4 Star Rating fantastic location, excellent and friendly staff, relaxing pool area for a swim in between sightseeing. room was clean, bed was comfortable and all together for Paris standards spacious and well equipped. negative: the room is quite dark (I didn't mind, I'd rather have a dark room than noisy street) and the walls are very thin. you can hear people walking down the hall, talking in other rooms etc. nonetheless I'd book again!

5 Star Rating The hotel is across the street from the Louvre! Easy walk to a lot of places. I didn't rate the welcome because we arrived as part of a large group, which is always difficult for everyone. We liked our room, but several of the electric plugs did not work, and a repair person was not able to fix that. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room was very clean. We enjoyed beautiful two-story windows that opened onto one of two squares inside the hotel property. Our king bed was comfy and the room had two bathrooms. One upstairs in the sitting room, and the other downstairs in the bedroom. The breakfast buffet was good, and included a cappuccino machine. If you ask for 'American coffee', they will bring it. The concierge was really helpful!

4 Star Rating Nice hotel and very well located. The swimming pool is also very nice. The design of the rooms is a bit already old and they should make some renovations. Another thing to notice there was a weird smell in the kitchen area during our stay for all the 5 days.

5 Star Rating From the welcome to our departure the staff was helpful, friendly and professional. The family room was spacious and very comfortable for our family of four (with teen daughters). The maid service was excellent - supplies always refreshed. Any request ( for an iron etc.) was done in a timely fashion. The concierge was exceptional! We would stay here again and will recommend to family and friends when they visit Paris. Great location- close to major attractions and historic sites. Thank you for making our stay in Paris a memorable one.

5 Star Rating Elegant with touches of baroque, the décor inside this 18th-century building creates a truly special ambience. The lighting was perfectly balanced contributing to a relaxed atmosphere. While the food imo doesn’t quite justify the steep prices, the atmosphere is truly worth experiencing. The receptionists added a hint of pretentiousness, which gave me a bit of a laugh. A place to visit more for the vibe than obtaining value.

2 Star Rating came in for lunch as it was a recommendation from a friend, immediately regretted the decision. The front desk was rude, my partner and I felt like we were eyed up and down before we were told we could dine for lunch. We sat in a corner table and it took nearly 35 minutes before a waiter came to ask if wanted anything to drink. Four other sets of diners came in after us and were immediately attended to. After nearly 40 minutes, we had to ask for drinks and food. Again the staff wouldn't give us the time of day. We decided to put both drink and food orders in. Thankfully the food came out relatively fast and we were able to eat quickly and leave. The food was fine, nothing mind blowing. Have never felt so uncomfortable being a diner at a restaurant and wanting to leave.

4 Star Rating Went for their famous hot chocolate & treats. Would recommend anyone going to get a SINGLE hot chocolate & SHARE. We ordered 2 as anyone from North America would and it was ALOT! It was delicious but definitely filling. You can see from my pics it comes in a big jug and you just pour it into your glasses. Definitely worth stopping in. Beautiful inside!

5 Star Rating My sister wanted me to get her some things from here while in Paris because it is known for the viral hot chocolate. We ended up visiting twice. The queue for the restaurant was much smaller at 10am. It was pretty long at 3pm. However if you just want the shop, you don’t have to wait in that long queue as that’s only for getting a table. Personally I thought the hot chocolate did live up to the hype. It was so incredibly thick and tasty. I’ve got a photo where I’ve put my finger in it just so you can see how much it coats, like melted chocolate! Gorgeous. And the cakes? Oh so good!! You should definitely go.

4 Star Rating Long queue for dine-in. Can go straight in for take-out. Hot chocolate a bit too sweet for my liking, but had a nice finishing, though still not something I would spend 17.90€ (13.40€ at airport duty-free shop) for a souvenir to bring home. Pastry was excellent.

5 Star Rating Well, what a fantastic find and experience, I located this restaurant using the Michelin guide app and it certainly did not disappoint! The appetiser of roasted artichoke on a bed of puréed cauliflower was sublime with the beautiful fragrance of Chevril and other herbs and my main course of poached cod was probably the best fish dish I have ever had across many Michelin starred restaurants! The balance of the flavours and texture and the richness of the broth with the wild rice combined with the saltiness of the cod and the freshness of the poached tomato grilled with Parmesan on top was such an amazing combination and the lightness of the foam sauce is just delicious. This should definitely soon be one star and worth not only a detour but a special journey! Also mate congratulations to the team for being so gracious with a solo diner, friendly attentive and on point. I’ll be back!

5 Star Rating I was at Harry's Bar having a martini. The bartender overheard me talking about wanting to have a steak. He recommended L'Absinthe. What a great tip. The tenderloin lived up to its name. Best I've ever had. The salad was very nice also. An amazing dressing. My waiter recommended a type of vin rouge I'd never tried: delicieux. Then I had an absinthe as my digestif. Very tasty. You should dine here. I also appreciated the fact that they were quite forgiving about my lack of French language skills. It's got a much quieter vibe than many places along that strip of places. Something I appreciated. Go here, you won't regret it.

4 Star Rating This restaurant was a random pick from the Google map, luckily we did so. Love the food there, the sashimi was so fresh which I couldn't forget about the taste till now. The spinach salad was also so fresh and taste good. While the miso fish was a bit too salty and the sushi was just normal. Overall the food was so great, the waiter recommended us a Japanese wine was good also. Just if some windows being opened or air-conditioner was turned on a bit would be more comfy. Would definitely come and visit again :)

5 Star Rating Discovering new japanese restaurants, now in Paris. Very nice location near the Place of Vendome. Decoration very minimalist but it looks good. The quality of the food is excelent, with fresh fish. A little bit spicy for me. Great service, something you can appreciate more in Paris. Expensive, but not to much in comparison with the area. Good recommendation for a nice dinner.

5 Star Rating Best discovery ever! I'm a big fan of Japanese food, and I know a bunch of japanese restaurants in Paris, but mostly little lunch spots or canteen style places and a couple trendier places for a special dinner; but I wanted to try something new as I was celebrating my master's graduation. I made reservation for a group for dinner, and I have to say it was the best decision ever! Such a nice little spot, you'd never know how big it is from the outside, as it seems quite tiny but once you're inside it's very spacious and has even a second floor. The decoration is super clean, minimalistic and very elegantly decorated. There's a fresh fish bar where you can see the chefs cutting the sashimi pieces and preparing the sushi rolls (so you know it's fresh). Make sure to order a couple of starters for the group, and then a main dish as the only downside is the main dishes don't come with sides and you might be hungry. But there are sooo many entrees to chose from anyway that it's nicr to be able to try multiple and share. The taste is amazing, very close to what Japanese food is actually like in Japan, and the staff and service is great! Our waiter even let me take multiple pictures of other plates he was carrying. I'd definitely go for a date, a celebration or a special ocassion or even when you just want to treat yourself. Next time I'll try their set menus 🤤

3 Star Rating Unfortunately it’s losing points each and every time I go back. This review is constructive (if someone care about it) I Like the design of the dining room, isn’t very Japanese, but the bench with pillows is comfortable and the tables big enough. The menu is still the same since two years, only the price increases. It would be good to see some new dishes. The negative points unfortunately goes to the service, very cold, very inattentive, not following the guest requests. The barman decided to make a signature negroni (his signature, not in the menu) when I simply asked a negroni; when I found out, and asked for clarification, he told me After you order, the dishes come out as is ready and don’t give you the time to enjoy the hot and the cold starter separately as requested. The Otoro and sea urchin are obviously frozen and not worth the price. The rice isn’t always cooked correctly, and putting the wasabi under the nigiri of tuna isn’t correct if the guest didn’t ask for it. The dessert with aloe is the winner of the experience and the mochi are probably made from a good brand and worth the price. Important Note: managing the floor means overlooking the dining room and the guests, not the cellphone all evening.

5 Star Rating I would first have to say that this was my first time trying Ramen ever so I would not say that my comment could not help good for everyone. I took Gomoku Ramen and my friend took Shoyu Ramen. Mine had lots of vegetables inside and their taste was very dominant for me. I really liked Shoyu more and I would advise that to the people who will be trying for the first time. The price was more than okey for that much food, it was really filling for both of us. I also saw someone got Katsu curry and the plate was full and it looked really good. I really want to try that the next time.

I also tried their spicy chicken don, rice texture was good and moist! The sauce was just right for me. I like it that some vegetables were added too. Didn't really sit well w the gyoza. But the wafu salad was alright. The overall was good!

5 Star Rating Came for diner, it was amazing. First the food was so very tasty. A twist on some classic dishes, with all flavours perfectly balanced. The paccheri was delicious, with some nuts bringing a bit of crunch to the dish. And the highlight was truly the dessert, it was my first time having Thai crème brûlée, I wasn't expecting to like it so much. The size of this dessert also was surprising, much more generous than I expected. Environment was also perfect, not too loud not too quiet. The service was great, waiters were very welcoming without being too overwhelming. Can't recommend enough!
