What a wonderful restaurant! We chose to have dinner there, and it was quite an experience. The place is super beautiful, with elegant yet cozy plate presentations, and the food is delicious. It's been a while since we had such a delicious fish dish. The service was impeccable; Emma and the rest of the staff treated us like royalty. Highly recommended for all occasions!

Reviewer visited from Singapore.
This was our first dinner on our Paris holiday, as we wanted some old school Parisian bistro fare to start trip off with a bang.
We were recommended to eat here at the end of our last trip in 2023. Unfortunately, during that visit we could not find the time to squeeze out a a meal here. So, we vowed to come here when we visited Paris again.
Unfortunately, we were not very impressed, and when we looked back at our Paris holiday meals as a whole, Benoit unfortunately ranks the lowest out of all our meals.
The service and atmosphere score full marks but the main event, the food, left a lot to be desired.
It’s not that it was prepared badly it was that it was very pedestrian/regular. The flavors and dishes fell short of our expectations and didn’t really surpass in any aspect at all.
This is especially so when one takes into account the amount one might spend and the quality of the food. There was definitely a mismatch in this regard.
We spent about €100/pax with no drinks.
Unfortunately, unless we hear from someone we trust that they improve the food significantly, we will not be back again.

Food is good and we love the dessert of Fontainebleau. There is not much services and we have to pour our own water when glass empty. Recommend to try the food.

Beniot was a great experience. I can see why they have a star. The people working are so friendly and it feels like you are really have a French cuisine experience in a French restaurant. The food is great, and the fois gras was very good. They also gave us homemade Madeline’s at the end which I thought was a really nice touch! I had a great time.

The food was rich in flavours and the service was very friendly and professional.
The interior design suggests that you will have a genuine french experience, and the food along with the wine are there to confirm that.
The snails and the scallops gave us a fresh and earthly quality of flavours and aromas, while the calf's brain was rich, accompanied by an amazing sauce.
I would definitely return to try more of the menu.

Great place to get compose-it-yourself salad at the foot of the Tour St Jacques. Lots of ingredients to choose from to put on top of a self selected base.

After walking for a whole day, I walked into this cafe because of yelp review. And it is great. Great cheese cake. They don't have English menu but the waitress was very helpful with the translation.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

The perfect dining spot to see Paris from on high. Being able to dine and watch the Eiffel Tower light up was a vacation highlight. The venue is chic and gorgeous. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious, with generous portions.

Very Disappointed by Le George’s
We chose Le George's for our honeymoon dinner because of its reputation for great views. Despite reserving a table with a view of the Eiffel Tower well in advance, our night was a letdown. Our table was at a window so covered in schmutz that we could barely see outside, the window next to it was obstructed by a large pipe, and next to that was the wall. We asked for a different table and were just moved to a slightly bigger table with the same poor view.
There were empty tables with the view we wanted, but we were told those were reserved. It didn't make sense because we had reserved one too. The service was just okay—they rarely checked on us. My wife didn’t even get the side dish she ordered; they took away her rice but forgot the spinach she ordered with her steak so she ended up with no sides at all.
The food was just average and didn't justify the high prices, which are supposed to be for the view. But without the view, it’s not worth it. I’m sharing a picture of our view, note that it was not raining so it's not water on the window, but some kind of dirt or chemical smudge.
I wanted to warn others so they won't have the same disappointing experience we did on their special days. It's hard to understand why we weren't seated at one of the several completely open tables with a view when we made the reservation weeks in advance.

We had an incredible evening. My friends visiting from the USA said it was the perfect way to top off their paris vacation. The server was incredible , he paced the food properly and the right amount of engagement throughout the meal.

You have to understand something before coming.
You are not paying these crazy amounts of money for the price of food... food wise, it is so normal.
But the atmosphere, the service, and the view are amazing.
It is good to go to a fancy restaurant once in a while.

Good crepes and okay service at an affordable price. However, the galettes are served with salad and a very strong dressing which covered a lot of my galette giving an unwanted and overpowering taste. Besides this, it’s a nice crêperie, well located with good views.

Delicious crêpes!
Very feeling and satisfying. The many is quite broad so we can fined them numerous choices of savoury galetes and sweet crêpes.
The prices were around 8/10€ per dish.

We were taking a stroll through the neighborhood and were feeling like having an evening snack. I found this place on google maps and walked around the corner to it. We ordered the ham and cheese savoury crepe ( a flavour combination I can never tire of) and poached apple and icecream sweet crepe. We wiped it clean in probably under a minute ☺️

Our friend who is from Paris told us we couldn't go to Paris without going to his favorite creperie, this place. Just wow! He was right, this place was so delicious and the best crepes we've ever had. We each ordered one savory and one sweet crepe, as recommended by our friend, and had some beers to go with our meal. We loved everything about this place from the outdoor seating to the service to the food. We had a wonderful time and will come back when we visit again. Highly recommended!!

Delicious crepes and correct prices, nice cider too! The place seems to always be crowded so if you want to sit outside, make sure you pop in the restaurant and let the staff know.
The service is praiseworthy. I was served by a lady who took my order nicely and even talked about the mural and the Stravinsky fountain with me.

Good thing they speak Spanish. Not all places that sell food from a Spanish speaking country speak Spanish so that’s good. They charge you 5 € euros if you want to use their outlets to charge your phone, ridiculous! Workers are nice and friendly. Mojito had almost no alcohol, disappointing. The place is cute and ok if you’re around the area. The empanadas and potatoes are not great and quite small, understandable for the area I guess. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. But maybe just to give it a second chance.

Expensive and quite bad tapas made without any love.
Our Hotel host recommended to go there - why we gave it a try. We run away after 20 minutes to one of the lovely and great restaurants nearby.

why not Spanish ?
the Restaurant located in the street full of bar and restaurant.

delicious tapas and paella, octopus salad....enjoying Spanish foods in Paris.
Staff is very busy...need more patience to waiting order like other Parisien Restaurant, when they ready they will came to you...😄

Rock bar, with some emo notes! Music is nice but it also has some interesting decoration! Of course beer is a must but it also offers more types of drinks and food! The general area of Les Marais is full of people from all backrounds and cultures, colour and sounds! It's worth a visit, even more than the area of Montmartre, as you can see the city from above in many more efficient ways regarding time and money! Before visiting Paris, make sure you have a detailed plan of traveling and sightseeing as it might be too much for a couple of days. About 6-9€ per drink which is normal for Paris! Many kind people ready to help and the stuff is most joyous too!

Wonderful bar and restaurant with a metal music theme! The staff is absolutely charming and exceptionally accommodating! The food is phenomenal and highly recommend everything on the menu! Some of the best steaks we have had in France! Not to be missed!

If you like death metal, you have to eat dinner here or grab a beer here. In fact, everyone should.
I’m actually not a death metal fan but came as an open minded adventurous person. This place is the real deal and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.
If this was a common jazz bar the line for the food would be wrapped around the street, and/or reservations would be booked out for months. It’s a secret gem in Paris.
Now, I have to say, it is still a secret because it is a *legit* death metal bar and restaurant. If you want to blend in wear all black and maybe spend a few months growing out a thick beard. (Pro tip: Grab a Shining t-shirt). It’s worth it!!
Meat was tender not fatty. The meat was imported from Argentina. The dipping sauce was flawless with the slightest hint of spice (not too much). The potatoes were the best, most potatoey, yellow potatoes I’ve ever had. There isn’t a near second I’m considering, I just know it was the best potatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. The dish I ordered was called “the threesome” on the English menu.
I. am. stunned. Absolutely excellent.

Very awesome bar! Cool decoration, good music and good beer.
Edit: In light of their response, perhaps we had a misunderstanding. Still leaving the original text below, and I'll add that the bar was very welcoming.
Fairly certain me and my girlfriend got kicked out of the restaurant section though, so maybe not a very tourist friendly place (we were obviously dressed as tourists, and we speak no French; never expected to stumble on this place). YMMV.

Great place! Friendly staff, nice people, tasty beer, good music, ... One thing I really appreciate: music volume is very low, so it's possible to socialise at normal voice levels.

I went on a Monday night and had a great experience. It is true that not many tables were taken, so it was a slow night, but the waiter that looked after me was really nice and attentive. Got me an English menu, checked if they had what I wanted (they did) and would check in on me regularly.
The food was also really good. I had the tuna tartare and the pavlova and they were both faultless.

I had the beef tartare and green beans. Superb! Our server was so kind. Let us taste several wines. Helped us with our French pronunciations and gave excellent recommendations. He made my birthday dinner exceptional! I wish I could remember his name. Nice young man studying marketing! Thank you all!

Warm service and great food suggestions. I tried the watercress soup and was thoroughly impressed. My salmon was also delicious. The skin had the perfect crunch and flavor. The pesto sauce/lemon complemented the dish completely.
The dessert was the final hit. I wished my kids had better table manners but I understand that the chocolate sauce covered giant profiterole was too good, the kids had to devour it as fast as possible...
We finished having the best meal in Paris together.

Found this place our last morning in Paris. Glad I did as it's a little gem.
Sylvie took our orders and when our food came we were all impressed with the presentation and, more importantly, quality of the food, the taste, everything about it.
Oh, and the cafe lattes we ordered were served in a big bowl hot and frothy!
Thank you Sylvie, your English is perfect. 😊

A nice restaurant located in Paris 4eme. The day we visited I phoned to book the table, as the typical thai, I asked if they speak thai but the answer was no, and he asked me if I phoned to request for the job??!! I told him that I just need to reserve a table, he seemed to understand but before I hanged up he asked me again if I was searching for a job? It was the first bad impression!! After we arrived, I felt better a bit ‘cause the ambiance was good, the decorations were nice, the restaurant was clean, the waiter was polite. I ordered a main dish but my my friend took a menu so she got an entrée also. They served my dish and entrée of my friend at the same time, which is not normal in France because the entrée has to be served first and the dishes come together after, my friend was not so happy but for me, it was ok because I was a bit hungry. I ordered glass noddle Pad-thai, but I think that the taste is too sweet, it’s delicious but should put less sugar. After my friend finished her entrée, she waited for her main dish about 20mins, it was too long time, i have finished my main dish already but she still not received hers. That night, there was not so many customers, so she was a bit angry about the service. My friend ordered Seur Ronghai as a main dish, it has some smell of some kind of powder or spices on the food that I don’t like and the sauce was too sour, but my friend said it tasted ok for her, that helps to calm her down a little bit.
The portion of the food is quite small comparing to the price. But the place is in the middle of Paris, I understand that it’s normal.

Loved the atmosphere in this place. We were visiting Paris for the holidays & the employees were extremely pleasant unlike the rest of Paris. There was a tiny hair in our veggie rolls but they did apologize for it. We had the whole fish & other seafood entrees. Delicious. They also have a good vegan menu. Ending up staying longer than expected since it was New Year’s Eve. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in Paris!
