Sadly I think this cute little hotel is permanently closed. I’ve been watching it for the last 3-4 years, having stayed there in 2018. There’s a plywood barrier all across the front and a keep out sign. It’s been that way for a couple of years. Too bad. We really enjoyed our stay and it’s very convenient.

Comfortable hotel in a very good location. Lovely area of Paris. Rooms are a bit tight but we were comfortable there for 3 nights.
Very comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower. Bath tub is a good size considering the room size.
Elevator is tiny but adds to the charm of the place. Great view from the breakfast terrace. Hotel staff ready to assist when needed.
I would return to this one.

A nice hotel with pleasant and helpful staff who all spoke English. Good breakfast served on the sixth floor terrace with a view over the rooftops north towards the river. The hotels location is very good, being right next to the Metro line 12 which means you can get anywhere quite quickly. Only a 15/20 minute walk through the rive gauche and over the river to the Louvre. Would happily stay there again!

Excellent price/quality ratio. Small hotel, good for people that need a quiet clean place to stay for a few nights. Excellent location, quick connection to the subway, within walking distance from most famous venues (Eiffel tower, Museum of Invalides, Arch of Triumph. The day I arrived a very nice woman was at the reception. She guided me on how to get quick to where I wanted to go - for business, for siteseeing and for the airport. I didn't try the breakfast there because I was in a hurry.
I would recommend this hotel to all people staying at Paris.

We continued our tradition of eating at every historical place or museum in Europe and this one was the best. The food was exquisite, but the atmosphere makes the food taste even better. How impressive is this dining hall?! The food was divine from the cheese souffle to the duck pomentier and the secret dessert. Loved it all. Service was great as well. No reservations, so get there early and get in line. It's worth it.

The main course was the best, we had Normandy style fish and Cod fitters. Deducting one star because the dessert was not good, we had chefs special chocolate filled with passion fruit. It was just sweet. The interior was excellent and gave a royal ambience. No booking, just a queue which grows longer between 13:00-14:00.

Fantastic! We went there on Thursday night with the late opening ticket. The main course, sea bass, is delicious, and the price is reasonable. The champagne and dessert are also good. The waiter is professional and friendly. This is going to be my must-visit whenever I visit Paris!

What a fantastic place inside Musée d'Orsay! The Musée d'Orsay Restaurant is a stunning tribute to French culture inside the former train station.
While exploring the museum, we wanted to take a break and stumbled upon this eatery. We decided to give it a try, and we loved it! We ordered a simple dessert with some refreshments, and they were perfect. This restaurant is adorned with frescoes by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant, which make it awe-inspiring; chandeliers on the painted ceiling and gilding gave us a unique and unforgettable experience.

Convenient place to get some decent food while visiting the D'Orsay museum.
Food is just average, but the ambience is spectacular.
They use a highly processed chicken finger in the caesar salad.
Seafood dish had a strong fish smell.

Came here because of very good reviews and we are not disappointed either. The snails are really tender and delicious. The steak and the grilled sea bass are awesome, highly recommended. And the chocolate moose is always my favorite dessert.
Sabrina Shi - 6 months ago
We enjoyed the food - the escargot as well as the porkchop with the celeriac puree were the standouts. The sea bass fillet still had several bones in it, so although the flavors were good, it wasn’t as enjoyable to eat. The chocolate mousse is delicious but because it has such a rich texture, it can easily be shared across 2 and maybe even 3 people if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The same goes for their mont blanc.
It’s best to make a reservation since people were turned away while we were dining. Expect to be seated closely to the other diners, and it can get a bit loud inside the restaurant as well. Service was good and straightforward.

My absolute favourite place in all of Paris! Not only is this restaurant walking distance from Musee d'Orsay, the food and service was spectacular. They have a really good lunch offer where it costs less than 20 euros for an entree and main.
The sea bass with taragon cream was my favourite! It was cooked perfectly and the sauce went hand in hand with the fish. I also loved their chocolate fondant. Served warm and all the chocolate goodness oozed out! Will definitely be coming back when I return to Paris again.

Such friendly and helpful staff! The Filet de Beouf was fantastic, as was the grilled sea bass filet. Delicious.
For dessert, the Crème Brûlée was probably the best I’ve had if not top 3. But I don’t live in Paris so who am I to say.

The grilled sea bass was delicious. There were a lot of people inside so it was noisy and children were running around. I wanted to eat some pretty dessert, but it was disappointing.

Understated place of huge historical significance as a part of the polytechnique ecosystem. A marvelously simple menu executed to perfection. We were all pleased with this experience and recommend it vigorously. The price to quality ratio is a steal!

Friends and I shared a delicious 3 course lunch in October. From the moment you enter and climb that beautiful stairway to the restaurant entrance, you know you are in for a treat! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the service warm and attentive and the dining room is so inviting. I would definitely go back for another fine dining experience.

We love this tiny gem of a restaurant and have been visiting it for years. The owner, Sudat, is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and the cuisine is outstanding - it is consistently delicious Indian food. The Jingas Madras (shrimp) and the Murg Tikka Masala (Chicken) are our favorites. There is a reason Ravi has been in business for 40 years - it never disappoints.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm and friendly and the food was amazing, this lovely little restaurant was right across the street from the apartment we’re staying at so we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. We had the butter chicken, the chicken vindaloo, aloo ghobi, saffron rice and some stiff generously poured whiskey and cola.

You have to feel bad for the sole staff member responsible for seating, serving and finalising your bill.
We walked in and there were 6 people in the restaurant. We got roti fairly quickly but it was probably 10-15 mins before we saw a menu and about 20 mins before we saw a drink. Food was good, though one of the samosas could not be cut: we had to bite it open. We had to remind the waiter that we were waiting for cheese naan. At the end of the meal, we had to remind the waiter after ten minutes that we were waiting on change. It was a tasty meal but the owner/manager is not doing himself any favours by having only one staff member

Excellent experience the food is executed beautifully and menu is full of choices for every taste. The wine paring was very interesting and makes you discover unique wines. The atmosphere is a combination between very sophisticated in the dining room and very swanky vibe at the bar this makes Gaya very appealing for formal and less formal occasions.
One improvement point for me would be to have preset menu not just a la carte menu.

Almost everything was perfect, I loved my main and dessert, the wine choices were phenomenal and my girlfriend adored every course, I couldn't stand my starter (cold Jelly and fish for €48? No thank you), thankfully the rest was divine and the evening was wonderful

Very underwhelming experience. Staff is nice but something as basic as taking away an empty cocktail glass took nearly 20 mins and was done after we asked for it. Food is OK, we expected much better quality for the price. 5 prawns with green beans, a couple of edible flowers and tomato sauce was around €60. I would have no problem paying that for a dish if it was not so basic in preparation. Fish for the same price had only onions on it paired with some sauce. Again, it was tasty, but it was definitely not the level of food we expected.

Incredible service, experience, and food. We had an amazing seafood experience for starters with some champagne and hope made bread with brown butter. Following, we had scallops, sea bass, and shrimp. WOW is all I can state. My favorite was the shrimp, it was incredible, slow cooked. Some amazing vanilla ice cream dessert and some apple pie. Incredible 🤌🤌😁

#67th in my Michelin Marathon in Paris
Forget about the fish! Judge on the results
It’s a fish restaurant. But you should not care. Yes you should, but you really should not. You should care because you’ll have great fish and seafood dishes. I had sea urchin in a way in never had before. And this why you really should not care. Because the chef manages his dishes in a way that you forget it’s seafood or fish. It’s just great cuisine. I do think that the fact that it’s marketed as a seafood restaurant does not do it justice. Of course it is seafood. But it’s not the point.
Actually, the setting is perfectly adequate. Exterior: a deep blue and white. Interior: leather, club chairs, wood, bottles and magnificent black and white dedicated pictures everywhere (I could come back just for that!). Basically outside it does say sea but inside it’s more “paquebot” or luxurious yacht where you forget you’re in the middle of the ocean. You’re just surrounded by other wealthy passagers. Speaking of which, the lunch menu is of great value.
Interestingly you could spot the part of the staff who must have worked at the main restaurant and the one that did not. Nothing wrong there. But the one who must have worked in a 3 stars were obviously a notch above the rest.
You guess it. I had a very pleasant time and my guest too.
My experience: A few days after I realized that I did not remember this restaurant as a seafood one but just as a great experience and a place where I would have lunch with my darling
A very solid one star.
Update 2022: Came back a year after. Very consistent. I may admit that I preferred the first time but I would not account on the kitchen, more on the normal variations, as the lunch menu changes regularly. I always forget that the restaurant is a fish/seafood one, but I remember that I’m in a 3 stars chef one star restaurant. And It is still a very solid one star.

It was extremely busy! Lots of tourists. We had steak tartar for lunch and pinot noir. One of the best steak tartare I ever had. I have so much respect how the waiters run the stairs up and down. Crazy!

Got seated quickly but it's a very busy place. Service was very fast and pleasant. We had the onion soup and vegetable soup for lunch. Onion soup was very good while the vegetable soup lacked Spices but was OK when adding salt and pepper yourself. Prices weren't high. Overall good experience.

I have been visiting Paris for Manet years and always stop by this place for lunch or a drink. Today was no different…I stopped for lunch with my 2 older teenage kids. Everything was as expected. Food is decent. The waiter asked me 4 times for a tip! I explained to him in English, Italian, French and finally Spanish that I understood that tip was not included and that I was NOT going to leave a tip unless the owner came to the table. He promptly finished the transaction. Will not be back. Sucks that they try to take advantage of tourist and put pressure on you. Plenty of better places to grab a bite or people watch.

Needless to say, we’re really disappointed with all the dishes served. Nothing unique, nothing great and special about it. Very unexpected since we saw good ratings on this restaurant.
Ambience: 9/10
Service: 9/10
Food: 3.5/10
Wine: 9/10
We took the dégustation menu for dinner at 59€ per person, where the chef actually decides what to serve for the entire meal for all guests. (Which was a mistake to be frankly honest) — 2 petite versions of entrées, plats, and desserts at 59€ per person ~ not including the wine and drinks
The 2 entrées were sadly either under seasoned or blandly cold:
mushroom velouté - tastes like a normal mushroom soup, lacks salt and taste.
Veau with pecorino - not really a pleasing dish, feels like i ate airplane food
Plats:
Fish with black rice risotto and black garlic- this is the most decent dish we had that night. Pretty good, but not wow.
Volaille with mais purée and popcorn- this was a let-down. Most of our chicken was so dry, and the purée was just ok. Sauce has lack of flavor.
Dessert:
Chocolate fondant with hazelnut ice cream- best thing about this dish: the ice cream
Île flottante - we’ve had better. Again nothing special.
The only reason why i put 2 stars is for the service. Pleasant servers and always smiling.
But overall, it did not compensate our taste, experience and expectations on this restaurant, especially for the price.
It was our first and sadly it will also be our last visit here.

We arrived to this place to eat at 14:00. There wasn’t enough food on the sushi line, the food that was there wasn’t quite fresh because it was on the line for too long and no one wanted it.
The food that we ordered, arrived after a few notifications to the waiter, and also we waited for around 20 minutes for it. The portions are small, the choice is poor, the waiter doesn’t speak English well.
It was a very poor experience

Food was ok by sushi standards. Service was severely lacking. Never received a drink. The servers never came back to ask if we needed anything else after the first time. The app was glitchy and everything was in French so it was difficult to navigate.

We had a wonderful last night in Paris! No problem getting in with all our bags 😅 and then the experience just got better and better! We had never been in a sushi bar, so the concept was new to us, but we quickly got the hang of it and started devouring dish after dish. As a vegan I found a couple suitable options, and had some mango for dessert as well.
Finally, we had a little chat with the employees about our travel plans, left a tip (remember to tip your servers😉), and got some little presents from the manager! Such a memorable night!
Would absolutely recommend going here during your stay in Paris :)
