We had such a wonderful stay at Le Bristol, thank you for the warm hospitality and excellent service throughout the hotel which goes above and beyond!
A special thank you to Ivan for the warmest welcome and enjoyable tour around on our first day it was the perfect start to the trip! Thank you to Guillaume for your attention to detail and for the updated Parisian guide on what is new and exciting!
The breakfast was truly a delight and the crepes in Café Antonia were the best I have ever had! We also loved the wonderful choice of restaurants within the hotel as well as the location.
Thank you for a beautiful and memorable time!

Why do we love this hotel! From start to finish everything is five star. The
rooms are classic but modernized. we had a junior suite and there was plenty
of room. Plenty of closet space and the shower. Space and pressure is
excellent. It’s a modern thermostat so easy to control the temperature.
But is the staff that really makes the difference. Professional but not
stuffy, very friend friendly helpful and even when we called them back from
the airport upon leaving with a “crisis“ they made excellent follow up. As
far as dining, we never miss Epicure (see separate review) and it is a must.
We also dined twice at 114 Faubourg and I have to say as far as fish, it’s
the best (and largest) sole I’ve ever had. And they make a great martini,
however you request. Recognition goes to Ivan at check-in. Did a great job
of making the hotel feel like family and a very special shout out to the
Bellman Mohamed Ait Boufousse. We departed on the day that many of the
streets were closed and cars could not get to the hotel. He loaded our
luggage onto a cart and “literally” went the extra mile all over Paris,
cobblestone and roundabouts included, until we could find a street that was
open to connect with our Uber driver, which he coordinated with by cell
phone. I’m sure it was a first for him as it was for us. Overall just a
great hotel both structure and staff!

Best Luxury hotel ! this is a real Luxury place. it means that its not only fancy but it still has a sense of classy elegance, which is rare nowadays.
Service is very good. Excellence doesnt exist anymore because style and knolwedge of how to serve properly with real technic is vanishing . higher standards have been lowered accordingly to quality of staff.

From the moment you step into The Bristol magnificent lobby, you are overwhelmed by elegance, lavish and sophistication that are simply unmatched. The Bristol hotel exceeds a rare charm, a stunning classic Parisian architecture with modern luxury.
The hotel staff were the definition of professionalism, greeting me (and my team) with warm smiles and providing exceptional service throughout my stay. They were extremely attentive to each detail, not sparing any effort to meet properly my special requests and always with a personal touch.
.
The imperial suite was on of a kind for comfort and luxury, especially after its complete renovation. Generous space with stunning views, a plush king-sized bed and a marble bathroom complete with high-end toiletries. The attention to detail was evident in every corner, from the crisp linens to the ambient lighting.
No need to emphasize on The Bristol hotel location which is unbeatable. Highly secured, nicely nestled in the heart of the city, it's just a stone's throw away from iconic landmarks like the Louvre, the Opera Garnier, the Concorde, etc….. The hotel also offers a high-end concierge service that helped all of us.
Special thanks to Katia, Laurence and Loïc for their availability, kindness, readiness to render possible all our exceptional requests always with a smile and efficiency. Soraya & Léa were of great help too as well as duty managers.
Highly recommended that hotel !

Expensive and noisy. A lot of people during week days lunch. It's good and tasty, but for 4 times less money, and more quiet, I prefer to go to Monoprix, and to eat at my office.

This large place is rare in Paris. I had nice experience here. The food is simple and fresh, good WIFI, clean and I love the design and interior of the shop. Perfect place to eat and drink something simple.

There is a much better way to spend 20€ for a lunch. A small Lasagna box cost 10€ (even if it doesn't look like actual lasagna).

We have just tasted two different types of eclairs which were eclairs with chocolate and eclair with coffee. Both of them were the most qualified eclairs I’ve ever tasted which were mild in taste and definitely you feel like eating more and more. I can honestly say that I fell in love with this taste!

To be fair, their desserts and hot chocolate are amazing. Unfortunately, the service doesn’t live up to the expectations. The desserts were served on a saucer instead of cake plate.

Beautiful place, the atmosphere is ravishing and refined. Loved it. The pastries I tried did unfortunately not move me. The opera and the roulé noisettes were good, but somehow too creamy. Taste was masked by the amout of cream.

Beautiful shop, breathtaking presentation of the food, exciting experiments both on the sweet and savoury spectrum. We came here on a Monday morning to enjoy a good quality breakfast. The reason why I am giving only two stars is because everything that happened after we passed our order was a disappointment. We sat down outside, as it was a gorgeous autumn morning. We received our teas in two paper cups destined for espressos and not for teas! Our food arrived in plastic containers and we were given plastic cutlery. What a shock! You think you are in one of Paris' fanciest teahouses, and you are obliged to use disposable materials... We asked for normal cutlery and a proper tea-pot and were refused because we were sitting outside. I wonder if they are afraid that you'll run away with their things or what... It took several attempts on our side to have at least a proper amount of water with the tea. I would have expected a place like this to take more pride in how they serve their teas and their amazing food. Paper espresso mugs that contain just enough water to make the tea leaves wet (because apparently the personnel is not trained on how much tea should go in one of those white bags) is not at all acceptable in my opinion. What a pity, so incoherent with the impression the entire shop conveys... I won't even mention the fact that I wasn't given a small plate/container to put my teabag on, so I had to put it on the table where it was leaking all over the place... Attention to details even outside would be welcome!

Quickly served with a lovely menu that changes daily. It tasted fresh even though it was warmed up to serve. Nice size desserts to go with it and it all tastes great!
Only downside I would say is that it's a shame they use so much disposable plastic, I would think real cutlery and more sustainable dishes would be a big improvement!

Superb discovery. While passing through Paris for a friend's exams, we went to eat in this small restaurant. It offers very complete hot meals and cold meals, with desserts. There food is fresh. The staff are lovely. Great time spent on their terrace.
There would just be a lack of toilets for customers.

It's fresh, the prices are correct however the water is really not good, so yes, it must come from the tap but this is also the case in other establishments and it doesn't have that unpleasant taste .

I liked everything. The super warm bosses. The mysterious waitress who smiles discreetly like Mona Lisa. The service where we let you digest a little between two dishes instead of sending everything out as quickly as possible to free up space. The korozott was divine. This is my madeleine from Proust le korozott. I felt like I was going back to my childhood. The same korozott that my grandmother made (minus the decorative fillet, I won't spoil the composition for you, it was a great marriage of flavors, a very unexpected marriage). The porkolt ditto. We could really taste the taste of Paprika which we only find in Hungary (I despair of finding one like that in France or on the internet). I wasn't hungry for dessert anymore, but when I saw the next table, obviously I changed my mind! Gingerbread caneloni with lemon cream. Divine. And the icing on the cake is they have illy coffee (I hate Richard coffee). In short, I'm going to be one of the regulars :) I recommend you try this restaurant. I forgot... I also tasted the excellent plate of homemade smoked salmon, langoustines, homemade tarama, homemade blinis. The salmon was meltingly tender...yum! Supporting photos of empty plates ;)

To even say it was a fantastic dinner would not even begin to explain this place. It has the best service from the time you sit down to the time they call you a taxi. From the wine pairings to the caviar, I have never had a better dinner. The tasting menu is a walk-through culinary wonderland. I highly recommend and hope to go back when visiting Paris again.

One of my favourite restaurants in the world with a great captaincy by Mr. Fréchon. The service is exquisite and delivers a personalized experience with spot on recommendations and explanations. The food is outstanding with a great balance of innovation, creativity and tradition. A great respect for the ingredients in their cooking techniques, combinations and presentation.

To breakup our run of Michelin dinners, we decided on a lunch that offered the same full dinner menu at Epicure. I figured that it would be a long lunch which turned out to be a four and half hour lunch. Yes, the longest lunch of our lives. And it was worth every single minute!
The restaurant inside Hotel Le Bristol is gorgeous. We were met with a beautiful arrangement of flowers and rugs of pinks and violets. The warm reddish tones continued into the dining room where we were greeted with warmth by the staff.
The food here was exceptional with not a single course veering off in excellence. It ranged from the signature caviar with potato mousseline smoked in haddock with buckwheat crips and sour cream dressing, full of umami to the perfectly cooked langoustine in lemon and thyme, onion mango and broth flavored with coriander and citrus fruits. The candele macaroni with black truffle, artichoke and foie gras filling in parmesan cheese, and black truffle juice reminded of a similar dish at Acquerello in San Francisco in visual appearance and ingredients.
Out of the entire lunch full of numerous courses, there were three highlights. The salmon from Scotland in powder of tandoori spices, fennel and cucumber with mint oil and rice vinegar was stunning. Simply, it was the best cooked salmon I’ve ever had in my life so far. If salmon is this good in Scotland, I wonder what other types of seafood exists in Scotland… Before this, the best salmon I had was from Alaska. The hen breast poached in a bladder was incredibly moist that it cut like butter and the green asparagus with morels that accompanied it in a wine reduction with crayfish and golden chanterelles with Xeres was incredible. I immediately had a flash back to the piece of chicken served at La Grenouille in NYC some 16 years ago which was the best I’ve ever had until this dish. To continue this momentum the trolley of macarons and chocolates were incredibly flavorful. I believe she said that the macarons were made on the premise every day. We love macarons and to hear my wife say that these are the best macarons I’ve had so far brought immense joy.
To mark our honeymoon, the staff spread red rose petals and an edible sugar sculpture on our table during dessert time. They were genuine, warm, attentive, and clear professionals at hospitality. They made us feel special and well cared for throughout our 4.5 hour lunch for a very memorable experience.
Merci beaucoup, Epicure!

Crab, langoustine, and Bresse hen. Champagne and Mersault. Honestly the best meal of my life. Just purely delicious French food. Huge wine list with bottles at a very fair price (at least by USA standards). Lots of 'freebie' courses even when you order a la carte. Shout-out to Raphaelle and Axel for the memorable and attentive service.

We enjoyed our dinner there. It was 5 of us with different expectations but we all left the place satisfied.
The service was great and the food was delicious. Wine was a bit expensive and nothing to rave about. They have a limited menu but there's something for everyone, including vegetarian folks.
It is a small establishment so recommend making a reservation.

Located inside Le Bristol Hotel, this is an elegant chic brasserie with a Michelin star (as of 2024). The cuisine is traditional French with modern twists and touches reflected both in the recipes, garnishes and plate arrangements. Service is very attentive and friendly, accustomed to international clientele. Elegant and vibrant atmosphere with modern decoration and tableware. The pâté en croute is spectacular. Leave space for their excellent desserts.

Enjoyed a lovely dinner with friends. Food was delicious and definitely the reason for their Michelin star. The artichoke soup was wonderful especially with the foie gras, while a little more foie would have benefited the dish, the one bite I had with it was perfection. The pigeon was also perfection as was the lobster bisque.
We had younger children with us and they were very accommodating, They had a special kids menu, and when that wasn't enough even allowed us to go off menu for one of our more pickier eaters.
While the staff was very friendly, the service was a little lacking such as not re-placing a napkin when someone would temporarily leave the table, but this is commensurate with a one star establishment.
All in all a great meal and evening.

Also thanks a lot Mr. Jeanne for all the setting.

Excellent service. Delicious food.
However, I’d put a slight music on the back as we came for Xmas night, but during other days it’s fine.
We also took 2 bottles of champagne (Pierre Peters and Pierre Moncuit 2005, both blanc de blanc) which were excellent and rich in taste, I recommend them instead of well-known brands.
Definitely will come back :)

We dined out six nights while in Paris and this is by far the best restaurant we ate at. Dishes were prepared with passion and thoughtfully served. Each plate has its own story and the ingredients are coming from local farms. One can taste the difference. Love the place that serve Michelin star food and are not pretentious. Octopus for appetizer and Rose fish were amazing. This is a must stop for us in the future. Thank you. 🙏

Le Bistrot Du Sommelier offers an exceptional dining experience, blending exquisite French wines with top-notch service. The atmosphere is intimate, with cozy seating that invites guests to relax and enjoy their meal. The staff, led by a highly knowledgeable sommelier, expertly curated wine pairings for each course. Their recommendations, including a Muscadet and a Bourgogne, were spot on, elevating the flavors of each dish.
The highlight of the meal began with an octopus appetizer—so fresh and perfectly cooked that it didn’t make it into the photos! The main courses, as seen in the photos, showcased fresh, high-quality ingredients prepared with precision. One standout dish featured beautifully tender cuts of meat served over a rich sauce and accompanied by earthy mushrooms and vegetables. Each bite reflected the chef’s commitment to market-fresh ingredients.
To cap off the evening, the chocolate pastry dessert was indulgent, balancing richness with a delicate finish. The meal ended with an incredibly thoughtful touch—the staff, noticing the rain, insisted on escorting us to our cab with umbrellas, ensuring we left dry and smiling.
Recommended by the renowned Les Frenchies travel guides, Le Bistrot Du Sommelier lives up to its reputation as one of the best dining spots in the 8th Arrondissement near Champs-Élysée. It’s a perfect choice for anyone seeking not just a meal but an unforgettable Parisian dining experience.

This was the BEST dinner we had in Paris. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and the service was outstanding. Philippe the chef/sommelier/owner was there over looking all the details. The people dining there appeared to be locals, another testament to the quality of the place. We selected the set menu with wine pairings. He asked us what our like and dislikes were in order for select the dinner. Every selection he made for us was like he read our minds. The wine pairings were exceptional, he even gave us a second pour of one of our favorites. As good as dinner was, the highlight of the evening was when he gave us a personal tour of his wine cellar located under the restaurant. Wow, after many years of collecting, he had quite a cellar. Many coming with stories he shared with us. Thank you Philippe for a memorable evening in Paris

Although the place was literally full we were kindly greeted and seated at a window table (without prior reservation).
Our waiter was prompt and eloquent and the food was just in the spot.
The enflamed souffle was a pleasant surprise, so simple and so good.
Will definitely return the next time we are in Paris.

I was looking for a place with delicious ris de veau, and this place was it! The sweetbreads was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The sauce complemented the sweetbreads perfectly, with a hint of lemon. Dessert here is also good. I just wish they had duck with orange sauce here, then I would come more often! Relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. I will definitely go back.
