyed the veggies it came with wish there was more!!! Yummy meal

Delicious IndoPak food, run by some bangalis and has been around for probably the last 30 years, remember it since I was child and still go a few times a year despite living further away now. Not fancy but Good people.
Amazing Bihari kebab and kebabs. And pretty spacious seating for the area. Reasonably priced. Places like this make Toronto a multicultural foodies dream destination.

Not worth your money. Almost $6 per dim sum and just mediocre. The siu my were not even wrapped with yellow wraps. Never have I been to a restaurant where they hand you packages of sauce. Why couldn't the server put it in a dish?
The deep fried wonton was not crispy and with a dime size shrimp.
The only good thing from this restaurant was the green tea.

Had take out for two dishes; Chef Suggestion #6 Eggplant with spicy sauce & minced pork 鱼香茄子 ($15.99), R7 Fried Rice Noodle with beef 干炒牛河($16.75)
Food was ready on time and pick up process was smooth.
I liked rice noodles were very lightly seasoned but noodles were all stuck together.
Eggplant was flavourful, not too spicy. Went well with my own rice.
Pirtion size was just big enough for two people.

Bonus points to Ha Gow for being the only dimsum and dumpling spot in the area... and they make it fresh and by hand!
Stopped by for lunch and got a bunch of stuff. My favourites were the har gow (plump shrimp, tasty coating), scallop dumpling (great texture and conteasts in taste), bbq pork bun (hefty bun, tender pork, generous sauce), and for dessert the sesame balls (sticky bean paste, good fry).
Place is simple yet clean and spacious. Pruces are reasonable. Service is quick and pleasant. Between all those things and the authentic tasting dim sum and dumpling, I get why this place has been around for over a decade.

We had such a wonderful experience getting dim sum from Ha Gow dim sum house last week! I have a food allergy to onion and garlic and they really went out of their way to make sure the food would be safe for me to enjoy. Everything was so fresh and delicious, and when I picked up the food, they even had another menu for me with notes on it showing the things I could safely order the next time. That is some wonderful customer service! Thank you so much guys, everything was delicious and I will be back again soon, and tell all my friends about you!

Residents and dim sum fans living in this area of the Danforth should consider themselves fortunate to have this small family run dim sum place as an option. I always try to make a point to have some lunch here. I unfortunately live too far away. This is a great alternative to the hustle and bustle of Chinatown to get some authentic dim sum dishes. It’s great that they offer dim sum all day, not just in the morning / lunch. It’s small, only 6 tables and an eating counter, so they don’t offer the trolleys. You order off an order sheet.
They do offer a great selection of other menu options from stir fry dishes to bowls of noodle soup that you can order off. You might wind up waiting for a table if you’re unfortunate enough to be there when the 6 tables are full. The place is tight and small. But what that also means is that you get your order quicker, you don’t have to wait around for a long time hoping to get something you want waiting for a little old lady pushing a cart. As a result it comes to you fresh and steaming, straight out of the steamer pot. A wait staff confirms they make everything in house. They do not take credit cards, cash only, so make sure you have some green. Waitress was friendly, spoke perfect English, enjoyed my lunch there. Will Come again. 4 selections of dim sum and a soda with tax and tip was about $23.00 as of Jan 2020.

Excellent old school burger shop with great prices and delicious food. Got a homemade Banquet Burger and onion rings and by far one of the best burgers Ive ever had. The onion rings as well were amazing and also homemade. The staff working here are also amazing and super friendly. Highly recommended for anyone that enjoys great food and small family businesses!

An institution along Danforth, this old-school spot serves burgers, gyros and freshly grilled souvlaki. Don't overlook the value that you get for these prices, because the food quality is high and the prices are low. The chicken takes on an aromatic char from the grill, that adds a smoky depth of flavour to the moist chunks of chicken meat that's embellished with simple, yet tasty seasonings. Inside the pita includes a generous smear of a creamy and tangy yogurt sauce, sweet white onions for crunch, and tomatoes for juiciness too.

You can't beat $6.50 for a Hamburger, french fries, and can of pop. Is it the most amazing, thick burger? No. But it certainly is tasty.
Perhaps even more impressive was the amount of meat in the gyro pita. $6.65 and it was loaded.
Will happily eat at Square Boy again.

Came here on the weekend after a run. The burgers are great and really hit the spot. The main attraction is of course the price point - square boy must be one of the best deals in the city food wise. I got a burger fries and drink for 7.50, and it was more than enough food for lunch. This is a classic spot on the danforth and a must visit for anyone in the area. I can’t wait to return to try out the souvlaki, gyros, and more!

The best prices in town. Cheeseburger and fries with gravy were both tasty and a good portion. Service was great. Can’t wait to try their souvlaki.

Amazing authentic Japanese on the Danforth!!!
This place was a wonderful experience. We have been here once before and the takoyaki is genuinely the best in the city that we had to come back. The server was attentive (gave us two glasses to share our pop which was so thoughtful!) and honest about food (specifically the level of spice I would be in for). We had the Spicy ramen and pork katsu curry. The portions were great, the atmosphere is top notch and over all such a pleasant experience. Can’t wait to come back and try more items from the menu!

We ordered the takoyaki and shrimp okonomiyaki as our appetizer. Both were delicious.
The nabeyaki udon was good. The zaru soba tasted like what you expected, just a regular zaru soba.
It was a hearty meal and definitely great having after work.
We went around 6pm, expected for it to be a little busy but surprisingly was not. It was just us dining in but there were a lot of people who ordered food to take out.
It felt like a mom and pop store. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was cozy. I felt very relaxed and comfortable dining in there. Def recommend.

I’ve been eating here for over ten years and have never had a bad bite of food. Tonight I had the karaage ramen and it was just large enough to feel full but small enough to walk home comfortably.
Vincent Hachey - 5 months ago
Wow I had such delicious and satisfying meal ☺️ I ordered the Karaage Ramen (karaage was put on the side, which I prefer) and it was so yummy. Usually when I have Ramen, the broth tends to be on the saltier side, but this was a perfect blend of smooth and rich flavors. You can really feel and taste the care and love the chefs put into the food. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really relaxing too! And the service was excellent 👌 ahh overall I'd recommend visiting this quiet, kawaii, and cozy little spot on Danforth!! You won't regret it ❤️❤️

Happen to drive by and seen this gem. Right in the heart of danforth can't miss it just outside of donlands station they got a wide selection. Reasonable prices & great service. I got the 15 p chicken & large wedges total came to $53.00 CAN. I have no complaints about the food well cooked & lightly seasoned chicken very crispy, wedges were delicious nothing fancy just your typical potato wedges. Over all good experience friendly staff and clean store front. Definitely check them out if your in the area

I will definitely be going back for more. Thank you for the delicious lunch my friend 🤟🏼

Opened in 2005, City Fried Chicken, nestled at the corner of Danforth and Donlands, has been a beloved halal destination for fried chicken enthusiasts. I first discovered this gem in 2017, and it quickly became a favorite lunchtime spot with coworkers. The warm welcome, mouthwatering fried chicken, and a variety of delectable sauces always made for a satisfying meal. I recall them lending us bottles of their honey garlic and hot sauces as we enjoyed our food. Glorious memories ❣️
Fast forward to yesterday, and I was thrilled to revisit this iconic spot. Despite the passage of time, City Fried Chicken has not only survived but thrived. The renovated space offers a sitting options perfect for a casual bite. The friendly staff, including the efficient young man who served me, added to the positive dining experience. It was heartwarming to see the restaurant bustling with customers, especially during the cold weather.
If you're seeking affordable, delicious fried chicken served with a smile, City Fried Chicken is a must-visit. Since I first came across them, they have increased their menu options and feature daily specials worth trying. I'm looking forward to my next visit as this timeless gem continues to deliver on its promise of a good bite and friendly faces.
