Cannot say enough great things about Casa Sushi. We have dined in, ordered takeout for small groups, and ordered large scale catering and everything has been above and beyond excellent. They are friendly and attentive here, and all the food tastes delicious! I love their chicken kaarage, and you can’t go wrong with any of their sushi rolls.
Pictures in this post are from a large catering order for a party

Ordered takeout and rolls were decently priced and portioned. Pretty much standard sushi, wasn’t anything amazing but not horrible either.
The only feedback I have is that some of the rolls when ordering on their website have conflicting descriptions. Suggest they get that fixed

The food came very fast and the portions were so full. We usually get their BOGO crunchy crab rolls and karagee and the quality is consistently good. I've been here a few times and the staff are always quick and friendly. The owner is also very friendly and attentive. I prefer their service and food.

This place has become my favourite spot. Sushi tastes good but the server and staff are quick and professional. Had an opportunity to speak to the head chef, he is a cool guy. Must visit place. A quite place to dine on busy street. Perfect for first date or just me time.

We were trying to find a place to eat before a comedy show and we needed a quick bite to eat. Luckily, this place wasn’t packed on a Friday night and we were able to get a table right away. The service was fine and the food was good. We started with the Golden Fried Calamari and we both got different sandwiches. The meat was seasoned well although the chunks were on the larger side which made difficult to eat without getting messy. Definitely no shame in eating with a fork and knife.

Stefanos was the one who attended us & was an amazing service. Everything we asked for he helped us with it. The Lamb Souvlaki was spectacular & the baked potatoes melted in the mouth like butter. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my fellow Torontonians. The Greek Salad was great too. We took the Blakava to go!

Absolutely delicious food here. We didn't stay long as we had to dine and dash to go to the theatre. Would definitely recommend.

Very accessible, we could get seating right away on a Saturday night.
Frankly, pretty disappointed with the food quality. I think it's fair to say that the price is on the higher side especially considering the portion sizes and poor presentation.
Greek Salad - I found some pink parts on the lettuce and overdressing made it soggy
Saganaki – good, enjoyed with pita breads
Grilled Calamari – weirdly tasteless though looked seasoned well, no fresh then sort of squishy
Chicken Souvlaki – I felt it overcooked and dried
Moussaka – way too greasy with excess oils not coming from the beef.
Their service didn’t make up for it, actually she made my experience even worse.
She was almost rude, rarely gave me eye contact and mostly talked only to my company even when I asked some about the menu to her. I guess this was because the friend is a male and obviously elder than me, but anyway quite uncomfortable.
There’s no reason coming back here overall, we have lots of much better Greek restaurants in this area.

Came here for a date night with wife. We had tried another place nearby but was too busy so we went to Astoria where we had gone when dating.
Lovely food, great service - all the wonderful things we remember of the Astoria. Highly recommended and glad we came back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time dining at Pantheon Restaurant with friends! The ambiance was vibrant, and the staff made us feel welcome right from the start. The authentic Greek cuisine was a highlight of the evening—every dish was bursting with traditional flavors that transported us straight to the Mediterranean. From the fresh seafood to the perfectly seasoned souvlaki, each plate was prepared to perfection.
The warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service added to the overall experience, making it an ideal spot for gathering with friends. We'll definitely be back to enjoy more of their delicious menu. Highly recommend Pantheon for anyone looking for a true taste of Greece!

Absolutely delicious food! My friend got the pork
Souvlaki dinner and I got the Moussaka. Both dishes were amazing! The service was phenomenal and we even received a complimentary honey cake which was wonderful. I would definitely come back again :)

We had saganaki for app and it was delicious! I love the crunchy crust and the chewy cheese. It was also fun to watch it being flambed in front of you.
The grilled calamari is cooked to perfection! Definitely one of the best calamaris I’ve had in Ontario. Their lamb chop is tender and flavorful. And the honey cake is perfect to end the night!

Food:3.5. Service: 4.5. Atmosphere:4.
Food came in great portion and staff was friendly. Chicken souvlaki was our favorite, tender and marinated well. Lamb and beef gyro was a bit disappointing, felt like meat served in the same plate were not cooked evenly. Some over cooked and some not cooked well enough. Greek salad was in a big portion as well.

Amazing food and respectful service at Messinis! This is now my favorite Greek Restaurant! Visited this restaurant during the early hours on a weekday and experienced no hassle or wait times.
Service was quick and easy, servers were attentive and helpful, and the food was delicious! We ordered a 2 meal combo special containing 2 entrees and 1 side, and the portions were massive!
The chicken gyro was delicious as well as the potatoes, which can be upgraded into greek fries. Overall amazing experience, will be back!

It was a wonderful experience, I loved the place, the speed and warmth of the service. They also have staff who speak Spanish in case you're worried about the language. cheap prices for the quality and quantity of dishes. I recommend it and believe me I'll be back because I love it.

Was really looking forward to eating at this place heard some good things. the place is packed. It’s best to make reservations after a short wait we got seated and our waiter was quick to introduce himself. The service was great. The food was underwhelming. Tasted similar to what you would find in a fast food setting. Don’t get me wrong. It was good, but it wasn’t memorable. The atmosphere is alive and happening.
Dave Elfassy - 4 months ago
Sat on the patio after a 45min wait with no reservation for our group. The atmosphere and service is immaculate here.
Food was also great, portions are good and not overly filling. I loved the tiger shrimp and will definitely come back for more because the flavour is so well done. Calamari was amazing as well, did not get a photo before we dove in. Meat was cooked well - I got the lamb here and it was cooked to medium so texture was easy to chew.
I can understand the wait time given that I’ve got nothing negative to say this spot.

Some really good things, and some small points for improvement at Mezes. I'll start with the good - the service was good, and the food was delicious. We arrived right at open (11:00AM) which meant that there was no wait. Based on others' reviews, it does sound like it gets busier later in the day and there may be a wait. We had a larger group, so I got to try a couple items off the menu. The Small Kria Poikilia ($14) was great - we did add an extra pita ($3) as recommended by the server. My favourite dip of the four (Tzatziki, Taramosalata, Homous, and Melitzanosalata) was the Taramosalata, which was amazingly flavourful and paired great with the pita. For my main, I got the chicken souvlaki dinner ($25). The chicken souvlaki was delicious and the texture was amazing. I did wish the portion was a bit bigger - for $25, it was a single skewer. The rice portion was really big but not really necessary. My boyfriend got the lamb souvlaki dinner ($28) which was also really good. That is saying a lot, coming from me, as I normally cannot stand the taste of lamb.
The one primary issue I had with our lunch was the inconsistent temperature. It was extremely hot in the room at parts of the meal, which did come down to reasonable levels at certain times. It may have been because it was very chilly outside and it became more moderate in the afternoon.

I have heard good things so I was looking forward to trying it out. I had to do take out, which of course is not the same experience or atmosphere as dining in.
That being said, I was very disappointed with the portion size given the price. The container was not even filled up. The salad was good but only one olive in the whole salad.
Overall, not super impressed by the food or attention to detail for take out at least.

We had an amazing experience at 7 Numbers Danforth! The service was top-notch—our waiter, Nirma, was incredibly friendly and went out of his way to make our evening special.
The food was excellent, too. We were craving pesto pasta, and even though it wasn’t on the menu, the chef kindly made a delicious custom pesto pasta for us. The seafood linguini was also a hit, and the desserts were fantastic. Nirma even treated us to a couple of extra desserts, which was such a nice gesture. The pumpkin spice tiramisu was a fun and tasty twist on a classic, and the cherry cheesecake was divine.
The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy family-restaurant vibe. It was a bit dimly lit, but that added to the charm for us.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

Dropped in for a quick dessert with a friend today. We both tried the espresso martini affogato; the ice-cream was rich and creamy and paired very well with their espresso. We also tried the Nutella tiramisu and sour cherry cheesecake, which came out in little, cute jars! Our server was great as well!

Generally speaking, I liked the atmosphere and the food. The highlight for me were the duck meat skewers. Good selection of wine as well. The veal dish was a bit too fatty for my taste. Overall, I’d say this restaurant is slightly overpriced.

Me and my partner came in for a late dinner and we’re met with warm hospitality.
Great ambiance and delicious pasta.
Nirma was an attentive and great server. If I could give 6 starts for service I would!
Thank you for making our visit perfect.

Hello, I came here with my friends today and I want to share my experiences with you. First of all, the place is very nicely decorated, the employees were very friendly, but before we even finished our desserts and there were customers inside, the waiter said that the kitchen would close, it was around 9 pm, I don't understand why he came and told us this, we ate waffle cake, but to be honest, the taste was not what I expected, it was too thick, it started to be too much after a few bites, none of us could finish what was on our plates. I don’t think I will go again.

I got the Day N' White milkshake and Tongue Depressor waffles with my Dad, and they were both fantastic. They did not last long, but that was probably for the best because neither did we. The Day N' White was a bit milky, but was still delicious. The Tongue Depressor was what you would see if you looked up "Sensory overload but good" on Google and went to images. I would not recommend ordering one just for one person. The service was very fast and the milkshake arrived before I got back from the washroom. The waffles arrived almost immediately after. The restaurant was pretty quiet around the time I went (4:25-ish PM), and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely go again and try some different things!

This is such an amazing place and my favourite for waffles and ice cream. Honestly, I haven't tried anything else since I'm so obsessed over the waffles. Honestly, these are the best waffles I've ever tried in my life, anywhere! There's something very special about them (in the dough) but it makes them taste so gooood! My fav is Pretty in pink, but all of them are just great. You can change the ice cream flavor to make a combination to your taste if you want. Ice cream is so creamy and rich, so good. It's a big waffle and it's loaded! It's a lot of calories and sugar for sure but so worth it! The place is really nice and cute, not very comfy though. They have crepes, cakes, cheesecakes and so many more things (I'm sure they're really good too).

A nice restaurant on Danforth with a very rustic feel. The food here was very tasty and well portioned and prices were reasonable. Our server was friendly quick and efficient. Unlike most Greek restaurants that serve warm pita, we were served a lightly buttered toasted sesame seed bread and it was delicious.

Amazing Greek restaurant! Lots of seating and very nice place for a quiet dinner getaway. It’s in the heart of Greektown and there’s street parking but also a few GreenP lots around the area. We had the Tzatziki dip and the Feta cheese, which came with amazing, warm breads, superb to make small bites and spreads. Moreover, we had the spinach pies (Spanakopitakiya), which were very good, in shapes of mini-Samosas, we also the stuffed vine leaves (Dolmades), which were also delicious. Apart from the feta cheese, the highlight of the evening was the chicken gyros platter, which was out of the world (came with a large salad on the side). We also had their fried cod fish, which was satisfactory. Overall, a great trip and would definitely recommend especially as the prices here are extremely affordable. Thanks!

Great little tea shop in Greektown with high quality tea, and fantastic staff.
Came here at night and ordered a large oolong milk tea which included a topping for ~$9.
I initially thought that was on the higher end, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they steeped tea using fresh leaves and made the drink on the spot! That's rare considering all the bubble tea shops nowadays that have either powders or pitchers of tea that they made ages ago.
The drink was honestly some of the highest quality milk teas I've had in a while, and this is a place definitely worth checking out. The staff are also very kind and is a family-run business.

This is a great Filipino tea shop that serves a variety of Filipino drinks and desserts, as well as your standard selection of bubble teas.
Halo halo is one of my favourites, and they do it pretty well here. Generous serving of ingredients.
They have a good selection of hot foods as well which are worth coming back for and trying it.
The decor inside is also very cozy feeling, making it a great place to hangout in the evening size they open until 2am.

Very cute and cozy shop, lovely staff, and most importantly delicious food! The halo halo was full of toppings and the ice was finely shaven. The ube yema cake was moist and soft, not too sweet. I was recommended to come here by my friend and I wasn't disappointed. Thank you Tsaa Tea Shop for a yummy experience!
