We visited this restaurant for a special occasion and it was spectacular. The food was amazing, the staff and service was amazing. Lovely bar at the top and restaurant at the bottom. We celebrated my birthday here and my partner ordered a dessert and informed the staff it was my birthday and out came the sparklers and everyone sang happy birthday it was such a nice surprise. They truly make it special🥺🥂✨

Like the one in Dubai Buddha-Bar Paris offers an unforgettable dining experience. The wines, cocktails, and food were absolutely unparalleled—each element perfectly crafted and delicious. The ambiance is equally remarkable, with its unique blend of elegance and tranquility that sets the perfect mood for a memorable evening.
The attention to detail and exceptional service made the experience even more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a sophisticated and flavorful night out in Paris.

Buddha Bar is super cute. The ambiance and decor are quite trendy and hip. Definitely a spot to go for a special occasion dinner or a night out with friends. Food was delicious and tasty. We ordered the calamari, rock shrimp, the steamed shrimp dumplings, and the Buddha Bar roll for our starters. For our mains, we ordered the five spice chicken, the pork ribs, and the red curry prawns. The standouts were the calamari, rock shrimp, the pork ribs and the red curry prawns. I would definitely order all of them again. The biggest negatives were that there was an event that night, so it felt super crowded upstairs getting around and there was really only one server for downstairs, so we waited quite a while for things. However, I'd go back and try them again on a regular night.

What an opportunity to visit Buddha-Bar Paris and dine! This has been in my bucket list forever and Buddha-Bar Paris did not disappoint. Selection of delicious sushi rolls and a steak cooked to perfection all surrounding by eye dazzling decoration and of course the soundtracks of Buddha-Bar. Strongly recommend it.

A Saturday night in Paris and the 5-course tasting menu for two with a bottle of wine. French fine dining at its best with all the classical touches - a good excuse to dress up and drink fancy wine. Remembered for dishes I don’t normally enjoy but loved. Masterful use of mushrooms, beetroot and asparagus. Perfectly cooked mains, craft and technique everywhere. The ambiance was a little quieter and the service a little colder than we are used to.

I had the five-course with wine paring. The sommelier’s selection of the food and wine pairing was deliberated. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious and flavourful. The asparagus was my favorite! Nice combination with ice cream.

My family went to Lucas Carton our Christmas lunch. The staff were lovely and very attentive, the atmosphere was relaxed and quite nice for Christmas Day. Unfortunately the food was a disappointment, during the meal I found a solid piece of metal in the venison. The staff explained this was because it was imported. However, considering €1000+ was spent on the meal and I almost chipped one of my molars - I was very unimpressed. Both my sister and father were very sick after the meal, we hadn’t eaten anything prior (and didn’t feel well enough to eat anything after). My sister was projectile vomiting into the night, not sure if it was related to the meal but quite certain it was. I have had set menus before for other special occasions at a lower price point and the food was of a much higher quality. The champagne was lovely and again great service from the staff. The price point definitely did not match up to the quality of food - €1000+ for three people.

A wonderful lunch on the very special occasion of our 40th wedding anniversary. The food was quite extraordinary accompanied by excellent wines. The service was, as would be expected first class.
We enjoyed ourselves immensely

We were transported into the old world luxury.
Delicious food but slightly bland for my Asian palette. Our waitress,Savannah took care of us really well and made us feel like family.
Be prepared to be pampered there for 5 hours if you select the 7 courses with wine pairing.

Book ahead- this place is small and packed but well worth the wait! I had the 3 course souffle meal but have to admit it was super rich and there are also choices to have a non-souffle option instead for different courses. Every souffle was perfectly cooked, light and fluffy, intensely flavoured and generous on the booze for dessert! Service was fantastic - 'Must do' when in Paris!

I love the food, the service and the attention to detail I get when I bring guest to this restaurant. I have been bringing my friends and family to this restaurant for 15 years and still love it. I recommend it to anyone who is coming to Paris. This is the second time in six weeks I have been lucky enough to bring people to try the restaurant. Oh course they loved it and want to come back! It was a highlight of Paris.

The food is average, coffee is good. The toilet room was dirty, no soap, no paper, but it’s not a cheap place)))
The cafe is located in a quiet street, among boutiques. At lunchtime they will let you in if you will eat. prices are high, service is ok

It's not cheap, but you're eating in a café in Paris in the stylish pedestrian street that has boutiques from Chanel and Dior, so just enjoy. Food was pretty good, the steak tartare offered better value than the petit filet, which lived up to its billing. Chips and salad good. Service was efficient.

Awesome place with great food and pretty much the only place with good service we experienced in 3 days in paris. Chich and trendy decor, nested in a cute arcade between the Dior and Chanel store, Well thought out and presented dishes, encompassing a range of tastes and flavours from around the world. They were also very accommodating with our 4 year old and made a dish for her that wasn't on the menu. Not cheap but it is what it is.
Shane Affridi - a year ago
Place is nice but the food was terrible and expensive, 12€ for a plate of scrambled eggs that appeared to be soup with a small bread that was hard as a rock, the coffee was worst than instant coffee and it came from a machine not from an espresso machine which for 8€ is a scam.
The service is ok, nothing surprising just regular Paris service.
The place is in a nice spot but definitely not worth the price, you pay top money and get low quality.

Waiter was mean and nasty, he was screaming and talking loudly, the clashing noises of dishes was annoying, and the coffee was regular. Would definitely not recommend.

The ambiance and the decor transports you back in time over 100 years, that was the star of the show. The service was excellent and fast. The entertainment was just ok good enough for background music. The food was good I thought the starter scallops carpaccio was creative, the mushroom tart beautifully presented but a bit too earthy for my taste, the sea bass was perfectly cooked in a lemon butter sauce, and the caviar linguine was too fishy for my taste yet my partner liked, definitely not worth its price. Overall, food was ok service and ambiance were wonderful.

Overall I enjoyed the evening, mostly because of the atmosphere, it was the star of the night. It’s super elegant and charming, basically we had dinner at candlelights with piano.
Food. We shared all three meals since wanted to try signature chicken for the main, which is to share. We started with crispy shrimps, which were crispy, but way too oily. Continued with roasted chicken with morels, fries and strawberries with whipped cream. The dessert was the star of the meal, the cream was just perfect and berries fresh. Fries were too soggy. Chicken was actually good, but way too much for 2 persons, which I would like to be advised ahead, when ordering. Of course it was impossible to finish it, as we wanted to still enjoy some dessert.
Service overall was polite and nice, but at some point lacked professionalism, like when serving chicken, which is a signature dish, they just rolled a cart behind our backs and without saying anything to us started cutting it and not even straight away. I would like to be notified and shown the dish as a whole, luckily I noticed it myself and managed to take photo, while it waited to be cut. Needless to say that dish was nearly warm. Also for such level restaurant I think champagne and wine should be poured at the table, not brought in the glass. And our wine was already poured while we had still champagne in glasses, which was corrected and brought later as asked, but still these things counts. So sharing them in hopes of helping making dinner experience even nicer.
On Fridays and Saturdays the bar is open upstairs. Piano started playing at 20.30pm on Sunday night.

Have to check this place once, mostly for it's decor and history, dating to the Belle Époque, 19th century. Every lighting element here is a piece of art.
🎨 It has historically attracted an artistic crowd, but today it feels more like a spot for the "golden youth", models and "beautiful" people. I found one drawing (see below) reflecting to perfection some of the current clientele.
Thursday night at the bar (plenty of women.. working?) and club upstairs, there is a DJ playing generic music and some oldies.
🪩 Danse area is comprised of several carpeted rooms, with a grand smoking area, so you come back smelling of tobacco. We didn't feel very comfortable.

I was super excited to visit this storied restaurant . The decor/atmosphere was a delight. It’s a gorgeous place. The service was friendly and professional as well as kind. The food was at some points spectacular (could have eaten another two of the mushroom tarts!) and evenly very well done. It was not the best meal in terms of food that I’ve ever had but I found the value for the price /experience quite reasonable. I would certainly go back. Live music and scintillating atmosphere for dinner service. I’m very glad I managed to get reservations. Recommended for sure!

The service was superb by the waiter and the waitress. The little taster provided was really nice and presented perfectly.
I had the snails and the blanquet de veau. The snails as you can see by my photo were huge. Like you'd see on old fossils on nature programmes. The garlic sauce was fantastic.
For main the veal stew was sublime. Lots of it with the copper pot it served in. The veal was tender, the potatoes lovely and soft. The bacon added saltiness to it to make the cream sauce taste amazing. So a great dish. This was recommended by Fred Siriex on twitter a few days prior and he was correct. Superb.
For dessert had tje crepes suzette. Maybe it was a personal opinion but i disliked this. The sauce was horrific but may be due to my own taste. The crepes were tough in parts to cut so even if had a different sauce I'd still give it a bad review.
The salad starter my partner had looked awful and she said it wasn't great, and her main dish the gnocchi she said was only ok. I think she chose poor so my review is based upon my own dishes.
The chablis wine was very nice.
Overall decent in parts so 3.5 out of 5

We wanted to eat some traditional french dishes, and Chez Monsieur was not far from where we stayed, so we went there for a lunch and it turned out to be the best choice we could have made! We ordered escargot, foie gras, blanquette de veau and bœuf bourgignon. Everything was beyond excellent! Our waitress was very kind and attentive. All in all it was one of the highlight of our trip. I will return for sure!
Kinga Szalai - 7 months ago
For the classic French food lover, this will hit the spot: boeuf bourguignon, escargot, foie gras - you name it. Additional good sign for authenticity is the lack of English language skills and the very extensive wine list.
Yet, if you look around, you will find obviously find better tasting food and spots with a nicer outdoor area, the service could be a bit more attentive.
I would not necessarily go again, but that’s due to the high competition and so many other places where - if this is the first time you go to this city - you will experience more of that French charming character you might have been dreaming about.

Revisiting after 2 years. They still maintain the same high quality ingredients and dedication to food preparation.
This time tried their beef filet and sole meunière again. They each comes with a side dish, French fries and zucchini with roasted cherry tomatoes.
The beef filet is perfectly executed. Tender and juicy.
The French fries, OMG, it is hands down the best French fries I have ever had. It is homemade, crispy and with a strong aroma of the potato itself, unlike the batch made fries that comes from a factory.
I never liked zucchini, but the way they make it comes with a bit of a crunchy texture and the cherry tomato is super juicy and flavorful. I actually enjoyed it a lot!
The sole meunière is good, but not as amazing as I remembered, probably because it is under seasoned. But that is not a deal breaker, it is better than overly salted! And the fish is fresh and tender as before. So I am very happy with the dish.
And they offered fresh made madelene after the meal. I love the madelene and since it is freshly made, it still has that slight crunchy texture at the edge. I love it!
And strongly recommend the escargots. It is as “gros” as they described and so well seasoned!
I hope that in today’s market, there will always be room for restaurants like this who is dedicated to make things from the scratch in house. Otherwise we’d only be left with restaurants that process half-made food.
—————————————————
Really, I think the chefs at the restaurants are masters of cooking techniques, from the entries to desserts.
I had the sole meunière, and the it is perfect from every detail, the color is beautiful. The browned butter is perfectly nutty, not undercooked, not overbrowned, just perfect. and they use just the right amount of butter so the sole is juicy and tender but not greasy.
The floating island dessert is impressive. They thoughtfully used cold dish to serve it. This single dish is the ultimate test of the chefs skills on temperature. The chefs are no doubt the master of sugar 👍
Most importantly, their service cannot be any better. I feel taken care of.
Strongly recommend!!

This spot is ideally located near the US Embassy, and just a 3 minute walk from the Concord metro line. Safety is not an issue if you go alone. The indoor seating and covered outdoor sitting is perfect for a gathering of friends in this cozy Bistro. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the manager was kind, with understanding. I advise to make a reservation for dinner. There was live entertainment. It was absolutely amazing. I don't know what days they have live entertainment, but this trio was the best I've heard in Paris. I will return just for that and the good wine, and give the breakfast and lunch menu a taste. Rarely you'll find a restaurant serving all day.

After traveling around france for a while we tried different restaurants and were mostly disappointed. This bistro had a good rating and went there to try it - we were not disappointed! Both of us had a red wine from the region and it tasted good, they were very strong, so not for everyone. We just had an appetizer and french fries, because it was at afternoon and we wanted to have dinner. My friend had a oven baked camembert with toasties and honey, pretty simple but so good! I had baby squids in butter with garlic. I loved it! It was fresh, crispy but also tasteful. Just perfect. The french fries were okay, they were a little too soggy. My neighbors had a steak and some pork which looked good. The ambient outside was very cute on the street, service was great! He was very friendly and welcoming.
I would definitely come here again!
