Live jazz music on their second floor, and a heated patio. Polite staff, good ambiance, we only had drinks which were good no comment for food.

This is a reliable spot with some great beers on tap - especially the cider. The food is good but the dessert is amazing - for the price it hit the spot well.

I don’t know how I’ve never been here before! The rooftop patio is absolutely amazing. It’s very breezy and doesn’t get too hot.
The service was also exceptional. Me and my GF ordered spicy Caesars which were amazing but very very spicy. The bartender could see it on our face that it was hot so she gave us extra tomato juice.
The famous wings were also some of the best I had. I opted for the hot and the lemon pepper.
I enjoyed my time at Pilot and would definitely return

I've been here a few times and the experience is always pretty good. The food and drinks are delicious and the wait to receive them after ordering is pretty quick. The staff are nice and helpful, it just takes a while to flag one down. I'll definitely visit again and this is a place I recommend.

I went with two friends and the food was great! We got the classic poutine, the flatbread, and the wings. However, it was hard to recognize the servers as they were only wearing regular clothes and we had a bit if a hard time getting their attention, but they were very nice nonetheless. The atmosphere was comfortable, but around 7:30 they had a singer with guitar performing over the speakers and it got very difficult to hear each other speak. Otherwise, great food! But maybe I'd come to eat again at a time without live music.

The food was delicious. I recommend the sushi lunch, but don't rely on this review for what you're going to get because I only tried this! The onion soup and salad were the best appetizers I have had in what feels like years. In my opinion, there's not really any good reason to not come here.
I can't really say anything good or bad about service because I didn't really interact with the workers.
I would certainly come back here when I have time.
9.75/10!

I want to start by saying they have amazing service! I have food allergies and as soon as the lady who took my order found out the manager immediately came over and got more information then the chef took very good care while cooking to ensure my food didn't touch anything else on the grill. The food was amazing. I got the fillet mignon with shrimp and chicken dish. Wow, so good! The lobster was also delicious and large portions. The atmosphere was fantastic. They put on a great show and were very entertaining. Will definitely come back here again next time we're in town.

Have to say they deserve every stars, I went to many other Hibachi and so far, this restaurant is the best one. From the staffs to the chef, they ensure we have the best experience. The staffs were very attentive and polite, they even offered taking photo for me. The chef was professional and funny, he took good care of us. The food was phenomenal and price was very cheap considering the location, service and quality. Honestly I cant find anything to complain about.

Great experience!
We ordered a fillet minion and sirloin&shrimp deluxe and so on, and the fillet minion was the best like melting in mouth.

As a regular dining in Yamato since 1998, I have no negative things to say, their food was always up to a standard, however last night’s teppanyaki dinner was good but not great, it seems like portion gone slightly smaller, meat thinner, veggies a bit less, only the delicious fried rice stays the same
Service was top notch as usual. The place could get a facelift given it’s fairly old, ventilation getting worn out so it could get extremely smelly while the place is packed with people ordering grills, and a little too dark for a family restaurant

Nice Old Toronto bar type feeling. I wish the upper floors were open when I visited. I enjoyed all the food, it was all fresh. The menu wasn't too complicated.
For price to food- the poutine was my tables favorite. Only 12$ for such a large portion! The gravy and cheese were perfect.
The bruschetta was awesome, tasted very fresh and honestly it was a lot to have alone. Id recommend splitting the app to leave room for the main.
Also had a couple sandwiches, that were great but a little bit over toasted. I personally would not recommend the Grilled Cheese, as it felt like cheap square cheese on wonder bread.
Other wise all the food was great, especially the pesto stuff 🤤

Came here twice for brunch. Both times. A wonderful experience. Very quaint interior decor. Pretty tight seating.

We knew this was going to be our go to spot in Toronto the moment we entered 7 West Cafe! A huge shoutout to Alan and Sraddha and the rest of the team for their impeccable service. They went above and beyond to make our experience memorable! The drinks were fantastic and crafted to perfection. Their raspberry cocktail is a must try. It is rare to find a place that feels this comfortable and cozy, still delivering top notch service. Thank you so much team and we can’t wait to come back soon!

We had dinner at this café and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, though the tables were a bit too close together. The drink selection was impressive, and the menu offered a wide variety of options. They also had a special offer on bottled drinks, which was a nice touch. So we had a bottle of Shiraz red wine, and we started with poutine as an appetizer—both were excellent. For the main course, we had lasagna and a Greek salad, both of which were of good quality.

Great decor and atmosphere.. not good food.
Did not get food poisoning but food is definitely not worth what you pay. Better to take the subway down to king taps at king subways station for a cheaper meal.
They were very attentive but kindly reminded us at least 3x there is a 1.5hr time limit when half the tables were empty.
Do not get the pizza. It is worse than a frozen 4$ pizza from no frills.
Posted as 2 stars vs 1 because they did apologize when we told them...

When you walk through a closed curtain at the front door, you might think you're at the wrong place but you've now entered inside.
The staff are friendly but during a rush, just a bit more short.
The food is mid. I wouldn't recommend the main courses but the desserts and appetizers were delicious.
The mains seemed a bit underseasoned or perhaps simply not to my taste. I couldn't quite pinpoint any strong flavours in the chicken or steak dishes.
Otherwise a cute place to take photos.

Excellent experience.
I went today with my mother and we ordered tomato bruschetta to share and fish tacos for our meals. Lastly, chocolate cake with ice cream. I drank a non-alcohol beer. We paid 102 canada dollar. Yes, it is an expensive place. But the staff and the foods are great quality.

The restaurant is very cute and cosy. The couch seating in the bar area was very comfy. The service was very good. The food is pretty average, nothing exceptional. The bruschetta was very different from what we’re used to - wasn’t a fan. The steak was good. The branzino was good too, liked the grapes on it. The passion fruit panna cotta was way too sour for my taste but my partner liked it. They weren’t able to write happy birthday on the dessert 🍮 so they brought us some macarons. We did enjoy our time there but the food can be improved. All their meats are halal by the way.

I have been dining at Sassafraz for years and I feel the ambience has definitely changed over the years.
Food is just okay, but the noise level during dinner time is almost unbearable.
There are many restaurants at this level that offer much better ambience.
Service is so so, the server didn’t even ask how we liked our food once.
The steak was very chewy, definitely rather low grade.
Do not recommend.

I had a delightful evening at Sassafraz! We were seated in a beautiful spot under the skylight. From the appetizers to the main dishes, everything was excellent, especially the salad! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because it took unusually long to receive my cocktail, likely due to an issue at the bar. Despite this small hiccup, the overall experience was great, and I would definitely recommend it!

Was here on their opening day a long long time ago, nothing had really changed inside. Prices are cheap for Yorkville, this was the 1st place that served sushi pizza, it's a little different now how they do it but still taste good. Everything we had was good, a must visit if your in DT. My fave is their sushi inn roll.

The salmon tacos at Sushi Inn are absolutely delicious! The salmon was incredibly fresh, with a perfect melt-in-your-mouth texture. The combination of flavors—from the sushi-grade fish to the creamy sauce and crunchy toppings—was well-balanced and unique.
The presentation was beautiful, and the portion size was just right. The service was friendly and quick. If you're a sushi fan looking for something creative, I highly recommend trying the tacos here.
Will definitely be back for more!

The sushi at Sushi Inn is absolutely top-notch! My friends and I had a great experiences, were greeted warmly by the staff, who were attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. We ordered a salmon platter, add a sushi combo ,and as you can see from the picture, the presentation was beautiful. The salmon was incredibly fresh and vibrant, with each slice and roll tasting as amazing as it looked. The sashimi and maki rolls were melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
The service was quick and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made our dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're a sushi lover, this place is a must-visit! We’ll definitely be returning soon.

Carole’s Cheesecake has been a go-to spot for me for years, and for good reason. Their cakes are nothing short of decadent – every bite feels like a little indulgence in heaven. The variety is fantastic, and whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or something a little more unique, they never disappoint. It’s clear they put care and quality into every slice. Unpleasant experience.
We went for the all you can eat dinner and got seated right away, no wait which is great, we orderes our first round, the order came pretty quick but it was missing half the order, we ordered beef, beef ribs, lamb, shrimp,
mushrooms, onion, salads, and sauce.
All the meats came but not a single item of the veggies came, I thought it would come later but it never came and I had to order it again.
We asked for you grill to be changed since it started smoking up, the server never brought it until I asked again.
The food was mediocre, the beef slices were good, some of the ribs were mostly fat, the lamb was not good at all, it tasted like a live animal, the shrimp was good!
we ended with pineapples, again had to order them twice to get them, and I wish they never did, it was canned pineapple, we got 1 scoop of ice cream each (cookie monster, banana) both flavors were delicious.
On top of all of that there's a mandatory %13 gratuity on all tables, we're literally cooking our own food and had to beg for service, even the bill I had to ask for twice.
we paid around 34 per person including everything (tip+tax) it's 27.99 before tax.
overall would not come again, there are better options out there.

AYCE Korean BBQ. Good price but not authentic Korean style. The kimchi was not very good and very limited bunchan (side dishes). Missing some essential items such as sesame oil, soybean sauce and raw garlic. The survey we had within our group indicated that no one wanted to return for the BBQ again.

We love this place. We go there all the time! they took good care of us on rotchys birthday. they let us in after hours and took care of myself rotchy and all the kids including niece and nephew.. 9 of us in total they treated us so well. rotchie was so happy that she got to eat there for her birthday after a long night out with myself and the kids.. she was ecstatic.. if she's happy I'm happy

I recently visited this restaurant and had a generally pleasant experience. The atmosphere was inviting, with a nice ambiance that made it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The location is convenient, adding to its appeal. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to a positive dining experience.
I ordered the Jambalaya, and while it was decent, I found the portion to be smaller than expected, and the flavor was just average. However, the other dishes we tried were quite good, making up for the slight disappointment with the Jambalaya.
It was a bit busy during my visit, but the service remained efficient. Overall, this is a solid restaurant that I would recommend for a visit, especially for those looking to enjoy a variety of dishes in a pleasant setting.

Hemingway’s delivers a commendable dining experience with standout dishes like the Cajun fries, a flavorful burger, and a colorful Mexican bowl. With its inviting ambiance and friendly service, it’s well worth a visit for anyone looking for a relaxed yet delicious meal. Overall, a solid 4-star restaurant experience that I’d happily recommend.

The regular fries & sweet potato fries were some of the best fries I’ve ever had! They were both super crispy. 10/10. The club sandwich was okay, the bacon was way too hard and there was a small amount of dry chicken. My friend’s chicken wrap looked like good quality chicken, should use that for the club! Great prices though.

We made a reservation for Friday lunch on the patio to make the most of last days of summer and patio season.
We were seated very close to the bar and we could see everything coming out of the downstairs kitchen and being served to other customers; everything looked so delicious.
We ordered “Thai Chicken Salad”. The ingredients were fresh and the sauce was very delicious.
The service is fast and staff are friendly.
Parking could be a challenge here, but it’s perfectly accessible through subway.

My friend and I went here to grab a quick drink and some snacks here on a Thursday night. They have live music and honestly the setting feels really great. I did not know about this place until recently, and I know that I'm definitely going to go back.
Also for all of my TTC peeps, this place is outside Bay station.
I completely forgot about the Pavlova that I wanted to try, guess I have a reason to go back quicker.

Made a reservation and they took us in a timely manner. The inside was cozy, I think a bit too small on the first floor (only because if a table beside us calls for a waiter, their backs are too close to us or even touching us). We ordered the 3 course lunch (which I forgot what each dish was called). The bread, kale salad and "meat slices" came out first. The meat slices which I wished I knew the name to, was light, fresh, tasty. The kale salad was surprisingly flavourful since kale itself has a bland taste. The bread for me was lacking, it was light and airy but definitely nothing remarkable. As for the mains, the pizza was ok, again nothing too remarkable, the olives weren't sliced, they were whole olives on the pizza (I'm not sure if this is common in Italian dishes but having a bite of a whole olive on a pizza is too much). The fish dishes were simply amazing. The fish was moist and the sauce that was paired with it was harmonious. The flavors work so well and I would definitely recommend it, over the pizza... Overall, the staff were great, accommodating for my peanut allergy, it was a nice casual place to dine in and would definitely go back to try their other dishes.

Great food for a good price! I got the mushroom risotto nervosa and it was delicious - it was creamy and the risotto still had bite to it. The beef short rib accompaniment was a bit dry but still tender. My partner got the rigatoni bolognese and thought it was delicious as well. We enjoyed the intimate atmosphere of the restaurant and the open kitchen was interesting to see!

Trattoria Nervosa never fails to impress! We keep coming back for their mouthwatering pizzas – each slice is a perfect balance of crispy crust, fresh toppings, and rich flavor. The lasagna, though, is the true star of the menu – layered with perfectly cooked pasta, savory meat, and gooey cheese, it's simply to die for.
To top off the meal, their desserts are a must-try. Whether it’s their creamy tiramisu, or rich chocolate cake, you can’t go wrong. Each bite feels like the perfect ending to an already unforgettable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine!
