Stayed for our anniversary 20 years after our first visit to Paris and the hotel is incredible. Lovely touches in the room and breakfast was so good. Most of all of you get to meet beryl on reception count yourself lucky. She is a real credit to the hotel... Just wish we could afford to come back again......

Very charming and welcoming hotel in a very ritzy area. The hotel staff has been nothing but helpful and friendly, from the reception, to the concierge, to the bar tender and everyone in between. Plus getting to play with the two resident cats is a treat on its own. We will definitely be back next time we come to Paris. Their breakfast buffet and amenities are also top notch.

My Paris dreams came true during our stay at Castille. We were blown away by our room; it was absolutely stunning and chic. The French windows, pillow menu, wonderful aroma throughout the hotel, delicious chips, and endless treats made our experience unforgettable. We had an incredible stay at Castille and would definitely come back. Highly recommend it if you’re visiting Paris!

The Castille is a lovely 5 start property! We fully enjoyed our stay. The staff was professional and friendly. We shared that our room was cool and immediately they offered to change our room or bring us a heater. We chose the heater and found after a while our room was more than comfortable. The bar area is nice and cozy, the breakfast buffet was fabulous! I am planning our next trip. Special thanks to front desk receptionist Santiago and Abraham, excellent customer service.

Cute hotel in a great location, but not quite what I would consider 5 star. Despite advertising 24 hour room service, that was not the case, no hair conditioner in the room until my 2nd day, very basic mini bar and cold coffee being served at breakfast were some examples of where this hotel fell short of 5 stars to me. All that said, nice staff, good sized rooms and great location.

Good place , but I hated that the toilet is separate from the shower and sink! Imagine using the toilet then need to open tow doors to wash your hands.. there is no slippers, rope, tooth brush, water, or coffee corner.. if you need boiling water you need to go to the lobby to have one otherwise they will charge you for room service if they bring it to you.. the last thing about the open buffet I didn’t like it at all ( eggs, yogurt, cereal, mini croissants, sausages, and a small plate with 3 type of cheese only!! ) and it was pricey

You know you are at the right place if you end up having a drink in the bar with the King & Queen of xxx (trust me on this one). Rooms comfortable, hotel beautiful and walking distance from all the main attractions. Paris! You are special!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Hotel staff are top notch. Wonderful experience.

Stayed here for 3 nights end of summer and really liked it. Excellent location close to many attractions. Staff was great, helpful and friendly at every turn. The room was a superior double with extra bed. Regular rooms look small. The only issue was English TV channels mostly didn’t work and were confined to news only. They have an option for screen mirror from your device but didn’t work on our Apple phones. Bring a chrome cast is my suggestion. Other than that my suggestion for the hotel is to install USB ports for charging, pretty standard these days. One cool feature was a metal window screen which slides down and fully blocks the window. Aside from the little above issues I would very much recommend this fine establishment.

This has become one of our go-to restaurants in Paris. It's very close to our hotel and the food is consistently good. All the pizzas easily feed a person (usually with a slice or two left over) and some are quite large (they actually bring them out on 2 plates because 1 isn't big enough).
My pizza was one of the large ones. The crust was thin and the edges were slightly more done, which I prefer. They were also able to accommodate my dietary prefernces by leaving off the cheese as I don't eat dairy.
The service is really good, as well. We have one server that we love because she's so helpful and attentive, but we've never had bad service.
I recommend making a reservation, as they are always quite busy. And while they may be able to accommodate you without a reservation, you will likely be subjected to a deep sigh and what I like to call the Paris "I can't believe you didn't make a reservation" eye roll. 😁
I highly recommend brecommend this restaurant for pizza.

The food was so delicious here. It’s predominately Italian food but done very well. The pizzas are huge and pasta’s just the right serving.
The restarting is set in a small quiet courtyard which made it perfect for families with children as they could run around opposite the restarting without risk of being run over by a vehicle or scooter.
The outdoor area is full of majority smokers however tables are far enough apart to not impact you too greatly if you don’t like it.

We had some of the best pizzas in Paris at this restaurant. We were with friends who are regulars here. Given the generous size of the pizzas, we ordered two pizzas for four people to leave room for dessert or maybe another dish, as we've heard the rest of the menu is also excellent.
Unfortunately, the experience was marred by the service. The waitress, visibly stressed, responded to us that the owner no longer allowed pizzas to be shared. She then added "Is this for an appetizer?". This made the moment quite awkward. Unfortunately this attitude somewhat spoiled the experience, which is a pity considering the quality of the pizzas.

A nice casual restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating in a small square off the main streets - a great spot to enjoy a bite to eat and drink.
We ordered the pizzas which were large and very tasty. The drinks list is extensive and the staff are friendly and attentive.

A modern-style refined Italian restaurant, this establishment has a high class atmosphere and on the quality of the cuisine it provides it certainly delivers. The Frettuccine al Pesto Genovese is a stand out for me, and the Tiramisu I shared was absolutely delicious. If you're staying around the Palais Garnier this is a dining experience I wholeheartedly recommend.

Arrived on a late Friday evening. Wife and I had the tartare, (the largest) escargot (we’ve seen), onion soup, and the bone marrow. We enjoyed each and every one. It was pleasant service and chill laid back vibe.

One of the best dinners I had in a while! Fantastic classic French food with a very cool and inviting atmosphere. We were very lucky to get a table without reservation, but I recommend making one in advance. Really good service, friendly and fast. Escargot and Flan were the top hits for me, although everything we got was very good.

La Maison de la Truffe in Paris is a delightful restaurant that offers a culinary experience like no other. One standout dish that deserves special mention is the foie gras with truffle. The combination of these two luxurious ingredients creates a harmonious symphony of flavors that is simply divine. The foie gras is rich and creamy, while the truffle adds an earthy and aromatic dimension to the dish. It is a true delight for the senses.
Another noteworthy dish at La Maison de la Truffe is the gazpacho. The refreshing chilled tomato soup is bursting with fresh and vibrant flavors. The gazpacho is expertly crafted, with the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. It is a perfect choice for a hot summer day or as an appetizer to awaken the palate, there was one slight miss. The cucumber sorbet, although unique and refreshing, was a little too sweet for my taste. The sweetness overpowered the natural freshness of the cucumber, resulting in a slightly imbalanced flavor profile. However, this small hiccup did not detract from the overall dining experience.
Lastly, I must commend La Maison de la Truffe for their impeccable use of truffles throughout the menu. The truffles were consistently on point, elevating each dish they appeared in. Whether it was shaved over pasta, infused in sauces, or delicately incorporated into desserts, the truffles added a distinct and luxurious touch that truly set this restaurant apart.
Overall, La Maison de la Truffe is a must-visit restaurant in Paris for truffle enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With their exceptional foie gras with truffle, delightful gazpacho, and impeccable use of truffles, this restaurant offers a memorable dining experience that will leave you craving for more.

Loved it! We went on a Tuesday night so it wasn’t very busy, anyway service was on point and the food was excellent.
A must try while in Paris.

This shop specialises in truffles. From the truffle infused olive oil to the fettuccine served with freshly shaved truffle,I would say that it’s one of the better experiences I had in Paris.
Serves were kind towards visitors. They were also attentive in between dishes.
We had the starter that had a brie cheese stuffed inside a rice paper roll and it was delicious.
The fettuccine was cooked to al dente and the sauce was creamy.Could do with a little more salt .The foie gras was cooked perfectly.
Clean establishment and portion was great.Highly recommended for a special occasion.

This unique place makes excellent dishes with truffles.
However, I would like to give a lot of credit to a young waitress that did all she can for having a great meal.
I do not know her name but she helped with organizing a seat although I did not reserve in advance, and she recommended excellent dishes. Thank you so much!!!

We love Indian food and have tried six or seven different places in Paris over the last decade. Mahatma was an excellent choice when looking for a nice lunch near our hotel. We enjoyed lamb samosa, cachumber salad, grilled vegetables, garlic naan, chicken korma, and tandoori tikka lamb chops. We shared a bottle of Graves Bordeaux that was great with the food, and I had a nice Mango Lassi.
The staff were courteous and attentive.
We sat outdoors under the shade canopy and it was comfortable.
This was not fine dining, but the experience met all of our expectations completely.

First time at Mahatma and it definitely was an amazing experience! Dishes are delicious and very nicely presented, staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is super cozy and stylish. Ideal for those looking for a lunch or dinner of outstanding quality just steps away from Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Perfect for cocktail lovers too. 10/10, highly recommended!

Lovely tasty authentic food. My roti was so soft and flavorful! The dahl was spicier than expected but very flavourful nonetheless. The seating was pretty and the ambience was great.

The food was okay, I Ve eaten better Indian but it was still pretty good and the location itself was really nice, very central. The service not great... We got in pretty late and the waiter pushed us to order and eat quickly..

Absolutely unbelievable food. The butter chicken was the best I've ever had in my life, and everyone else loved their meals too. The staff was genuinely friendly and welcoming; we just spent two weeks touring France and this restaurant has the nicest staff of anywhere we've been. This place was an absolute joy to eat at. I would give it more than five stars if I could.

What a treat! After a bizarre weekend of terrible service and disappointing experiences even at places where I am a regular (I live here in paris…), we chanced upon écluse not only open but with wonderful live acoustic music. The service was particularly lovely, even when it was clearly our mistake in ordering the wrong thing, they happily changed it - with a smile! What a welcome respite on a chill afternoon in place de la Madeline. A perfect way to finish our outing for the day.

very fast and efficient; and the food was lovely! my partner had a lasagne, and i got a pizza from the shop next door (still toto) which they cooked in front of me and brought over when it was ready. would highly recommend, but beware of the influx at around 12:05-12:15 of all the business people coming for lunch! proves that it’s a lovely and tasty place :)

What can I say, just a stunning restaurant, great service, extraordinary flavors, I haven't had such a good culinary experience in a long time, we took the 4 course lunch menu, we got 4 stunning dishes, each one of a kind, and in addition, beautiful appetizers that only make you want more. In addition, the price was completely fair and the value For money was very fair highly recommend

I enjoyed the 8 course experience on September 3rd 2024. Words cannot describe how amazing the food and atmosphere was. Everything was absolutely top notch, from the art on the ceiling to the placement of books in the bathroom. Each course had the perfect balance of flavor, texture, temperature, and presentation. Emanuel was outstanding and went above and beyond. Thank you to the Akrame team for an unforgettable night. Everything was magical.
