The main course was the best, we had Normandy style fish and Cod fitters. Deducting one star because the dessert was not good, we had chefs special chocolate filled with passion fruit. It was just sweet. The interior was excellent and gave a royal ambience. No booking, just a queue which grows longer between 13:00-14:00.

We continued our tradition of eating at every historical place or museum in Europe and this one was the best. The food was exquisite, but the atmosphere makes the food taste even better. How impressive is this dining hall?! The food was divine from the cheese souffle to the duck pomentier and the secret dessert. Loved it all. Service was great as well. No reservations, so get there early and get in line. It's worth it.

What a fantastic place inside Musée d'Orsay! The Musée d'Orsay Restaurant is a stunning tribute to French culture inside the former train station.
While exploring the museum, we wanted to take a break and stumbled upon this eatery. We decided to give it a try, and we loved it! We ordered a simple dessert with some refreshments, and they were perfect. This restaurant is adorned with frescoes by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant, which make it awe-inspiring; chandeliers on the painted ceiling and gilding gave us a unique and unforgettable experience.

Fantastic! We went there on Thursday night with the late opening ticket. The main course, sea bass, is delicious, and the price is reasonable. The champagne and dessert are also good. The waiter is professional and friendly. This is going to be my must-visit whenever I visit Paris!

Convenient place to get some decent food while visiting the D'Orsay museum.
Food is just average, but the ambience is spectacular.
They use a highly processed chicken finger in the caesar salad.
Seafood dish had a strong fish smell.

Came here because of very good reviews and we are not disappointed either. The snails are really tender and delicious. The steak and the grilled sea bass are awesome, highly recommended. And the chocolate moose is always my favorite dessert.

I stopped in following a visit to the L'Orangerie. The gentleman at the front said I could dine if I left in an hour. The server was helpful and was busy throughout. The front guy was aggressive and kept loudly correcting her. The "omelette baveuse" was excellent. I asked if I could add dessert and front man gave me "5 minutes maximum". I found his behavior, even for Paris, extremely rude. I enjoyed the food but think the front needs a lot of work. The server was kind.

We enjoyed the food - the escargot as well as the porkchop with the celeriac puree were the standouts. The sea bass fillet still had several bones in it, so although the flavors were good, it wasn’t as enjoyable to eat. The chocolate mousse is delicious but because it has such a rich texture, it can easily be shared across 2 and maybe even 3 people if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The same goes for their mont blanc.
It’s best to make a reservation since people were turned away while we were dining. Expect to be seated closely to the other diners, and it can get a bit loud inside the restaurant as well. Service was good and straightforward.

Such friendly and helpful staff! The Filet de Beouf was fantastic, as was the grilled sea bass filet. Delicious.
For dessert, the Crème Brûlée was probably the best I’ve had if not top 3. But I don’t live in Paris so who am I to say.

Had a lovely lunch @ CINQ-MARS! Couldn't order more than two dishes as I was dining by myself but those two dishes were delightful! The only thing that made me feel quite uncomfortable while I was having my meal was one of the chefs in the kitchen kept looking at me - I gave him two thumbs up, but he kept looking at me several times after that...

Friends and I shared a delicious 3 course lunch in October. From the moment you enter and climb that beautiful stairway to the restaurant entrance, you know you are in for a treat! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the service warm and attentive and the dining room is so inviting. I would definitely go back for another fine dining experience.

Understated place of huge historical significance as a part of the polytechnique ecosystem. A marvelously simple menu executed to perfection. We were all pleased with this experience and recommend it vigorously. The price to quality ratio is a steal!

The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm and friendly and the food was amazing, this lovely little restaurant was right across the street from the apartment we’re staying at so we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. We had the butter chicken, the chicken vindaloo, aloo ghobi, saffron rice and some stiff generously poured whiskey and cola.

You have to feel bad for the sole staff member responsible for seating, serving and finalising your bill.
We walked in and there were 6 people in the restaurant. We got roti fairly quickly but it was probably 10-15 mins before we saw a menu and about 20 mins before we saw a drink. Food was good, though one of the samosas could not be cut: we had to bite it open. We had to remind the waiter that we were waiting for cheese naan. At the end of the meal, we had to remind the waiter after ten minutes that we were waiting on change. It was a tasty meal but the owner/manager is not doing himself any favours by having only one staff member

I really doesn't understand the reviews. The food is pretty average and far from the taste of India.

Onion Bhajji was good. Other dishes were okay okay. However, when we second time since it was near by and everything closes soon, we went just 5-10 mins late. We weren’t given a seat. Cmon, have some courtesy to offer whatever little.
Sometimes strict policies can be deferred. My take.

Excellent experience the food is executed beautifully and menu is full of choices for every taste. The wine paring was very interesting and makes you discover unique wines. The atmosphere is a combination between very sophisticated in the dining room and very swanky vibe at the bar this makes Gaya very appealing for formal and less formal occasions.
One improvement point for me would be to have preset menu not just a la carte menu.

Very underwhelming experience. Staff is nice but something as basic as taking away an empty cocktail glass took nearly 20 mins and was done after we asked for it. Food is OK, we expected much better quality for the price. 5 prawns with green beans, a couple of edible flowers and tomato sauce was around €60. I would have no problem paying that for a dish if it was not so basic in preparation. Fish for the same price had only onions on it paired with some sauce. Again, it was tasty, but it was definitely not the level of food we expected.

Almost everything was perfect, I loved my main and dessert, the wine choices were phenomenal and my girlfriend adored every course, I couldn't stand my starter (cold Jelly and fish for €48? No thank you), thankfully the rest was divine and the evening was wonderful

Incredible service, experience, and food. We had an amazing seafood experience for starters with some champagne and hope made bread with brown butter. Following, we had scallops, sea bass, and shrimp. WOW is all I can state. My favorite was the shrimp, it was incredible, slow cooked. Some amazing vanilla ice cream dessert and some apple pie. Incredible 🤌🤌😁

Walked past all the touristy places by the river and found this. It's a proper old fashioned bar brasserie - the food was great and reasonably priced, and the staff were friendly. Would definitely come back.

During our stay in Paris we visited Le Saint Germain more than once because it was located beside the place we were staying in. Couple of times we had coffee and desert. Once we visited for dinner: beef tartare and hamburger. My daughter said that was the best hamburger she had in a long time, the beef tartare was OK. The service was very good.

Nice cafe to watch St Germain go by, but super expensive. A glass of apple juice (Jus d’pomme) is €6! Same as a Coke Zero… won’t be back for food, as I’ll need to take out a mortgage to pay for it!

Food was ok by sushi standards. Service was severely lacking. Never received a drink. The servers never came back to ask if we needed anything else after the first time. The app was glitchy and everything was in French so it was difficult to navigate.

We had a wonderful last night in Paris! No problem getting in with all our bags 😅 and then the experience just got better and better! We had never been in a sushi bar, so the concept was new to us, but we quickly got the hang of it and started devouring dish after dish. As a vegan I found a couple suitable options, and had some mango for dessert as well.
Finally, we had a little chat with the employees about our travel plans, left a tip (remember to tip your servers😉), and got some little presents from the manager! Such a memorable night!
Would absolutely recommend going here during your stay in Paris :)

Everything was wonderful. The food was even better than I had hoped (we read a lot of reviews so had high expectations)!! The only thing that made it a bit uncomfortable was it was quite hot. Opening a window or two would have helped immensely. Otherwise, so incredible and highly recommend!!
JD Christiansen - a month ago
Needless to say, we’re really disappointed with all the dishes served. Nothing unique, nothing great and special about it. Very unexpected since we saw good ratings on this restaurant.
Ambience: 9/10
Service: 9/10
Food: 3.5/10
Wine: 9/10
We took the dégustation menu for dinner at 59€ per person, where the chef actually decides what to serve for the entire meal for all guests. (Which was a mistake to be frankly honest) — 2 petite versions of entrées, plats, and desserts at 59€ per person ~ not including the wine and drinks
The 2 entrées were sadly either under seasoned or blandly cold:
mushroom velouté - tastes like a normal mushroom soup, lacks salt and taste.
Veau with pecorino - not really a pleasing dish, feels like i ate airplane food
Plats:
Fish with black rice risotto and black garlic- this is the most decent dish we had that night. Pretty good, but not wow.
Volaille with mais purée and popcorn- this was a let-down. Most of our chicken was so dry, and the purée was just ok. Sauce has lack of flavor.
Dessert:
Chocolate fondant with hazelnut ice cream- best thing about this dish: the ice cream
Île flottante - we’ve had better. Again nothing special.
The only reason why i put 2 stars is for the service. Pleasant servers and always smiling.
But overall, it did not compensate our taste, experience and expectations on this restaurant, especially for the price.
It was our first and sadly it will also be our last visit here.

Great modern French restaurant in a rather subdued neighborhood filled with government buildings. The decor is Scandinavian minimalist and the food is excellent. And best of all, the prices are still reasonable for this level of quality. Highly recommended.

This is a very friendly neighborhood coffee shop run by locals who are very friendly and welcoming. I attended a language school next door and started my morning every day with delicious coffee and croissant, very fresh. Get there early, they always run out.. Their lunches are fantastic and the menus change everyday.. The only problem is that the seatings are always full.

Found this gem while heading back from Napoleon’s tomb. It was amazing, very fast service and delicious food at a very reasonable price. We liked it so much we went back again when we visited the Musée d’Orsay. The quiche and sandwiches were spectacular. Don’t miss the cheesecake, it was truly something special.

Very quick and healthy option.
Ingredients quality is not the best but for a quick lunch it is OK and not too expensive for the surroundings.
However, anything on top of the salad is super expensive.
The choice of ingredients is OK, nothing exceptional compared to other salad bars but allows you a good variety in your salads.
