4 Star Rating fantastic location, excellent and friendly staff, relaxing pool area for a swim in between sightseeing. room was clean, bed was comfortable and all together for Paris standards spacious and well equipped. negative: the room is quite dark (I didn't mind, I'd rather have a dark room than noisy street) and the walls are very thin. you can hear people walking down the hall, talking in other rooms etc. nonetheless I'd book again!

5 Star Rating The hotel is across the street from the Louvre! Easy walk to a lot of places. I didn't rate the welcome because we arrived as part of a large group, which is always difficult for everyone. We liked our room, but several of the electric plugs did not work, and a repair person was not able to fix that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed beautiful two-story windows that opened onto one of two squares inside the hotel property. Our king bed was comfy and the room had two bathrooms. One upstairs in the sitting room, and the other downstairs in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and included a cappuccino machine. If you ask for 'American coffee', they will bring it. The concierge was really helpful!

4 Star Rating Nice hotel and very well located. The swimming pool is also very nice. The design of the rooms is a bit already old and they should make some renovations. Another thing to notice there was a weird smell in the kitchen area during our stay for all the 5 days.

5 Star Rating From the welcome to our departure the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The family room was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four (with teen daughters). The maid service was excellent - supplies always refreshed. Any request ( for an iron etc.) was done in a timely fashion. The concierge was exceptional! We would stay here again and will recommend to family and friends when they visit Paris. Great location- close to major attractions and historic sites. Thank you for making our stay in Paris a memorable one.

2 Star Rating Came for dinner. We were not staying there. They have gotten so big they can not help their clientele efficiently. It's a scene and people love that! The trendy hot spot may still be fabulous for people watching, but has removed any type of customer service. No waiter or waitress pays attention to anyone, they drop and go. You have to yell to ask for something like salt and pepper. They will remove untouched food without asking. Food was tasty, but french fries arrived cold. When we finally get our waitress running by and asked, she responds they've been sitting here for a while. Whose fault is that? It honestly took 15 or 20 minutes to get them a replaced. The excuse was the manager had to approve replacing the fries. Blah blah blah The food is tasty, but the service is horrible. No reason to put up with that.

3 Star Rating I recently celebrated New Year's Eve at Costes, expecting a luxurious experience, but was let down by a rude waitress in a gold shiny dress. Her dismissive attitude was surprising and out of place in such a high-profile venue. Despite the elegant ambiance and the presence of other attentive staff, her behavior overshadowed our evening, making us feel unwelcome. For a five-star establishment, this level of service is unacceptable. I hope management addresses this issue, as it detracted from what should have been a memorable night.

3 Star Rating Normally I am very happy to spend 28 euro on a good expresso martini and enjoy the luxury and the decor of the hotel. Sadly , this was the first time I was not allowed to have a drink at the bar for a "hotel guest only" rule. This was my fourth time grabbing a drink and I've never had the rule before. I respect it, but it could have been handled better by the young lady.

5 Star Rating Angelina was excellent. We waited approximately 30 minutes for a table but the service was prompt and very friendly. It's quite upmarket yet represents quality so the prices reflect the effort and service. I opted for the Fish and Chips whilst my partner got the chicken Caesar salad. I also got a freshly squeezed orange juice and white hot chocolate which was the star of the show. I would pin this as a great place to visit whilst in Paris and it's a stones throw from the Louvre.

5 Star Rating Angelina is a unique and luxury feeling spot to either have a little afternoon sweet treat sit down or proper lunch. You will most likely have to que a bit but it’s worth it! The rooms are beautifully decorated. The pastries they have taste so fresh and the hot chocolate is one of the best I have had, it’s such a rich chocolate taste. Service is very professional and friendly. Overall excellent experience

5 Star Rating I know this place is already too renowned however I still want to leave a review. I came alone without reservation and waited for around 40 minutes in Sunday afternoon. The bites were so much fun, the hot chocolate was remarkably rich in flavour, the interior is undoubtedly pretty. However, the best thing I experienced here is their service, they were so nice and caring to me, I dined there alone but they made me feel not lonely at all! I finished my melted chocolate with a melted heart. ♥️🇫🇷☕️

5 Star Rating This is hands down the best place to experience authentic Parisian hot chocolate! From the very first sip, it was pure indulgence—rich, velvety, and intensely chocolatey, with just the right balance of sweetness and depth. The texture was luxuriously thick, almost like a melted chocolate bar, making every sip feel like a warm, comforting hug. It was, without a doubt, the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life—a must-try for any chocolate lover!

5 Star Rating My sister wanted me to get her some things from here while in Paris because it is known for the viral hot chocolate. We ended up visiting twice. The queue for the restaurant was much smaller at 10am. It was pretty long at 3pm. However if you just want the shop, you don’t have to wait in that long queue as that’s only for getting a table. Personally I thought the hot chocolate did live up to the hype. It was so incredibly thick and tasty. I’ve got a photo where I’ve put my finger in it just so you can see how much it coats, like melted chocolate! Gorgeous. And the cakes? Oh so good!! You should definitely go.

4 Star Rating This restaurant was a random pick from the Google map, luckily we did so. Love the food there, the sashimi was so fresh which I couldn't forget about the taste till now. The spinach salad was also so fresh and taste good. While the miso fish was a bit too salty and the sushi was just normal. Overall the food was so great, the waiter recommended us a Japanese wine was good also. Just if some windows being opened or air-conditioner was turned on a bit would be more comfy. Would definitely come and visit again :)

5 Star Rating Discovering new japanese restaurants, now in Paris. Very nice location near the Place of Vendome. Decoration very minimalist but it looks good. The quality of the food is excelent, with fresh fish. A little bit spicy for me. Great service, something you can appreciate more in Paris. Expensive, but not to much in comparison with the area. Good recommendation for a nice dinner.

5 Star Rating Best discovery ever! I'm a big fan of Japanese food, and I know a bunch of japanese restaurants in Paris, but mostly little lunch spots or canteen style places and a couple trendier places for a special dinner; but I wanted to try something new as I was celebrating my master's graduation. I made reservation for a group for dinner, and I have to say it was the best decision ever! Such a nice little spot, you'd never know how big it is from the outside, as it seems quite tiny but once you're inside it's very spacious and has even a second floor. The decoration is super clean, minimalistic and very elegantly decorated. There's a fresh fish bar where you can see the chefs cutting the sashimi pieces and preparing the sushi rolls (so you know it's fresh). Make sure to order a couple of starters for the group, and then a main dish as the only downside is the main dishes don't come with sides and you might be hungry. But there are sooo many entrees to chose from anyway that it's nicr to be able to try multiple and share. The taste is amazing, very close to what Japanese food is actually like in Japan, and the staff and service is great! Our waiter even let me take multiple pictures of other plates he was carrying. I'd definitely go for a date, a celebration or a special ocassion or even when you just want to treat yourself. Next time I'll try their set menus 🤤

5 Star Rating I would first have to say that this was my first time trying Ramen ever so I would not say that my comment could not help good for everyone. I took Gomoku Ramen and my friend took Shoyu Ramen. Mine had lots of vegetables inside and their taste was very dominant for me. I really liked Shoyu more and I would advise that to the people who will be trying for the first time. The price was more than okey for that much food, it was really filling for both of us. I also saw someone got Katsu curry and the plate was full and it looked really good. I really want to try that the next time.

4 Star Rating We happened to walk by this place, and decide to have lunch with the kids here. It has a lovely atmosphere and decor, the staff is friendly and capable and the food is really good. They're really welcoming to kids as well and are very accomodating when it comes to additional wishes for the dishes (my son wanted an egg added to his salmon, for example, which was no problem at all). If you are near, go here.

5 Star Rating Came for diner, it was amazing. First the food was so very tasty. A twist on some classic dishes, with all flavours perfectly balanced. The paccheri was delicious, with some nuts bringing a bit of crunch to the dish. And the highlight was truly the dessert, it was my first time having Thai crème brûlée, I wasn't expecting to like it so much. The size of this dessert also was surprising, much more generous than I expected. Environment was also perfect, not too loud not too quiet. The service was great, waiters were very welcoming without being too overwhelming. Can't recommend enough!
