5 Star Rating This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. We absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. The ambiance was incredible—beautifully decorated— the art, gold accents, and elegant furniture. We ordered the cheese, lamb, and the basil strawberry dessert. The dessert was a delightful explosion of flavors, and the lamb with potatoes was simply delicious. The service was exceptional, making the experience even more memorable. We loved every thing about this place. We had such as special time here where we felt like we were transported into another era.

3 Star Rating If you are looking for a place to take pictures, this is the place. The interior deco is spectacular, very classy and beautiful. However, the restaurant is obviously understaffed both on the floor and in the kitchen. Be ready to wait for 40 minutes after finishing your main course to have your desserts served. We tried three times to seek help from the server but they were too busy, this table was totally forgotten by them, after serving the main course. The octopus starter was disappointing, the temperature of the octopus was neither hot nor fresh, room temperature. Not sure if it was normal. As to the main course, it was normal. I found the veil a little bit lack of seasoning, the gravy was also very plain. The side potatoes and mushroom reminded me of the meals on the airplane. Will not return again unless I have to take some more nice picture for my instagram. There are many restaurants in Paris in this price range can do better food and service, but their deco is definitely one of the best.

5 Star Rating Nestled in the heart of Paris, Le Train Bleu is more than just a restaurant; stepping inside, we are immediately drawn to the beautiful murals adorning the walls, as well as the gold accents. One of the most appealing aspects of Le Train Blue is its pet-friendly policy. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable while we ate.

3 Star Rating I arrived late and was hungry. Not always the best conditions to choose a restaurant. The food is okay, not too expensive, but also nothing I want to remember. The pic shows a steak, I ordered well done, but this was burnt to death. The Pepper sauce was very good, the fries below McDonald’s. At the end 3 stars. Perhaps you should order the »Sauerkraut« dishes. These looked very good.

5 Star Rating My go to restaurant whenever I arrive or depart by train from Gare De Lyon (unless I am treating myself to the Train Bleu). Great Parisian atmosphere and great for people watching in the bustling rue opposite the station. Half a dozen oysters followed by grilled fish on a bed of vegetables and all washed down with a lovely 50cl carafe of Macon for €50! Great value and recommended. The waiters are very friendly and efficient also.

4 Star Rating My friend and I ate here without making a reservation. We were seated promptly. The restaurant was not super busy, but is not far from a tourististy spot in Paris (Le tour Eiffel). Clean and pretty inside. They have menus in both FR and EN. The server didn't really speak English well, but that's okay because I ordered for us in French. But, he could get by. We first had the Mix de Brushetta (Brushetta Mix). She had Prosecco. Perrier 33mL for me. The Brushetta was good, but we weren't expecting the cured raw salmon as a "topping." However, it was tasty. The toppi gs are described in either menu, so you should ask as they might change. We ordered separate meals, but tasted each other's. My meal came out incorrectly so I had to wait. She had pizza, which was just okay. She removed a few pepperonis for me to taste a bite while I waited. First they brought out this huge bowl of twisty pasta with ham (Coquillettes du Jambon, Comté à la Truffe), which looked good, but I don't eat meat. I didn't have a chance to take a photo b/c I didn't let the server leave it. When I correct meal came, I had the Ravioli Ricotta E Spinaci (Rav w/ Ricotta & Spinach), which was DELICIOUS! My friend was so jealous. It came out hot and looked like a smaller bowl, but we were both surprised by the amount. It kept giving, and she kept dipping her pizza in my sauce. It really was quite good. The British guy next to us chatted with us and let me try his Tiramisu, which was great. Clean and crisp, with the taste of espresso but not overpowering and not overly sweet. And her Panna Cotta was good also, smooth, chilled, not too sweet. But my Crème Brûlée was very good. The sugar was thin and not burnt, also smooth. And I tasted all the vanilla, with the visible beans. I highly recommend the Ravioli.

5 Star Rating Love their pizzas and the relaxing vibe here. The aubergine one was my favourite and surprisingly super yummy. Came back another day for the spicy chorizo one which was also very good. Don’t eat cheese but forgot to ask not to have cheese when ordering at 2nd visit but the gentleman who served the pizza to me was very kind and immediately returned the pizza to kitchen without question when I told him that and brought me a new one without cheese 15minutes later. Will definitely come back next time in Paris. Highly recommended for everyone who wants a slice of good pizza 🍕 (espresso is very good too)

4 Star Rating Amazing place to get a quick bite after a long day of travel as this is right next to the train station. Plating and presentation is a big deal here. You get the fancy feel at a very reasonable price. If you are staying at the hotel above the restaurant you also get a 20% discount. You do have to pay for water. The Spaghetti was a little bland. However the ravioli was amazing. There are only a few vegetarian options.

5 Star Rating Tucked round the corner from Gare de Lyon is this great little establishment. We popped in as we were staying nearby but wanted something better than hotel beer. As we both like trying different beers this made this place a great choice. For us awkward tourists you never quite know the protocol when going in to somewhere like this, but we were soon sat at a table by the friendly barman who took our drinks order and popped back with a menu and specials board. While I can read and speak some French, the barman soon took pity on me and translated a couple of the menu items I was unsure of, we did not want much so grabbed the little chicken kebabs with dessert option. The food was great, served nice and hot and arrived quickly. The Savernoise beer was a local brew and very pleasant if you don't want anything too strong. If you're in the area and want a nice quick bite and a beer you'll not be disappointed.

5 Star Rating After losing the rugby and wandering back to our hotel we stopped for a nightcap. The place itself is nothing special but the atmosphere and locals, this is a bar used by local rail staff, are the most friendly and forthcoming. Ok we were the only English in there and France had won but it wasn't all about the rugby. The owner treated us to a drink and so did a couple of locals. For just one drink before bed we spent over two hours such was the company.

5 Star Rating Chef almost single handedly runs this restaurant. Sauces are perfect and expertly executed. The menu changes often and brings seasonal flavours into play. The entire table enjoyed his menu. We especially liked the roasted suckling pork which was delicious and so tender! A new benchmark for pork. Almost all pros. There was a con with our chicken dish. The chicken dish was an added 6 euros on top of the prix fix menu. The chicken was under seasoned and a little over done which made it our least favorite thing to eat. Just needed more seasoning on the chicken meat. The desserts were delicious. I love Pari Breast and Pavlovas , not a huge fan of blueberry souffle. Timely service and presentation 5/5. All the dishes were served together. We were a big group of 9 so it would have been hard. Amazing service. Well managed restaurant. Good with bookings and email communication which is important since we are tourists.

5 Star Rating First and foremost, the service was pleasant and hospitable. The servers were able to accommodate our large party and efficiently took our orders. They were happy to answer questions about the dishes we ordered and were diligent with refilling water and bread. Most importantly, they made me feel welcome in their establishment! The food and cooking tecbnique were all well executed. Being the white asparagus or suckling pork, each bite was flavorful and tender. I could observe the chef Shin Maeda personally prepare and put the finishing touches on all the dishes from the open kitchen with the same consistency as many in our group ordered the same dishes and all echoed similar positive complements. All in all, the Japanese-French influence reflected in the food and service provided a unique and memorable experience for my trip to Paris!

5 Star Rating What a gem next to gare de Lyon! Food was a joy of flavors: the terrine, smooth flavor, well balanced combination of pork meat and vegetables, in sync with the pickled salad. My main dish of gnocchi was made with love and subtle care, full of a flavoursome creamy mushroom sauce and an egg parfait. To finish with a traditional baba rum & chantilly cream, airy and delicious.Truly impressed. My friends enjoyed their dishes particularly, the delight and a great surprise, the asparagus starter and the cherry soufflé to finish! A play in your palate, definitely to repeat. It is not horrible expensive not cheap, but well worth it!
