4 Star Rating It was an interesting experience to try the kushiage concept (Japanese deep fried food on a stick). We took the 58€ menu to have the sashimi, sushi and palate cleanser on top of the basic 48€ menu. The frying technique was good, crispy, no soggy (except the scallop). But not much flavors lingering in my mind though, or maybe we are too used to french dishes which always pair the main ingredients with the sauce to elevate the flavors. In any case, worth a try for the concept. Ps: we really liked their green mustard

3 Star Rating It was good but did not keep up to our expectations. The service was super friendly and fast. We ordered the menu with the extra sashimi. All in all, you get plenty of small dishes. They are good but miss richness in flavor. On the other hand, the sauce given to the fried sticks, tasted like a very salty Worcestershire sauce not fitting in my opinion.

4 Star Rating We tried 58 euro menu. 1 more sashimi and Chazuke than the 48 euro menu. 15 different fried meat, vegetables and seafood. Try the Sake there to pair the fried food, it will give you some fresh feeling. The price is very reasonable for Paris. Recommend people who like the fried food to visit, but not a place for good sushi or sashimi.

4 Star Rating The sashimi was in my opinion the star of all the courses presented. The place specializes in tempura. I have to admit that everything was great to the exception of the rice soup that was too salty and some tempuras like the courgette or brocoli lacked some in depth flavors and the matcha dessert that was too sweet for my taste. The squid and the foie gras tempura were outstanding.

5 Star Rating By far most romantic dining experience in Paris. ❤️❤️ The venue was elegant and beautiful, steeped in history, with a charming staff. We dined on the third floor in a spacious room offering stunning views of the river. The food was excellent, and the waiters were attentive. We arrived early to enjoy a drink in the exquisite downstairs bar, enjoying the delicious French Kiss champagne cocktail. The entire evening was incredibly romantic, making for a truly special night in Paris as we soaked in the ambiance of the city's historic dining experience. You can make your reservation on their website which requires a credit card to secure your reservation. It was an amazing way to spend our last evening in Paris. We enjoyed reading the history of the restaurant as it was established in the 1700s. A memory we will forever cherish.

5 Star Rating The best dinner i’ve had in Paris in all my visits to this city. When you first walk in you are greeted by the hostess and to your left will be a bar area where you can grab a drink or wait for your reservation (also a good photo spot), and then you will be taken upstairs to either the second or third floor for your dinner. It was my birthday and I had requested to sit at the top floor for the live pianist (my reservation was for 8:30, pianist started around 9). The ambience of the live piano and singing really added to the entire dinner. The artist was so talented, absolutely stunning voice. The staff were fantastic with top notch service, and the food was delicious as well. For appetizers we ordered 30g caviar with blinis, smoked salmon and mini baked potatoes, and snails. For the mains we had truffle pasta (love!!!) and the chicken supreme. My chicken was a tad bit dry but there was plenty of sauce so I didn’t mind it. The pianist even played and sang me happy birthday when they brought out the dessert for me. I am so glad I chose to spend my birthday here!! Thank you for your hospitality Lapérouse ❤️

5 Star Rating At first, French cuisine was never my option. I might not have experienced it well before, but this restaurant changed my perspective on French gastronomy. The service was proper yet casual in true Parisian style, which impressed me a lot. The frog legs, duck, and macaroni (forgot the name), even the vanilla ice cream and chocolate, all exceeded my expectations and became some of my favorite foods of all time. I will definitely come back every time I’m in Paris

5 Star Rating Allard is a classic Parisian bistro that brings a taste of traditional French cooking to life. Located in the picturesque Latin Quarter, the restaurant boasts a cozy, intimate setting with vintage decor and a relaxed, warm ambiance. The menu is rooted in French culinary traditions, featuring comforting dishes like sole meunière, roasted duck, and hearty stews. The service is attentive and the wine list offers excellent pairings to complement the meal. Perfect for those looking to experience the true essence of French gastronomy in a timeless setting.

2 Star Rating This place is average and definitely doesn’t deserve the wrap that it gets, too many tourists. Everyone speaks English as a customer so that means no locals eat here, the food is average to say the least, nice but okay , hefty price tag for a very mediocre meal besides the typical French culture of wanting to kick you out as soon as possible. I wouldn’t recommend as there are plenty of nice places in Paris to eat, even if you just walk along the street. Okay but definitely no 5star service you can find elsewhere. Very disappointed.

5 Star Rating The cozy atmosphere and wonderful service made this dining experience a true highlight to our trip. The food was delicious and fresh. It was a hearty, homemade French meal. My husband had baked fish and I had a ratatouille quiche. This did not feel like a space where many tourists visit. It was a wonderful find for us and gave us a chance to experience French cuisine not too far from our hotel. The server and chef were gracious. It is a place we hope to return to someday.

5 Star Rating Great restaurant! We went for lunch and the food was amazing, and absolutely worth the little surcharges. Service was top too, always made sure the (free tap) water was refilled, table clean, and so on. The coffee was very acidic (French, normal), that’s the only thing I could complain. 5 Star Rating The food was well balanced and flavourful. The standout dish for me was the dumplings and specifically the broth and the total overall balance of the dish. The flavours worked together and it was by far the best dish of the day for me. The other dishes were good, nothing too overdone and nothing trying to be too hard to be something they are not! The staff were great and I asked them to match wines with each of the courses which they did well. Most enjoyable experience and one I will highly recommend.

5 Star Rating We came to Monk for a late dinner and since it was pouring rain outside we decided to take a table deep inside the restaurant. From our table we could see the water running down the cobblestone street and hear the thunders but we were warm and protected from the wind and cold. We had the hamburger without the cheese and beef tab with French fries. Both portions were big enough to satisfy the strong appetite. The beef was very tender and juicy. It was served with a tiny dish with caramelized onions and a small garden salad. The service was quick and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The prices are reasonable too. It was interesting to hear Freddy Mercury, Queens, The Weekend and Ariana Grande as a background music in France. We also ordered a warm chocolate dessert with a vanilla ice cream, but couldn’t finish it. It was very good, only we overestimated our abilities. 😊 We had our very late dinner and when we left around 11:00 pm and there were still people in the restaurant. I definitely recommend you to try this place.

5 Star Rating Visiting The Great Canadian Pub in Paris was an absolute blast! It was even better because I went with a Canadian friend who felt right at home. This pub is smack-dab in the heart of the Notre Dame area and offers a fantastic taste of Canadian culture in the oldest district of Paris. The vibe at this place is super welcoming and upbeat, making it the perfect spot to catch a sports match, whether it's hockey or football. And let me tell you, the terrace is something special. It's such a chill setting to watch a game while soaking up the Parisian atmosphere. Now, let's talk about the best part - happy hour! The timing couldn't be more perfect, with great prices that don't skimp on quality or experience. It's the ideal opportunity to mingle with locals and fellow visitors while enjoying the pub's top-notch offerings. And the food, oh boy! The poutine was absolutely mouthwatering, with the perfect blend of flavors and textures. And don't even get me started on the wings - they were cooked to perfection and seasoned just right. Pairing them with a Canadian beer made for a truly authentic and satisfying meal. The Great Canadian Pub is an absolute gem for anyone craving a taste of Canada in Paris. Whether you're a Canadian, a sports fan, or just looking for a chill spot to unwind with good food and drinks, this place ticks all the boxes. I can't recommend it enough for its fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and that amazing terrace setting.

2 Star Rating The atmosphere looks good at first when you look around until you meet the bartender... what an attitude 🙄 This is called a "Canadian" bar and has 1 Canadian beer on tap, which is a beer from Montreal that isn't well known outside Montreal. I did not try the food because I got so much attitude from the bartender when I asked where all the Canadian drinks were I left! If you're going to call yourself a Canadian bar, at least smile and carry Canadian products. As a Canadian traveler, this was a disappointment...

5 Star Rating Wow, the poutin with pulled pork was awesome! Whilst I say this, I don't believe it was the pub itself is great value - definitely more for the tourists (like us) poutin was E17, half a pint of beer around E7! Great service though with very friendly staff. TVs galore - if you're after watching sport, where ever you sit in the place, you will be viewing a screen! TLDR - good tasting food, but not the best value...
