Came here twice for brunch. Both times. A wonderful experience. Very quaint interior decor. Pretty tight seating.
Dec 2024: had raspberry cocktail (home made), Charlotte smoked Benedict

We had dinner at this café and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, though the tables were a bit too close together. The drink selection was impressive, and the menu offered a wide variety of options. They also had a special offer on bottled drinks, which was a nice touch. So we had a bottle of Shiraz red wine, and we started with poutine as an appetizer—both were excellent. For the main course, we had lasagna and a Greek salad, both of which were of good quality.

Nice Old Toronto bar type feeling. I wish the upper floors were open when I visited. I enjoyed all the food, it was all fresh. The menu wasn't too complicated.
For price to food- the poutine was my tables favorite. Only 12$ for such a large portion! The gravy and cheese were perfect.
The bruschetta was awesome, tasted very fresh and honestly it was a lot to have alone. Id recommend splitting the app to leave room for the main.
Also had a couple sandwiches, that were great but a little bit over toasted. I personally would not recommend the Grilled Cheese, as it felt like cheap square cheese on wonder bread.
Other wise all the food was great, especially the pesto stuff 🤤

Love it here! Came here on a Tuesday around 11 and stayed until 4am. They let you study if they’re not busy and if you continue ordering snacks and drinks. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Theres two levels which is cozy but not very spacious. Upstairs is really beautiful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Only mistake is that I ordered a warm apple cider since it’s fall season but they gave me the alcoholic one in a can, I tried asking for the warm one but they looked confused.

We stumbled across this place trying to get out of the rain and were delighted by the vibe, and the food was delicious. Great staff and a Toronto classic, having been around for 29 plus years. We dined on the main floor and were curious to see the other floors but didn’t head up stairs. Clean bathrooms, the coffee was great and the desserts looked incredible.

I've been here a few times and the experience is always pretty good. The food and drinks are delicious and the wait to receive them after ordering is pretty quick. The staff are nice and helpful, it just takes a while to flag one down. I'll definitely visit again and this is a place I recommend.

Live jazz music on their second floor, and a heated patio. Polite staff, good ambiance, we only had drinks which were good no comment for food.

Expect mediocre food but the dining atmosphere was great. Might be better when there’s live music or if you’re here to grab some drinks, rather than expecting a nice meal.
We went for lunch during a weekday. It was not busy and we were seated fairly quickly. We did have to walk up a staircase to access the patio and it can be challenging for some. The service was great and the staff were professional. Our food came out at a reasonable time and water was served in jugs to the table.
However, the food was very mediocre, way too heavily seasoned(at least for my chowder), and the portion runs on the smaller end.

Came here with a friend for a casual dinner and this place did not disappoint! Toughest part was walking up a flight of stairs but after that, you've found yourself on a nice spacious rooftop patio complete with a bar and ample TV screens for sports fans. Ordered the the Smoked Pork Chop grilled with maple BBQ sauce (with fries and coleslaw). My buddy got the Chicken Strips (with fries). The Pork Chop was tender and meaty while that maple BBQ sauce imparted such an addictive sweet & savoury flavour to the dish. The Chicken Strips were good too, nicely battered and crispy without being dry on the inside. Fries and salad were also good. Service was prompt and friendly. Overall, highly recommend this place to all! 5/5.

I had my graduation party at The Pilot over the weekend and I was so impressed! The food and the drinks were delicious and the staff were so attentive. When planning my party with the event staff they were very accommodating and helpful. I had various allergies in my party and everything ran very smoothly. The atmosphere was also very lively. I would definitely recommend hosting your events at The Pilot!

AYCE Korean BBQ. Good price but not authentic Korean style. The kimchi was not very good and very limited bunchan (side dishes). Missing some essential items such as sesame oil, soybean sauce and raw garlic. The survey we had within our group indicated that no one wanted to return for the BBQ again.

We love this place. We go there all the time! they took good care of us on rotchys birthday. they let us in after hours and took care of myself rotchy and all the kids including niece and nephew.. 9 of us in total they treated us so well. rotchie was so happy that she got to eat there for her birthday after a long night out with myself and the kids.. she was ecstatic.. if she's happy I'm happy

First time ever trying Korean BBQ and picked this place to try out. Food was amazing and the service was excellent too. The All You Can Ear BBQ is great value and my personal favorite was the beef short ribs. The included mango ice cream at the end was a nice bonus too. Will definitely come back to try again with a larger group of people!

140$ for two people to eat (all you can eat) and share ONE drink. Honestly, this place could look better(in terms of cleanliness and interior, + plastic cups are absolute joke, they tasted funky) and have bigger selection for the price per person, but staff was friendly and always making sure plates don’t stay on the table, stars just for that. And as other people said, tips are included in the price. Better suggestion for the same prices if you’re wondering : Shinta. Very luxury place and very big selection.

Nice place for a barbecue time! From outside it looks small, however there is plenty of space for everyone!
We tried all you can eat option which is approximately $36 per person and you can have unlimited meat, fish, side dishes and vegetables.
You are ordering through your phone scanning QR code on the table. It is a bit confusing , however after first time we got used to it.
The service is fast and friendly! The location is perfect as it is near Bloor station.

A great restaurant option for those who like to go out in groups and want a good variety of appetizers and snacks for a group, as well as large drinks to enjoy with friends.
The restaurant is always very busy, especially on parade days and game days. The food is good and always arrives hot and well-served.
They have two entrances (one with accessibility and one without), with an access ramp and an automatic door. They do not have a menu in Braille, but the staff is always available to provide guidance.
For those traveling with children, they have a children's menu, pencils for drawing, high chairs for children, and bathrooms with changing tables.
They do not have their own parking lot, but there are paid parking lots in the area, as well as buildings with private parking.

The atmosphere was vibrant, perfect for a night out with friends or a casual dinner. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we felt welcome despite how busy it was.
Food was absolutely delicious! The Smoky Burger was a standout; juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Paired with the Truffle Fries, it was a match made in heaven.
Highly recommend the Smoky Burger and Truffle Fries combo, you won’t be disappointed!

Yesterday, I had a great dinner with my friends. The food was delicious, and our server, Haley, was incredibly attentive. One of my friends accidentally spilled her drink on the table, and Haley was extremely helpful, assisting us in moving to another table and even bringing a replacement drink. Excellent service!

I recently visited Sunset Grill in Toronto, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience! We ordered the Mediterranean and Veggie omelettes, and both were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also tried their pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and delicious.
The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and welcoming, and the facility was well-maintained. Our server was excellent (Suman) —super friendly and attentive, making our visit even more enjoyable.
The only small suggestion I have is that they didn’t offer oat or almond milk as a non-dairy option for coffee. It would be great to see that added to the menu in the future.
Overall, I highly recommend Sunset Grill! The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch, and I will definitely be returning.

I had an amazing breakfast at this restaurant today! I ordered the blueberry pancakes with a side of small fruit salad, and I must say, they nailed it. I’m very picky about my pancakes, and I asked for them to be a little crispy, and the chefs delivered perfectly. The pancakes were just the way I like them—crispy on the edges but soft inside. It really made my day!
What truly stood out, though, was the way the chefs were preparing the food. I could see them from my table, and it was evident that they take great pride in their craft. Their attention to detail was impressive, and it was clear they were very hygienic in their work. I felt completely comfortable and confident in the cleanliness of the kitchen.
Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be back for more!😃

I was so delighted with the taste of my meal (a Mexican omelette). Also, they offer $2.00 pancakes every Tuesday, which were astonishing great! Everything was excellent: the food, the restaurant and of course the service. I'll definitely come back to try more stuff!

Stopped by Lee Chen for a weekend meal a couple weeks ago and had a lovely experience.
We ordered a few dishes including chow mein, Szechuan fish and garlic fried Bok Choy. We got steamed rice on the side.
My favorite dish was the chow mein. The fried thin noodles are lovely and well stir fried. There's a good flavor here that's great comfort food. The only issue I had is that the quantity is a little on the low side for the price. $15 for stir fried noodles could have been a little more on quantity, especially without any protein added.
The fish is a bit on the spicy side and it was a little powdery for my liking. The coating here is also a bit soggy for this type of dish. I didn't mind it but I don't think I would order it again.
The greens were excellent. Simple and delicious flavours here with garlic. Really enjoyed this dish too.
The service here was nice. The hostess is lovely and friendly making us feel comfortable and welcomed.
Overall this is a lovely spot for a nice meal. I think I would try some of the meat dishes and dumplings that are more popular.
Recommend supporting this local Toronto spot.

Pieces of braised pork belly, with an attractive layering of melt-in-your-mouth fat and fall-apart tender meat bursts with a sweet soy ginger broth that can easily make pork or rice disappear, especially when you mix that sauce with it. Lovers of black pepper will be thoroughly satisfied with the potency of each bite of beef, stir-fried with a combo of onions, bell peppers and mushrooms.

The best soup dumplings you can have in Toronto! Stumbled upon this place while running an errand in Downtown Toronto on a Monday night. It happens to be crowded during the weekend but during weekdays it was pretty quiet and empty. Great food and service!

I am confused as to why this particular location has received such low ratings. My experience there was very positive and the service was quick and efficient. The salt and pepper chicken I ordered was cooked to perfection - it was crispy on the outside and still moist inside. Also, the black pepper beef was cooked perfectly, medium well and very juicy. I particularly enjoyed the Lee Chen Fried Rice, which was delicious. Lastly, the dumplings were just as good as the best dumpling restaurant “Juicy Dumplings”.
Now where Lee Chen suffers is the portion. The quantity doesn't reflect the price. But overall great place to dine.

We ordered 3 pizzas from Mamma’s Pizza: combination , Hawaiian, and chicken. The crust was baked perfectly, which I really appreciated. However, I didn’t enjoy the pepperoni pizza as much because it had too many bell peppers, and their flavor was a bit overpowering. On the other hand, the chicken pizza was absolutely amazing!

I recently tried Mamma's Pizza at 807 Yonge st, and it was amazing! The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside yet soft and chewy inside. I came here a couple times before they closed down and the pizza by the slice was okay. I figured after they reopened that the food would be of higher quality. I was mistaken.
The “fresh” pizza shouldn’t be left out for so long.
Service was great and the employees were friendly. I would not recommend the pizza by the slice.

Reasonable price for downtown area.
Bright and nicely decor dinning room. Could have clean the dinning area better, saw stain on the wall.
Washroom is clean.
Complimentary bread and butter.
Food came quickly and hot.
Cocktails are ok, the white sangria is way too sweet and off balanced.
Burger is decent and definitely filling.
Server did check on us regularly but sometimes making jokes that we find it a bit awkward.

A great spot for a quick bite to eat in Yorkville. We had the avocado toast (with poached egg), the ahi tuna poke bowl, the chicken sandwich and a burger. Additionally, an iced matcha and a iced americano. The food is always fresh and deliscious and the service staff are quite helpful.
A very fun spot to grab a bit to eat during a day out in the area.

Came here for happy hour with my family and the service and food was amazing! Their happy hour menu items range from $5 to $20 so we ordered their entire happy hour menu! We especially loved the korean fired chicken, shishito peppers and prime rib sliders. We also love that they have a kids menu and were very accommodating and patient with my little nephews. Overall, a great lunch experience at Holt's Cafe :)

I recently visited this restaurant for afternoon tea and brunch, and I have to say, I was quite disappointed, especially considering the price. I expected a lot more in terms of quality and presentation. The parfait, in particular, was the worst part—it looked and tasted like something I could make in 30 seconds at home! There was nothing appealing or special about it at all. As for the tower they served for the afternoon tea, it felt overpriced for what was offered. Overall, it was well below my expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a premium experience.

I ordered the chicken & shrimp combo and paid at the register. I watched as the chef prepared me meal and noticed the cashier whisper something to the chef.
She must've charged me the incorrect amount because when I turned my back the chef intentionally hid the shrimp from view and then lied to me saying that they didn't know I wanted the chicken and shimp combo and only served me chicken.
I accepted the order and pretended I didn't see him cook and then hide the shrimp. I used to go there all the time but now I see they are not trustworthy and operate in bad faith. I would not recommend anybody eat here. There are better options in the area

Alright food but be careful they might do scams here? They added 2 goyza dumplings to my dish even though those don’t come included by default I don’t think and I didn’t ask for them and that bumped up my order I’m pretty sure, not sure if it was a misunderstanding or a sneaky tactic (my price seemed a bit high but I didn’t ask for receipt and didn’t bother to clarify with them)

We had a guest in from out of town and decided to bring her to ONoir. What a delightful experience! Our server Ali was just absolutely lovely and was incredibly hospitable. It was just a great way to relax and enjoy some good food without any of our day-to-day distractions. The room itself was cozy warm (on an incredibly cold winter’s day) with very comfortable seating. They really do tend to all senses given that you cannot see anything during the entire experience. Highly recommend and will be going back with others!

It's a neat experience. The service is good, the prices are reasonable.
Is this fine dining? Absolutely not. The food is... edible. Not bad, but not good.
Surprise meat appetizer seemed to be rice with some pulled chicken on top? Tasted fine, but strange choice. I had shrimp risotto for my main. Risotto was mushy. It also came with a watery vegetable medley that I'm sure came from a bag in the frozen section of the grocery store. Surprise dessert was a small bowl of icy sherbet/sorbet.

Last Saturday, I had a wonderful experience at ONoire. My father, who is almost completely blind, had heard about this restaurant and asked me to go. His hope was that it would help me better understand what he goes through every day.
From the moment we arrived, I was completely immersed in the experience. Our waiter (whose name I believe was Ali) was blind, yet he navigated the space effortlessly while I was completely lost in the darkness. My wife and I were both amazed by his ability to serve us with such confidence. It also gave me a new level of appreciation for what my father experiences every day.
Just for the record, the food was absolutely delicious. Every bite was full of flavour, and dining without sight was an interesting experience to say the least. To be honest, I had to use my hands a couple of times to find the food on my plate…Luckily nobody could see me!
When I recounted this experience to my father, he could not get his head around the fact that our waiter was blind and was able to do such a demanding job so well. To say he was impressed was an understatement. He even asked me to bring the rest of my family there just so they could have the same experience, and I absolutely will be doing that.
