delicious! i think the anchovies were our favourite but the whole menu looked phenomenal and we loved everything we ordered. half priced paella on sundays and wednesdays

We ordered the black ink Squid 🐙 Paella, which I would not do again. I found it overwhelmed the whole dish. It is unappealing to look at and makes a mess of your fingers, teeth, and lips. Ask for extra serviettes if you still plan to order this dish. The honey bacon wrapped dates were good, but I have had ones stuffed with manchego cheese with maple syrup which were better. The chocolate shrimp was a strange combination. If you go on a night where there is entertainment, you will not be able to hear anyone at your table. Each table should have candles, especially when they turn the lights down for the singer/dancer.

This place isn’t fancy, it’s more like home style, warm and welcoming. It was a quiet weekday night and only a few tables. Our server is nice enough to give us a larger table. Food is great overall. The clams are really tiny and slightly overcooked but other than that, most dishes are wonderful. Must order some bread to soak up the sauce! The steak is tender and juicy. Parking on street is difficult to find, however, there's plenty of parking at the Broadview subway station. Night time parking is just a flat fee of $7 until the next day 7am.

Had a fantastic experience at Tapas at Embrujo! The atmosphere was lively, with authentic Spanish vibes, and the food was absolutely delicious. The variety of tapas was impressive, and each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. The sangria was a perfect complement to the meal. Highly recommend for a great night out!

This place is charming, with it's colourful interiors and flamenco show on Fridays. Stopped by for winterlicious and the food was pretty good too. Standouts were the absolutely amazing bacon wrapped dates with almonds and honey, and the poached marsala pears. Also got the beef tenderloin with whiskey sauce and fries which is one of their most popular items - beef was pretty tender and whiskey sauce was interesting. Service is friendly. Place has a warm vibe. It's like a party in someone's home.

20 of us were here for our friend’s birthday. What a great and lovely choice for dinner. 5 stars and more for all the servers who attended us as they were all friendly and always smiling especially Santos who was going around with the meats. Salad bar and appetizer samplers were amazing along with the great drinks. If it wasn’t because of the washroom smell at the front before getting into the restaurant, I would have given full 5 stars. Smells awful. I hope management gets to do something about it. Please read your bills if you have a big group and paying separately. I did not know the tip was included as no one told me nor the server, so I still added additional 20% as it was showing on the machine as well but I came back to look at it and it did say tip included. The service was great so I left it as it is. The server is not at fault as he was processing many separate bills from our group. Just read your bill, so you dont have to double tip. Fantastic night.

Food- 5/5 Service- 5/5 Ambiance 5/5 Drinks- 5/5 Value- 4/5 Went her with a big group in the spring and we had a great time. It is a Brazilian steakhouse where you show the green side of the card to keep getting food and then the red side of the card to take a break. Lots of great cuts of beef as well as chicken and some fish. After the first go around, you should pick what you like and just ask for more of that. They are very courteous and will ask you what cuts you would want. The sides are delicious and it’s tough not to fill up on those. There is also a big salad bar and it has some other types of meats and cheeses too. Sooo many options. On top of the good food and drink, on some nights there is a show. She does a great job livening up the place and adding entertainment value. I would definitely go back if in the area.

Amazing all around! Had my Bachelors Party here over the weekend with around 12 guests and we were all impressed by the level of service and food quality. Not to mention that the staff here are very attentive and thoughtful. They got the dancer to bring me and my guests to the floor and interact with us so it’s an entire experience and we look forward to coming back here!

Came on Christmas, great salad bar selection. Meat was pretty good overall (lamb stole the spotlight) and service was very fast! Surprisingly wasn’t very busy though - which was weird.

I came for dinner alone prior to a show at Danforth. The environment is warm and inviting. A true supper club and a lost art. Allen’s has managed to combine Irish Pub culture with fine dining, while not leaving you desiring anything from either. A perfect combination. The interior is beautiful. The service is perfect.It was full, rustling and bustling with a late night environment, at only 6pm. My beer was crisp and delicious, my lamb chops and champ felt like Irish perfection. Stopped in for a bite before a concert at the Danforth. Had the burger, daughter had the chowder, both top notch! In fact, I’m a bit of a burger snob and the burger at Allen’s was top 5! Tasted like someone ground a beef tenderloin and put it on a bun…soooo good. Staff friendly and attentive even with them being extremely busy. Would recommend to anyone in the area to check out.

4.4. A classic spot filled with regulars. Atmosphere is great- especially the patio in the summer- expect to wait. We got a drink at the bar-good list, not a big assortment of zero proof to choose from. The burger was a hit- made to order, you can get cooked any way you like. The beef stew honestly was a bit lackluster but perhaps it was an off day. Service was good, atmosphere, as mentioned, was great.

We were on a waitlist for a restaurant down the road and since it was cold we decided to pop into Allen’s for a drink while we wait . So glad we did . We looked at the menu and I saw the special was ahí tuna , so I was sold! We asked if they had a table and even though it was packed they accommodated us. Granted it was in a corner in front of the kitchen , but that’s fine with us . I loved the wine they suggested and as I had hoped the ahí was delish. My husband loves traditional pub food so that’s what he ordered and loved it. Great spot for a casual meal with high end service .

I had always been wanting to come here - after learning legendary Canadian band - Lunch at Allen's was named after it. Finally, after 20 plus years I made a visit and it did not disappoint. The Maitre D - Karl - was fantastic. So helpful and kind. Despite it being a very busy Saturday night, he incredibly was able to get us a table of 4. The menu had a nice variety of items and I opted for the liver which was delicious. My friend, who use to frequent this restaurant many years ago - had the Black bean soup and he remarked it was as fantastic today as it was many years ago. Deb our server was great too - very attentive and accommodating with the concern we had over a food allergy. I highly recommend this establishment - it will not disappoint.

The food here is great! Really enjoyed their tasty grilled cheese and their fries are great. We had hoped they could accommodate our choir on Tuesday nights but their kitchen closes at 9:30pm so we had to find another place. Too bad! Their food and location was good.

Boisterous and incredibly loud inside (like shouting to hear each other loud). My friend enjoyed the simple grilled cheese, we both loved the excellent fries. The beet salad was oddly plain, with canned beets (pretty tasteless), nice fresh spinach, a big lump of goat cheese, and a simple vinaigrette. Edible, but unremarkable. The margaritas were tasty but not potent. Overall simple and suitably economical fare.

Great unpretentious bar on the Danforth. Good beer selection, daily drink specials, and their pizzas are a hidden gem. Only slight critique is that their hot-flavour wings (hot, suicide), while flavourful, have next to no spice level. Add some heat!

Been going here for years. Best ali baba location in the city. Overall pretty good food comparing to other shawarma spots. Open late so mad convenient. The beef is always tender and juicy. Also ask for samosa and get it a little undercooked and not too crispy. Try the chicken and beef, also their veggie! Always getting 20s. Tonight my boy Ali came through and put together a special 😂thankyou. Most beautiful oversized beef shawarma, double wrapped. You guys are always friendly regardless of the time, appreciate that!

I actually am not to ever crave for wraps and barely eat fries. But my husband loves and I will admit that everytime I come here with him. I would eat his wraps and I would order their fries. Took my.85 year old mother here last week after our heavy lunch and gave her first taste of the fries. She was full but wanted more. By far best fries I have ever had and sharwama. Been to other places no where compare. Highly recommend and staff are always friendly Had to save a photo to share 😆

Had a Capone special slice with drink. Pizza does not disappoint at all. I recommend trying various pizza slices from Pizzaiolo and get to know the flavour you enjoy more. Edit: not my favourite pizza if it’s cold and reheated it’s just not very delicious.

This is a fantastic local. Great conversation. Great service. And you got to try the hamburger especially the The one called Jack Blue... Great beef great blue cheese. Do have the fries they're fresh cut. I love the tone of this place. I love that they're locals there that obviously been going there for a long time. I love the guy who was reading a book by the light of his laptop. He was probably riding a book. I love the guys talking about cars and bikes. And they're watching the baseball game. There Art all over the walls to distract and intrigue the curious and if you're a stranger and you don't want to be, you'll be a friend soon of the Edmund Burke.

The Edmund Burke is a fantastic holiday tradition for us coming to see the Charlie brown christmas show. The food never fails to disappoint, but the service and atmosphere are really special! We had great service from Ashley and crew and really loved the special attention paid to our kids! A really wonderful place for a family to have a fun meal!

My family and i (6 of us) enjoyed a wonderful dinner tonight at the Burke. I had an excellent special and all the meals were great. Only two people working the front of house and they did an excellent job of keeping a packed house happy. Reservations recommended.

Today was my first time stumbling into The Edmund Burke. The outside sign advertising Steak Frites on Thursday for $21 beckoned me, but I didn't end up getting that after all. I don't know what I was expecting, but I was surprised when I entered. It was after 5pm and the bar was filled with men having a beer at the bar and chatting, while a table at the back had a bunch of women doing the same. This felt like the neighbourhood joint you go to every day. For me, I don't drink and I was alone, but yet I thoroughly enjoyed myself. The darker decor and old fashioned fixtures was calming in a 'you know what you're going to get here' kind of way. Familiar. Comforting. The bartender was the server and she was friendly and made me feel welcome. I ordered the Chicken Schnitzel with homemade spaetzl and thought it was delicious. I will definitely be back. I think this will be a good place to go to in the winter out of the cold. But next time I come, I'm going to check out the back patio.

We were excited to go here for sea food and they did not disappoint. We arrived just as they opened and were greeted by the friendliest lady who gave us a run down of the menu and sorted us out with drinks. Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics! Halibut Fish and Chips - Halibut was uneven, the thinner end was super moist and flaky, while the thicker part was a little worse but still good. The batter was crispy and aromatic, but the fish itself didn't have a taste. The tartar sauce was nice, and the lemon brightened up the dish a lot. Vinaigrette slaw was refreshing and crisp, and the salad was on the sour side but helped with the oil of the batter.

Landon took great care of us (party of 12). He was super personable and quick. Fish and chips, 10/10. Also got the curry, super flavorful. Love the atmosphere and the place was clean. Bathrooms too. So happy we chose this place to satisfy our cravings. Will definitely be back when we visit Toronto!

I got the burger with a side salad. The side salad was just lettuce with balsamic vinaigrette and the burger was good but a little dry for my liking. My friends got the fish and chips and said the fish was a bit burnt. Also, there weren’t too many options to choose from on the menu for meals. Aside from that, our server was super nice, accommodating and quick with our orders.

The Guinness was nice and cold, and the live music was great, especially the traditional Irish tunes. The servers were friendly, but I was disappointed with the food. I tried the fried calamari, but the portion was small, and it seemed undercooked, likely due to a low-temperature fryer.

I stopped in here with my parents before catching a show at the Danforth Music Hall, which is right next door. It has a very authentic Irish Pub feel to it, with the accompanying beers on tap. We had some food, and it was very good indeed. I had the salmon burger, and my parents had fish and chips, and crab cakes, along with a sharable of blackened potato salad. Glad we stopped in!

OK, ok, it's been a while since I've experienced pub grub but chose this place for proximity to the hall, and the 4.3* ratings Bar folk were excellent, beer pretty good, atmosphere, well, exactly pub bar, so great, food? Oh dear Had fish and chips. I'm sure it was freshly microwaved, soggy, but I was hungry so edible, the tartar sauce tasted of cardamom, different, but not better The patio was a good place to hang out

I make sure to stop in to this Irish Pub before go to a concert at the Danforth next door. Great place to have a beer. Feels like you’re in the legitimate pub in Ireland. Guinness & Harp on tap and there are private rooms available too. If you are ever in the area pop in and have a pint. You will be glad you did.

First time to try this Pizza Nova location. We were rush so just eating at the counter. We have tried a few different pizza stores and this pizza store tastes pretty good. Pizza was hot & fresh and very cheesy. Restaurant was neat & clean. Convenient location! Will definitely visit again !
