Intimate setting and service, dainty decorations, good food, pretty place. Couple of normal diet and vegetarian both had full lunch menu and were satisfied. Only complaint is the ice cream was too sour and bitter to have more than a taste of. But, the chocolate mouse and other small treats were very good.

Pretty good place with traditional food and what feels like a traditional Parisian ambiance. Service was good, escargot was good, and the rabbit dish was unique with a lot of flavors. None of it was exceptional, though. Complementary cheese pastries were really good, too!
Katerina Evolve - 3 weeks ago
Came in with managed expectations of it being a michelin star, but a casual dining type. And that it will at least be a satisfying meal.
Menu comes in a huge board for every part of the meal. Service was dull, we had to wait long to actually be entertained, or at least have the menu explained to us. We were seated on the second floor and found it hard to get a server's attention, and when you do, boy do they have a cold demeanor. But ok, maybe they let their food do the talking.
Started on a high with the complimentary cheese balls. Oh I love the peppery flavour that really enhances the bite. Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, loved it! Then with the escargot, found the flavour to be clean, but a little too muted.
For mains, we had the seared duck and tenderloin steak. The duck was well cooked and complemented by the sauce. Special? Not particularly. The tenderloin steak has a good bite and juiciness, but came in barely warm. Yes, not sure how I was able to forgive that, that dish waited too long on their kitchen window (circling back to this being on the second floor and barely able to get server's attention, well yeah, there's that). Shame because the side of baked potatoes was good.
Did we consider ordering desserts? Yes. Did we? No, the meal we just had made us decide against ordering further.
On the bright side, they had good wine and free madelines at the end. Left feeling underwhelmned.

Had a lovely meal at this Michelin-starred spot in Paris. While it’s called a bistro, the fine dining experience was impressive. Great service and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the city!
feiyaukee - a month ago
Amazing food, amazing service, don't understand negative reviews.
The butter was this amazing velvety shallot butter that makes every butter thereafter meaningless in comparison. The best butter.
We had the Rabbit Royale and the Beef Tenderloin - beef was so tender and flavorful without being fatty, and the aus jus added the perfect saltiness to pair. Both meals came with whipped potatoes so light you'd think it was latte foam. The rabbit was an amazing trip through pate, truffle, pork, and veal, but be prepared! Because it's not just a steak it could be a bit mineral-ly for some.
The delicious finale that cannot be skipped is the brioche perdue, a creme-brulee'd french toast filled with hazelnut praline, vanilla bean Chantilly, and perfect praline glacé.
It was so good, we ordered two.
We'll be back next time we're in Paris. Now always a must for us!

Great place to get compose-it-yourself salad at the foot of the Tour St Jacques. Lots of ingredients to choose from to put on top of a self selected base.

After walking for a whole day, I walked into this cafe because of yelp review. And it is great. Great cheese cake. They don't have English menu but the waitress was very helpful with the translation.

You pick a base (variety of salads, baguette pizza or flatbread), then you pick your toppings. It's all kinds of things you'd expect at a salad bar. My salad was big and filling, and exactly how I wanted.

Great location with amazing views of Paris. Had some issues with our server who disappeared for an hour until we complained and someone else came to assist us. Note that they will sit two couples at a four top table which is unusually for US tourists but standard practice in France. Food was good, but not amazing. You come here for the view and the vibe anyway!
Matt Hendry - a month ago
If you are making a reservation here it should be solely for the views and vibe. The food was extremely mediocre and lacked seasoning and the bathroom cleanliness was equivalent to that of the metro or a public restroom on the street. Our servers were kind and hospitable but for the price you are solely paying for the views.
Kim Bohme - a month ago
Great view, amazing food and the service was actually really good unlike the other reviews. Lilia spoke perfect English and was very helpful and attentive. Plus if you have bookings at George, you can get up to level 6 and then head to your museum session after your meal without having to line up downstairs.
Stella Yun - a month ago
Le Georges offers a stunning view of the city, including the Eiffel Tower, which adds a special touch to the overall dining experience. The ambiance is elegant and enjoyable, making it a pleasant spot to relax and take in the surroundings.
However, the food was quite underwhelming, especially considering the high prices. The quality didn’t justify the cost, which left us feeling that it was overpriced for what was served.
The service was good, with attentive staff who were friendly and efficient, which helped elevate the experience a bit. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the bathrooms was a major letdown. For a restaurant charging premium prices, you’d expect much better upkeep in this regard.
In summary, while Le Georges has a great view and decent service, the food and cleanliness fall short of expectations, especially given the cost.

Thinking about my dinner that I had here at George’s. A beautiful day in Paris, I came here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. The service was good, our waitress talked us through what she likes and what she would recommend from the menu.
I didn’t take any photos of the food sadly, but these other reviews do a good job showing it off.
I had two main gripes, 1 was the chair, where the arm rests are on the chairs I found myself slouching to rest my arms on it. This maybe an intentional art decision that fits with the restaurants design, and I don’t mind if that’s the case.
The other was the dress code, one of the main reasons I booked this place was because I was excited to have a dinner, with a view of Paris, in a restaurant which had a classy atmosphere. Sadly this was ruined by what must of been a group corporate dinner and a big family dinner where some of them were dressed in t-shirts and casual clothing, this was disappointing because myself and most of the other diners were adhering to the dress code stipulated on the website and email reminders.
If there is a dress code please enforce it.
Otherwise this was a lovey restaurant, great food, good service.

Crêperie Beaubourg is a nice restaurant, old-fashioned and cozy, good to enjoy a traditional Breton meal.
Few steps from center du pompidour, with a beautiful view on fountain de stravinsky.
The menu is centered around galette de sarrasin, made from buckwheat flour, and crepes.
If you're a vegetarian, you'll be pleased to find many options.
And no meal at a creperie is complete without a glass of cider.

Nice outdoor location in front of the Pompidou Museum and fountain. Food was very good. Service was so-so. They served us the wrong wine and then gave us a warm bottle.

Our friend who is from Paris told us we couldn't go to Paris without going to his favorite creperie, this place. Just wow! He was right, this place was so delicious and the best crepes we've ever had. We each ordered one savory and one sweet crepe, as recommended by our friend, and had some beers to go with our meal. We loved everything about this place from the outdoor seating to the service to the food. We had a wonderful time and will come back when we visit again. Highly recommended!!

traveling in Paris for more than a week...enough for Parisien cuisine ?
why not Spanish ?
the Restaurant located in the street full of bar and restaurant.
can't compare to eating in Spain, but very acceptable in Paris.
delicious tapas and paella, octopus salad....enjoying Spanish foods in Paris.
Staff is very busy...need more patience to waiting order like other Parisien Restaurant, when they ready they will came to you...😄

Good thing they speak Spanish. Not all places that sell food from a Spanish speaking country speak Spanish so that’s good. They charge you 5 € euros if you want to use their outlets to charge your phone, ridiculous! Workers are nice and friendly. Mojito had almost no alcohol, disappointing. The place is cute and ok if you’re around the area. The empanadas and potatoes are not great and quite small, understandable for the area I guess. I wouldn’t go back to be honest. But maybe just to give it a second chance.

I come to Black Dog since 2005 to enjoy great steaks 🥩 in a unique atmosphere. The lomo is simply fantastic, the potatoes are delicious, specifically combined with the plate of 6 sauces. I enjoy myself every time.
Generally I come here for celebrations. I had my first date with my wife here, celebrated birthdays, promotions, basically all milestones. I brought family, friends and coworkers. Black Dog and the delicious steaks have become synonymous with good times in my life.
I love the variety of people eating here. You can find everything from metal heads to families and business men in this restaurant. Everyone enjoying a great meal!
I can’t recommend this place enough. I will be back, order my lomo erectus and have a great time. Again and again 🙂

Wonderful bar and restaurant with a metal music theme! The staff is absolutely charming and exceptionally accommodating! The food is phenomenal and highly recommend everything on the menu! Some of the best steaks we have had in France! Not to be missed!

Rock bar, with some emo notes! Music is nice but it also has some interesting decoration! Of course beer is a must but it also offers more types of drinks and food! The general area of Les Marais is full of people from all backrounds and cultures, colour and sounds! It's worth a visit, even more than the area of Montmartre, as you can see the city from above in many more efficient ways regarding time and money! Before visiting Paris, make sure you have a detailed plan of traveling and sightseeing as it might be too much for a couple of days. About 6-9€ per drink which is normal for Paris! Many kind people ready to help and the stuff is most joyous too!

Great legit Metal bar in Paris. Good selection of food since there is a restaurant in the back of the bar. Empanadas were really good. Bartenders were friendly and willing to explain whatever was needed even though I don't speak French.

If you like death metal, you have to eat dinner here or grab a beer here. In fact, everyone should.
I’m actually not a death metal fan but came as an open minded adventurous person. This place is the real deal and THE FOOD WAS AMAZING.
If this was a common jazz bar the line for the food would be wrapped around the street, and/or reservations would be booked out for months. It’s a secret gem in Paris.
Now, I have to say, it is still a secret because it is a *legit* death metal bar and restaurant. If you want to blend in wear all black and maybe spend a few months growing out a thick beard. (Pro tip: Grab a Shining t-shirt). It’s worth it!!
Meat was tender not fatty. The meat was imported from Argentina. The dipping sauce was flawless with the slightest hint of spice (not too much). The potatoes were the best, most potatoey, yellow potatoes I’ve ever had. There isn’t a near second I’m considering, I just know it was the best potatoes I’ve ever eaten in my life. The dish I ordered was called “the threesome” on the English menu.
I. am. stunned. Absolutely excellent.

The Café Beaubourg went to several phases over its 37 years of history : fancy, touristy, average with arrogant service, filthy. Now it seems to be back. With good food, nice service and always its lofty atmosphere (and a nice cat used to interact w/ guests). Then it's a safe bet at any time of the day. Not sure how it will deal with the upcoming 5-year closure of the Centre Pompidou, though. Most likely less tourists and more locals...

I went on a Monday night and had a great experience. It is true that not many tables were taken, so it was a slow night, but the waiter that looked after me was really nice and attentive. Got me an English menu, checked if they had what I wanted (they did) and would check in on me regularly.
The food was also really good. I had the tuna tartare and the pavlova and they were both faultless.

Everyone treated us hospitably, and everyone loved the food. We will definitely go back in the future because it was an excellent experience. And the entertainment/music by Max also created such a great vibe.

We visited 1 week ago, overall experience was so-so. We went inside to have a look on all the pastries and to chose what to order but we were pushed out to sit and read the menu instead. The service was a little bit rushed. We did not enjoy much our first breakfast in Paris.

Servers both very sweet and attentive, both good English (which is ideal as my French is poor) I found this place by looking for gluten free options in Paris.
The breads texture and taste was impressively like regular bread and the dessert was incredible and light. The wine (bogey) was also great. If it wasn’t my last day I would have went back.
All the best and highly recommend
(Just noticed I left my review for the one in London, not Paris 😂 here’s the Paris one)
