5 Star Rating Cannot say enough great things about Casa Sushi. We have dined in, ordered takeout for small groups, and ordered large scale catering and everything has been above and beyond excellent. They are friendly and attentive here, and all the food tastes delicious! I love their chicken kaarage, and you can’t go wrong with any of their sushi rolls. Pictures in this post are from a large catering order for a party

4 Star Rating Ordered takeout and rolls were decently priced and portioned. Pretty much standard sushi, wasn’t anything amazing but not horrible either. The only feedback I have is that some of the rolls when ordering on their website have conflicting descriptions. Suggest they get that fixed

5 Star Rating Snowed in this weekend so couldn't drive to our usual Sushi take out place. Walked around the block to pick up our first order from Casa Sushi. Very pleased with the quality of food. The order was ready when we asked it to be. Prices are inline with other sushi takeout restaurants of this quality. I wish they would let us pay cash when we pick up our order though. I will enquire with them about that before we place the next order. Would recommend!

5 Star Rating We had a fantastic meal at Astoria Shish Kebob House on the Danforth, and it’s easy to see why this spot is a staple for Greek food in Toronto. The service was excellent—friendly, attentive, and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The restaurant has a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a casual night out or a gathering with friends and family. For food, we started with the calamari appetizer, which was cooked perfectly—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and full of flavor. The pork souvlaki was just as impressive—juicy, well-seasoned, and paired with their signature sides. Everything was fresh and delicious, exactly what you’d hope for in a classic Greek meal. Parking is conveniently located around the corner, making it easy to get in and out, even on a busy night. If you’re craving authentic Greek food with great service, Astoria is always a solid choice. Highly recommend!

5 Star Rating Came in on a quiet Wednesday night, so they weren’t very busy. Seated quickly with good service. Large menu with plenty of options to customize. Serving sizes are large (recommend splitting a souvlaki platter if you’re not hungry) and prices are reasonable. We ordered and recommend the chicken souvlaki, pork souvlaki, and grilled calamari with Baklava for dessert. Decent spot for Greek on the Danforth in Greektown!

4 Star Rating We were trying to find a place to eat before a comedy show and we needed a quick bite to eat. Luckily, this place wasn’t packed on a Friday night and we were able to get a table right away. The service was fine and the food was good. We started with the Golden Fried Calamari and we both got different sandwiches. The meat was seasoned well although the chunks were on the larger side which made difficult to eat without getting messy. Definitely no shame in eating with a fork and knife.

4 Star Rating We Were Seeing A Show At The Danforth Music Hall Later That Evening And Decided Dinner At Astoria On The Danforth Would Be A Good Idea. We Were Seated In About A Minute In A Section Of The Restaurant That Was Empty. Waiters And Staff Kept Walking Bye And After 10 Minutes Of Being Invisible, Finally Asked One Of The Staff For Service. The Waiter Apologized And We Finally Ordered. The Pork Souvlaki Dinner Was Perfectly Cooked And Delicious. Portions Of Rice And Potatoes Were Huge Along With The Greek Salad. We Also Ordered A Couple Of Orders Of Grilled Garlic Bread. At Checkout, The Waiter Didn't Charge Us For The Garlic Bread Because Of The Waiting Earlier On.

5 Star Rating Food was delicious and very tasty during this very busy time on a Friday Night. Service was great and staff accommodating given the tight seating - brought a small table so our group of 5 were not so squished. Staff even provided us with a tantalizing honey cake dessert at no cost as it was our first visit to the restaurant. Given the constant flow of traffic and filled tables it speaks volumes to the great food, atmosphere and friendly staff. To top it off the senior staff member could be heard singing happy birthday to one of the diners at a nearby table - so awesome and personable. I would definitely go back soon ! Totally recommended to all Greek food enthusiasts! Thank you Pantheon !

5 Star Rating We had an absolutely wonderful time dining at Pantheon Restaurant with friends! The ambiance was vibrant, and the staff made us feel welcome right from the start. The authentic Greek cuisine was a highlight of the evening—every dish was bursting with traditional flavors that transported us straight to the Mediterranean. From the fresh seafood to the perfectly seasoned souvlaki, each plate was prepared to perfection. The warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service added to the overall experience, making it an ideal spot for gathering with friends. We'll definitely be back to enjoy more of their delicious menu. Highly recommend Pantheon for anyone looking for a true taste of Greece!

3 Star Rating The food tastes really good, I ordered chicken souvlaki and everything tasted great, I wish they put more rice with it as I ordered a large one and the rice was not enough (Wondering how much is in the small chicken souvlaki, if that’s the large) Also when you order an appetizer it used to come with pita bread and now it comes with toast bread and if you want pita you have to pay for it. Even though there were 4 empty tables, we were given a small table near the electric outlet and the space was so tight that the chair was right next to the cables as you see in the photo, we refused to sit there and the lady wanted first to check with someone else in order to give us another one, she ended up giving us 4 options, the tables were better but still everything was tight and not comfortable. I’d recommend improving the seating layout and being more considerate when assigning tables for better dining experience.

5 Star Rating We had an amazing experience at Pantheon on a snowy Saturday night. The staff were kind enough to make us a table with no wait time although the restaurant was very busy and we didn't have reservations. We ordered the hot plate for two combo that had grilled octupus, calamari, sausage, stuffed vine leaves and spanakopita. Every single one was absolutely perfect, we couldn't really choose the best. I cannot say enough good things about the service. The staff were very attentive, helped us choose and kept checking in to see if we needed anything. We had a very nice chat with the owner as well who went around and talked to people on all tables. The complimentary honey cake in the end was very unexpected and super nice too. Definitley going there again!

5 Star Rating The best Greek restaurant in Toronto. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The staff and service were impeccable. They made sure our water was always filled and brought us a complimentary honey cake at the end of our meal. The fried calamari is the best I’ve had in my life and is a must if you go here. The chicken souvlaki meal was also very delicious. However, my guest opted for the small souvlaki plate which was identical in size to my large plate. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back as this is one of our new favourite places in the city!

4 Star Rating Food:3.5. Service: 4.5. Atmosphere:4. Food came in great portion and staff was friendly. Chicken souvlaki was our favorite, tender and marinated well. Lamb and beef gyro was a bit disappointing, felt like meat served in the same plate were not cooked evenly. Some over cooked and some not cooked well enough. Greek salad was in a big portion as well.

3 Star Rating Went here for lunch shortly after they opened on a weekday. Partner had the mixed plate and I the chicken gyro plate combo which includes a bottled drink and choice of side of fries/roast potato/rice. Upgrade to Greek fries for extra $3. Order took about 10/15 min with Greek fries coming out first. Feta serving was generous and overall was nice and soft and crumbly which provided nice balance to the coin cut fries. Mixed plate was a little dry. Maybe that’s why ketchup is also offered at the same time?? Lamb taste was strong. Did not try the beef. Overall heavy and serving was enough for two meals. Chicken plate seemed fresher. Not dry. Tasted like rotisserie. Not salty which is good. Could’ve benefited from some acidity to cut through the roast and fries like lemon or at least a wedge on the side, though not sure how Greek that is. Overall bit pricey for fried food and roasted meat - with roast meats being hit or miss on the dryness (chicken>mixed plate)

It’s best to make reservations after a short wait we got seated and our waiter was quick to introduce himself. The service was great. The food was underwhelming. 3 Star Rating The saganaki wasn’t very sweet like usual saganaki that I’ve had and the waiter didnt light it on fire in front of us so I didnt get to record it unfortunately. But the dining area was pretty. Chicken souvlaki could’ve been cooked a bit better but perhaps it was just because it was a Monday night? The steak skewers, fried Calamari/Kalamari, greek fries and tzatziki were pretty good. Salad seemed to be drenched in slightly too much olive oil however but still not bad. Overall 6/10. It’s a nice place to go to if you wanna slightly dress up though, and the renovations look really good! Also- found $7 paid parking about a 2 minute walk away at the Chester subway station

5 Star Rating We had an amazing experience at 7 Numbers Danforth! The service was top-notch—our waiter, Nirma, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make our evening special. The food was excellent, too. We were craving pesto pasta, and even though it wasn’t on the menu, the chef kindly made a delicious custom pesto pasta for us. The seafood linguini was also a hit, and the desserts were fantastic. Nirma even treated us to a couple of extra desserts, which was such a nice gesture. The pumpkin spice tiramisu was a fun and tasty twist on a classic, and the cherry cheesecake was divine. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy family-restaurant vibe. It was a bit dimly lit, but that added to the charm for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

3 Star Rating I wanted to like it but the annoying loud vibe on a Saturday and the mediocre service makes this place a meh. Despite arriving 15 minutes early for my reservation got seated at a bad table near the door next to a loud large group who kept bumping into me. No date night vibe. Good cocktails followed be mediocre apps (unpeeled grilled shrimp look great but are a pain to eat.). The waiter left our bottle of wine on the table unopened for so long I had to get up and track him down at the bar to ask him to open it. The kitchen delivered better mains but the raucous vibe made date night a bust. Avoid the apps and avoid Saturdays and you may do better. Overall below average which is a shame for a Toronto restaurant that’s been around as long as this one.

3 Star Rating Hello, I came here with my friends today and I want to share my experiences with you. First of all, the place is very nicely decorated, the employees were very friendly, but before we even finished our desserts and there were customers inside, the waiter said that the kitchen would close, it was around 9 pm, I don't understand why he came and told us this, we ate waffle cake, but to be honest, the taste was not what I expected, it was too thick, it started to be too much after a few bites, none of us could finish what was on our plates. I don’t think I will go again.

5 Star Rating Amazing Greek restaurant! Lots of seating and very nice place for a quiet dinner getaway. It’s in the heart of Greektown and there’s street parking but also a few GreenP lots around the area. We had the Tzatziki dip and the Feta cheese, which came with amazing, warm breads, superb to make small bites and spreads. Moreover, we had the spinach pies (Spanakopitakiya), which were very good, in shapes of mini-Samosas, we also the stuffed vine leaves (Dolmades), which were also delicious. Apart from the feta cheese, the highlight of the evening was the chicken gyros platter, which was out of the world (came with a large salad on the side). We also had their fried cod fish, which was satisfactory. Overall, a great trip and would definitely recommend especially as the prices here are extremely affordable. Thanks!

5 Star Rating January 31st 2025 at 11:30am - It was a surprise visit to this tea shop for our daughter since she’s never tried halo halo. This was a favourite dessert of mine from the Philippines and I wanted her to try for the first time. We’ve never been to this shop/resto so was pleasantly surprised that there was seating available for a Friday afternoon around lunchtime. The wait for the halo halo was long but expected (if you know you know). Since I knew it was going to take time, daughter had also never tried funnel cake so I ordered that too. Both orders did not disappoint! Very nostalgic to say the least…sigh….to be young again without a care in the world enjoying halo halo in the heat of back home. Let’s just say we didn’t have any leftovers! Lovely elderly couple behind the counter. Will be coming back to try other items on the menu. A highly recommended spot on the Danforth!

5 Star Rating Great little tea shop in Greektown with high quality tea, and fantastic staff. Came here at night and ordered a large oolong milk tea which included a topping for ~$9. I initially thought that was on the higher end, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they steeped tea using fresh leaves and made the drink on the spot! That's rare considering all the bubble tea shops nowadays that have either powders or pitchers of tea that they made ages ago. The drink was honestly some of the highest quality milk teas I've had in a while, and this is a place definitely worth checking out. The staff are also very kind and is a family-run business.

5 Star Rating Delicious soft serve vanilla ice cream dipped in melted chocolate! A great variety of chocolate flavours and toppings to choose from as well. The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Will visit again to try more of the flavours!

5 Star Rating Very delicious and lots of variety of deserts. Interior is a bit dated, but otherwise great experience. Food is amazing and drinks were good as well! No complaints about the food and the staff were helpful!

5 Star Rating Very nice small place to have a delicious dessert with coffee or gelato 🍧 only one thing I didn’t like dogs are aloud get inside while you’re eating.

3 Star Rating Nice place, open late (until 1am) if you feel like snacking at night. Tried waffles, presented as Belgian, but they tasted like old bun dough. The ice cream is okay, but looks and tastes a bit like it’s artificially flavored. Chocolate lava cake didn’t have chocolate filling and didn’t “ooze out”, but tasted good though
