We ate here in NYE 2024. The set menu was four courses and delicious. High quality, beautifully presented, and reasonably priced. We might not have chosen the specific courses in our own, but it was an opportunity to try authentic French cuisine. The service was impeccable but not stuffy or pretentious. The restaurant is on a beautiful street on Ille St Louis. Highly recommend.

A cute place in st.louis my sister went to before and decided to return together. We all enjoyed the dinner very much, friendly services and great dishes. The whole place smelled like truffle (which I love but not for some other people). Had an artichoke salad and duck fillets. Really well cooked and seasoned. Highly recommend.

We've been there on a Friday evening for dinner. The food was delicious. We ordered the food of the day option and a vegetable plate, both are recommendable. The service was fantastic, very fast and friendly.

Classic. Chic. Great food. The service was excellent and friendly. Whether solo, family, group or couple... this lovely charming place is worth a visit.
Over Christmas they had a nice set menu that will leave you satisfied and full.

Perfectly acceptable classic French food, however for the price I would have expected a bit more imagination and inventiveness with the food.
Also worth noting my Steak Entrecote was a lot tougher than you would expect. I have to admit it was an excellent creme brulee though.

This was our first time managing to get a reservation and it will not be our last!! The food was fantastic! The service staff were impeccable and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a romantic movie scene! Would recommend setting a reservation at least two months in advance. We were a group of 6 adults and no one was disappointed with their meal choices! This restaurant is being added to our list of dining events every time we are in Paris! Definitely recommend!

We walked in (3 ppl) and managed to get a table for drinks and light lunch and we were so happy we did!
First of all this place is incredibly uniquely decorated- very old school classy, red carpet and vintage silver pieces. It’s amazing.
We had the cheese plate and some other snacks along with drinks, all tasted incredible. 11/10 would recommend.

Everything was just on spot.
The food, the atmosphere, real bistro.
WOW. I’ll definitely will be coming back to this restaurant.

I am sorry to give this restaurant less than 5 starts, but I have to. At first I wanted to give 3 - only because of the host.
The food was very good, nice wines, the restaurant is gorgeous, but the host was so unpleasant.
We walked in around 7pm and asked for a table. He went inside to “check” if there are free tables and told us that everything is reserved and he sit us outside. We were fine with the outdoor table, it was a very nice evening, but the funny thing is that he kept sitting all the tourists who came after us outside, keeping the restaurant inside empty the whole night.
Not sure if those are the directions that he was following or what, but really didn’t make us feel welcome. With his attitude he made us feel like we don’t belong there. The scene with him “checking” the tables inside was so unnecessary…
Other than that, everything was very good and would recommend this restaurant to everybody.

Amazing service here, the staff is super friendly and accommodating. The place is absolutely stunning - with some of the best ceiling work I’ve seen in my life! The food.. where do I even start! 10/10 highly, highly recommend. If you’re on the fence to the truffle, please, do yourself a favor and order it!!!

Great place owned by an Italian who waits himself. He’s extremely amicable and attentive. The portions are very generous, I especially recommend seafood linguine. A bit on the pricey side, but totally worth it.

Absolutely fabulous❤️🤌🏻
This place has my heart! I haven’t tried the mains on the menu yet! I always go for pastas and they are irresistibly gorgeous! So delicious and Al dente just the way it should be! Nice, cute, tiny and cozy place. You must really be stupid if you have leftovers in your plate by the end of your meal😌
Staff is super friendly!
Service 10/10
Ambience 10/10 (I personally love it)
Food 11/10
Oh, and make sure you don’t leave the restaurant without having any desserts (even if you have diabetes or not😉) Panna Cotta is your love at first sight and it should be illegal to leave without having tiramisu!
They are pretty generous with their portions. After all, its an Italian restaurant💁🏼♂️
Can’t wait for my next pasta day🥰🥰
This is my favourite Italian restaurant in Paris!

Beautiful Italian food - every dish was prepared with love, using quality ingredients, in a truly convivial atmosphere. The owner, Enrico, is a gem! If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Paris then you simply must visit Don Giovanni. A fantastic, flavourful and fresh antipasti, sumptuous pasta and, to top our meal off, one of the best panna cotta’s of my life!

Honestly incredible experience, service and food last night. The singing was outstanding!!!! We went with our 3 year old daughter too and they were very accommodating and went over and beyond to make us feel comfortable which I have heard is unusual in Paris at dinner service with kids. I had a very special birthday here would 100% recommend.

We were there last week for a pre-Valentine's day celebration and it was great. The food, music and atmosphere were really outstanding. It was our second time being there after a few years and it did not disappoint. They continue to maintain a high standard.

Food is fresh and delicious. Our waitress Donna had given us good recommendations of dessert, they were excellent !
The singers sang some extraits of opera among us. The best moment was at around 10pm when they invited everybody to sing together.
A nice souvenir for our birthdays.

This place was one of the highlights of my trip to Paris. The decor is theatre-like with heavy curtains, and the nice red lamps on the table. The welcoming staff is nice and smiling. We went on a Wednesday and had the full lyrical menu for half the price. We loved being “serenaded” with arias of different, well-known opera plays. They took especially good care of an old gentleman who had his birthday that night. The food was truly good, full of flavour. I would definitely recommend this place!!!

The atmosphere was soooo good! Opera singers are definitely professional and engaged, also passionate!
Don’t give too much expectations for the food but the show is worthy

It's a good small Japanese themed restaurant in Paris. We ordered the Arc en ciel, Dragon, and Shake California rolls. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food tasted really good, and we were served with a smile. I recommend this restaurant.

We were nicely greeted by what seemed like the owner of the restaurant and the waitstaff. We ordered two bottles of Pinot Noir which were delicious. We ordered the French onion soup and the scallop tartar which was the special, both were yummy. Then we ordered the steak tartare, and another special which was the fish and carrots the mushroom pasta and the steak ribs. We were told the steak ribs was sold out which was fine so we went with the crock Monsour. The steak tartare was under seasoned and lacked many classic ingredients. The Crock monsuir egg was completely raw however was yummy. The linguine was extremely under-seasoned and lacked flavour and the fish special with the carrots was honestly inedible. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was lovely but a miss from us.

Les Fous is beautiful inside, exactly what you want from a French brasserie. We enjoyed our meal, however they were understaffed, so we had several long waits. The menu is traditional French.
French Onion soup was lovely. The entrecote was disappointing. Steak tartare was very good. Wine list was excellent and the wait staff were lovely, they just needed one more staff member.

Go! If your experience was like ours you, will love it. The menu changes often and is on chalkboard in French and English. Our server Jean was our friendly and knowledgeable guide through this delightful meal. It was the perfect meal for our last night in Paris.

I arrived at this establishment upon the recommendation of a close acquaintance, with the intention of indulging in a delightful dinner featuring cake. The venue itself, as well as its concept and decor, exude a remarkable level of creativity. Although the menu was concise, it offered an array of excellent options complemented by a select assortment of impressive wines. Furthermore, the atmosphere encapsulated a sense of tradition, and naturally, the location was impeccable.

This place was highly recommended by a Parisian friend, and we had high hopes. While it was good, it was not as great as we were hoping. For starter, I had the asparagus soup, which was delicious. For my main, I had the fillet mignon, which, much to my surprise, was almost cooked "well done." I always like beef cooked medium rare and never had to be too specific about this in France, but this was an unhappy accident (maybe its because they seem to be catering mostly tourists that ask for disappointing well done steaks ?). For dessert, I had a chocolate cake, which was a massive disappointment - dry and unremarkable - something that would only be fit if this would be someone's first cake.
The service was great, and the sommelier gave us some very good recommendations.

We went for the crème brulé BUT stayed for the experience of it all!! The wine paired perfectly with our food. The gnocchi was to die for, quite literally, needed a 5 minute break to introspect all the flavours we went through. Absolutely coming back here again!! Super friendly staff too, taught us how to pronounce this odd wine name. Hope he got the dog pic he was after 🤝🏼

We came here for a nice night out, and ended up being one of the worst experiences I’ve had with Parisian food.
We order our dishes. The onion soup was tasty, not great but okay. Then the main dishes came. My dish was something different from what I had ordered. When told the waiter and he stated “oh yes, but they are both chicken” (the dish they brought and what I had ordered were both chicken dishes BUT NOT THE SAME DISH). I kept it to be nice to him even though I was pissed at his response. The chicken was inedible, so dry I had to drink water after every bite. Flavorless. To my surprise when the check came, he charged me for the dish I originally ordered which was WAY more expensive and not for the dish they brought me instead. I realized after I left so I couldn’t say anything.
I would never come back here, they just take advantage of tourists. Big no. Terrible service and terrible food.

Service was the least good thing. They were not attentive even though no one but myself and 1 other was there. Not only were they inattentive but they did not seem to care. However, the gelato was good and the atmosphere was not bad since it was empty. I had the place to myself which was nice.
Maurielle C - 9 months ago
The gelato was quite good. Be warned, however, that it is extremely heavy and almost as filling as an entire meal. I got the specialty vanilla and carmel in a cup. It tasted pretty good but wasn’t very exciting. This is a nice place to stop but don’t get anything too big because it won’t sit well with you.
Yuri Sunderland - 8 months ago
I absolutely love their generosity and the endless variety of flavors they offer. My personal favorites are mango and chocolate – both are rich, vibrant, and utterly satisfying. In the past, they also had black currant (cassis), which was such a unique and delightful option. I really hope they bring that flavor back someday; it’s one I still think about! Their dedication to offering something for everyone is what keeps me coming back.

Lined up for far too long, in the blazing heat, for what was supposed to be the highest rated gelato around. Was it good? Yeah sure it was. Was it the best gelato I've ever had? No, I don't think so. Was it worth waiting in line for 20minutes to get my hands on? Probably not. If you're after a gelato shaped like a flower, that you can eat in the street (only 3 seats inside) and have got a lot of time on your hands, then this might be for you.

Beautifully decorated French restaurant. We came in during lunch and it was empty, it got full later. Great service, and we had a really good meal for a good price, considering how expensive Paris is.

This is a brilliant spot for some authentic French food. The waiters were attentive and the service excellent. My friend and I had the fixed menu which was great value - starter, main, cheese plate and dessert.
Will definitely return when I'm back in Paris!

We had a wonderful dinner here, even without a reservation. We shared a salad that we paired with a rose, then also had a fabulous red along with our dinners, ending the night with an aperitif. Our server was great, spoke English (merci!), and was attentive. My husband is gluten free and lactose free and they were able to explain which items he could eat and which could be modified for him as well. So glad we ate here.

After reading the reviews I had high hopes. It's too bad, because the location and decor/music are nice so expectations are high when you sit down. Now, after a repeat visit this summer, we had a much better experience at Vache than a few years ago so I'm updating my review. The food and service are quite good and the ambience is lovely. Be aware that the place is a tourist destination so if you are looking to avoid that, be forwarded.

Au Bourguignon du Marais remains a popular spot for both locals and tourists. The service was friendly and efficient, and the portions were definitely generous! Came here based on the Google reviews and it did not disappoint. I think for the price and location, you'd be hard pressed to find better value for certain types of food in the middle of Paris.
We ordered the Onion Soup to start and it was pretty flavorful. The beef stock was balanced by the sweetness of the onion. Cheese was crispy.
My partner ordered the Bourguignon and I the Tartar. Both were very tasty. The former had a nice depth of flavor with the lardons adding a salty kick at the end of each spoon. The latter was flavourful with just enough horseradish to keep the palate amused.
Only gripe was that a large bottle of mineral water for 8 euros is a tad steep. Would have ordered wine instead if we knew.
Would visit again.

Excellent wine (Savigny-lès-Beaune), excellent lamb shank (very tender and delicious combination with carrot puree), tasty traditional Boeuf Bourguignon and tasty snails. We will surely come back to eat and drink there.
Mention: we did pay about 80-90 euro / person solely because of the wine bottle, otherwise the food would have amounted to roughly 35 euro / person.
