Wonderful trip for the wife’s special birthday! Hotel incredible, great room (we had an upgrade), and the accompanying restaurant was a great experience on our final night. The staff here are very friendly and welcoming, exceptional!
Super location - the street is full of excellent bars, bistros, and wonderful patisseries - yet is not noisy and bustling! The Eiffel Tower is within easy 10-15 minute walking distance and the hotel is 4 mins walk to a main Metro station.
A perfect trip!

We recently stayed at Hotel Thoumieux and it was an amazing experience. We were there for 7 days Feb/March 2025. Rooms were beautiful, service was prompt and food was delicious. Location is ideal as it is at walking distance to many cute little shops, restaurants and the metro. In addition, it’s walking distance to the Eiffel Tower and it’s a clear view as you walk out of the hotel. Would definitely recommend and stay there again. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful weekend stay. The interior is beautiful and the service was very welcoming. Our son studies at a school nearby and they showed great support for our son allowing him to use the hotel lobby as a workspace outside of our visiting times. The location in the center of Paris is perfect too. We will definitely come back here on our next Paris visit.

Hotel Thoumieux is decorated in a retro style, with nostalgia for the good old days. The service is great, the staff is very friendly. Each room has its own style and mood. The beds and pillows are beyond description, you are in heaven! From some rooms you can see the Eiffel Tower. Pets friendly 🦮Highly recommended.

The best food I had in Paris! Each dish was balanced in flavor and texture. The staff were so kind and fun!
Thank you for the experience!

Incredibly lovely staff, a chef that clearly takes pride in his food, and such a gorgeous view at night. Stumbled on to this place for a weekday dinner and we were absolutely ecstatic! The perfect egg was one of the best I’ve had. Lamb melted in your mouth. Small wine list but great options by the glass. Highly recommend and we will return as well!

This is the best meal I’ve had in Paris! The food quality was superb. The offerings were simple but on point. Vegetarian and fish options were not an afterthought. They were perfect. Beautiful presentation, and best of all, the service! What more could I ask for? I will be back next time. I am in Paris.
An additional note. This restaurant is one block away from a busy corner and gives you a calm atmosphere of a quieter environment just one block away from the bustling city.

Delightful meal for our last night in Paris. Scallops especially good. Loved the service
Michael Cree - 2 weeks ago
Disappointing experience. The place was large but empty when we arrived and we assumed it was early. The waitress was trying her best to get the bill as high as possible without offering options or recommendations. We were ignored for at least 15 minutes before being allowed to order. By the time we finished there were only 2 other tables occupied. All of this may explain why the place was empty.

Such a delight. Service was so friendly and willing to explain about the food and make recommendations.
The wild boar stew was so delicious.
My husband had quenelles of fish in a cream sauce which may sound odd to an American palate but was genuinely delicious.
We really enjoyed every moment.

It’s is pity that photos of classic dishes rarely look as good as those of modern ones. Yet the explosion of flavours that we experienced here last night reminded us that the constant race for what comes next is not always an automatic solution to providing the deep and intense pleasures that what came before can so often provide. Fantastic experience!

Got here at 8pm but somehow left at 10:50pm not because we were enjoying our time, because we were waiting for our food to arrive.
The bread, butter, cheese and desserts was good. However, we ordered the yellow wine chicken and we were left disappointed with our food. Considering we were paying €39 for our food we expected the food to be more flavourful and the meat to not be so dry. The food was also relatively cold and considering we waited so long we expected it to be more fresh.

Unfortunately, our experience at this restaurant wasn’t the greatest.
Firstly, we highly recommend making a dinner reservation; otherwise, you’ll have a long wait for a table.
When my partner and I were seated, we found ourselves extremely close to our neighbors. The person seated inside had no way to get in and out without moving the table, which was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. It was also difficult to get the staff’s attention as they were extremely busy, and when we did, the service felt very rushed.
Food-wise, the escargot and foie gras tasted nice but weren’t amazing or refined. The veal kidney dishes are certainly not for everyone, especially foreigners, so make sure you know what you’re getting. The French fries that came with the main dish were cold by the time they reached the table and soon became inedible. Their famous soufflé dessert, although light and fluffy, was too sweet for our liking, making us wonder why it's so popular.
Overall, we felt the experience wasn’t worth the price. If you do decide to go, make sure to make a reservation, specify your seating requirements, and be prepared for a busy and noisy environment, especially at dinner. Oh, and unless you’re willing to pay €8 for a bottle of still water, just ask for tap water.

The cozy little restaurant has a great atmosphere and is a wonderful place to experience French cuisine. Both waitresses were very warm and provided excellent service and the dishes were delicious. However, make sure to book a table at least a day in advance! At least during my stay in Paris, they were very busy every day.

The restaurant got a nice cozy interior. The service is good. The seafood pantries is rather fluffy and light. The chicken leg is stuffed with olives, it is rather tasty and not too greasy. The meat is tender.
The dessert is good, the roasted almonds are crispy and chunky, and the ice cream is smooth and creamy. We had a good time, thank you.

Really enjoyed our dinner here.
Good food and good service. We didn’t have a booking but were lucky we got the last table available.
We ordered the escargot and cream soup for starters and the Sirloin and the sea bream.
The sea bream’s exceptional.
Spent about 40 Euro per person.
Probably best to make a reservation if planning to dine here.

We made reservations for 2, we arrived and they wanted to seat us at a high table with other people. They offered us a table for 2 upstairs next to the bathroom. The person that took our order was very curt and dry. I ordered a risotto and asked to bring with out entree and she brought it as a starter. First of all it was not a risotto just rice swimming in broth. I told her on one of the occasions she rushed up that it was meant to be eaten with Entree…she left it there cold and did not bother to ask if I wanted heated up or anything. The only thing I can say is that the wine, bread and butter were very good. Steak for 2 was very hard outside and chewy. Very disappointing!

Came in for the desserts and coffee. The service and location were very good.
For the dessert we got the cheesecake and soufflé. Both were OK but I didn’t enjoy the soufflé as much as I enjoyed the cheesecake. I felt like the soufflé was too light and was lacking flavors. As for the coffee, it was way below average.

Overall this experience was decent at best.
We went expecting a very good meal (seeing the prices) but were pretty let down by the food. We ordered the dim sum, the eggplant, and the avocado tuna.
The dim sum was our favorite, it was very very good, but it definitely did not bring enough to get filled up.
The tuna and eggplant were not as good, but still decent. The burrata tasted fresh and was runny on the inside but the eggplant wasn’t great.
Service was also subpar for the price as we had to wait a long time for everything (even water)
Overall a decent experience but not worth the price

This was my first meal in Paris after getting off a 12 hour overnight flight and it was sublime. Sitting outside on the terrace on a warm summers day was exactly what I needed to bring me back to life. The atmosphere is divine. The staff were nice. And meal was fresh and light.

Wonderful experience and delicious food! The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We called to book a table at the last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The duck was awesome with the perfect portion size, the wine was wonderful, and the souffle was heaven! The waitstaff was attentive, knowledgeable, and personable. I highly recommend Le Florimond!

Warm, welcoming establishment with exceptional food and hospitality. Our favorite restaurant of the trip. The stuffed cabbage and duck were exceptional- savory and sweet. The fig dessert was a perfect end to a lovely evening!

We have lost count as to how many times we have dined at Le Florimond. Lori and I bring our family to Le Florimond when we are in Paris. This restaurant features home style french food. It's like eating at your French Grandma's house. Our favorites included Grandma's stuffed cabbage and the mille-feuille. Rather than try to choose a wine let Laurent do it for you. Laurent is the manager of the dining room and our friend. I have reservations about revealing Le Florimond to the masses, I don't want it to get so crowded by tourists that it looses its charm. Send our regards to Laurent and enjoy an authentic French dinner. We are once again on the way soon.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Perfect for my partner who is coeliac, who loved the gluten free options (even more choices than had been on the website!) The non gluten-free options were also delicious.
Service was great - they very graciously humoured my atrocious French - lovely atmosphere, they brought out complimentary nibbles, and the price was very reasonable too. Strong recommend.

The food was pretty good. I had the sirloin and with the crispy goat cheese for an appetizer. However the dinks were overpriced and didn’t taste great. The service was great and the food came out fast though. It’s nice that it is a good restaurant close to the Eiffel Tower.

Lovely place and atmosphere. The food was good but a little overpriced. The service however was not great. Our drinks took a very long time to come and the waiter had to come back to remember what we ordered a few times. When my food order came it was incorrect and the fries that I ordered never came.
If you sit at one of the outside tables you can have a beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower.

Hidden treasure not far from Eiffel Tower.
We wanted a break from classic French food and soo happy we stopped in.
Beautiful ambience, friendly servers and delicious food made for a truly delightful and memorable dinner in Paris.
Everything was freshly made and served hot (spicy & temperature).
Appears to be a favorite spot of locals, staff knew many of the otherdiners by name.
Staff were attentive so they made us feel like we were regulars.
Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for something different from the French classics

Great ambiance, friendly staff. Spoke English, were very polite. My two year old was with us and they were very sweet to him. There were no high chairs so if your child is used to eating on high chairs, this maybe an issue. My son sits with us on regular dining chairs so we had no issues with adapting. Flavors were good. I had the steamed fish which I hindsight o wish i didn't. It just was not the kind of thai food I enjoy and I love Thai food. Serving sizes for the Price were too small and that's the only reason for my 4 star rating but I guess prices are reflective of the up scale feel they are going for.
Tom yum Soup was yummy, the crispy shrimp dumplings were really tasty even my son ate it.

The ambiance of the place was pleasant, and the staff were incredibly friendly.
The food was served quickly, and the recommended dishes were spot on.
We tried the duck dish, which was absolutely perfect—10/10, incredibly flavorful and juicy.
The onion soup, also a 10/10 and highly recommended.
The flank steak had a delicious sauce and was enjoyable overall, but it was quite chewy inside, despite being cooked to a good medium level.
Apart from that, everything else we had was excellent.

What an amazing treasure in the heart of Rue Cler! Cozy, welcoming, and wonderful, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The staff was so helpful, spoke very good English (our French was not so good), and offered a variety of suggestions. The French onion soup, crouque monsieur and the tiramisu were all delicious. The menu was very reasonably priced. This meal and the staff were one of the highlights of our Paris trip! The experience left me wishing I lived around the corner and could visit frequently, it was that charming. If you are nearby, you must stop in for a bite. You will be glad you did!

The duck confit shepherd pie special was good but I did have to add more salt. The soup was decent but seemed chicken instead of a beef base. Disappointed by the beef bourgogne which I expected more of a stew style.

The food here is good overall. The escargot (half a dozen for €16) is a little over priced as I’ve had better value near the Arc de Triomphe, where a dozen costs only €18. However, the onion soup here taste better
