We continued our tradition of eating at every historical place or museum in Europe and this one was the best. The food was exquisite, but the atmosphere makes the food taste even better. How impressive is this dining hall?! The food was divine from the cheese souffle to the duck pomentier and the secret dessert. Loved it all. Service was great as well. No reservations, so get there early and get in line. It's worth it.

The main course was the best, we had Normandy style fish and Cod fitters. Deducting one star because the dessert was not good, we had chefs special chocolate filled with passion fruit. It was just sweet. The interior was excellent and gave a royal ambience. No booking, just a queue which grows longer between 13:00-14:00.

Fantastic! We went there on Thursday night with the late opening ticket. The main course, sea bass, is delicious, and the price is reasonable. The champagne and dessert are also good. The waiter is professional and friendly. This is going to be my must-visit whenever I visit Paris!

What a fantastic place inside Musée d'Orsay! The Musée d'Orsay Restaurant is a stunning tribute to French culture inside the former train station.
While exploring the museum, we wanted to take a break and stumbled upon this eatery. We decided to give it a try, and we loved it! We ordered a simple dessert with some refreshments, and they were perfect. This restaurant is adorned with frescoes by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant, which make it awe-inspiring; chandeliers on the painted ceiling and gilding gave us a unique and unforgettable experience.

Convenient place to get some decent food while visiting the D'Orsay museum.
Food is just average, but the ambience is spectacular.
They use a highly processed chicken finger in the caesar salad.
Seafood dish had a strong fish smell.

We love this tiny gem of a restaurant and have been visiting it for years. The owner, Sudat, is warm and welcoming, the service is friendly and the cuisine is outstanding - it is consistently delicious Indian food. The Jingas Madras (shrimp) and the Murg Tikka Masala (Chicken) are our favorites. There is a reason Ravi has been in business for 40 years - it never disappoints.

The atmosphere was cozy, the service warm and friendly and the food was amazing, this lovely little restaurant was right across the street from the apartment we’re staying at so we decided to give it a try and we weren’t disappointed. We had the butter chicken, the chicken vindaloo, aloo ghobi, saffron rice and some stiff generously poured whiskey and cola.

You have to feel bad for the sole staff member responsible for seating, serving and finalising your bill.
We walked in and there were 6 people in the restaurant. We got roti fairly quickly but it was probably 10-15 mins before we saw a menu and about 20 mins before we saw a drink. Food was good, though one of the samosas could not be cut: we had to bite it open. We had to remind the waiter that we were waiting for cheese naan. At the end of the meal, we had to remind the waiter after ten minutes that we were waiting on change. It was a tasty meal but the owner/manager is not doing himself any favours by having only one staff member

I really doesn't understand the reviews. The food is pretty average and far from the taste of India.

Came here because of very good reviews and we are not disappointed either. The snails are really tender and delicious. The steak and the grilled sea bass are awesome, highly recommended. And the chocolate moose is always my favorite dessert.
Sabrina Shi - 6 months ago
We enjoyed the food - the escargot as well as the porkchop with the celeriac puree were the standouts. The sea bass fillet still had several bones in it, so although the flavors were good, it wasn’t as enjoyable to eat. The chocolate mousse is delicious but because it has such a rich texture, it can easily be shared across 2 and maybe even 3 people if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth. The same goes for their mont blanc.
It’s best to make a reservation since people were turned away while we were dining. Expect to be seated closely to the other diners, and it can get a bit loud inside the restaurant as well. Service was good and straightforward.

My absolute favourite place in all of Paris! Not only is this restaurant walking distance from Musee d'Orsay, the food and service was spectacular. They have a really good lunch offer where it costs less than 20 euros for an entree and main.
The sea bass with taragon cream was my favourite! It was cooked perfectly and the sauce went hand in hand with the fish. I also loved their chocolate fondant. Served warm and all the chocolate goodness oozed out! Will definitely be coming back when I return to Paris again.

Such friendly and helpful staff! The Filet de Beouf was fantastic, as was the grilled sea bass filet. Delicious.
For dessert, the Crème Brûlée was probably the best I’ve had if not top 3. But I don’t live in Paris so who am I to say.

The grilled sea bass was delicious. There were a lot of people inside so it was noisy and children were running around. I wanted to eat some pretty dessert, but it was disappointing.

Understated place of huge historical significance as a part of the polytechnique ecosystem. A marvelously simple menu executed to perfection. We were all pleased with this experience and recommend it vigorously. The price to quality ratio is a steal!

Friends and I shared a delicious 3 course lunch in October. From the moment you enter and climb that beautiful stairway to the restaurant entrance, you know you are in for a treat! The food was delicious and beautifully plated, the service warm and attentive and the dining room is so inviting. I would definitely go back for another fine dining experience.

I was pleasantly surprised. We booked for New Year’s Eve river cruise with entertainment.
The food was great, the service was quick and the atmosphere was good. The sound system for the singer was poor at times but that didn’t take away from the evening too much.
Tablets were quite close together and we were placed on a table of 8 with no other English speaking guests. There were however other English speaking guests located around us… this isn’t impact too much and was a timely reminder that I need to brush up on my French.
We took the metro out from art1 to the dock which took no more than ten minutes. The walk to the dock from the station took five minutes at most.

The Paris Seine, a river as synonymous with elegance as it is with romance, offers an experience that transcends mere sightseeing. A cruise along this historic waterway is a journey through the heart of Paris, where the city's rich tapestry of history, architecture, and culture unfold with each gentle turn.
Embarking on a Seine river cruise, one is immediately enveloped in a sense of timelessness. The iconic Parisian skyline, punctuated by landmarks such as the soaring Eiffel Tower and the majestic Notre-Dame Cathedral, is a testament to the city’s unwavering charm. As the boat glides smoothly along, the rhythmic lapping of the water against its hull provides a soothing soundtrack to the visual feast.
The crew aboard is as polished as the city itself, offering impeccable service that complements the grandeur of the surroundings. With a glass of champagne in hand, passengers are invited to relax and take in the vistas from the comfort of their seats or wander to the open deck for an unobstructed view.
The magic of the Seine is perhaps most palpable at dusk. As the city lights begin to twinkle, Paris transforms into a dazzling spectacle. The reflection of the illuminated bridges and buildings dances on the water's surface, creating a mesmerizing interplay of light and shadow that is nothing short of enchanting.
Dining on the Seine is an experience in itself. The gourmet meals served aboard are a celebration of French cuisine, with each dish carefully crafted to delight the palate. From delicate pastries to rich, flavorful entrées, the culinary offerings are a perfect accompaniment to the visual splendor that surrounds.
In conclusion, a journey on the Paris Seine is an invitation to experience the city of lights in its most quintessential form. It is a spellbinding blend of elegance, history, and romance, and an unforgettable chapter in any traveler's Parisian adventure.

The price is affordable for a cruise diner at 6:15 but we can not see the sparkling of Eiffel Tower in summer time. The reflection of the glass made photographe not easy.
Food: my chicken main course was dry and tasted a bit strangely. The starter and dessert are fine.
We had taken the option of champagne and 1/2 bottle of water per person. I don’t know if it is half bottle of what quantity. We were 10 and we got 2 bottles of one liter water only.
The service is fine and the singer is nice.
I had a better experience with another company.

I booked a dinner cruise. Boat was the Safir. It was on Bastille Day. Checking in and boarding went smoothly. I was alone on a work trip and stuck in a very awkward corner. Felt like I was in a time out. I had paid extra for a bay window seat and technically I was by a window .... I had to ask the wait staff twice to swap my food because I am vegetarian (purchased that option) but they kept serving me meat and fish. For dessert they gave me their standard chocolate Eiffel Tower thing which I never tried because they took all my silverware and when I mentioned this they took the dessert away. There were other issues. I booked this rather expensive cruise to view the fireworks. We "docked" onto another boat and my "view" became the side of that boat. Outside there was limited seating, smoking, fumes... the engine was running the entire time. Many stayed inside to avoid the air. I jockied myself to a position with a view until the fireworks started and a crew member stepped out onto the outboard area and took photos and videos I assume for himself and blocked my view and the views of several other paying passengers. Not worth €200. I debated fishing my €50 tip out of the tip jar I had optimistically donated to when I boarded the vessel. I'd definitely go with a different company in the future. This was the only outfit that still had tickets when I looked and now I know why 😕

Portions are a little smaller but the food is amazing. Recommend doing family style because we got to try a ton of different food. We had the fried veal with potatoes (amazing and crispy), pappardelle noodles with bolognese sauce (both pictured below and so tasty). We also ordered the fish, ravioli and creamy tagliatelle. Everything was soooo delicious and we ate it all up. The food came out fast too which was great because we were hungry.

Best Italian food I can remember eating! We started with Jamon and Melon, which was fresh and delicious. The fresh truffles on handmade pasta was amazing. We also tried the handmade Tagliatelle, the tiramisu and the dessert du jour. the street is beautiful in the setting sun, great servers, nice quiet location, and everything was delicious.

A little overpriced for what it was, but overall a pleasant experience. The staff is very friendly, pasta was flavorful and plentiful. The appetizers were okay, but the portions were very little considering the price. Tiramisu was alright - there was a bit too much egg white.

we ate in three people, each ordered a different dish. all were tasty, let's say - correct, without any fireworks. these came when paying - the sum was significantly different from the amounts shown in the card. such cheating does not build the reputation of the place.

Just had dinner here, the food was amazing - the snails are must try! Also the lamb shoulder and the cockerel, but the best was our waiter Olivier, he made the atmosphere a 11/10.
Definitely give it a try

Make a reservation before coming!
Food: 4/5
I got the lamb shoulder with dauphine potatoes. Paired with the gravy it comes with, both were absolutely incredible. I just wish they had more of the gravy. Rated it lower because the lamb was a bit dry without the sauce. The bread is also great to eat with the gravy.
Service: 2.5/5
Was greeted quickly and even though I had a reservation, they sat me at the bar. I requested a table instead and they re-sat me in a better location. Everyone was rushing though which makes you feel rushed as well which I did not like. They also brought out the bread (meant to be an appetizer) AFTER they brought my main out, probably because they forgot. Also, I asked one of the waiters for the wifi password and before I could finish my sentence, he interrupted me and quickly said 007, then proceeded to talk to another table. If I had been hard of hearing or didn’t catch it, I wouldn’t have been able to ask him again. I’m giving them some grace as I did go on Dec 26 so it was busier, but the way they rushed did not leave a good impression on me at all.
Atmosphere: 5/5
It was a smaller restaurant and in a good location, however I would not come here again and probably wouldn’t recommend it.
