5 Star Rating This place has become my favourite spot. Sushi tastes good but the server and staff are quick and professional. Had an opportunity to speak to the head chef, he is a cool guy. Must visit place. A quite place to dine on busy street. Perfect for first date or just me time.

2 Star Rating Very accessible, we could get seating right away on a Saturday night. Frankly, pretty disappointed with the food quality. I think it's fair to say that the price is on the higher side especially considering the portion sizes and poor presentation. Greek Salad - I found some pink parts on the lettuce and overdressing made it soggy Saganaki – good, enjoyed with pita breads Grilled Calamari – nice, a bit tasteless though Chicken Souvlaki – I felt it overcooked and dried Moussaka – way too greasy with excess oils not coming from the beef. Their service didn’t make up for it, actually she made my experience even worse. She was almost rude, rarely gave me eye contact and mostly talked only to my company even when I asked some about the menu to her. I guess this was because the friend is a male and obviously elder than me, but anyway quite uncomfortable. There’s no reason coming back here overall, we have lots of much better Greek restaurants in this area.

5 Star Rating First time I’ve been here and it was lovely. I went with my friend and we both enjoyed ourselves. I don’t have much experience with Greek food but this was very delicious. The chicken and pork souvlaki was seasoned and cooked perfectly. We both got 2 of each and shared. The tzatziki wasn’t like traditional tzatziki with cucumbers but it was delicious. The dolmades were good tho they taste good from the can too and are cheaper. For the mains with both got calamari. She got the fried and I got the grilled. The fried tasted better but I’m glad I got to try the grilled. It was reasonably priced for what it is. The sides were savoury and rice and baked potatoes. Both were good but nothing groundbreaking. The server was very nice and attentive. Very happy with the service. Also as a side note the washroom was very clean and actually smelled nice, doesn’t happen often for a public washroom lol All in all i had a great experience and I would go again.

5 Star Rating We have been dining in at Astoria for many years - clean and welcoming atmosphere with a family feel! As soon as you walk in, you feel as though you’re walking into a Greek household. The food is excellent and we had the pleasure of being served by Dina. She was kind and pleasant, and our experience overall amazing. Highly recommend the flaming cheese and chicken souvlaki dinner with tzatziki. The mousaka (not pictured here) is also a delicious Greek staple.

5 Star Rating The hubby and I ordered the Pantheon Hot Combo for 2. It was the perfect amount for us and it did not disappoint. The platter was beautifully presented, very tasty and consisted of: grilled octopus, grilled squid, sausage, stuffed grape leaves, spanokapita and potatoes. We had a Greek beer, it was a clean barley beer. Service was quick and attentive. They made sure we were not short on drinks and water. The restaurant filled up entirely by 6:30pm on a Saturday night. It was fun to see many table ordering the saganaki (flaming cheese). All and all, it was a fun night out! Make a reservation to avoid disappointment!

5 Star Rating Pantheon has become our go-to spot for authentic Greek food. The quality and freshness of their dishes are outstanding, creating an amazing culinary experience. The atmosphere is fantastic, providing a great backdrop for a delightful meal. The customer service at Pantheon is truly exceptional – accommodating and attentive. Everyone in our party left more than satisfied with their meals. Personally, I couldn’t get enough of the lamb chops; they stand out as some of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to save room for dessert – it’s a sweet ending to an already fantastic dining experience. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Pantheon to anyone looking for top-notch Greek cuisine in a welcoming setting.

5 Star Rating My go-to spot in Greektown for cheap and tasty Greek food with enormous portions! The inside is nice and cozy although a bit dated, but you’re really coming here for the tasty food! I usually get their pork gyros meat platter with Greek salad and Greek fries, and honestly that is enough to feed 2 people. Portions are massive, both the main and sides are tasty, and the food comes quick! Service is friendly and fairly attentive though can be slow during busier times. Glad they’ve been around for so many years and hope they stay around for many more!

2 Star Rating I wonder what's the marketing strategy behind the wait time between salads/apps and receiving the main course. It was an exact 40-minute wait. We had to ask the waiter to check on our food. I thought they would forget but no, other clients also had the same issue. Food is good-ish. Could have used more flavour. By the time we got our main meal, we were full from salad and free pita. So if you don't mind, please serve faster. Note that the restaurant wasn't that busy and it was 6 pm on a Wednesday.

5 Star Rating Came for the first time to celebrate my birthday with the fam after our friends suggested. We were quickly seated, no wait time, and practically immediately started getting served despite the fact that the restaurant was full and busy. The waiter serving us was super friendly and polite, constantly coming up to ask how we're doing and if we needed anything. Customer service of this level is really rare these days, so it feels good to compliment 😊. The food choices were great. Tasted well, but not as intense in flavor for our liking. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and I will recommend the place to others. Will definitely come back. 👌👌🔥🔥🔥

4 Star Rating Went last Friday to celebrate the return of spring. They were able to seat a table of 5 with no delay which was amazing for 7:30pm-ish Love the look of the new place but it becomes loud in a way it didn’t seem to compared to the original location. Barely able to hear each other Food arrived fast. All was good except the rice. Absolutely terrible. Rubbery and bland. That would have been the only food option that was objectively bad Also got the small dip and while I didn’t like the baba ghanoush and the salmon dip. They were very well prepared and everyone else at the table loved him. The small dip plate is enough to feed several people as long as you’re not taking spoonfuls of the dip with the pita bread. Otherwise, it was a good dinner great company. The staff was friendly and prompt and is one place that we always love to visit

5 Star Rating One of Danforth's best spots! It was an unplanned visit as we were looking for a spot to eat before a show. We walked in (but def recommend to make a reso) and they were able to accomodate us. We were blown away by the quality of their menu. The Burrata was just divine - i love Burrata as it is but the tomatoes and zucchini really elevated it. The Arancini is one of the best ones I've had... im a truffle girly and the truffle in this is the right amount (as per me). The Pennette with pesto, green beans and potatoes was amazing! One of the best pesto pasta dishes I've had. No joke - i think about it still. The Focaccia bread... i had to highlight this - it's one of the best breads I've tried. I love how its not bready at all but has a cake consistency which im here for. This is gonna be the reason I come back. The drinks were amazing and I really loved the Sparkling Lemon. Will have to try and make it at home.

4 Star Rating A birthday dinner. The place has a straightforward dinner experience, simple chairs and sturdy tables. You get to watch the open kitchen or if facing away from the culinary magic the people on the Danforth. The food is fresh and made with top ingredients. The lobster pasta was good, linguini with shrimp and fried vegetables. It was layered nicely, but nothing special. The ravioli and gnocchi was a hit. Sexy duck is highly recommended. The sauce for both was very good, and the serving size was ample.

2 Star Rating Second time at 7 numbers and this time really ruined my experiences there. 1) service was lackluster. We had made a reservation for eight people and had asked if we could all sit at a single table. They had agreed to it. When we got there they had given us two tables of four. There was an available table of eight as well as another table that could fit 8 but only had two people sitting at it. When we asked if we could get the available table of 8, they said that it was booked for a family of eight. Why the other group was prioritized over us, I am uncertain. But also they could have just planned better and held on the other table of eight instead of sitting instead of just two people there. If I wanted to eat with just my family then I would have ate at home and not paid to eat out. Ridiculous. 2) food - we ordered Burrata, lasagna, rapini and chicken parmasiana. Everything was super salty. Burrata was ok. Nothing special. Lasagna was below average tasting. In fact, I've made a lot of lasagna that tasted better than the one I had here. The rapini was routine. And the chicken was horribly disappointing. Not just super salty but also dry. Overall it was very disappointing and the fact that we couldn't sit with the other family that we had booked with made the experience really bad. Unfortunate since our first time here was good

5 Star Rating This is such an amazing place and my favourite for waffles and ice cream. Honestly, I haven't tried anything else since I'm so obsessed over the waffles. Honestly, these are the best waffles I've ever tried in my life, anywhere! There's something very special about them (in the dough) but it makes them taste so gooood! My fav is Pretty in pink, but all of them are just great. You can change the ice cream flavor to make a combination to your taste if you want. Ice cream is so creamy and rich, so good. It's a big waffle and it's loaded! It's a lot of calories and sugar for sure but so worth it! The place is really nice and cute, not very comfy though. They have crepes, cakes, cheesecakes and so many more things (I'm sure they're really good too).

I've had the banana split for 2 people but it can easily be for 4 people, it's humongous. It is expensive though, I paid close to $40 for a banana split and almost $30 for a waffle (tax and tip included)

5 Star Rating Amazing Greek restaurant! Lots of seating and very nice place for a quiet dinner getaway. It’s in the heart of Greektown and there’s street parking but also a few GreenP lots around the area. We had the Tzatziki dip and the Feta cheese, which came with amazing, warm breads, superb to make small bites and spreads. Moreover, we had the spinach pies (Spanakopitakiya), which were very good, in shapes of mini-Samosas, we also the stuffed vine leaves (Dolmades), which were also delicious. Apart from the feta cheese, the highlight of the evening was the chicken gyros platter, which was out of the world (came with a large salad on the side). We also had their fried cod fish, which was satisfactory. Overall, a great trip and would definitely recommend especially as the prices here are extremely affordable. Thanks!

5 Star Rating We got the Halo Halo, Matcha Red Bean Crepe, follow @bredgyeats for more food photos! A sign of a good dessert is when you're absolutely stuffed, yet still find room to fit a halo halo and crepe inside somewhere. I find halo halo kind of like a puzzle to eat, after finishing a portion you unlock another, working your way from the ube ice cream, granola to the caramel flan, digging deeper into the shaved ice and then the sweetened beans and jelly, all finished all with a drizzle of evaporated milk. The crepe had the perfect amount of chew and fluffiness, stuffed with a generous amount of not-too-sweet red bean filling and topped with a drizzle of maple syrup, powdered sugar and more red beans. The vanilla whipped cream on the side provides a nice temperature contrast to each bite and adds to the airiness.

4 Star Rating Cute spot and the food and drinks were good. 👍🏼 Staff were friendly. However, I’m not sure if it was just a busy night but if you’re looking to do some studying here I wouldn’t say it’s the best cafe unless you like a lot of noise. It was a bit distracting hearing the coffee machines, people coming in/out, the music wasn’t as “cafe” like and there wasn’t a lot of outlets around it’s understandable since it is small and there’s not a lot of seating area. Still great if you need to be out on a whim for a late night study session just be wary of the noise. Overall, I would definitely come here again with my friends to try more of their food and drinks 😋

4 Star Rating After reading the awesome reviews, I needed to experience it myself. Matcha Tea Latte was definitely delicious, creamy and made with almond milk. My friend had the chocolate cake which was delicious and enjoyed coffee with almond milk. They had plenty of selection of sweets unfortunately they were not dairy free.

3 Star Rating Ordered a banana chocolate crepe and a strawberry milkshake through doordash. The crepe tasted just ok, but the milkshake was yummy. The prices are pretty high for what you get.

5 Star Rating Great place. I was one of the first to try their belgian waffles, which they toast to make nice and hot before dipping into their chocolate sauces just like the cones, and then also just like the cones you can add toppings. I went for cereal and graham crackers on one waffle and reese pieces on the other. Overall a great waffle ice cream sandwich, and the staff were amazing!

3 Star Rating Nice place, open late (until 1am) if you feel like snacking at night. Tried waffles, presented as Belgian, but they tasted like old bun dough. The ice cream is okay, but looks and tastes a bit like it’s artificially flavored. Chocolate lava cake didn’t have chocolate filling and didn’t “ooze out”, but tasted good though

5 Star Rating Great spot for ice cream lovers! La Diperie offers excellent choices in vanilla softy dips with added toppings as well as some really good hard ice cream and sorbet options. They also serve shakes and some good desserts to choose from at a very pocket friendly price. We tried their Dark chocolate vanilla softy dipped in almonds and oreo crumbs and tried a chocolate cone topped with nuts and both were delicious! Surely coming back for more. Update: I've always loved la diperie but now there's a better reason to visit them more often! They've introduced delicious Belgian waffles to their menu that tastes SO delicious. I tried their chocolate chip cookie dough waffle and the molten lava cake one and both were yummy licious!

4 Star Rating They have vanilla soft serve, 3 different sizes, and you get to choose the dip and toppings. Ice cream tastes very sweet, and customer service was great, 3 large cone soft serve were $27
